The Carousel Murders

Chapter Five

The killer of the Naval officer exhausted walked into his motel room at the Green Swam only a few miles from the Coney Island Amusement Park.

He was able to pay by cash as the owner of the motel greeted him with a half-baked smile having to be working all night until the morning shift came on in two hours.

Mr. Johnson was able to hand the killer into his hands the key to room 120 having to be on the second level. "Here you go, sir. Have a good evening sleeping or anything else," he says with a comical response as the killer didn't let it bother him at all.

After signing the register as Mr. Harold Johnson with the fake I.D. and other items that Mr. Johnson had asked for.

Meanwhile after finishing up with leaving the office. He will head out into the chill and the moonlit sky for the evening. He will take the stairs up to his room 120 with the key in hand.

After entering the small rooms with a bathroom, bedroom, and small kitchen. He headed for the bedroom closing the shades of the two windows leading to the main street.

Sitting down at the edge of the twin bed covered with a blue blanket and two pillows. He began to undress for the next eight-plus hours of pure bliss of slumber. He hopes!

Leon Vance and Leroy Jethro Gibbs came back to his house where he and Gibbs had spent a great many hours together.

Gibbs had been sitting on the long lounge brown couch as he was reading the only copy that was given to him by Leon and the White House.

Sipping his favorite drink in one hand the other reading the report. This particular report had been tied up with the NCIS team heading for Coney Island and the death of the Naval Officer involved deeply with Organized crime mostly.

Gibbs yawned slightly while reading the report with his glasses. He will lift all of his grey hair now with Leon waiting for his response.

"And what exactly I am supposed to be doing with the case Leon?" he asked calmly finishing the last of his drink.

Leon had gotten off the grey lounger sitting in the corner while the TV was down all of the way down. "What I want you to do Jethro is work with the team to find out why this particular officer had been murdered?" he advised even though the answer was basically within the report.

"Besides what else Leon?" he will say coly with his question.

Slamming his hand on the grey lounger couch. Leon moves up from it rubbing it slightly to tell Gibbs the following.

"I want you to find the answer to the murder along with what's inside of the report Gibbs." he cried out with continued to rub his hand.

Gibbs makes the following remark. "That's smart Leon!" He will take off his glasses that were given to him by the doctor while living in Alaska for the past two-plus years.
