(Beacon Academy - Kingdom Of Vale)
Currently it was just another typical day in the Kingdom of Vale. The citizens of the Kingdom were living their best lives, all the lives you can live Best buy when you're constantly surrounded by monsters that would love nothing more than the destroy everything humanity has worked on known as the creatures of Grimm.
That is one of the many reasons why many of the buildings of the capital city were built around Beacon Academy, the elite huntsman school that trains huntsman, the protectors of humanity from the creatures of Grimm. Many business owners decided to build their businesses around the school, because they would literally have an army of aspiring huntsman ready to defend the kingdom if necessary, and by proxy their businesses.
Unfortunately for many business owners, they would need to start hiring professional huntsman for the job as it was the end of the first semester for Beacon Academy, meaning a lot of students were about to go home or places they wanted to go to for the break.
This was the case for sister teams the consisted of team RWBY and team JNPR.
Currently all eight teenagers were getting ready to leave the school for the next couple of weeks, well... six of them at least.
"Ahh, I can't find my toothbrush."complains Ruby Rose, leader of team RWBY and the youngest student to enter being an academy, at the age of 15.
"It's over there."responded Weiss Schnee, the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, the largest producers of the rare mineral known as Dust.
"Thank you."said an appreciative Ruby as she went over and grabbed her toothbrush.
"Why did you leave your toothbrush in such an area?"inquired Blake Belladonna, former member of the White Fang, and current member of team RWBY.
"Because Yang will sometimes use my toothbrush if I'm not careful."said Ruby as she pointed at her sister.
"Yeah... sometimes I'm grogging in the morning and I don't exactly pay attention to whose toothbrush I'm grabbing."admitted Yang Xiao Long, Ruby's older sister and the muscle of team RWBY.
"Gross!"said Weiss, who made a mental note of keeping her toothbrush close to her, otherwise the brute known as Yang may accidentally use it.
"Yang, are you serious?"inquired Blake, wondering why her partner was being so disgusting.
"What? It's not my fault I'm not a morning person."said Yang in her own defense.
"You get used to it the longer you live with her. Anyway, are you sure you're going to be okay staying here Blake?"inquired Ruby, who knew that Blake was one of the few students who decided to stay behind at Beacon during the break.
"I'm going to be fine. I can't exactly go home anyway."said Blake, as she hasn't talked to her parents in a very long time, and doesn't even know how to start apologizing for all the wrong she's done.
"Our offered to come with us to Patch still stands."said Yang, as she and Ruby offered Blake a chance to come with them for the break.
"I'll he fine. Besides, you said your dad is looking forward to your daddy daughter time."pointed out Blake.
"Ah, don't remind us."said Ruby."I can already tell he's going to limit my cookie privileges."
"That's because he cares, Ruby. And at least he's not limiting your video game time like me."said Yang, who knew that her father can be strict at times, especially when his daughters had bad habits like spending too much time playing video games and eating too much chocolate chip cookies.
"I'm not looking forward to spending time with my father, but if I want to keep my allowance, I have no choice but to go home."said Weiss, who wasn't looking forward to going home as she and her father had a strained relationship at best.
"Are you sure you're not going to be lonely, Blake?"inquired Ruby, who knew that only a handful of students was staying behind, and felt like Blake would get lonely without them.
"Jaune is staying behind. If I ever feel like I need to talk to someone, maybe I'll give him a chance."said Blake, feeling like The Dork Knight could make good company.
"I don't know... I mean outside of assignments I've never seen you guys talk."pointed out Yang, who knew that Jaune and Blake weren't exactly close friends.
"Maybe this is a chance to get to know each other better."said Blake, something no one could argue with as she did make a good point.
Suddenly, the young man in question quickly answered their room and close the door behind him, holding on to the door with his back like his life depended on it.
"Jaune, what are you doing?"inquired Weiss, wanting to know what the annoying guy who had a crush on her wanted.
"Nora got her hands on some sugary maple syrup and I'm right now hiding... let's just say she's using Ren like a battering ram right now."said Jaune, whose sweat indicated that he had just did something that made his body sweat a lot.
"Who in their right mind gave her maple syrup?! That makes her way too hyper."said Yang, who knew this personally after dealing with the sugar-fide berserker one time during sparring class.
She can still feel that pain in her shoulder.
"I don't know! All I know is that I'm hiding until she comes down."said Jaune, before he noticed everyone looking at him.
"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"he finally asked.
"Well, are you sure you're going to be okay being here, alone at Beacon with only a handful of students?"questions Ruby, out of concern for her male best friend.
