After Barbara said goodbye to Kevin, she met back up with Harley, Ivy, Selina, Renee, and Nora at the damaged Gotham Clocktower. She looked at her gamma amazon sisters and said, "Well girls, looks like the writing's on the wall. Bane's been defeated for good, but I just don't feel like conquering Gotham and turning everyone else just like us." The women were disappointed that they wouldn't be able to conquer Gotham, but they understood why Barbara didn't want to anymore. Nora could see the sadness in her eyes. "What do we do now?" Selina asked. "I don't know," said Barbara, "what you decide next is up to you. I won't stop you." The gamma powered women wondered what to do next. "Y'know all this time, I never realized that Kate was Batwoman," said Renee, "Batwoman or not, I always had feelings for Kate, and I want to work things out between her and I…"
"In hindsight, I might have overreacted when I got angry and mutated in front of Victor," said Nora, "while it was questionable of him to make that cryogenic tube without Boyle's permission, Victor did all those things for me. And because of me, he suffered such cold cruelty. I'm practically the reason he became Mr Freeze… I should attempt to at least reconcile with Victor… It's the least I can do for him…" Harley looked at Ivy and said, "I hear the Amazon rainforest is nice this time of year…" Ivy gave a look of surprise and asked, "are you suggesting we go to a rainforest in Brazil?" Harley held Ivy's hand and said, "I'm suggesting we live there. It might be peaceful, and I know you might have fun living au naturel in nature." She playfully winked at Ivy. "You would want to leave the civilized concrete jungle of Gotham to live in the rainforest with me?" Ivy asked, touched by Harley's suggestion. "It'll be more fun with you Red," said Harley as she smiled sweetly at Ivy.
"I love you, Harley Quinn," said Ivy as she kissed Harley on the lips. She, Harley, Renee, and Nora left the Clocktower, and Barbara left afterwards, where she went, no one knew. Selina was the last one there, and she pondered what to do next. She thought about the possibility of starting a new romantic relationship with Bruce, hoping he would be attracted to her new form.
Meanwhile after visiting hours were over at the Gotham Hospital, Bruce and Andrea were outside Kevin's room. Andrea looked at Bruce and confessed, "Bruce… I want to stay. In Gotham, with you and Kevin." Bruce gave a surprised look and asked, "you do?" Andrea held Bruce's hand and said, "I made a mistake not telling you about Kevin when I was pregnant with him. This time, I want to make things right, for our son, and for you." Bruce gave a skeptical look and said, "Andrea…you and Kevin are the best things that ever happened to me… but you could do so much better than me." Andrea shook her head and said, "I could never love another man after loving you Bruce. I want us to reconnect. Don't you?" Bruce thought about the chance to reconnect with Andrea, to actually be happy. He knew it would make Kevin happy, seeing him and Andrea together. Of all the women Bruce had romanced with, Andrea seemed the most stable and normal. He had lost her two times, he didn't want to lose her a third time. Perhaps Bruce deserved to be happy outside of being Batman. Bruce gave a small smile and said, "perhaps it's time we reconciled and reconnected as a couple." Andrea beamed as Bruce kissed her on the lips, restarting their romantic relationship.
Three days later, Kevin was fit enough to leave the hospital and was given several pain prescription pills to help him recover, Bruce willingly paying for Kevin's medical stay and his medical bills. It would take Kevin six or eight weeks to fully heal from his broken collarbone and his bruises, but Bruce and Alfred tried to make this easy for Kevin so that he wouldn't go through any physical pain. It was now night time, and Bruce was out on patrol as Batman, trying to make up for all the lost time after everything the city had been through. There were no signs of the other infectants from what Bruce had observed when suddenly, he heard what sounded like a giant thud. He turned around and saw Selina in her green naked muscle-bound form, towering over him. "Well would you look at that, after a week of slacking off, the bat has returned," she said in a teasing manner, "hello Bruce."
"Selina." Batman said with surprise, trying to not look at her large breasts and her exposed vagina. "Why Batman, are you offended to see me naked?" Selina teased as she shook her body around seductively, "Don't you see anything that you like?" Batman gave an annoyed grunt and asked, "why are you here Selina?"
"Barbara decided to let us all disband on our own terms," explained Selina, "as for where Babs is, I don't know where she's gone. You're the detective, you figure that out. But the reason I'm here is because I want to pursue something romantic with you, Bruce. I know I'm big, muscular, and green, but I'm still your favorite cat burglar. I was hoping I could try my luck in a romantic relationship. And with me being buff and over 7 ft tall, there's more of me to love. Interested?" Batman's face was indifferent as he said, "I'm sorry Selina, but no." Selina had a feeling that Bruce would say no. And yet she still asked, "what?!?! Why?!?!?! We could make this work!" Batman shook his head and calmly explained, "it isn't that I'm not attracted to you because of your new appearance, Selina. It's just that I've decided to reconcile with Andrea and we're starting a new relationship together." Selina's eyes dilated in anger as she asked, "Andrea?!?!?! Who the hell's Andrea?!?!?!"
"Andrea Beaumont was my first girlfriend before I became Batman," explained Batman, "we've had a history that's long and complicated as ours was, Selina." Selina crossed her arms and said in a jealous manner, "I see. So you're just going to choose her over me?" She clenched her massive fists in anger. "Selena, we're two different people," said Batman, "I became Batman for one specific purpose. You became Catwoman for the thrill of thieving when revenge bored you. Andrea is in love with me, and I'm not going to ignore her feelings. I want to be with her, Selina, I'm sorry." Selina growled, "You're making a big mistake… Mark my words Bruce, I will make you regret rejecting me!" Selina then jumped off the building and roared, determined to sabotage Bruce's romance with Andrea by any means necessary.
