Chapter 19: A Father's True Strength

Duel Monster Spirit World – Genesis's Hideout

A moving Cyberse Kuriboh arrived at Genesis Hideout and inside was Ai. "Well, Genesis, let's see where you are keeping those little bundles of joy." Atem was next to him still unconscious while the girls were still passed out but were put in a separate area.

"Bingo." Ai smiled as he saw four dots on the map. "Hang on little tykes, Uncle Ai is heading your way."

United World – Maiami Hospital

The limo that had the Zaizen twins arrived and Aoi quickly bolted to the hospital entrance. "Jonouchi! Asuka! Rua! Rio!" Aoi called out.

"Aoi…"

Aoi looked to see Jonouchi being supported by Akari. "Jonouchi! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, though I won't be Dueling for a while. Doctor's orders." Jonouchi said. "But I'm glad you are okay."

"What about the others? Are they still alive?" Aoi asked.

"Rio is stabilized, but she hasn't woken up yet." Jonouchi said. "The Barians are saying that it's because she has no Chaos left in her. Without it, Rio can't wake up."

"And from what the other Signers can tell me, Rua lost his Mark of the Crimson Dragon, and because he used such great power, his body is deteriorating by the second. Honestly, the doctors don't know what else to do."

"And what about Asuka? I heard she got shot." Aoi said.

"Yeah, the wound punctured her heart." Jonouchi closed his eyes. "She's been in surgery for the past three hours. We honestly don't know if she'll make it. We've already called Fubuki to come over here just in case…"

"Everyone…" Aoi started to tear up. "It's my fault."

"Hey, it's not! We all made the choice to fight!" Jonouchi scolded.

"But I'm the leader, it's a leader's job to make sure their team comes back alive every mission." Aoi said. "I should've done more! I should've been better! If they die…it's on me…"

"Aoi…" Aqua looked at her partner.

"I know I shouldn't cry, but it's so frustrating that I can't do anything for them! Am I just supposed to pray that they're gonna be okay? I let them down. I let my cousin down." Aoi whimpered.

"Your cousin?" Jonouchi was confused.

"Our mother is the sister of Zarc Ryuga, Yuya's father." Akira entered and put his arm around his crying sister. "We're part of Yuya's family."

"No wonder you're beating yourself up for this." Jonouchi said. "It's frustrating for me too that I can't do anything to help them. But maybe believing them is the best thing we can do for them right now."

"Okay…" Aoi wiped her tears.

Yuya vs Genesis

Genesis smirked at the smoldering crater where Odd-Eyes was last seen. And she even giggled a bit at seeing Yuya on his knees.

"Father…" Zarc appeared in Yuya's head. "Mother…" Ray appeared. "Master…" Samejima appeared. "Odd-Eyes…" Odd-Eyes appeared.

"Don't worry, I'll send you to the others soon. Consider it an act of mercy that it will be quick and painless. Seeing Odd-Eyes suffer was satisfaction enough." Genesis said.

"But you created Odd-Eyes…he was basically your child. How could you do that to your own child?!" Yuya glared at Odd-Eyes.

Genesis chuckled before laughing out loudly. "Wow! You're scolding me on being a bad parent when you're no better than me!" Genesis laughed harder. "Oh, that's so funny!"

"I'm a bad parent? I'm fighting to save my children that you kidnapped!" Yuya growled. "I'm fighting for their future!"

"There you go with the excuses. You keep claiming that you're doing it for them, but you're really doing it for yourself." Genesis said. "If you had just left me alone and not been stalking me these past years, your kids would've been fine."

"Stop lying!" Yuya shouted. "You would have done this no matter what! It's better that I end you now than later!"

"Your children are in danger because you left them to chase me! You abandoned your wives making them emotionally vulnerable! This all happened because you couldn't escape your past!" Genesis pointed at Yuya. "And what were you gonna do when you finished me off? Be a Pro Duelist? Constantly leaving your family again! You don't have any other skills than a Duelist!"

