Summary of the previous 10 chapters of SatCS:
Chapter 9 - Shaula is finally back. Subaru is depressed that she doesn't recognize him. Shaula is defensive and uncertain about him.
Chapter 10 - It's not just Subaru Shaula doesn't recognize, she doesn't recognize Meili either. Felix makes another diagnosis, confirming that Shaula is perfectly healthy, but she has amnesia. All her memories of her past life and of Subaru were gone.
Chapter 11 - Emilia and Ram receive a letter from Subaru, informing them of what happened at Crusch's estate. Subaru and the other members of the Emilia camp set off with the newest addition, the recently restored Shaula. Subaru tells Shaula about the other members of the Emilia camp and how funny they are. Shaula slowly starts warming up to Subaru and the other members she's travelling with
Chapter 12 - Shaula meets the other members of the Emilia camp and Emilia and Ram are surprised by the way she acts.
Chapter 13 - Subaru remembers advice that Wilhelm gave him when he was at Crusch's manor. He gets a proposal from one of the Lord's daughters and decides to accept the offer to meet the Lord's daughter.
Chapter 14 - Shaula gets hired as a new maid in the Roswaal manor. She goes on a trip to Costuul with Rem and Spica to pick up some supplies. Unexpectedly, she finds Subaru, having lunch with a horrible woman. One thing leads to another and Shaula punches the arrogant woman in the face.
Chapter 15 - Emilia is horrified that Shaula struck a Lord's daughter. But she is absolutely furious at Subaru, getting angry at him for spending time with another woman, even though Subaru tries to reassure her nothing happened. Shaula still high off her annoyance from before, defends Subaru, calling Emilia out as controlling and possessive.
Chapter 16 - Emilia takes what Shaula said to heart, feeling conflicting feelings rise up inside her. Frederica once again, imparts her wisdom onto Emilia and helps her gain a different perspective. Subaru and Shaula have their first reading and writing lesson together. Shaula is grateful for Subaru's help and wants to continue with him.
Chapter 17 - Two months after Shaula was integrated into Emilia's camp, Subaru feels empty on his date with Emilia now, no longer bringing him joy. Subaru asks Rem to join him for a walk in the flower gardens. Subaru, miserable from his stagnant relationship with Emilia and desperation for a love in his life, want to confess to Rem, but she stops him. She gives him clarity and a perspective he desperately needed. He realised the identity of the woman he loved. It wasn't Emilia. Or Rem. But Shaula
Chapter 18 - Thanks to Rem's kind words, Subaru resolves himself to confess to Shaula. Subaru asks Shaula to the flower fields and he confesses to her with all his heart. He was uncertain and nervous once he had poured his heart out to her, but with that one kiss, Subaru finally, after so long, found a woman he loved who actually loved him back.
Now that Subaru and Shaula are finally together, things can really start getting fluffy, wholesome, dramatic and spicy!
