Song: Miracle Hymn

With the stars above shining bright the three Nativity animals, after Joshua had finished his tale, all started to hum a sweet tune.(1)
"On a starry night in Bethlehem a child was born to bring light to man." Nestor sang out.
"Our faith had waned, our eyes grew dim. In a candle's light we find hope again." The littlest camel continued.
"There are miracles all around. Miracles yet to be found. Inside every heart is an answered prayer." Joshua picked up the song.
"Like a candle's flame, hope will lead us there." The three chorused.
Jack was suddenly spurred to wonder if someone had planned this beforehand as every fire-related spirit and mythic began lighting small candles and the beautiful flames were passed around.
"When the darkness comes, let the light shine through. A spark of faith will bring light to you." Jasper sang quietly over Jack's shoulder."
Tiffa walked up to them with two candles in her hands. She held one out to Jack smiling gently as King sang from her shoulder of the miracle birth and miracle of the empty tomb.
Jack took the candle and stared at the flame as it danced gently. He felt a stirring in his heart, he'd felt this before whenever he saw a gloomy face and had sent a special fun snowflake or had seen someone needing help and provided a breeze or an icy patch in just the right place. Could this be what the song meant by Miracles inside each of them? The ability to lend a hand in seemingly in-substantial ways that were worth so much to the receiver that they were considered miraculous?
When everyone sang together Jack, though he had never heard this song before, found himself singing along wholeheartedly.
"When the light has dawned on Christmas day, we will lift one voice in endless praise. When the light has dawned on Christmas day, we will say…There are miracles all around. Miracles yet to be found. Hid in every heart is an answered prayer. Like a candle's flame, hope will lead us there!"
The stars above shone, a mirror of the candles of the festival grounds below.
Happy fourth Sunday of Advent! Praying for love to fill you with all that it promises this week.
