'Twas the week before Christmas and in a certain dorm room of Vale University, Jaune Arc – dressed in a yellow shirt, red jacket, blue jeans and a pair of white sneakers - was currently pacing his room up and down with a look in his eyes that was a mix of panic and fear.

"What do I do, what do I do, what do I do?!" Jaune asked himself over and over before turning to face the room's other occupant. Wearing a green long-sleeved sweater, a pair of white pants and a pair of glasses, that was none other than Lie Ren, Jaune's best friend since they were freshman together in high school and now college roomate, "Ren, you're a smart guy, right?"

"I'd like to think that I am." Ren said, the young man continuing to read the book in his hands even when Jaune shook him by his shoulders.

"Enough with the riddles, man!" Jaune shouted into Ren's face, "I need your help to tell me what to do!"

"And what, exactly, do you need my help with, Jaune?" Ren asked, the young man closing his book shut before facing his roommate and best friend of five years.

"I need your help to figure out what present I'm going to get Cinder for Christmas next week!" Jaune exclaimed as he violently shook Ren back and forth.

"Okay, first," Ren said as he gripped Jaune by his wrists, "Would be to stop trying to scramble my brain and secondly, have you thought about going shopping at the mall? I heard that's a good place to start as any."

"Oh, wow. Really, Ren? Going shopping? Why haven't I thought of that before?" Jaune shot back, "Only problem is that there's too many things to choose from. Do I buy her new clothes? No because my fashion sense is terrible. Do I buy her a new perfume? No because those things are crazy expensive-

"-and you would be implying that she smells bad." Ren added.

"-and I would be implying my girlfriend stinks. Exactly." Jaune said with a nod, "So, now do you understand the dilemma I'm currently facing?"

"I do and frankly, Jaune, I can't help you." Ren said as he turned away from his blonde roommate, "Or rather, I won't."

"What? Why not?" Jaune asked with a look of genuine shock.

"Well, for one thing, finals are in two weeks and I really cannot afford to fail my class." Ren said.

"Ren, I've known you since the first day of high school and I've never seen your marks go below and A+ much less a failing grade." Jaune said as he patted his best friend on the back, "I'd bet my left kidney that you're not going to fail this class."

"Jaune, anything less than an A+ is a fail for me so, once again, I apologize." Ren said as he took a seat in front of his desk, "I really must get back to studying for the final exam."

"I see. I understand how important this is to you and therefore, I shall leave you to your studies." Jaune said.

"Thank you, Jaune. I appreciate-" Ren started to say before quickly turning his head around to face his best friend with suspicion in his eyes, "Wait, you don't normally give up that easily. Something's off and I don't like it."

"I'm not sure what you mean." Jaune said as he locked gazes with his roommate.

"No, I get the feeling that something's about to happen." Ren said as he narrowed his eyes at the blonde standing a few feet before him, "Something terrible and somehow, you're going to be responsible for it."

"Ren, please, how long have we known each other? Too long." Jaune said, quickly answering his own question before Ren could offer up his own, "And in that time, I've never ever – not once – did anything to jeopardize your academic standing here at college or high school."

Ren was about to respond to his best friend's statement before there was a loud knock on the door of their dorm room.

"Jaune, open up! Mama's here and she's here to play!" came a familiar voice that caused Ren's eyes to widen in terror.

"You invited Nora to our dorm?!" Ren asked, the young man trying his best to contain his voice in a whisper.

"What? No, of course not. Doing so would obviously destroy any sort of chance you had to actually concentrate on your studying." Jaune said.

"Then why is she here right now?" Ren asked with a skeptical look etched on his face.

"It's Nora. The day anybody figures out a reason behind anything she does is the day I win the lottery." Jaune said, a chuckle escaping his lips as he made his way towards the door.

"Hello?! You guys in there or what?!" Nora shouted from the other side of the door.

"No, wait, don't open it!" Ren shouted out.

"Now that would just be incredibly rude, Ren. Honestly, I thought you were better than this." Jaune said, shaking his head at his best friend before opening the door with a wide smile, "Nora, you made it!"

"I thought you didn't know Nora was coming over?" Ren commented from the back.

"I never said that." Jaune said just before receiving a bear hug from a young woman who was a full head shorter than him but twice as strong.

"Merry Christmas, Jauney!" Nora shouted out, the young woman wearing a pink jacket over a green shirt, a red skirt and a pair of orange sneakers.

