I do not own.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
"This is itchy." Kenji complained as he pulled on his collar.
"Dad, why do I have to wear a dress?" Jade complained.
"This bow is making my head hurt." Jasmine moaned.
"Enough!" Six snapped. The kids immediately stopped speaking. Six was use to kids endless whining after all he did take care of Rex. "We're here for your mother's Christmas gift."
Six thought back to a few weeks ago.
Rebecca opened the door and smiled happily. "Mom! Dad! Good to see you. Come in."
"It's okay, dear. We'll be leaving soon anyway." Mrs. Holiday said politely.
"Thanks for taking the kids to see the Christmas lights at the mall." Rebecca said.
"It's our pleasure. We should do these things before the kids get too old for it." Her father laughed.
"They do grow up so fast." Mrs. Holiday smiled sadly looking at her own daughter.
"Yeah, I wish I had taken more pictures of you girls." Dr. Holiday agreed.
"I want more pictures of the kids too." Rebecca said wistfully. "But they won't hold still long enough for a nice picture. It would be nice to get one nice photo of the kids."
Six's ears perked up.
"Oh, I totally understand. You can never have enough pictures." Mrs. Holiday smiled.
"Kids! Let's go, grandma and grandpa are waiting!" Holiday yelled up the stairs.
Right on cue, the kids stampeded down the stairs.
As they got ready to go, Six sat lost in thought.
Six came back to the present. The kids had started arguing with each other. They were in the waiting room of a professional photography studio. He was about to warn his kids again when a lady poked her head in.
"We're ready for you." She announced.
Six quickly ushered his three children into the studio. The photographer greeted them.
"Let's try this arrangement." He had Kenji squat while Jasmine stood above him and Jasmine above her. "Ok, hold that pose."
"Stop leaning on me." Kenji hissed at his sister.
"Do you want me to fall? It's hard to keep my balance since your butt is so big." Jade hissed back.
"Stop moving so much! You're going to push me over." Jasmine yelled.
"Kids, kids, look this way." The photographer pleaded.
After a few shots, he gave up and rearranged them.
"Stop breathing in my ear!"
"I'm not, I'm just breathing!"
"Yeah! Into my ear."
"I have to go to the bathroom!"
"Do you want me stop breathing?"
"Children, please look this way and smile." The photographer said tiredly. "Young man, please smile… wider. Young lady, stop scowling."
"You're pushing me into the tree."
"Because you're too close to me."
"I really have to go."
"Kid's you have 5 seconds to get into your poses and smile." Six snapped. "One, two…"
The kids straightened up and smiled.
"Great, almost there. Look at the birdie," The photographer sounded relieved. "Smile wider."
"Ahhh! Jasmine peed on me!" Kenji yelped.
"I told you I had to go!" Jasmine wailed.
"At least you're not breathing in my ear anymore." Jade smirked.
Six wanted to face-palm.

Rebecca woke up early Christmas morning. She looked over at her sleeping husband and smiled. She got up to get breakfast ready.
When she got to the kitchen, she saw the kids had already made breakfast.
"Oh, that's so sweet of you." Rebecca said touched.
"We didn't want you to make breakfast." Jade said bluntly.
"Uh because you do so much already, mom." Kenji quickly added glaring at his sister.
Six walked behind her and wrapped his arm around her. "Kids, why don't you go get mom her present."
The trio scurried out to the living room.
"A present?" Rebecca asked eyes sparkling.
"It's a surprise." He answered flatly.
"Here mom!" Jasmine ran with the gift in hand.
Rebecca looked at the neatly wrapped gift. As she took off the wrapping paper her eyes widened. It was a picture of the kids out in the snow, laughing as they made a snow man.
"This is wonderful! So much better than a stuffy portrait." Rebecca smiled.
"That's because Jasmine peed on me." Kenji said.
"What?" Rebecca asked shocked.
Six's eye twitched slightly. "Don't worry about it." He said. "Kids go open your presents."
"Yay!" The kids stampeded off.
"Hmm, this sounds like an interesting story." Rebecca looked suspiciously at her husband.
"Not really." Six ushered her into the living room. "Merry Christmas."
She knew he was trying to change the subject. "Hmmm, Merry Christmas to you too." She decided to let it slide as she gave him a peck on the cheek. It was Christmas after all.
I don't want to be a downer so I'm going to just wish you all a great Christmas. I know I've probably lost a lot of people since I haven't been as productive as in previous years. So, thank you for those of you who stuck with me, I appreciate you and that you stuck around. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
