It was tranquil, quiet, the bright blue sky overhead. "Uh. . ." Well expect the morning groaning of Pallet Town's resident pigtailed blunette.

Inside her bedroom, (raising from the tumble on floor) Bluebell eyes widen with the sun shining through her window. Smiling pain forgotten, "It starts today!" She shouts jumping up and down. She rushes to get dressed, once done in a quickness. Grabs her cell phone off bed, she sees the notifications:

Time reads: 10:40AM

1 Missed Call and 4 Texts

"I'm LATE, oh man Alya's gonna kill me!" Getting her pink flats on she trips stepping on her Meowth plushie, ignoring the pain she stands up throwing her bedroom door open, slams directly into Milly.

"Mil . . Miltank?" Honey are you okay?

Her father's Miltank asked concerned. Watching carefully as Mari stood up giggling nervously. "Sorry Milly, morning. Are mom and dad. . .?"

Mari trails off as Milly happily points a black hoof down the stairs. "So in the back yard again?" The pink/black cute cow nods her head. She gallops in place. "MIL. . . MILTANK!" YOU'RE SUPPLIES! THEY HAVE TO SEE OFF!

Before Marinette can try to figure out what Milly shouted. The cow places Mari atop her pink black spotted backside, she runs down the stairs out the back door. The whole time the young pigtailed blunette screams arms wrapped around Milly's neck.

"MMMMIIILLLLYYY!"

Sabine's Blaziken walks out the kitchen balancing the lemonade tray in his claws. He blinks seeing Milly with Mari nearly flying down the stairs. He side steps, before following them in the backyard.

Tom and Sabine turn from their breakfast picnic. To the open glass door, seeing Milly racing towards them with their daughter clinging to her.

"Thank you Milly." Tom pets his Miltank on her head sweetly. Blaziken hands the tray to Marinette as she gets her footing back. Mari smiles taking the lemonade, sipping from the straw.

Sabine smiles unknown to her daughter, clearing her throat. All turn towards the tiny but strong gray-eyed blunette. She turns around grabbing a pink two strapped bookbag off the plastic table.

"Now Sweetie, remember you can come home anytime. This journey will be thrilling, unknown turns everywhere, we have faith in you. As long as you and your pokémon understand each other, you will be fine." Sabine hands the bookbag over, the Dupain-Cheng family share a hug.

Marinette is squished between her parents with Milly and Blaziken on their respective master's sides. They release the hug Marinette puts the bookbag on, a determined smile grows on her face, as she glances at Milly and Blaziken.

'I'm ready for my first pokémon. I can do this.' She thinks strongly.

Tom kisses her head, she kisses his cheek. Tom pets her shoulder handing her a pokémon food variety pack. "Best to get going Marinette. We kept you long enough." Her father says holding in tears.

She jumps a foot in the air at the realization. Her panick again sets in. Sabine smirks looking up at Blaziken. The silent glance is obvious. Blaziken just nods carefully picking Marinette up and jumping away towards Professor Samuel Oak's laboratory.

"BYE MOM AND DAD!"

"LOVE YOU MARINETTE. . .

. . . BE CAREFUL!"

Sabine finished for Tom as they wave goodbye to their daughter, Milly waving both black hooves mooing. Blaziken seems to smile down at Marinette in his as well.