"Christmas is still a week out, Nora." Ren said, the boy doing his best to hide how happy he was at his girlfriend's unexpected appearance.

"Silly Renny, it's December." Nora said, the young woman letting go of Jaune before dismissing Ren's concerns away with a wave, "Which means it's Christmas every day."

"Can't argue with that logic." Jaune said with a nod.

"Even if you tried to argue, you'd lose." A new voice said before the trio were joined by a young woman a grey beanie, a dark red sweater, a pair of black pants and a pair of black shoes.

"Hey, Rubes. How's it going?" Jaune said as the two of them fist bumped each other.

"Oh, you know… Trying to study for finals before Nora came crashing through the door and dragged me here." Ruby said with a chuckle, "So, you know… The usual…"

"Ruby, I told you. It's an emergency." Nora said, "We need all hands on deck. By the way, where's Pyrrha?"

"She said she had basketball practice to get to." Jaune said, "Sounded kind of important so I didn't feel right forcing her to be here."

"But you're fine with interrupting me from my studies?" Ren asked as he looked at both Jaune and Nora.

"Pretty much." Jaune said with Nora standing beside him, nodding her head along with neither of them looking the least bit sorry at the current situation.

"If it makes you feel any better, I brought snacks." Ruby said, the young woman offering some food bought from the convenience store. Letting out a defeated sigh, Ren simply accepted her offer before taking a seat on the edge of his bed.

"Alright, now that everyone's here, what's the big emergency, boss man?" Nora asked as she shut the door behind her.

"Right yes… The big emergency…" Jaune started to say, the blonde looking at his friends gathered inside his dorm room, "Guys, there's only a week left until Christmas and I still haven't picked out the perfect gift for Cinder. I need all of your help to figure out what I should get her."

Silence reigned for a few seconds before Ruby became the first one to speak up.

"That's it? That's the big emergency you kidnapped me for, Nora?" Ruby asked as she sent a death glare at the young woman in question.

"Uh… It was Jaune's idea…?" Nora replied, shrinking under her roommate's gaze.

"Rubes, I get why you're frustrated but this is totally a big deal." Jaune countered.

"Really? How so?" Ruby asked with crossed arms as she stared at the blonde with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, for one thing, it's going to be our first Christmas together! I can't screw this up!" Jaune said as she clutched his head in worry, "I mean, have you seen Cinder Fall?"

"Uh, is that a trick question because who hasn't?" Nora asked with a snort, "That woman has got creamy legs that could go on for days."

"Exactly." Jaune said, "I mean, just this month alone, she's averaging two to three love confessions a week! It's crazy! Not even Yang and Pyrrha combined get that many confessions!"

"And you're worried she's going to say yes to any of those guys?" Ren asked.

"Well… maybe…?" Jaune said as he looked around the room.

"Why do you think that?" Ruby asked.

"Have you seen me?" Jaune asked as he gestured to himself, "I don't even have the slightest clue how I started going out with Cinder Fall in the first place. I'm afraid if I so much as sneeze wrong that this whole thing is going to fall apart. That's why I need your help – all of your help – to figure out what the best gift I could give to her for your first Christmas."

"Well, you do have a point. I mean, Jaune Arc going out with the Cinder Fall?" Ruby said, "I'm not one for socializing but even a clueless dork like me can figure out she's probably the most popular girl in college."

"Exactly. Thank you, Ruby." Jaune said as he sent a grateful nod to the young woman, "So, will you guys help me out here?"

"Have you thought about going to the mall?" Ruby asked, "Go for a walk or something. I'm sure you'll find something eventually."

"I have been to the mall, actually. Multiple malls." Jaune said, "Problem is, there's just so much to choose from that I can't figure out which one I should get. Plus, I'm a broke college student with barely any money left for food much less an expensive present."

"Oh, oh! Me, me! Pick me! I have an idea!" Nora shouted, the young woman bouncing on her feet with her hand raised.

"Yes, you. The ginger in the front row." Jaune said as he pointed at Nora.

"You could build a statue of her and display it at the entrance of the college. You could even carve your initials on it." Nora said, "That way, everyone who sees it will know that she's your girlfriend and she won't be bother by anymore confessions of love."

"Okay, life-size statue is a start but maybe we could move to something smaller?" Jaune asked.

"What about if you make her a customized playlist on Spotify?" Ren asked, "It's simple to do and most importantly, free."

