Hello and welcome to the first chapter of this new crossover between Naruto and Miraculous, The Miraculous Knuckleheaded Ninjas. This is yet another request from my friend, Menatron the Angel of Ideas, and it will be the last one for the year. In this, Naruto and his friends travel to the Miraculous world and help out Ladybug and Cat Noir against Hawkmoth.

Chapter 1

New Mission

It had been two and a half years since Naruto Uzumaki left Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves, for a training trip with the Toad Mountain Sage, Jiraiya of the Legendary Sanin, or Pervy Sage as Naruto would call him. During that time, Pervy Sage taught the Number One Hyperactive Knuckle-Headed Ninja how to control the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox, though it wasn't easy. While that was going on, his teammates, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha were also training with one of Sanin. Sakura was training with Tsunade Senju and Sasuke was training with Orochimaru, but that wasn't as flattering as it seemed.

At present, Jiraiya was looking up at the moon for no real reason. Suddenly from out of nowhere, something, or rather someone, came flying right at Jiraiya. The Toad Sage was quick to respond as he… stretched out his hand? Right before this mysterious individual could hit Jiraiya, it stopped and landed right into his hand. It turned out to be a small creature, only 10 centimeters tall, with a large head, big eyes, an extremely short tail, a tiny body, arms and legs that lacked fingers and toes, and some noticeable frog features.

Jiraiya recognized the little critter. "Hopp?"

"Master Jiraiya." Hopp regained his composure. "Master Wang-Fu needs your help!"

"Wang-Fu?" Now Jiraiya was concerned. "What's going on?"

Hopp explained, "An evil villain named Hawkmoth is trying to get his hands on the Miraculous."

The following morning, Naruto and Jiraiya arrived back at Konoha where Naruto gave out a big announcement.

"I'M HOME EVERYONE! NARUTO UZUMAKI HAS RETURNED TO THE HIDDEN LEAF VILLAGE!"

While Naruto and Sakura were off catching up, Jiraiya spoke to Tsunade about his message from Hopp. "So, Wang Fu is having trouble with this Hawkmoth?"

"Yeah, I'm afraid so." Jiraiya nodded. "He requested my help since, if anyone gets their hands on the Miraculous of creation and destruction, they can wish for just about anything. I'm more worried about what would happen if Orochimaru or the Akatsuki got their hands on them."

"Indeed." Tsunade pinched her chin. "If Orochimaru got them, he could easily restore his arms. If the Akatsuki got them, they wouldn't even need the Tailed Beasts. And if Danzo got his hands on them, he could simply wish to be the Hokage."

"Lady Tsunade?"

"Shizune, gather all of Konoha 11 and get them ready to go help Wang Fu." Tsunade turned her attention to Jiraiya. "Where is Wang Fu stationed at?"

Unfortunately, several eavesdroppers were overhearing the conversation.

In his office, Danzo received word about the Miraculous. "I see."

Danzo entered the headquarters of Root where he called upon one of his underlings. It was a young man about Naruto's age with short straight black hair, dark eyes, and pale skin wearing a short black-and-gray jacket with red stripes, a high-collared midriff shirt, black pants, shinobi sandals, and gloves with his index and thumb fingers exposed. He also carried a tipless tanto on his back.

The young man kneeled. "You called for me, sir?"

Danzo explained the situation. "Therefore, you are to join Team Kakashi as they are currently one man short. And as of right now, your name will be Sai."

That night after Naruto and Sakura's battle with Kakashi, they, Team Kurenai, Team Asuma, and Team Guy, all assembled at the Hokage's office where Tsunade and Jiraiya explained the situation to them. Already, some of them were skeptical about the explanation, especially Shikamaru.

"So let me get this straight," said Shikamaru. "You want us to help this old man named Wang Fu in protecting some pieces of jewelry known as the Miraculous before this Hawkmoth guy gets them?"

"That's about the gist of it." Jiraiya answered.

Naruto was equally skeptical. "Grandma Tsunade, Pervy Sage, no offense, but that all sounds a bit far-fetched to me."

"I agree with Naruto," said Ino. "What kind of powers could pieces of jewelry possibly have and shouldn't we be focusing on fighting the Akatsuki?"

Tsunade then spoke, "I know what you mean, but according to Wang Fu, two Miraculous in particular are more powerful than the rest. The Ladybug Miraculous which holds the power of creation and the Cat Miraculous which holds the power of destruction. If one wears both, they would be able to have any wish they want granted to them. But it comes at a price, for every benefit that's granted to the user, an equal amount of consequences will be applied to everyone around him or her."

Everyone received a mixed reaction, obviously still skeptical.

Kiba decided to put his foot down. "You guys got any way to back up your claims?"

Hopp then popped out of Jiraiya's pocket. "How about me?"

All four teams jumped.

"What the heck is that?"

"This is Hopp, one of the Kwamis who resides in the Miraculous, one for each." Jiraiya answered. "Without them, the Miraculous wouldn't work."

Hopp then took the time to explain. "To be blunt, we Kwamis work together with whoever wears our corresponding Miraculous in order to, no pun intended, do miraculous things. For example, I give my wearers the power of propulsion, allowing them to jump on and off of any surface."

Shino asked, "How does that even work?"

"We'll show you." Jiraiya took out the Frog Miraculous. "Hopp, JUMP ON…!"

With that, Hopp entered the Miraculous and Jiraiya took on a frog-themed outfit consisting of a warted dark green jumpsuit with a yellow front, a matching dark green mask, and a brownish gold hooded Haori. Everyone's reactions were mixed.

