To be honest, I say Nabbit's more likely for Rivals of Aether if only because Smash Fans's Types only cared if the Character is a A: 90s to 00s Characters and B: The Big A-Tier Characters that are third Party…. (Why else would you explain Sephiroth and Sora? Even if I liked them both)
But Glad you're enjoying Sonic Superstars as well! ;)

Do you think Korra form the Legend of Korra is as bad as Everyone says she is?

That and Mermaid Legends of Paldea would be a Semi-Adaptation so any event in the Canon DLC Would be Altered... World of Trophies, Smash Mansion, 64 Era Hallways:
"Hurry up guys! Let's go!" Said Nemona Cypress as she, Morgan Lowell and their Pokemon (Skelidrege, Pawmot and Goodra for the Former and Oshawott for the Latter) are currently rushing down the hall.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Said Morgan as he cheered out loud with his Friend as they and their Pokemon
"Party Time!/Let's go!/Heck Yeah!/Osha!" their Pokemon cried out as they followed their Trainers while the other Marvelous Magalors are following behind them as well.
"Remind me again how Nemona's Friends managed to tolerate her like this?" Questioned Desti as she scowled in frustration as she looked back to Her Brother Eight, Neku and Hilda looked back to her, The latter two admitting some agreement as Eight gave a confused looked back to his Sister and their fellow Marvelous Magalors….
"Oh Come on Sis! Nemona's not the Worst! I'm sure she's fine…" Said Eight as his sister rolled his eyes at him, No doubt surprising
Nemona was the type of Person she, Neku and Hilda (And she's not only battle crazy as well but also shown to be able to turn into a Mermaid with some Necklace) would get along the least, Especially when she reminds her of Meggy's Cousin Goggles a lot… (Abit with Actual Skill then Goggle's Purely Lucky streak in her Opinion)
Sure she was at least decently tolerable at times especially when fighting against the Cults of Dharkon and Galeem but other then that… She does questioned how she's a Student Council President even if she has the Grades to back her up in her World….
Still, Mario did apparently invited her along for this Christmas Party of his whom Nemona also extend this Invitation to them as well (Especially since Fiora, Shulk and Morgan's Family would be there as well) and naturally, Invited Her, Eight, Neku and Hilda along for the Ride.
So Desti begrudgingly tagged along if only to avoid making a Scene especially with Meggy around, No doubt wanting to prove she's better then her without making a scene as well (Mostly for her little brother though given how close he and Meggy's Cousin Goggles are as well)
Soon enough, They soon reached where Mario's Room where he and his Brother Luigi are usually sleeping in, No doubt the Location for the Party as well:
"Alright, Let's get this over it…" Said Neku as Nemona smiled back to him.
"Heck yeah Neku! Let's go!" She said as they and the other entered the Room.