"That's… an idea but I think we were closer with Nora's suggestion." Jaune said, "So, let's aim for something bigger. Anyone?"

"You could try cooking for her." Ruby suggested, "I know mom loves it whenever does that, especially when it's for special occasions like this."

"Ruby, are you tired of living?" Nora asked.

"What? No. Why?" Ruby asked, confused at her roommates' question.

"Because Jaune is a terrible cook. The guy is talented at many things but food is not one of them." Nora said before turning to face the man in question, "No offence, Jauney."

"No, no. You're right. I'm terrible at cooking." Jaune said.

"I mean, I still have nightmares about the last time he made me breakfast." Nora said, "It's so bad that I wake up in a cold sweat sometimes."

"Alright, Nora, I think she gets it." Jaune said, cutting her off.

"Jaune, let me ask you something: Do you love her?" Ren asked.

"I do. Gods help me, Ren, I love her. It might be premature of me to say it but I love her." Jaune said, a look of longing in his eyes, "I want to spend the rest of my days with her. Get married, build a house by a lake, start a family, and grow old together."

"Then that's your answer." Ren said.

"What do you mean?" Jaune asked, tilting his head at his roommate.

"People often say that it doesn't matter what kind of present you buy for someone you love," Ren said, "That it's the thought that counts and I believe that saying applies to your current situation."

"Oh, well… When you put it that way-"

"Or, alternatively," Nora said, cutting off what Jaune was about to say, "You can go all the way and do the most romantic of all romantic gestures."

"Which is…?" Ruby asked on behalf of Jaune.

"There's this famous lake in Mistral with a bridge going over it, right? Anyway, people all over the world have been going to this bridge to carve their names on padlocks, lock them on the bridge before throwing the keys into the river." Nora said, the young woman's excitement growing with every word, "I'm thinking we take this a step further."

"I'm terrified to ask but how do we take your idea a step further, Nora?" Ren asked with a slight hint of amusement in his eyes.

"Well, for starters, Jaune could take out all the locks from the bridge one by one and replace them with locks that bear his and Cinder's name." Nora said, "That way, instead of being just a normal "love bridge", it would become a love bridge solely dedicated to you and Cinder."

"Nora, that sounds-" Jaune started to say before he was once again interrupted by Nora, the young woman seemingly lost in her own fantasies.

"To take it a step further, you could carve a bunch of statues of Cinder with each statue doing a different pose." Nora said.

"Okay, well… We've obviously lost Nora." Ruby said as she let out a tired sigh before turning to face Jaune, "You guys can go, if you want. It'll be another hour before Nora finally comes back to reality."

"That's a very conservative prediction, Ruby, but thank you. We'll take you up on your offer." Ren said, the young man picking up his pink-colored scarf from his bed before wrapping it around his neck, "Come on, Jaune."

"Where are we going?" Jaune asked, the blonde putting on a red snow hat as Nora continued rambling on in the background.

"To the mall." Ren said, "Maybe a second set of eyes will finally help you pick out the perfect gift."

Their piece said, Jaune then closed the door behind him, leaving Ruby all to her lonesome in their dorm with an increasingly excited Nora.

[~]

"So, has anything caught your eye yet?" Ren asked as he and Jaune did their best to navigate through the crowd of people at the mall who were most likely in the same predicament.

"No." Jaune said, a sigh leaving his lips as he hung his head low.

"Well, cheer up. We've only been through half the shops here." Ren said as he patted his best friend on the back, "I'm sure we'll run into something worthwhile eventually."

"It's not like there wasn't anything that looked like it would be a great present." Jaune said before jerking a thumb to somewhere behind him, "There was that really nice dress that I thought she would love but it cost three-hundred Lien. I mean, seriously?! What kind of dress costs that much money? Is it made of diamonds?! Does it give you special powers?! Does it-?!"

"Okay, okay. Calm down, Jaune. Losing your mind isn't going to help you come to a decision any better." Ren said, "Let's get some brain food. Maybe that'll help.

"Frozen yogurt?" Jaune asked.

"Frozen yogurt." Ren said with a nod, "My treat."

It didn't take the two college students long to finally reach their destination. Once they did, however, a look of disappointment etched itself on both of their faces.

"Sure are a lot of people today." Jaune thought aloud as he and Ren scanned the area for a place to sit. Just as they were about to give up and leave, however, they both heard a familiar voice calling out their names.

