"John, I got a plan", Dutch said to John as they stood on a mountain together with their guns drawn.
"You always have a plan Dutch", John hissed as he kept his gun trained On Dutch.
"This is a good one", Dutch laughed as he dropped his gun.
"I don't doubt it", John replied as he holstered his own gun.
"Times are changing John and I can no longer fight them. This world is not for the likes of me anymore. Or perhaps they never were to begin with. I finally see John and I am sorry. I am a monster John and I was so foolish that I actually thought that I was once a hero. I was only fooling myself even Annabelle knew that", Dutch said as he saw Arthur walk up from behind John.
Dutch quickly did a double take.
"Arthur, is that really you", Dutch asked.
"But I thought you were dead from your illness", Dutch muttered.
"It turns out them Pinkertons gave me a cure and a task for redemption", Arthur replied.
"Arthur, I am sorry son", Dutch said as he leaped off the cliff.
John and Arthur watched Dutch die from the fall. They looked at each other for a moment as they made their down to the buttom. John and Arthur just stared silently at Dutch's body while Ross suddenly appeared.
"And neither of you could kill him", Ross said as he shook his head.
Ross looked at John with angry look on his face.
"Can I see your gun John", Ross asked suddenly.
John reluctantly handed Ross his pistol. Ross proceeded toward Dutch's body and shot him once in the chest.
"What the hell was that for Ross", Arthur asked.
"Trust me boys it looks better in the report that way", Ross said as he gave the pistol back to John.
"Alright you two are now free to go and remember to stay out of trouble this time around", Ross announced as Fordham suddenly appeared.
"Hold up Ross I am afraid that you are under arrest", Fordham said as he drew his gun on Ross.
"What is the meaning of this", Ross argued as US Marshals grabbed Ross.
"Edgar Ross, you are under arrest for murder and fraud", Fordham explained as Ross continued to resist.
"That is ridiculous. This was not part of the deal", Ross swore.
"Your deal with Johns no longer exists I am afraid for he was arrested earlier this morning for the same reasons. Have a nice life Ross", Fordham chuckled as the marshals dragged Ross away.
"This isn't over Fordham. You have not seen the last of me. Let go of me you apes", Ross said as he tried to break free.
THE marshals hogtied Ross and gagged him as they rode off with him in tow.
John and Arthur looked at each other as they saw Fordham approach them.
"You boys did your country a great service. Unfortunately Ross and Johns weren't playing a fair game. They also intended to kill you two as well", Fordham unveiled as Arthur made a face.
"I knew that we couldn't trust that good for nothing bastard", Arthur replied.
"Not too worry gentlemen the agency has agreed to hold up it's bargain and furthermore. We would like you two to become our bounty hunters we will pay you handsomely for your trouble", Fordham smiled.
"I am sorry Fordham but we are going to have to pass. We are married men after all and we would just like to get on with our lives", John said.
"Well the agency could use men like you in it not to mention that we also would like you to know that this work won't be forced like before. You work on your own and your own way", Fordham said as he handed checks to Arthur and John with large amounts of money on them.
THE two men smiled.
"Well now that you put it that way", Arthur laughed.
"Glad to have you on board then. It was an honor to work with you. Be seeing you boys", Fordham said as he left.
Arthur and John rode off to Brecchers hope where they found Uncle playing with Jack while Mary and Abigail talked to each other. But when they all saw Arthur and John riding toward them they all waved and ran toward them.
"Oh my God Arthur are you alright", Mary cried as she ran into Arthur's arms.
Arthur and Mary got married shortly after Arthur and John ran away from Ross. Arthur and Mary have been living with John and Abigail ever since. John and Arthur bulit a small cabin for them to stay on the ranch.
"Hello Mr. Marston", Abigail said as she kissed John.
"I missed you too Mrs. Marston", John replied.
After a few weeks they got things running on the ranch just fine. They all were very happy.
"I think we did okay brother", Arthur said as he hugged John.
"Me too", John replied.
