Quirks... A miraculous gift of Mankind, a mystery that paused Human's scientific evolutionary track back hundreds of years. It all started when a young newborn in Qing Qing City, China started glowing, brightly, luminescent.
At first when word spread many debated it was the second coming of Jesus Christ or other godly figures, until many more children around the globe started getting these rare abilities. Some could move objects with their mind or turn their arms into ice, all relatively weak powers that would eventually make the descendants stronger and something out of a comic book or movie.
Although our story begins thirty three years later in Osaka, Japan.
Chapter 1: The Rise of the Dark and Light
It is a cold rainy day in Osaka, outside the Green Learner's Daycare one boy is protecting his sickly younger brother from some bullies.
"But it's not our fault that my daddy said he has some bad sickness that was give-able Hisachan" A short stumpy child with pitch black hair stated. "And I told you that you don't get to call me that anymore Ryu" This was stated by the older brother of the petrified child, he had snow white he had broad shoulders (broad for a six year old) and a smouldering glare sent a the smaller child.
The glare shook the short five year old so much that he ran of sporting a rivers worth of tears. "Are you alright little brother, are you hurt anywhere" asked the older brother with a look that one could only describe as absolute fear.
With a sniff the younger boy whimpered "Yeah but my comic was ruined, big brother". He looked two seconds away from crying until his brother grinned and spouted "Don't worry Yoichan, any bully won't stop us from getting powers like in the news and stopping baddies"
"Yeah we will save people like Action-man or something" the timid boy spoke in a befitting tone for his title.
"Shigaraki Hisashi, Shigaraki Yoichi come on where going home now!" A ladies voice was heard yelling.
SNAP
'Why couldn't you listen little brother' A man in the suit began solemnly whilst staring at the remains of his retractable pen in his adult palms.
This man was now recognised as the Dark Lord: All For One, the man was bald with the upper half of his face being skin and having to be hooked up to many life support machines.
"My lord it seems subject SP-616 has escaped" a old voice came through a radio.
"Well no matter so if we can make another right Doctor Garaki..." All For One who was albeit a tad disappointed in the doctor but he would not act, that doctor of his was extremely loyal and brilliant, a massive impressive hammer for his problematic nails if you will.
"Unfortunately I could not scavenge the DNA from the subject quick enough my lord" The doctor informed audible nervousness coming through from the radio.
"Shame, although based on your theories it should kill any person it bites correct doctor?" The evil mastermind asked inquisitively.
"Yes my lord" Garaki replied.
"Good, you know what to do then"

Drop Drop Drop
Tear stains riddled the letter sent from UA, The UA, every child's hopes and dreams...
'You damn Deku will never become a hero'
'I'm sorry Izuku'
'Why don't you take a swan dive of the roof of the building and hope to be born with a Quirk in your next life'
'I'm sorry young man, it's fine to have dreams but make sure they are realistic'
'They were all right' The depressed thought Izuku Midoriya kept repeating to himself all night long as he lied down in his barren room, nothing but some hero Merch, a computer and some books.
'Dammit... Why couldn't I have been born with a Quirk? Why does my life hate me so much?' Izuku wailed in his mind.
'I just wanted to help'
'why do I even bother anymore?'
One Month Later...
"All right class, welcome to our second day I hope you have introduced yourself to our school, now let's start with the roll!" Midoriya's enthusiastic teacher called out to the class.
"Daisuke Joburo?"
"Present..."
"Eneru Hode?"
"Present"
"Fumi Taiko?"
"Present Sensei!!"
.
.
.
Izuku looked boringly outside the window seeing the Sun shine right onto some birds, it was a nice sight, Izuku couldn't help but smile it was honestly calmi-
"Midoriya Izuku?"
"Present.." Izuku spat out emotionlessly. If you were asking him he just couldn't be bothered with high school. Even after trying to convince his Mum to let him homeschool, he wasn't allowed. He couldn't have one good thing if you were asking him.
School was boring for the rest of the day, he wrote down his notes, answered when asked, and continued without a care in the world.
He should be grateful that the school had a strict policy on bullying and Quirk discrimination, definitely a refresher from the hell hole that was Aldera.
'Endor Public High, definitely a good school just very plain' he thought sourly. It was definitely forgettable, the one thing that usually attracted parents was the good work ethics of everyone, staff and students alike.
'It's no UA' he sighed dejectedly.
Two Days had passed since and it was 3:45 pm on a Wednesday.
As Izuku continued walking home he stopped by Dagobah Municipal Beach, one a lush paradise until a mixture of the tide, littering and neglect. As he walked over slowly rummaging through the electronics. Izuku had recently found himself a prodigy when it came to electronics and robotics, and while it made for a good pass time, to him he still preferred Chemistry.
'Hmm let's see... Oo~ a PCB, some circuits, a shower nozzle, some spare metals, some other wires and some others spare parts.' He pondered of his loot as he washed of each, non-electric item in the Sea, placed them all in a plastic bag that he brought from home, tied it, placed it in his bag and walked home.
Little did Midoriya Izuku knew, a little bug hitched a ride.
"Hey Mum I am home!" Izuku shouted out to receive a hum and a curt nod as Midoriya Inko was too busy with the small families dinner. As they sat down and ate in awkward silence Inko asked her son a question.
"So... Izuku.. How was school?"