Jiraiya posed. "So, what do you think?"

"The hooded cloak is cool!" said Naruto. "But honestly Pervy Sage, the jumpsuit doesn't… suit you."

Choji chomped on a potato chip. "Still, you gotta admit, that was quite the transformation."

"JUMP OFF…!"

Jiraiya returned to normal.

"Okay, so the Miraculous can transform people into superhero-type people or whatever, but where is Wang Fu," Shikamaru questioned. "If we're going to participate on this mission, we'll need to know where we're going to go."

"Wang Fu's home is in another dimension," Tsunade explained, "in a city known as Paris, France."

Ino questioned, "But how are we going to get there?"

Tsunade explained how they would be sent to Paris. But when she was done with her explanation, Naruto asked, "Okay, but who's going to be the 3rd member on our team?"

Sakura agreed. "Yeah in case you haven't noticed, our team is one man short."

Before Tsunade could say anything, Danzo came into the room. "Perhaps I can fix that."

Everyone looked at Danzo as Sai entered the room with him.

Jiraiya narrowed his eyes. "Danzo."

"It's good to see you back, Jiraiya, along with the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki." Danzo said bluntly, not caring about how sensitive the topic was. "I suppose that 3 year training period went well?"

Jiraiya nodded his head.

Tsunade growled. "What do you want, Danzo?"

"I understand that Team Kakashi is still one man short, so I thought I would have one of my underlings fill the gap." Danzo presented Sai. "He will fill in for the missing Sasuke Uchiha, who as you all know is still with Orochimaru."

"Hello."

Jiraiya kept his attention on Danzo. "What are you up to, Danzo?"

"Nothing you need to worry about, Jiraiya." Danzo brushed it off. "In any case, you have more pressing matters to like the Miraculous. I wish you all good luck on your mission."

Danzo then left the room.

"Okay, what was that all about?"

"Worry about it later, Naruto." Tsunade instructed. "Now, why don't you all introduce yourselves to each other."

"Naruto Uzumaki…"

"Sakura Haruno…"

"Neji Hyuga…"

"Tenten…"

"Rock Lee…"

"Hinata Hyuga…"

"Kiba Inuzuka and this is Akamaru…"

"Shino Aburame…"

"Shikamaru Nara…"

"Choji Akimichi…"

"Ino Yamanaka…"

"And they call me Sai…"

Once everyone was done introducing themselves, they were all dismissed and Jiraiya and Tsunade had a serious talk with the Jonin leaders.

"Well, that got awkward fast."

"Who would have thought that Danzo would select someone to fill in for Sasuke and right when I was preparing everyone to head to Paris." Tsunade agreed with Jiraiya. "But how did Danzo even know about this?"

Shizune deduced, "Do you think he was spying on our conversation earlier?"

"I wouldn't put it past him to do that," Kakashi sighed. "He is a crafty old man."

Kurenai then got a horrible thought. "But if he overheard your conversation earlier, then could that mean that…"

Jiraiya finished Kurenai's thought, "He wants the Miraculous."

"Wait a minute, I don't think we should jump to conclusions just yet," said Asuma. "We don't even know if that's what he wants."

"Maybe, but we can't take chances." Guy crossed his arms. Whatever Lord Danzo is up to, there's one thing we can be sure of, it can't be good."

At his layer, Orochimaru received a message from one of his snakes and chuckled.

"Lord Orochimaru?"

"It seems that the Guardian of the Miraculous has been found." Orochimaru lifted his useless arms. "With the Miraculous of creation and destruction, I could restore my arms and all the jutsu that Sarutobi took from me that day will be mine again."

"But my lord," said Kabuto, "how do you intend to get your hands on those things?"

"Well for that, we'll have to track down this Hawkmoth." Orochimaru noted. "He's after the Miraculous for a reason. If we find out what that reason is, we might be able to strike a deal with him."

"What about Sasuke?"

"He will come with us since I still aim to take his body just in case negotiations with Hawkmoth don't end well." Orochimaru grinned. "For all we know, the Akatsuki have also discovered this and will likely follow Naruto to capture him. They might even be preparing to take the Miraculous for themselves."

Sasuke walked up to them. "You know I can hear you."

Orochimaru turned his attention to Sasuke. "And just think Sasuke, with the Miraculous, you might be able to bring your beloved clan back to life."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow.

Meanwhile, the Akatsuki have also learned about the Nine-Tails' new mission.

"So the Miraculous can grant any wish the user wants?"

"Yes indeed," said White Zetsu.

Black Zetsu pointed out, "However, one would need both the creation and destruction Miraculous for that to work."

"I see."

"Nagato?"

"Contact Dedara and Sasori immediately." Nagato ordered Zetsu. "Tell them we have a new target."

And that was chapter 1. As you can see, it starts off at the very start of Shippuden and this is where things get interesting. I won't say what for spoiler reasons though. If you want to find out, stay tuned for chapter 2.

Author's Note: Now, I will admit that it was a bit shorter than the first chapters for my other fanfics. But If I can be honest, I just felt that this time, I shouldn't copy what was done in the manga or the anime of Naruto since I would just be copy-pasting what was done there. What happened in Naruto and Sakura's interaction with Shikamaru and Temari is pretty much like how it happened in the anime, but the fight with Kakashi happened like it did in the manga. Pretty much, since it wasn't broken I decided not to fix it. I might do a revision in the future, but for now, this was the best that I could do on short notice.