"I'm not gonna leave them again! I'll find a different job! I'll watch my children grow up to be better than me! I will stay with them till the end!" Yuya shouted.

"Too bad for you that your end is near! Now start your turn!" Genesis shouted.

Genesis LP: 1100, Hand: 0
Field: Inception Denouement Dragon (ATK: 5000, LV: 12, PS: 13), Scale 0 Genesis Omega Dragon.

"I…I won't give up! My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "From my hand, I activate Odd-Eyes Extra Scavenger Hunter's Monster Effect! If this is the only card in my hand, I can return it to my deck, shuffle, and draw two cards for every card on my opponent's field! But if I draw this card again, my turn automatically comes to an end!"

Yuya returned the card to his deck and it shuffled. "You have two cards, so I can draw four cards from my deck!" Yuya drew four cards from his deck.

"I summon Aqua Magician (ATK: 1200, LV: 3, PS: 6)!" Yuya summoned a female magician in blue robes and a staff made out of water. "Aqua Magician's Monster Effect! When this card is Normal Summoned, and I have no Pendulum Cards in my Pendulum Zone, I can Special Summon two Water Tokens (DEF: 0, LV: 1) to my field!" Two droplets of water appeared on the field.

"Appear! Circuit of the Guardians!" The circuit appeared above Yuya. "The summoning conditions are at least two Water Monsters!" Yuya's three Water Monsters entered the Link Markers.

"Princess of the deep, appear on this battlefield and showcase your resolve! Link Summon! Appear! Link 3! Marincess Marbled Rock (ATK: 2500, LNK: 3)!" Yuya summoned Aoi's monster.

"There you go again, using another person's power." Genesis scoffed.

"When I summon a monster from the Extra Deck, I can Special Summon Odd-Eyes Illusionist (ATK: 0, LV: 1, PS: 10) from my hand!" Yuya summoned a man who had the power to create illusions.

"Odd-Eyes Illusionist's effect activates! Once per turn, I can treat this monster as another Odd-Eyes monster. I treat Odd-Eyes Illusionist…" Yuya choked a little bit. "As Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Odd-Eyes Illusionist created an illusion of Odd-Eyes.

"Appear once more, Circuit of the Guardians!" The circuit appeared again. "The summoning conditions are at least one Link and one Pendulum Monster! I set Marincess Marbled Rock and Odd-Eyes Illusionist treated as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon into the Link Markers!"

Marbled Rock split into three of the markers while Odd-Eyes went to just one marker. "Dragon with dichromatic eyes, embraced the waves of the ocean and unleash a torrent against your enemies! Link Summon! Appear! Link 4! Supreme King Blue Dragon – Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon (ATK: 2500, LNK: 4)!" Yuya summoned a new Odd-Eyes Link Monster.

"I activate Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon's effect! Once per turn, I can Special Summon a Water Attribute Link Monster from my Graveyard next to one of his Links! Revive! Marincess Marbled Rock (ATK: 2500, LNK: 3)!" Yuya brought back Aoi's card.

"Then, Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon gains that monster's Attack Points!" Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon gained more power.

Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon (ATK: 2500→5000)

"It has the same Attack Points as my evolved form." Genesis observed.

"I'm not done yet! From my hand, I activate the Equip Magic: Guardian Bond Odd-Eyes/Marincess! I can only activate this card when I have both an Odd-Eyes and a Marincess Link Monster on my field, this card equips itself to the Odd-Eyes monster and during battle, it's Attack Points will increase by the Marincess monster on my field!" Yuya revealed.

"I see. Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon will lead the charge while Marincess Marbled Rock will support it from behind." Genesis analyzed.

"And as long as this card is on the field, my opponent can only attack the Equipped Monster! Genesis, this fight of ours ends now! Battle! Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon, attack Inception Denouement Dragon! Spiral Torrent Burst!" Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon unleashed its attack and Marincess Marbled Rock assisted with her own power.

"At this moment, Guardian Bond Odd-Eyes/Marincess' effect increases Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon's Attack Points!" Yuya shouted.

Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon (ATK: 5000→7500)

"I activate Genesis Omega Dragon's other Pendulum Effect! When a Pendulum Monster on my field would be destroyed in battle and this card is the only Pendulum card in my Pendulum Zone, I can set another Pendulum Monster from my deck and reduce the Battle Damage by the Attack Points of the set Pendulum Monster and negate the destruction in battle! I set the Scale 13 Omega Dragon with 1800 Attack Points!" Genesis brought back Omega Dragon and protected her monster and minimized the damage.

"I set one card and end my turn." Yuya finished his turn. "At this moment, Guardian Bond Odd-Eyes/Marincess returns Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon's Attack Points to before the battle."

Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon (ATK: 7500→5000)

Yuya LP: 1500, Hand: 0
Genesis LP: 400, Hand: 0

"Tch…even though your dead you still give me problems, Odd-Eyes." Genesis wiped dirt of her face. "But it's too bad that you failed to get revenge for your precious partner."

"I'll succeed on my next turn." Yuya said.

"I doubt that. Thanks to your move, the conditions have been met for my victory." Genesis smiled.

"What?" Yuya questioned.

"My turn! Draw!" Genesis drew her card. "I activate Inception Denouement Dragon's Final Effect! When I have two cards in my Pendulum Zone, this card negates all other card effects currently on the field!"

"All effects?!" Yuya gasped.

"Since it was Odd-Eyes's effect that brought back Marbled Rock, she returns to the Graveyard!" Marbled Rock screamed as she was shattered to pieces.

Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon (ATK: 5000→2500)

"When the Marincess Card is destroyed, the Equip Magic: Guardian Bond Odd-Eyes/Marincess is also destroyed." Yuya's card was destroyed as well.

"At this moment, I activate Omega Dragon's Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, I can select one Magic or Trap Card on the opponent's field and destroy it! I destroy your set card!" Yuya's set card was destroyed instantly. "Then, one monster on your field loses half of its Attack Points!"

Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon (ATK: 2500→1250)

"Now it's time to end it all! Battle! Inception Denouement Dragon, attack Odd-Eyes Aqua Dragon!" Genesis ordered. "Since its effect was negated, that means battle damage will go through and your monster will be destroyed! Die! Yuya Sakaki! Hell Tempest Burst!" Inception Denouement Dragon unleashed its attack and it created a huge explosion.

Yuya grunted before he screamed as the force sent him flying and crashing into the wall of the ravine behind him. The impact made Yuya cough out blood and he landed on the ground.

Yuya LP: 1500→125

"What?" Genesis was confused. The damage should've been more than double what Yuya had. "How do you still have Life Points?"

"By banishing Guardian Bond Odd-Eyes/Red-Eyes, Odd-Eyes/Cyber Angel, Odd-Eyes/Power Tool, Odd-Eyes Sylphine and Odd-Eyes/Marincess cards from my Graveyard, I not only regained 500 Life Points, but I was also able to reduce the damage in half…" Yuya grunted.

"Tch, so you barely survived." Genesis said. "But if you want your death to be slow and painful, then I'm all for it. You barely have the strength to stand, and I destroyed the cards that symbolized the bonds with your friends. You'll be with your worthless parents, idiot master and weak partner in one more attack."

"I…" Yuya tried to get up but the last attack really took its toll on him.

"So, this is the end of Yuya Ryuga. He failed to save the world. He failed to protect his family. He failed to guard the world." Genesis chuckled.

"Come on…stand…stand up…" Yuya wanted to get back on his feet but his body wasn't listening to him. "You can't lose…you made a promise…you promised to be there for them…"

Yuya grunted as he tried to push himself off the ground but he collapsed once more. "Damn it…can I…not protect anyone…My friends…my family…Yuka…Yumiko…Yukio…Yusaku…" Yuya's eyes felt heavy.

Duel Monsters Spirit World – Genesis's Hideout

Ai entered the room where Yuya's children were all crying. "Don't worry kiddies! Uncle Ai to the rescue!" Ai went to the kids and he picked them up.