"Ok" The fast response came out like it was muscle memory. "Honey we need to talk"
"Sure..."
Inko sighed at the response and quickly got on with the conversation. "Izuku I know how badly you wanted to be a hero... to help people bu-"
"You don't know me at all, stop acting like you do." Izuku snapped a shocked Inko. She gained an expression that closely resembled a kicked puppy.
"You can still help others, like volunteering jobs for the homeless or may-maybe bein-"
"NO!" He shouted tears straining his eyes, he was extremely hurt. Why hadn't she supported him! That was her job!
"NO, You listen to me Midoriya Izuku! I'm done suggesting, if you want to help be like your father, he used to say if you have the power to do something right, it is your obligation to do those things, Great power comes great responsibility."
SLAM
Izuku slammed his fist on the table stood up. "If he is such a good guy then where is he huh?". He then put on his coat and shoes and stormed right out the door, unable to notice the spider crawling towards his neck.
Inko looking hurt would be an understatement.
"IZUKU!!" She shouted and with that grabbed her shoes, and phone and ran out the door.
"That'll be one thousand yen." The clerk nonchalantly told Izuku as Izuku put nine hundred and ninety yen on the counter.
"That's not enough" He pointed out with a snarl, Izuku gained an upset look "It's only ten yen"
"Oh did Mummy and Daddy not give their precious enough allowance? Grow up like the rest of us cuz that's not my policy pal, either pay full like everyone else or get out" He firmly mocked as Izuku picked up a ten yen coin out of a donation cup and placed it on the counter, which was then placed back into the cup.
"Kid, it's donate ten yen not take ten yen" Izuku scoffed grabbed his money and walked away, as Izuku was about to leave he saw a sketchy guy walk to the counter, he had dirty dyed blonde hair, he was ugly and looked like he was in his mid life crisis stage. Izuku ignored him for the most part until he heard "Hey pal what's your problem!" The clerk spat as he angrily picked up the mints 'accidentally' tossed on the floor. Izuku spotted the man taking all the bills out of the register, he paused as his eyes passed over Izuku, he smirked under his dusty tinted sunglasses as he threw the forgotten bottle of chocolate milk at Izuku, he caught it and said nothing. The man passed Izuku running out the store onto the streets. "HEY STOP HIM!!" The fat clerk screamed.
"Hey you damn brat, why didn't you stop him!" The clerk shouted at Izuku.
"Not my policy pal" as the clerk ran after the guy and Izuku walked out the door with his newly acquired chocolate milk in hand as the clerk abandoned his station screaming into the streets "SOMEBODY STOP THAT GUY! CALL A HERO!"
Sukame Sumihiko ran glad that the kid in the store didn't even attempt to stop him, he didn't want a dead kid on his conscious, as the shouts we slowly getting farther and farther away. He tripped of a crack, landing flat on his face as his gun spewed onto the cold concrete. He got up just in time to see a middle aged lady attempted to tackle him away from the gun.
Inko Midoriya saw the gun and tackled the man trying to get up, but it happened so fast she didn't notice him grabbing the gun of the ground and instinctually pulling the trigger, as a resounding bang sounded out, he then continued running, not even glancing back at her dying body.
As Izuku chucked his empty milk bottle in the bin, he heard a shot, and as naturally curious humans are he walked towards it, then he saw a body, and people starting to crowd around, he peeked over someone's shoulder and saw.
"MUM!!"
He barged through the ever forming crowd, and ran to her.
"Come on, Come on stay with me, please, stay with me" His voice was horse and he sounded like an old smoker. Tears funnelled down his eyes, he felt like such a disappointment, everything he did messed up in someway and now his mum was paying the price.
"CALL AN AMBULANCE, SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE" it was getting harder and harder to see, his eyes were filled with moist cold tears, he was panicking, and hyperventilating some much that, he didn't notice that she was dead when he got there.
"Kid you got any relatives around or..." The officer in the front of the car trailed of paying more attention on the road.
"No."
"Ok then kid we will just take ya to the station get some ID and other stuff" The officer confirmed continuing to drive. As they stopped at an intersection Izuku felt a sharp sensation on the backside of his hand and remembered the spider from earlier.
Izuku ignored it he was too distressed about the situation as a whole, he eyes were swollen red, his voice was croaky his hair was messier than usual.
"Katsuki, be nice you damn brat" Mitsuki Bakugo yelled from the dining room as she poured the nice police officer some tea.
"Then tell Deku to get the fuck outta my room!" He screeched as a few explosive pops were let out before he slammed his door. Katsuki Bakugo turned around to look at the fucking shitter on his bed. He grimaced, even after bullying Deku for over ten years the nerd never looked as lost and traumatised as he did now.
"Oi nerd, what happened?" He asked genuinely concerned, he was a asshole but not a prick, he had compassion (barely any) and whatever other shitty sappy human emotions he had.
Izuku just stared at the floor, face completely devoid of emotions, he looked like shit. "She's dead" he uttered out monotonously
"And it's my fault"
This is not my first story (I would rather not rekindle those memories) so hopefully this is an acceptable chapter, please feel free for criticism ( of the constructive variety as I lack self esteem).
I worked for like a month getting this chapter going, I have the story planned out but I'm glad this is done, after all it's probably more difficult to start a story rather than finish it.
Thank you for reading and until next chapter