"I'm going to be fine. Besides, I can't exactly go home since my mom and dad are... kind of mad at me."said Jaune, who knew that was the understatement of the century what with him running away from home and stealing the family heirloom.
"Man, how many people here have parent issues?"inquired Yang, before she realized what she said.
"Don't answer that."said Yang, realizing she was sounding like a hypocrite, what with her mother issues.
"Anyway, you can't hide here as we're about to change."said Weiss, causing Jaune to turn around and cover his eyes with his hands.
"I won't peak, since I know what happens when you do."said Jaune, as growing up with seven Sisters teaches you not to accidentally walk in and I'm changing... especially when some of his sisters are the violent type.
"Jaune, Weiss just want you to leave."said Ruby, revealing that her bestie was lying.
"Yeah, we changed already."said Yang, backing up her sister.
"Hey, don't tell him that. And how dare you insist on staying in the room, even if I was lying."said Weiss, feeling like a young man like Jaune would give into temptation if she was telling the truth.
"Trust me, I wouldn't look as I know Yang would make me pay for looking at her and her sister while they were changing."said Jaune, who knew his friend young enough to know that she would punish him severely if he did that.
"He's not wrong."said Blake, backing up The Dork Knight.
"Jaune!"shouted the familiar voice of a hyped up Nora Valkyrie.
"Eeep"said Jaune, before he quickly ducked underneath Weiss' bed, cowering as the orange-haired berserker busted down the door by using Lie Ren like a battering ram!
"Help..."said Ren, who look like he was both physically and mentally exhausted.
"Nora, what's the matter...?"inquired Ruby nervously, wanting to know what Nora wanted as she had that crazy look in her eyes.
"Have you guys seen, Jaune-Jaune? I'm afraid I need to teach my fearless leader a lesson for trying to cut off my sugar."said Nora, revealing the reason why Jaune was hiding from her in the first place.
Ruby in that moment covered Weiss' mouth to stop the heiress from revealing her male best friend's location.
"I think I heard him say something about heading to the loading bay."said Blake, with zero hint that she was lying.
"Thanks! Come Renny, Nora the thunder berserker must head to the loading bay to teach fearless leader a lesson."said Nora the thunder berserker, before she ran out of the room with her best friend held by both of her arms.
"Help!"shouted Ren, before he disappeared from sight with Nora.
"Phew... thanks Blake."said Jaune as he was coming out underneath the bed.
"No problem. Why isn't Pyrrha helping you out?"inquired Blake, wondering why the invincible girl was in with Jaune.
"She's currently rounding up the teachers and they're forming a search party to hunt down Nora and hold her down until the sugar in her system passes."answered Jaune, revealing the reason why his partner wasn't with him.
"I'm surprised she left you alone."said Yang, causing the young man to look at her.
"What do you mean?"inquired Jaune.
"It's nothing."said Yang, while rolling her eyes.
"I would ask you why you're rolling your eyes, but I need to find a better hiding place as this place has been compromised..See you guys after the break."said Jaune, before he ran off as fast as his legs could take him.
"When will that guy notice."said Yang, wondering how much longer Pyrrha had to deal with her one-sided cross.
Pretty much everyone in the friend circle knew that the invincible girl had a crush on The Dork Knight. The only people who didn't know was Weiss and Ruby. Ruby because she was innocent and naive, and Weiss because she'll never believe in a million years that someone like Pyrrha has a crush on some guy who is way below her standards.
"She can only hope."said Blake, as even she knows that Pyrrha has a crush on Jaune, but the idiot is too dense to notice.
Meanwhile, the idiot in question was running for dear life as he quickly tried to find a hiding spot that would protect him from Nora the thunder berserker, the thing Nora calls herself when she's high on sugar.
Little did Jaune know, he was being followed by a creature that was completely invisible.
The outline of the creature indicated it was at least a foot tall, with a tale at least twice that length. It's noticeable features indicated it was some kind of cat / kangaroo like creature with huge feet, small paws, a large head, with matching large eyes.
"Mew..."said the creature silently to itself, waiting for the perfect opportunity to abduct the young man.
After all, that is why he was in Remnant in the first place.
Now the only question is why?
I've been wanting to write a Jaune Arc Kanto story for some time.
I'm super excited as the original 151 OG pokémon are some of my favorite Pokemon of all time! These are the pokémon that got me interested in the Pokemon franchise in the first place, especially the mascot of the whole Pokemon franchise, Pikachu!
Soon Jaune will know just how great Pokemon is when he is abducted and taken to the Pokemon world, with the job of taking down Team Rocket!
Will Jaune be able to do it?
Only one way to find out.
That is all I had to say
I'm General Jaguar, and I am out of here.