"Jaune! Ren! Over here!"

Seated around a table not far from where they were both standing, Jaune saw a young woman with golden blonde hair wearing a brown bomber jacket over a pink shirt, a pair of black pants and a pair of brown sneakers.

Across from her was another young woman with fiery red hair tied into a ponytail. She was wearing a black blazer over a green shirt, a pair of jean shorts, knee-high socks and a pair of red shoes.

"Yang? Pyrrha" Jaune blurted out, the blonde not expecting to meet the two of them there.

"Hey there, boys." Yang said with a wink as he and Ren approached their table, "Care to keep a couple of lonely beauties like us company?"

"Don't mind if we do." Jaune sat, the blonde plopping down on the seat beside her before Ren took the seat opposite of him, "Hey, Pyr. I thought the two of you were busy with club stuff?"

"We were but then our captain decided to end it early." Pyrrha said, "She told us something about enjoying our springtime of youth or something like that."

"Hmm… She sounds like a smart woman, this team captain of yours." Yang said as she nodded along to Pyrrha's words.

"Well, I wouldn't go that far." Pyrrha said, the young woman rolling her eyes at the blonde's words with a light chuckle before turning her attention back to Jaune and Ren, "So, just the two of you? No Nora or Cinder?"

"Nora's busy doing… Nora stuff." Ren said.

"Understandable." Yang said.

"And Cinder's busy studying for her finals." Jaune added as he let out a disappointed sigh, "I invited her out today but she said she had planned to study for the rest of the evening."

"Well, she is on her final year, after all." Pyrrha said with a reassuring smile, "Can hardly blame her."

"I guess you're right." Jaune said with a dejected tone.

"So, what brought the two of you out here today?" Yang asked.

"Well, Jaune here is having trouble with choosing a Christmas gift for his girlfriend." Ren said, "And apparently, that task is difficult enough that he needs my help to do it."

"Yang? What about you?" Jaune asked, "What are you planning on giving Blake? Maybe your gift will give me an idea or two."

"There's this book that Blake really likes, The Velveteen Rabbit." Yang said, "Apparently, it was her favorite book as a kid and I, being the awesome girlfriend that I am, managed to track down the original author and get her to autograph the copy I bought for her."

"Wow. That's actually… pretty amazing. I'm impressed, Yang." Jaune said, amazed at the young woman's thoughtful gift, "How'd you managed to find the original author, anyway?"

"My Uncle Qrow arranged the meeting, actually." Yang said, "Apparently, they're old friends or something. Either way, works out for me and now I don't have anything to worry about."

"You know, I half-expected you to offer Blake yourself a present or something." Ren said.

"That was my first plan. On Christmas, I was going to tie myself up with ribbons and hide in a box, waiting for Blake to open it." Yang said, "I asked Weiss to help tie me up as a sort of practice run but then she screamed my head off and now I'm on to Plan B."

"Blake should honestly be thanking me for that." A new voice said as a tray of three bowls of frozen yogurt was suddenly slammed in front of them. The owner of the voice was a young woman with snow-white hair tied into a ponytail wearing a white jacket over a light blue dress with a pair of white heels.

"Took your sweet time, didn't you, Weiss-cream?" Yang asked with a snort as she picked up a bowl of frozen yogurt, "Had us waiting here forever."

"You know this is my treat, right?" Weiss asked, raising her eyebrow at the blonde as she took a seat next to Pyrrha, "I could have just as easily left you guys here and went back, you know?"

"Ah, you love us too much to do that and you know it." Yang said, a smug smile etched on her face as Weiss looked away with a huff, "Which reminds me, you guys are coming for my Christmas party, right? At my uncle's house?"

"You're sure your uncle is going to be gone by then?" Jaune asked as he and Pyrrha shared a bowl of frozen yogurt.

"Positive. He, my dad, and my mom are going on a trip to Vacuo for the week." Yang said, "Told me I could bring a bunch of friends to hang out provided I don't end up thrashing the place."

"Yeah, good luck with that." Jaune said, snorting at the very idea, "I'd bet my left kidney the place ends up thrashed before the next morning."

"You know, I should feel insulted by that but instead, I just feel an overwhelming sense of pride." Yang said as the two blondes shared a laugh.

"Um, Jaune? Aren't you kind of forgetting why we came here in the first place?" Ren asked, earning a confused look from his roommate before his eyes widened in realization.