64 Era Hallways, Mario and Luigi's Room:
Inside the Room was quite a Simple Party held by Mario and his Family as they're partying with Chrom's Family as well as Guzma and the Valla Twins as the Former was with Kamui while her brother was simply with Golispod, Pinsir and Ariados eating some of the Food.
Said Food was a large Varity of Italian food like Pasta, Pizza, Italian Sandwiches, Mozella Salads and even Deserts like Tiramisu was among the Spread as well (As well as all things, Some Pinapple Curry by the Side)
Likewise, Chrom and Robin were kissing under the mistletoe while Lucina smiled back to her Parents before doing the same with Shulk while Fiora smiled back to them with Meggy reading a Law Book while Goggles was munching on some Pinapple Curry with a side of Pickle Plums by the side.
"Hey you guys! Glad you came!" Said Daisy as she waved back to the Group while Luigi smiled back to his Girlfriend as Mario looked back to Nemona.
"Well, Dig in you guys!" Said Mario with a Smile as Eight rushed towards the Pasta and took some of the Mushroom Cream Fettuccine.
"Here Sis! Try some!" He shouted as he gave some of the Pasta to Desti as he took some pasta for himself.
Desti took a look at the Pasta before looking at Meggy whom just looked back to her, No doubt not interested in another fight between them as the Octoling ignored her rival and ate the Pasta…
Which to her surprise, Was better then she thought…. It was thick and Creamy but at the same time, Heavenly and great as well.
'Ok, This isn't as bad as I thought…' Said Desti to herself as she took a bite of the Mushroom Cream Fettuccine some more while not eating like a pig.
"So eh, Luigi…. What's this Pasta?" She questioned as Luigi smiled back to her.
"Well, That's me and Mario's Family Recipe for our Mother's Special Mushroom Cream Fettuccine Pasta! Been the Family's Favorite for a lot of Generations at least…" Answered Luigi back to Desti with a Smile.
"Save for… Our Niece form our side of the Family Mary Pat's not one for Shrooms even to this day…" He continued as he recalled when he and Mario's Niece often not liking Mushrooms as he chuckled back to the moments at the dinner table.
"That and you're-a the better cook as well Luigi…" Mario admitted with a Chuckle. "You're able to replicate Mom's Recipe better then I can…
"Hey Bro, you're better with Kids then I am…" Luigi said back to his Brother. "I mean, Nemona's shapping up to be your Second Niece like Meggy was…"
"Though I have to admit, At this Rate, I say you're like Batman and both Nemona and Meggy are like your Robins as well..." He continued as Mario smiled back to his brother.
"Well, I'm Certainly a Hero but I'm no Capped Crusader Bro..."
"Well Luigi does have a Point Mario…. You're really being an Adoptive Uncle to a lot of the Toads back home, It seems to also effect you, Nemona and Meggy at least." Peach admitted with a smile as she noticed the Paldean Champion ranked Trainer approaching her and Mario.
"Oh hey Nemona!" Said Mario as Nemona soon approach him with Morgan as the Latter rushed his Family whom smiled back to him.
"Oh Hey Mario!" Said Nemona as she approached her current teacher with a smile, Her Pokemon doing the same as Mario then noticed Hilda approaching him
"So this is the Party…." Said Hilda with a Surprised tone as the Princess of Lorule. "It's neat… I guess…."
"Doesn't explain where the Families of that Pikachu or Bowser is however here…."
"Well, Bowser and Pikachu are having their own party however…." Mario admitted with a Chuckle.

Smash Mansion, Brawl Floor, Dedede/Bandana Dee's Room:
"Oh Yeah Junior! Get Ready to eat me and Agumon's Dust!" Yelled Pichu as she and Agumon are currently playing a Video Game against Junior and Larry on the Switch as the two youngest of Bowser's Children
"Well Dream on Pichu!" Sneered Bowser Junior as he and Larry sneered back to Pichu ad her Adoptive Brother/Best Friend as the former smirked back to him.
"Oh it's on!" She shouted as the four of them resumed their game while the Rest of Bowser's Kids are doing their own things as well with Ludwig playing his Piano, Roy just grumbling on the Coach, Wendy texting on her Social Media and Phone, Morton currently playing with his Pet Cheap-Cheap and finally, Iggy and Lemmy are playing with the Latter's Ball as well while annoying Escargoon whom he and Steve the Piranha Plant are helping with the Refreshements and snacks for this little party.
"So where's Olimar and Chrom Pikachu?" Phoenix Wright questioned as the Ace Attorney was with Pikachu and his Wife Libre, The Pikachu Couple just simply at this.
"Well Olimar did say he'll be late, And Chrom's got his little Outing as well…." Pikachu admitted with a Shrug.
"Tch… Whatever Pip-squeakachu… Why Chrom decided to join is seriously the stupidest idea ever…" Bowser butted in as the Koopa King sneered back to Pikachu in a taunting manner.
"Heck, The Only way I can see it if he wants to be far away from your stupid face as well…"
Pikachu remained slient at this, knowing Bowser is just egging him like he usual does with him (especially whenever the Subspace Emissary was brought up and how the Koopa King was the Reason he was stuck in the Generator till Samus came and save him form it)
"Though I have to admit, Pity Eggy can't come… He'll be great among us Dad Fighters…" Bowser sneered as he recalled Eggman is currently feuding with over whom's the better villain (Which Bowser admit he knows his Friend's pain given his 'Friendship' with Ganondorf ended the same way as well…)
"Really, I thought form what heard form Sonic, Doesn't Eggman have a Nephew and Niece at least?" Phoenix admitted with a confused look on his face as Bowser rolled his eyes back at this.
"Well, His Niece personally reminds me of Junior form what he told me, But that's it… Eggy never told me much about his Family… But it's not really my business, I'll stick out of it…"
"Tch…. If you guys stop gushing offer such Trivial Matters… You'll actually DO Stuff…." Grumbled Kazuya whom simply just sat down, No doubt not wanting to be here and no doubt annoyed about Bowser as well.
"Hey buddy, Do you want me to throw Pipsqueak-achu at you!?" Bowser roared as he was about the Grab Pikachu as the Rodent jumped out of the way at this.
"Hey Bowser, Little Reminder, Truce during the Holidays? Even without Chrom, We have to give a good impression to the new guys as well at least." Pikachu admitted while giving him the Stink eye towards his Rival as he dropped him down, No doubt forced to be on their truce for the Holidays to not get in trouble with the Hands or the others.
Escargoon looking at this let out a Sigh as he facepalmed at Pikachu and Bowser's Rivalry and while glancing back to Dedede whom was currently in a Game of Chess with Bandana Dee, The Waddle Dee playing well with his Adoptive Father whom was actually quite well versed in such a Game, A Far cry form his Former Behavior of a Childish Brainless Tyrant back when Kirby first arrived in Dreamland (Even if Said Skills were mostly Dedede getting fixated on beating Robin in a Game of Chess however, Something that help out big time for them as it did help Dedede learn more and push past form his past as NME's Biggest Sucker of a Customer and become a better person as well.)
'Heh… Guess for once Dedede's Stubbornness pays off….If it means him not falling back to old habits, I can live with him playing chess.'He admitted to himself as he rolled his eyes at his King's typical pig-headedness and Competitive nature actually paying off in the Form of getting a Love for Chess which would help prevent the possible relapse of going to another dealer like NME…
Just as the party resumes with no other issues….