"Hey, easy, easy. What's wrong with you four?" Ai noticed that all four of the babies were all crying and wanting to go somewhere. He then looked and he saw a screen of the Duel between Yuya and Genesis. "Oh man, you're really worried about your pops, huh?"

"D…Dad…" Yusaku said.

"Dada…" Yukio said.

"Papa." Yumiko said.

"Daddy." Yuka cried.

"Come on, Yuya. You can't look uncool in front of your kids." Ai said. "Hm…I wonder…" Ai laid the kids down in front of him.

"Since this world does run like a network, let's see if this will let you help him." Ai touched the four babies on their heads and his eyes glowed.

Light then shot out of the Genesis hideout and into the sky.

Yuya vs Genesis

Genesis smiled as Yuya continued to lay on the ground. "I guess I killed him. Good riddance I say." Genesis sighed in relief.

"Now then, to take over the Human World and finally—" The light from her hideout shined down and it hit Yuya. "Wh-What?!" Genesis shielded her eyes.

Ryuga School of Guardians

Yuya opened his eyes and he found himself within the walls of the Ryuga School of Guardians. "What in the…" Yuya looked around. "How did I get here?"

Yuya saw the memorial that was made for his parents and master and walked up to it. He smiled as he put his hand over their pictures.

"I wish I could've met them."

Yuya heard a new voice and turned around to see another boy. The was a teen with fair skin, green eyes, and dark blue hair that spies outwards and contains light blue bangs with pink accents. He was wearing a school uniform that was similar to what his parents wore in the United World when they went to school.

"I'm sorry but who are you?" Yuya asked.

The boy looked down at himself. "I guess Ai gave us forms of what we would've looked like in the future."

"Ai? How do you know Ai?" Yuya asked.

"He came to save me and the others. Hopefully it will help ease you and mom's worries." The boy answered.

"The others…mom…wait." Yuya got closer to the boy and looked at his eyes. They were green, just like Serena's. "Yusaku?"

"Hey, Dad." Yusaku smiled.

"Dad."

"Daddy."

"Papa."

Yuya saw three more teens approaching him, two girls and a boy. The boy had green hair that was a shade darker than Rin's but lighter than his. He had orange eyes and he wore a Blue Riding Duel Suit.

The first girl had long red and purple hair and red eyes like Yuya. She had two yellow bird earrings and wore a school uniform that was blue and white with a heart symbol on her jacket.

And finally, the last girl had her red and pink hair in pigtails and had blue eyes. She wore a flower corsage on her wrist and was wearing a Maiami High School Uniform.

"Yuka…Yumiko…Yukio…" Yuya started to tear up as his children approached him. "Wow, you all look so amazing…"

Yuya looked at his four kids before his expression changed to sadness. "I'm sorry…I failed you…"

"Failed?" Yusaku asked.

"Genesis is too strong…I thought I could win but even with the strength of my friends and my conviction to protect your futures, I lost. And worse of all, I hurt your mothers by leaving them and all of you. Genesis was right, I'm a prisoner of my own past." Yuya said.

"Dad, the Duel isn't over yet, you still have Life Points." Yukio said.

"And a single draw can change the flow of a Duel." Yumiko added.

"It's time for a counterattack, you can still win." Yuka encouraged her father.

"But…Genesis has a solid Pendulum Defense and Offense. I don't know if I can beat it." Yuya admitted.

"Dad…you created the Pendulum, that means you know it's strengths and weaknesses. If Pendulum is the source of Genesis's strength, then you can destroy it." Yusaku said.

"Destroy Pendulum…" Yuya muttered before he realized what his children meant. "I understand. You four saved me."

"You can do it, Dad." Yukio smiled.

"We'll be waiting for you." Yumiko said.

"Teach that Genesis not to mess with a Ryuga!" Yuka encouraged.

"We're always with you, Dad." Yusaku said.

"Thank you…" Yuya smiled.

