At the front of the Academy the Dread Yacht was docked for boarding. The Skylanders teams A-E were boarding the ship and preparing for departure. Spyro waited with Ron as the others boarded.

Eon: "Remember Spyro, this is a dangerous mission you are setting on, and all of Skylands is a sake."-Eon explained-"But be careful, for Kaos has the ultimate power and will most definitely have unlocked it by now. I fear he may destroy all of Skylands with its might.

Spyro: "I understand, Master."-said Spyro, confident-"And don't worry, I will stop Kaos, and I will save the core."

Eon: "Then I wish you the best of luck, Spyro."-said Eon, gravely-"But treat carefully, please."

Spyro nodded and walked onto the Dread Yacht to join the other Skylanders. Flynn then got onto the microphone and spoke to the Skylanders.

Flynn: "Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking, please be ready to..."

???: "Wait!"

Spyro looked up and saw Spotlight and Blackout arrive at the deck of the ship. He looked confused before they looked up.

Spotlight: "You didn't really think we'd be left out of this, did ya?"-asked Spotlight, confident-"It's out home at sake too!"

Spyro: "But I thought you two..."

Blackout: "Forget that we aren't part of a team!"-Blackout snapped-"We're Skylanders and we do what's best for the safety of Skylands".

Spyro looked back for a moment but realized the point and gave the two a solemn nod. Flynn then started the ship and took off, slowly making his way for the citadel.

Intro: Harmony

Kaos stood at the Balcony of his flying castle as it moved towards the Core of Light. He held his hands where they were at his eye level and sparked with green lightning. As he admired his powers, Glymshanks finally came hurdling into the room.

Glumshanks: "Hydra is bathed, sir."-said Glumshanks, tired

Kaos: "Good. Now let's get this destruction on!"-said Kaos, excited-"I'll be ready for when I can finally rule all of Skylands!"

Kaos then walked back into the castle and towards a table full of teacups. He cats green lightning bolts at the cups and they blast off into pieces. He then looks to his hands and laughs maniacally.

Spyro rested his arms on the railing of the Dread Yacht as they traveled through the clouds. His mind was set on only one thing, and that was the Legendary power. He knew he was only able to use it once, and this had to make it count.

???: "Are you okay?"

Spyro turned his head to see Cynder standing beside him, a concerned look on her face. Spyro looked down at the railing and stared to the clouds with a sigh.

Spyro: "I'm fine. I've just...been thinking."-said Spyro, guiltily-"We're about to face Kaos, and he has a power none of us could match, except that I have one."

Cynder: "You do!?"-said Cynder, shocked-"Then why not use it?"

Spyro: "Because I can only use it once!"-Spyro snapped, slightly scaring Cynder-"I'm sorry it's just, the legendary power can only be used one time. What if I need it again after this?"

Cynder placed her paw on Spyro's back to comfort him. He looked up and saw Cynder who embraced him in a hug.

Cynder: "Spyro I've known you for years."-Cynder consoled-"I know you'll make the right choice."

Spyro smiled and nodded as Cynder slowly separated from him. The two kiss each other on the lips and suddenly everything around them seemed to just fade from existence. The two separated and nodded to each other in contentment.

Flynn: "Skylanders this is you captain speaking!"-said Flynn, loudly-"We are now approaching the citadel."

Cali: "Do you have to do that every time?"-asked Cali, annoyed

Flynn: "Yes!"

The Dread Yacht came to a clumsy landing at the side of the citadel. The Skylanders all got off and went to the Core of Light.

Terrafin: "Okay seriously is any part of that ship not held together by duct tape and bubble gum?"-asked Terrafin, angrily

Chop Chop: "Stayed focused, Terra."-said Chop Chop, annoyed-"Kaos could be here in a few hours or a few minutes or..."

Wind-Up "Or as we speak!"

They all look up to see Kaos defending down to the ground. They all draw their weapons and get into fighting posses across from Kaos.

Spyro: "What happened to you, Kaos?"-Spyro teased-"Fell asleep in a pool of grape juice?"

Kaos: "Oh you'll wish you could eat those words."-said Kaos, furiously-"And for the record this was just a side effect of this!"

Kaos shot green lightning bolts towards the Skylanders which they jumped out of the way. He sent more and Chop Chop used his shield to block. Spotlight then got behind Kaos and used her halos to bind him.

Spotlight: "Not so tough now, are ya?"-Spotlight gloated

Kaos smirked and sparks emitted from his body and a cloud of smoke appeared. Kaos now seemed to be made of crystal and floated up into the air, punching Spotlight away from him. Blackout then swooped in and grabbed Spotlight. Ignitor attempted to swing his sword at Kaos but he summoned a sword of his own and blocked the attack. Prism Break attempted to use his crystal but they were quickly shattered. Hex and Sunburn tried attacking but were knocked aside by Kaos' newfound wings. Flameslinger tried to ward off Kaos with arrows while Stealth Elf tried to jump and tackle Kaos. This ended with them both being knocked to the ground. Kaos then managed to knock all the Skylanders to the ground with a surge of power. Spyro looked around and saw his friends, all weak and injured as Kaos gloated to the core.

Kaos: "Now if you'll excuse me, I have Skylands to conquer."-Kaos gloated

Spyro felt helpless as his friends struggled to breathe from the impact. He then looked to Cynder and then to Kaos who readied to destroy the Core of Light. Spyro gathered his strength and staggered onto his feet. He then tapped into his mind and began glowing. In a flash of light Spyro's scales turned deep blue and golden while hid eyes were a vibrant gold shade. He then swooped forward and effectively tackled Kaos.

Spyro: "No one hurts my friends!"

Spyro through Kaos up into the air and slammed him into the ground. Kaos slashed his swords but Spyro caught them and broke them in his grip. Spyro then let out a jet of golden flames that sent Kaos into another island. Kaos dashed forward and Spyro did the same and the two broke out in a fight. Kaos tried to grab Spyro but he grabbed him and jetted to the ground. Kaos used his lightning while Spyro blasted his fire as they both collided with the ground, transforming back to their normal forms. The other Skylanders ran to the clearing and found Kaos passed out in front of their very eyes. Cynder then tan to Spyro who spun her in his arms.

Spyro: "It is done!"

Upon their return, the Skylanders were all greeted by Eon at the Academy. He seemed happy like they all did.

Eon: "Skylanders you have fought valiantly and have saved Skylands yet again."-said Eon, proudly-"I would like to humbly congratulate you yet again."

The Skylanders all cheered and whistled at their new accomplishment. Spyro turned to Cynder and nodded who exchanged it as they looked into the sky.

Author's Note: "And there you have it, the end of season five. Now I'm sorry if a few chapters seemed rushed it's just I have a lot of ideas out into season four so I had to think of things on the spot. Anyway I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you in the next fanfic I write.
