Christmas Dreams-Ch 1

Over the next few weeks Derek and Penelope adjusted to their new relationship, they went from best friends to lovers to boyfriend and girlfriend and their family couldn't have been happier for them. Thanksgiving had been a wonderful time for Penelope this year, she had never dreamed that her life would have turned out this way, she never dreamed that she would be with Derek,that she would make love to Derek, that she would become his girlfriend but now that things are falling into place, she couldn't be happier.

It was the 15th of December, Christmas was getting closer and closer, the plans had already been set, the family was going to all meet at Dave and Fran's like they did every year, they would be staying there from the 23rd till at least the 26th so that they could celebrate the Christmas holiday together as one big happy family.

Penelope was in her lair, she smiled as she opened the top drawer again and pulled out that notebook, she picked up her pen and put a line through the first 2 wishes and said, "2 down and 3 to go". She knew that she wouldn't get any more of her wishes granted this year, there was no way that any of the other three would happen, at least not right now and as happy as she was right now, she could happily wait.

The team had been called away on a case on the 16th, Penelope said, "be safe and come back to me", he wrapped his arms around her and said, "always sweetness, always" before he joined the others on the elevator. Dave said, "don't worry kitten we'll be back home before you know it, don't forget we start our Christmas break on the 22nd and then everybody comes to our house from the 23rd till at least the 26th".

Penelope nodded her head and said, "I just hope that we can find this unsub and you can all get back home safely to me", JJ and Emily stepped off of the elevator and pulled the worried blonde into their arms. Emily said, "we'll be home before you know it, we still have shopping to do, remember?", Penelope smiled and nodded her head yes and watched as JJ and Emily rejoined the others on the elevator.

Before the doors closed they all smiled and waved at her, she blew out a deep breath and put on a happy face because she knew that he team would keep their promise, she knew that they would catch the baddie and come home to her. When the elevator carrying the team had started descending down to the parking garage she turned around and headed back toward her lair, she needed to do background checks on the victims to see if she could find anything that would help her team.

As Penelope was sitting behind her desk a few days later as victim after victim had been killed she wondered if they were ever gonna catch this sick freak, he needed to pay for killing all of those innocent people. Her computer dinged letting her know that her search was over, she hit a few keys and said, "gotcha", she hit speaker and number 1 and waited a few seconds for somebody to answer and when they did she heard he sexy voice of her boyfriend say, "whatcha got baby girl?", she grinned as she readied to fill the team in.

Penelope said, "well yours truly has found out the one thing that all of the victims had in common", Reid said, "and that was?", Penelope said, "they were all part of a huge settlement from an explosion from 5 years ago". JJ said, "how many people were involved?", Penelope said, "15 people settled out of court and 14 of them have already been killed" causing Emily to say, "what is the name of the last one PG?", Penelope said, "Grace Hillard, she works at the diner across the street from the police station".

Dave said,"you said that 15 people settled out of court but how many were involved in the explosion?", she said, "that would be 16 papa bear and the name of the 16th person is Brett Hayes". Derek smiled and said, "we need an address sweetness", she said, "already sent to your cells, be careful my team of super heroes", before ending the call Derek said, "always goddess, always", after hitting the speaker button to end the call she stood up but had to sit right back down.

She grabbed her head a she dried to control the dizziness and just when she got the dizziness under control a wave of nausea had hit causing her to grab her waste paper basket and empty the contents of her stomach into it. Penelope wiped her mouth and said, "maybe it's a virus?", she then grabbed her purse to get a mint to see if that would settle her stomach and her calendar fell out onto the desk and opened up.

Penelope looked down and saw that she hadn't had her period this month and she was always on time, month after month she always started on the 15th, always, she covered her mouth with her hand and said, "I can't be, I can't be pregnant". She then slid her hand down to her stomach and said, "can I?", she thought back to the night she made love to Derek on November 28th, she would forever remember that date.

She'd made love to Derek for the first time on November 28th and it was now December 21st so yes, yes it was possible, it was definitely possible that she could be pregnant right now, she sat there smiling and wondering if the many nights of passion she'd shared with her hotstuff had indeed resulted in a baby.

Penelope had decided that after she got the call from the team letting her know if they'd found the unsub or not she was going to the nearest pharmacy and grab a few pregnancy tests, then she would know one way or another if she was going to have a baby with the love of her life, if so that would be 3 things checked off of her list of Thanksgiving wishes and that, well that made her smile even more.