"Well, That explains things…." Said Hilda as she looked back in surprise at this.
"I Suppose you could-a say that!" Said Mario with a smile on his face.
"Regardless, Enjoy the Party you guys!"
The Rest of the Marvelous Magalors soon decided to enjoy the Party with Nemona quickly joining Morgan with his Family while Desti, Eight, Hilda and Neku as they had to celebrate with Fiora as the Woman smiled back to them.
Just as Mario looked back to the group with a smile about it.
Christmas is always a great time for many, But with others?

Author's Note:
Well, I have to admit, This Annual Story is just a little party with the Mario and Lowell Families at least (Chrom's Last Name Lowell comes form Marth's Last Name in the Fire Emblem OVAs if you're curious, Same with Mario's (and Luigi's) last name being Mario like the Live Action Movie abit with Mario having Andrew as a Middle name for my Stories however)
Also, to explain the Eggman Line regarding him having Kids due to Sage's Existance (Yes, Like Meggy and other SMG4 Characters, Egglette's a Character in this Fic), The World of Light Deluxe-Verse continuity wise takes place before Sonic Frontier meaning Sage hasn't reunited with Eggman yet, But it's also to confirm elements form it would be a thing for my Stories.
Let's just say Snively and Egglette may be Eggman's way of replacing Sage (Moreso the Latter) in a way but if I do cover Frontier Elements…Let's just call it a Sneak Preview for things to come.

And before one ask, The Nod to Mario and Luigi's Niece is to the Mario Movie where a Capped teenager Girl playing a Moblie Phone Game was among Mario's Family so we figured (And Give her Movie!Mario's Mushroom Dislike as well)
Her Name Mary Pat (Or MP for Short) actually form Nintendoman01's Adventurs of the Super Mario Bros Fanfic (Basically their take on the Mario-Verse, great Read BTW) where in that fic, She's was their little Sister as well (The Brothers were originally form the Mushroom Kingdom but were adopted into Mary Pat's Family if you're wondering, It basically merges the Yoshi Island Backstory with the Original Backstory of the Brothers being form Brooklyn isekaied to the Mushroom Kingdom)