Yuya vs Genesis

"U-Urgh!" Yuya grunted before getting his strength to barely stand up once more. "I really have the best kids in the world."

"Oh, come on! Just give up! You can't beat me!" Genesis shouted. "I have mastered everything and have more powerful Pendulum Cards than you!"

"True, you have stronger Pendulum Cards, but…I'm the Pioneer of Pendulum Summoning, that means if I can create it, I can destroy it." Yuya smirked.

"Maybe, but you can't do it without Odd-Eyes I bet." Genesis said. "Just do your final turn."

"You're right. It's my final turn." Yuya put his fingers on his deck. "The final turn of this Duel. The final turn of my past. And…the final turn of Pendulum!"

"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: Life-Shaving Treasure Cards! This card lets met draw until I have five cards in my hand! But in five turns, I must discard my entire hand!"

"Everyone…" Yuya imagined Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua, Rio and Aoi putting their hands on top of Yuya's deck and drawing one card each.

"Yuya, you got this." Jonouchi said.

"We're with you, always." Asuka said.

"Guardians, forever." Rua said.

"Friends for life." Rio said.

"And family as well." Aoi said.

Yuya looked at the five cards in his hand. "These cards…" Yuya closed his eyes. "Using the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya set his two magicians in the scale.

"You two were the first Pendulum Cards I've used, that's why…" Yuya looked at Stargazer and Timegazer and they both nodded.

"It doesn't matter what you Pendulum Summon, it's not gonna defeat my monsters." Genesis said.

"I'm not Pendulum Summoning. And nobody else will." Yuya declared.

"What?" Genesis was confused.

"And I'm not letting you escape! From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Chronograph Seal! When I have Timegazer Magician in the Pendulum Zone, this card negates the effects of all Magic and Trap cards on the opponent's field!" Timegazer Magician created a spell that trapped both Genesis Omega Dragon and Omega Dragon from using their powers.

"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Astrograph Seal! When I have Stargazer Magician in my Pendulum Zone, this card negates the effects of all monsters on the opponent's field!" Stargazer Magician created a spell that prevented Inception Denouement Dragon from using its powers.

"And now…it's the end of Pendulum!" Yuya shouted. "I activate the Magic Card: Pendulum Ragnarok!"

"Pendulum Ragnarok?!" Genesis was shocked.

"I can only use this card when I have Stargazer and Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum Zone! This card banishes all Pendulum Monsters from both players hand, deck, Extra Deck and Graveyard and banishes all cards on the opponent's field!" Yuya revealed.

"W-Wait, if you go through with that card, it will affect anyone who uses Pendulum Cards, not just ours! You'll be destroying the very thing you created!" Genesis said. "You'll be nothing without Pendulum!"

"There's nothing wrong with that." Yuya smiled.

"No!" Genesis cried out.

"Stargazer! Timegazer! Initiate Ragnarok!" Stargazer and Timegazer Magician combined their magic and created a Black Hole in the sky and it sucked in Yuya's and Gensis's Pendulum Cards along with Genesis's dragon form, evolved form and Omega Dragon.

United World – Leo Corporation

"Hey, our cards!" Sawatari saw his cards glowing.

"Our Pendulum Cards…" Reiji saw his cards and they all started to disappear from their decks.

"Sir!" Nakajima came running in. "We're getting reports that Pendulum Cards are disappearing everywhere! It's like they're being erased from existence!"

"Erased from existence…" Reiji looked at the portal where the Duel Monsters' Spirit World connected to their world.

Yuya vs Genesis

More and more Pendulum monsters were getting sucked into the void that weren't even a part of Yuya's or Genesis' decks. Stargazer and Timegazer then jumped in the Black Hole themselves and the hole collapsed, reducing everything inside it to nothingness.

"I can't believe you actually did it…" Genesis was in shock. "But even so, I have cards that can inflict effect damage, as soon as I draw it, you're finished!"