"That's right! Cinder's present!" Jaune shouted out, earning looks of surprise from those around him as he turned his focus to Weiss, "Weiss, long story short, I need help picking out a gift for Cinder. It's our first Christmas together and I really need something to impress her."

"Oh, uh… Well, I can't speak for Cinder but if you're trying to impress a lady, then my suggestion would be to buy her something nice, like a new purse or a handbag." Weiss said.

"Wow, Weiss, I didn't take you to be the materialistic type." Yang said.

"I'm not!" Weiss cried out in protest, "It's just… I don't know Cinder very well and just suggested the first thing that came to mind."

"Well, Jaune? Are those things good enough to impress your girlfriend?" Ren asked.

"Hmmm… no, I don't think so." Jaune said, "She's… never been one to obsess over stuff like that ever since I met her."

"Then we're back to square one." Yang said before she snapped her fingers, "I got it! The two of you should totally go on a weekend getaway together. Like Vacuo. I hear it's nice this time of year. You could rent a room for a night or two, make her breakfast in bed, enjoy the local sights and then when it's night, the two of you start to get busy "not sleeping", if you know what I mean."

"Yang, that's nice and all but you're forgetting one important detail." Jaune said.

"Oh, yeah? What's that?" Yang asked.

"I'm a broke college student." Jaune said, the blonde deflating at his own statement, "I barely have enough money to afford the cab ride back to the dorms much less a flight out of Vale."

"That's true." Yang said as she looked around the table, "Well, I'm stumped. How about you guys? Any bright ideas?"

"Jaune, it's simple. You really, really like Cinder, don't you?" Pyrrha asked as Jaune responded with a nod, "And do you believe she feels the same way?"

"I do… At least, I hope she does." Jaune said before shaking his head, "No, I'm positive that she likes me just as much as I like her."

"Then I believe the answer before you is as straightforward as they come." Pyrrha said as she placed a comforting hand on the blonde's shoulder, "It really doesn't matter what you get her – whether you buy it or make it yourself – that as long as you pour all of your heart into it, I know she's going to love it."

It took Jaune a few seconds to process the young woman's words before he finally spoke.

"Wow, you're… you're right, Pyr." Jaune said as he abruptly stood up, "I know what I'm going to get her now. Thanks, guys, you've been a huge help."

"You're leaving now?" Yang asked.

"Yup. Christmas is only a week away and I really want to get this done in time." Jaune said.

"Calm down, lover boy. No need to rush things." Yang said, "At least have another bowl of frozen yogurt. It's Weiss's treat, after all. Right, Weiss?"

"Sure, why not?" Weiss said with a shrug.

"Wait, really? I was just joking." Yang asked, a look of surprise etched on her face.

"Of course. Besides, we're friends and it is the season of giving, after all." Weiss said before turning to Jaune, "So, Jaune, will you be staying? Next round of frozen yogurt is on me."

"Well, when you put it that way…" Jaune said as he sat back down, the blonde much more composed than a few seconds ago, "How could I resist?"

[Christmas Day]

Wearing a bright red sweater, a snow cap, a pair of dark blue jeans, and carrying a carefully wrapped gift under his arm, Jaune carefully walked across the icy pavement before he finally reached his destination. The door in front of him, however, quickly opened before he had a chance to knock on it.

"Hey, Jaune! You finally made it!" Yang shouted, her face flushed red. Wearing a red sweater littered with Christmas themed symbols, a pair of black pants, and a red scarf around her neck, the blonde proceeded to give her new guest a sloppy hug, "Come in, come in! The gang's all here."

"The gang and a few extras." Jaune said as he stepped foot inside Yang's uncle's house, "Was that Cardin and the rest of his goons I saw in your backyard?"

"Yup." Yang said, closing the door behind them as she led Jaune deeper into the house.

"Why? I thought you hated the guy?" Jaune asked as they stepped into the kitchen where a few others guests had already gathered.

"Oh, Jaune. Don't you know Christmas is all about forgiving and forgetting?" Yang asked, the blonde fishing out a bottle of beer from her fridge before tossing it to Jaune.

"If you were anyone else, I'd believe you but Yang Xiao-Long is not one to forget or forgive." Jaune said as he opened the bottle of beer in his hand, "You're up to something, aren't you?"