Yeah, a Lot of the Stories of the Smash Mansion Fics have been Nemona focused lately but it's my sort-of redemption for Marnie's removal form the Unsung Heroes as well…. (I'm trying to not risk the same incident about what happened with Galarian Awakening for Mermaid Legends of Paldea at least)
It's not much but it's moreso a Christmas focused fic of many people celebrating the Holidays together…

World of Throphies, Smash Mansion, Recreational Area, Swimming Pool:
"Wahoo!" Yelled Nemona as she swam in the Pool with her mermaid Necklace and in her Mermaid Form with joy as she swam laps in the Pool.
Her Emerald Green Scales shine a radiant green with her Sharpedo Dorsal Fin as she and Pawmot are in the Pool swimming together while Goodra and Skelidrege watched form a distance, The Latter obviously enjoying her Mermaid side as well.
"Heck Yeah Nemona! Let's do this!" Said Pawmot as he smiled back while swimming alongside his Trainer as the Sharpedo Mermaid smiled back to him.
"Yeah!" She said as Nemona swam even more with Pawmot as Goodra and Skelidrege cheered their Trainer and Teammate on.
"You can do it Pawmot!" Said Goodra with a smile.
"Keep it up Nemona!" Said Skeldirge as he roared loudly with the Bird on his beak flying briefly as well because of it.
All While Mario and Peach watched nearby with the Mushroom Kingdom Couple looking in Surprise at this.
"Mama-mia! And I thought Pichu was energetic!" Mario (Currently in his Doctor Attire) admitted in Surprise as Peach let out a Chuckle while Meggy (The Latter currently sitting nearby due to the Inkling not wanting to be near the water as well) "I know Teens have a lot of Energy but this is new!"
"Well, Daisy and I were friends for a long time… Her Behavior is something people Nemona would behave like at least…" Peach admitted with a shrug as Meggy looked back to Nemona, How she reminds him of Goggles at times as well.
"So Meggy… Now that you're in your Mermaid form… I do have to-a ask you this…" Said Mario as he looked back to Nemona whom was already looking at her.
"Why are you so Hyperfixated by battles? And does this connect to why you want to be a Mermaid?"
The Moment Mario asked his Question, Nemona then looked back to herself as she looked back to this.
"Well… I looked up to Pokemon Battles when I was younger…. And well for the Mermaid thing… It's because, I wanted to be a Pokemon myself…." Said Nemona as Mario looked back in surprise at the last part.
Truth be told, She never mentioned this to anyone until the Kitanami Trip but she always had the desire to become a Pokémon herself…
She liked being human but her love for battles, It was like it was a part of her… It wasn't enough being a Trainer, Being a Pokemon would truly satisfy her battle craving as well.
Even the Synchro Machine at the Blueberry Academy wasn't enough for her, She wanted to have the ability to battle with her Pokemon, She wanted to be like her Pokemon… She wants to fight alongside her Team, be like a Pokemon and use her own Pokemon moves.
Getting to fight alongside her Pokemon would be her dream, To be a Pokemon and a Trainer would be like her ultimate goal as well.
Even if she can't be a Pokemon, She'll settle for being a Mermaid like Juliana at least… And while the Mermaid Necklace she gotten form her First True Friend's Mother won't make her a Complete Mermaid like her, She can at least get the satisfaction of being a Pokemon even if it's not permanent as well.
She even said it to Juliana, Arven and Penny as well before they Left for Kitanami during the School Trip:

Back in Paldea, Narjanja Academy, Juliana's Dorm Room, Sometime after the Area Zero Incident:
"WHAT! You want to become a Pokemon!?" Said Arven in Shock as Nemona looked back to him, Juliana (Who's in her Mermaid Form) and Penny with a Nod of agreement.
"Well, Being a Trainer and Human is great and all but being a Pokemon? It'll be awesome to finally get to battle as well!" Nemona answered back with a Smile. "Besides, It'll be cool to be battling as the Pokemon for a Change)
"Well I suppose being an Eevee would be a Dream come true for me but right now? I rather be a Human as well…." Penny answered back in a Look of mixed opinion.
"Nemona, I guess being part Pokemon it is cool and all…." Said Juliana with a smile. "But I don't think you should risk it however….that and I don't think there's any way to turn into a Pokemon... I'm basically a Pokemon/Human hybird but I do think it's a bit odd you want to cast your Humanity aside like that..."
"I Know it's impossible but I suppose it'll be great to be like you Juliana, You being a Pokemon is awesome!" Nemona answered back as Juliana just smiled back to her First Paldean Friend and Rival.
"Well just don't get your Hopes high Nemona, I Doubt it'll happen…" Said Arven with a Wary tone.
"Aggreed…." Said Penny a Still baffled look on her face.
"Don't worry about it Nemona, You're still a Great Trainer, And I'm sure you'll still be able to enjoy battles at least…." Said Juliana with a Smile on her Face as the Palafin Mermaid let out some clicks, Nemona smiling back at this,
No doubt Juliana has some valid points as well at least…