"My turn isn't over yet, Genesis." Yuya said. "Pendulum Ragnarok has an additional effect! I'm allowed to Special Summon a Level 7 Dragon-type monster!" Yuya ripped his pendant off his neck.

"Wh-What are you doing?" Genesis got scared.

"Please…return to me…" Yuya crushed the pendant in his hand and light surged into the sky.

"Dragon with dichromatic eyes! Return to us in your original and beautiful form!" Yuya raised his hand and the light gathered in his hands and formed a card. "Appear! Odd-Eyes Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)!" Yuya brought back Odd-Eyes before he received the power of Pendulum.

"I live!" Odd-Eyes roared.

Genesis stepped back in fear. "You destroyed Pendulum to bring back Odd-Eyes…"

"Odd-Eyes Dragon! Direct Attack Genesis! Spiral Flame!" Yuya ordered and Odd-Eyes unleashed its original breath attack and it struck Genesis, making her scream in agony and she was blown away.

Genesis LP: 400→0

Winner: Yuya Ryuga

"Man, did that feel good." Odd-Eyes smiled with satisfaction.

"Odd-Eyes, welcome back." Yuya smiled at his partner.

"It's good to be back." Odd-Eyes lowered his head and let Yuya pet him. "Now, what do we do with her?"

"Pendulum is the reason Genesis was able to get her strength back, now that it's gone, she's going to lose whatever she has left." Yuya walked up the Genesis. "There's really nothing else that we can do for her."

"So, it's finally over. What a relief." Odd-Eyes sighed. "Come on, let's get back to the others."

"Right." Yuya jumped on Odd-Eyes's back and together they jumped out of the ravine, leaving the dying Genesis alone.

Above Dragon's Ravine

Yuya and Odd-Eyes reached the top where they saw Ai looking over Atem with Yuzu, Ruri, Rin and Serena fully awake and holding their babies.

"You did it." Ai smiled. "Sorry, I had to be a little rough with your wives."

"Don't say it like that." Yuya shook his head at Ai and he went to his wives.

"Yuya…" Yuzu looked up.

"Yuya, we're so sorry." Rin apologized.

"It's okay." Yuya said. "You did it for our kids. If anything, I should be the one apologizing. I've been so caught up with getting rid of Genesis, that I neglected the best things to ever happen to me. I promise…I won't be leaving ever you ever again."

"But what about your career as a Pro Duelist?" Serena asked.

"I have a more important job to do right now. That's being a good husband and a father. Dueling will always be there, but I only have one of you." Yuya smiled.

"So, what are you gonna do?" Ruri asked.

"I, uh…I haven't thought this through, honestly…" Yuya chuckled and sheepishly scratched the back of his head. This made Yuzu, Ruri, Rin and Serena giggle. Yuya then noticed his children reaching for him.

"May I?" Yuya held out his arms and the girls put their children in his. Yuya looked down at Yuka, Yumiko, Yukio and Yusaku. "The real heroes today are you four. Thank you." Yuya smiled. The babies then yawned as they were tired and went to sleep.

"Hey, we still got a problem." Ai approached the group. "The monster army under Genesis is still pursuing you and Atem. They already have an army ready to ambush you as soon as you reach the gate to get back to the United World in Maiami City."

"What about the gate that goes to Egypt?" Yuya asked.

"I think that gate can be reactivated, but it will take enormous magical power." Ai said.

Yuya looked at Atem. "Atem still has the Millennium Puzzle. That can reactivate the gate."

"But that gate is on the other side of the world." Ai pointed out.

"Which means if we go to Egypt that have to pull back their army at the other gate to Maiami City. Ai, take the others to that gate, I'll take Atem to Egypt." Yuya said.

"Whoa, wait, I'll take Atem and you and the others go to the gate to Maiami City." Ai said. "You just got them back, after all."

"If I split with Atem, they'll split their army and go after both of us. It's better if Atem and I are together so that they draw all their forces away from the gate." Yuya said. "Once you're through the gate, immediately close it, we don't any monsters to enter the Human World."

