Superman was having a blast fighting crime and keeping people safe. But then he realized that he was late for his date with Lois.
"Oh crap I better move it", Superman said to himself as he flew off to meet Lois.
Unfortunately it wasn't actually a date with Lois for you see Perry made them play critics at a new local restaurant. So instead of getting to know one another they talked about food and restaurants. Clark was getting bored fast by the time their main course had arrived at their table.
Clark kept checking his watch praying when it would be over.
"Worst date ever. I can hardly get a word in with her", Clark thought to himself as he slowly ate his food.
Lois kept talking about her career as a journalist as well as other restaurants but revealed nothing about herself as a person. Every time Clark tried to engage in the conversation Lois would cut him off or sometimes she would be too busy taking notes instead of listening.
Finally after what felt like a long boring night Clark and Lois got the bill and paid it. Lois bid Clark farewell as she hailed a taxi and rode into the night. Clark was expecting a lot more romance that night but it just didn't happen quite like that. Clark decided to take a walk around the city as he headed for home. Suddenly Clark saw a strange figure moving on the rooftops above him. Clark quickly ditched his clothes and flew up to investigate.
"Alright where are you", Superman said suddenly.
"Over here", Batman said suddenly as Superman realized who he was.
"Oh Bruce hi there", Superman said as Batman shook his head.
"You wrecked my car", Batman revealed as he narrowed his eyes at Superman.
"Yeah sorry about that", Superman said as he rubbed the back of his nervously.
Batman suddenly smiled.
"That's okay I got a surprise date for you", Batman replied as Superman tensed up a bit.
"Oh boy look Bruce I only have eyes for Lois in all honesty", Superman admitted.
Superman's darted all around himself trying to think of any excuse to get out of whatever Batman had planned.
"I mean who would protect Metropolis without me she would fall apart", Superman argued weakly.
"Oh don't worry the titans and I have it all figured out. You can enjoy your date in peace rest assured", Batman smirked.
Superman knew that whatever Batman had planned was sweet revenge for ruining his car.
But before Superman could argue Batman interrupted him.
"I refuse to take no for an answer now go on enjoy your night off with your date", Batman said as he disappeared into the night.
"I wonder who he could possibly have planned as my date", Superman said out loud as a portal opened in front of him.
"Hello again handsome", A woman said as she came out of the portal.
"Maxima", Superman said as his mouth dropped to the floor.