"Well, To be-a honest Nemona, I Believe this is an effect of your Austism…" Mario admitted as he looked back the Paldean Student Council Champion whom looked back
"Autistic People then to have-a Hyperfixation on their Favorite things at times… I believe battles are yours…" He continued as Nemona and her Pokemon
"And I do know a couple of Toads back home whom are also like that as well…" Peach added on as well, No doubt like Humans, Toads do have similar autism issues at times… but the important thing is Nemona, Your Austism isn't making you any less of a Person, You're just special because you behave differently…"
"Well I suppose so…." Nemona admitted with a Shrug as she looked back to Mario.
Just as Morgan, Lucina, Shulk, Fiora and Oshawott entered the Pool as well.
"Hey guys!" Said Nemona as she and her Pokemon looked back to her fellow Marvelous Magalors and their Love ones… Just as Sonic also entered the Room.
"Hey Sonic, How are you?" Mario questioned as Sonic approached him and then to Nemona.
"Eh.. Just want to say hi Nemona, That's all…" he answered back as he rushed towards Meggy whom just rolled her eyes at this.
"Well wanna join in?" Nemona questioned as Morgan and Oshawott nodded back.
"I Suppose it won't hurt at least…" Lucina admitted with a Shrug as she smiled to her little brother and his Pokemon.
Soon, Lucina, Morgan and Oshawott joined in while Shulk and Fiora chuckled at this as Nemona, Morgan and Lucina soon swam with Oshawott and Pawmot while Mario, Peach, Sonic and Meggy watched in amusment at this.
"Well, It's a First Step at least…" Said Mario to himself as he knew Nemona's Autism would take some time but slowly but surely he can help her Autism as well…
"Race you to the end Pawmot!" Said Nemona as the Faux Mermaid smiled back to her Partner Pokemon whom did the same.
"You're on Nemona!" He said as the Two of them swam across the Pool, Nemona's Ethuasim is no doubt shared with her Pokemon as the Fake Sharpedo Mermaid's Energy is no doubt as large as her Champion and School Council Duties as well...

Yeah… I admit I Suppose I may be annoying you all with the Idea of Mermaid!Nemona but at least it's not more Pokemon SwSh/FE:Fates bashing at least….
But it's a Concept that I been itching to write, And Plus, I figured Expanding on Nemona's Character won't hurt at least (She's still handled better then the Kalos Rivals at least, So there's that)
Likewise, Is it wrong to officially say that Mario's basically an Horary Uncle at this Point to others (Both Meggy and Nemona being Teenagers?
Plus, Nintendo!KH Fics makes it even more amusing since you get an extra teenager for Mario in the form of Riku since it's an Obvious choice to have the Former in Mickey's Role as well…
Heck, Mario does give off Friendly Uncle Vibes as well, He can easily help Riku with his Darkness Problem like Micket Can (Then again, It'll also involve Mario treating Riku to some Pasta as well)

Yup, Consider the Whole Nemona wanting to be a Pokemon basically both her Reasoning to want to be a Mermaid as well and a Major headcanon Nemona would love to be turned into a Pokemon to experience battles herself at least, Heck maybe being Isekaied to the Mystery Dungeon-Verse would be Battle Heaven for Nemona as well.

Speaking of Mystery Dungeon… It's still too early for such a Project to occur but I'm considering experimenting with Juliana, Nemona, Arven and Penny in the Mystery Dungeon World… (Considering doing an Adaptation of Rescue Team but Explorers could work if I can find a way to do it justice)