"I will neither deny nor confirm that." Yang said, a sheepish smile on her face before she pointed to someone behind him, "Besides, there's someone here who's been waiting impatiently for you."

Turning around, Jaune's confused expression quickly morphed into a sweet smile at the young woman that was approaching him. Wearing a red blouse with tiny snowmen decorations, a black skirt, and a pair of red sneakers, Cinder Fall never failed to make his heart dance.

"Hey there, handsome." Cinder said as she caressed his cheek, "You do like to keep a girl waiting, don't you?"

"Heh, sorry about that." Jaune said as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Bad weather, slow traffic and all that."

"Giving out excuses now?" Cinder asked in a teasing tone that had him stuttering, "My, someone's just itching to get on the naughty list, aren't they?"

"No, that wasn't… I just…" Jaune sputtered out as Cinder let out a soft laugh.

"It's okay, Jaune. I was only teasing." Cinder said as the couple shared a kiss, "Although, if you want my forgiveness, then how about that present you have on you?"

"Sheesh, get a room, you two." Yang commented from the side, her bottle of beer nearly empty.

"You know, I think we just might." Jaune said, rolling his eyes at Yang before grabbing Cinder's hand, "Come on, I want to give you your present without nosy blondes around us making snide comments."

Taken aback by her boyfriend's sudden request, Cinder could only trail after him with a smile as the blonde led her up the stairs and onto a balcony.

"This is a lovely view you've brought me to." Cinder said, the young woman placing her hands on the railing as she took in a breath of fresh air before slowly exhaling, "And the air is nice and cold, just how I like it."

"I thought you were more of a summer type of gal?" Jaune asked, the blonde leaning on the railing as he took a mental picture of his girlfriend.

"Well, I can't possibly wear a swimsuit in this weather, can I?" Cinder said, "Disappointed?"

"You? Disappoint me?" Jaune asked as he pulled Cinder in close, their lips mere centimeters from touching, "Never."

"You have a way with words today, Jaune." Cinder said before the two of them finally locked lips. The act lasted a few seconds short of a minute before the both of them broke away, "Or is this just who you naturally are?"

"Who can say?" Jaune asked before he pulled away even further, "But before that, I'd like to give you your present, if you don't mind."

"Not at all. I'm very eager to see what you have for me." Cinder said as Jaune picked up the nicely wrapped gift behind him before handing it to her.

"It's… not much but I did make it myself. I hope you like it." Jaune said as Cinder quickly unwrapped her gift to find a red scarf. Taking it out and fully unfurling it, Cinder was surprised to see a symbol of a rabbit's head in the middle of a flame symbol in the middle of the scarf.

"Jaune, this… I don't know what to say." Cinder said as she admired her gift, "You say you made this yourself?"

"Yup. Saphron, my older sister, taught me how to knit when I was a kid. As it turns out, I was pretty good at it." Jaune said with a hint of pride in his voice, "I was going to knit you a sweater but a week really isn't enough time for that."

"And the rabbit in the middle of the flame…" Cinder said, her sentence trailing, "Your favorite animal is a rabbit and I told you once that my favorite element is fire. You remembered?"

"Of course. I could never forget a single moment with you." Jaune said with a chuckle.

"That is… the sweetest and cheesiest thing anyone has ever said to me." Cinder said, laughing lightly as she wrapped the scarf around her neck, "So, how do I look?"

"Beautiful as always." Jaune said as the couple shared another kiss. As they broke away, Jaune noticed a mistletoe hanging above the door leading into the house, "Oh, hey. Mistletoe. You know what that means, right?"

"I do." Cinder said before she pulled him in for another kiss, this one lasting as long as the first one. Eventually, the pair broke away as they locked gazes, "Well, shall we-?"

"I love you, Cinder Fall." Jaune suddenly blurted out, the blonde taking a moment to take a deep breath before continuing, "Look, I know that was sudden and you don't have to say it back but I just wanted to-"

"I love you, too, Jaune Arc." Cinder said, the young woman placing a finger on Jaune's lips to silence him. Pulling her finger back, the couple then shared one more passionate kiss before finally rejoining Yang's Christmas party.

[One-Shot END]

A/N: And that's a wrap for the Knightfall 2023 Christmas One-Shot. I really hope y'all enjoy this because I loved writing every single word of this. I initially planned for a 4,500 word one-shot but I guess ideas kept pouring in. With that being said, I only have one more thing to say:

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
