Hello, and thank you for reading what I consider a simple but hopefully still entertaining read!
This is a shorter story with the one goal being for me to write the whole cast of th17 in one go, establishing at least the most basic idea of what I think some of their personalities and interactions would be! Obviously the best time would have been back when th17 or even 17.5 was still the most recent entry in the series, but I'm obviously several years late to that...
I had conceived of the story that long ago, but lost interest for one reason or another. Funny enough, th19 releasing and the fact that it featured most of the Animal Realm crew played a role in making me want to get this old idea out there again! Then it took longer than expected too because I kept changing my mind on so many aspects and the scale of the story, and would I take into account the inclusions of lore from 19?
Ultimately I decided to keep it simple and focusing on only the th17 cast (plus a cameo from a certain taotie!). Maybe one day I'll do a more elaborate story featuring these characters. I especially would like to dig into Yachie and her relationship with the other leaders in the Animal Realm! But if I ever do, it'll be a long ways away, because there's so many other Touhou stories I want to write in the meantime! For now, I'm content to let this one be the story to cap off the year, and move forward with the hopes of a better one as always! n_n