"Well, when you put it that way." Ai relented to Yuya's idea.

"I'm sorry, I…" Yuya apologized before his wives interrupted him and gave him a kiss.

"We'll see you at home." Yuzu said.

"We'll let the others know you're okay." Ruri said.

"The others…right…" Yuya stood up and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and his Signer Mark glowed, along with the aura of the Darkness and Chaos before they all disappeared from him.

United World – Maiami Hospital

Rio's body began to glow as the power of Chaos went into her body and she opened her eyes. "I…"

"Rio!" Shark and Kaito went to her side.

"Ryoga…Kaito…" Rio looked at them.

In Rua's room, Yuya's Signer Mark appeared on Rua's arm and he let out a long gasp as he quickly sat up from his bed. "Rua!" Ruka quickly hugged her brother.

"R-Ruka…" Rua coughed before he began to relax.

"Yuya's mark went to Rua." Aki observed. "Yuya saved him."

The darkness went to Asuka and her heart beat started to get faster and she opened her eyes. "Asuka!" Fubuki cried as he hugged his sister.

"I…" Asuka looked down at her chest and noticed that her wound was fully healed.

"Aoi! Jonouchi!" Akari ran to both of them, who were in the waiting room and told them about Rio, Rua and Asuka. Jonouchi sighed in relief while Aoi fell to her knees and started crying tears of relief.

Duel Monsters Spirit World – Dragon's Ravine

Yuya winced and fell to his knee. "Are you okay?" Rin asked in concern.

"I'm fine…tell the others I'll be back soon." Yuya stood up and went to Atem and carried him over his shoulder. "I'm getting you home too, buddy."

"Let's go." Ai summoned a vehicle allowing him, the girls and the babies to get in.

"Hey, I love you." Serena said.

"I love you too." Yuya said before he closed the door for Serena after she went in and Ai drove off with them towards the gate.

"Let's go, too." Yuya said and he carried Atem with him.

Dragon's Ravine – Below

Genesis continued to lay there, dying as every second past. She then heard footsteps approaching her direction. "So, you're the infamous Genesis Omega Dragon who created this universe."

"Wh-Who are you?" Genesis asked. "H-Help me…"

"Help you? I think I can do that, but in exchange you must help me." The man said.

"Why should I help you?" Genesis asked.

"Because I know a group of people that were made to kill dragons like you. My world is full of them." The man said.

"You're from another world?" Genesis asked.

"Yes, and despite my appearance, I'm actually over 400 years old. I've grown tired of living and have been researching ways to end my life, but I couldn't find any answers in my world. But your actions created the way to travel the multiverse. You may be of use to me and my other comrades."

Genesis heard another set of footsteps approaching her and the man. "So, this is why you called me here?"

"Yes, even though she is dying, her power still lingers. She can be of use to both of our plans. My wish to cease to exist and your wish to unite the world of the shinobi." The first man said.

"Hm…to be honest I had my doubts about the multiverse, but after seeing so many of them, they all must be united under our rule. And she can be of assistance for Project Tsuki No Me. Very well, we'll take her in and I'll inform the others." The second man said.

"Very well." The first man picked up Genesis in his arms.

"Oh, by the way, Zeref. It seems something protected Tenrou Island from Acnologia's attack, so your little brother is actually safe for now." The second man said.

"Is that so? Well then there's still hope for me yet." Zeref smiled. "Speaking of plans? When are you going to begin yours, Madara?"

"We will start tomorrow. We'll find and capture the One Tailed Shukaku and soon, the Nine Tailed Fox." Madara said. "And then, the Multiverse will be under the order of the Dark Phoenix."

"Sounds fun." Zeref smiled and the two disappeared with Genesis with them.

"The gate in Egypt has reopened!" Reiji looked at his computer.

"Come on, let's go save our friend!" Aoi said as she and the other Guardians got on a plane.

Yuya smiled as he laid Atem down and ruffled his hair. He then walked away from him as Atem started to wake up and reach out to Yuya, who was disappearing.
