UzumakiRamen: Thank you, i'm glad you like it :). And about your request, I was very doubtful about Ochako, Momo and Melissa, but I confess that I'm leaning towards Melissa. I like all three of them, Ochako being my favorite, but Melissa and Izuku have practically the same origin in this story, and I also believe that she would be a great partner for him. But it's not definite, I may change my mind in the future, who knows?

Chapter 05: Not the Big Deal

Today, today is the day of the class that Izuku was most looking forward to having, Heroic Fundamentals, the teacher was, until then, unknown, but in some forums that the boy frequents there was a buzz about U.A's new teacher, All Might, that It just proves that nothing stays hidden forever, even if they weren't sure.

After the same train journey, there he was again in front of the school, and he was still impressed by its size.

Arriving in his room, he was greeted by his friends, Tenya, Ochako and Melissa, who was much lighter after yesterday's ordeal.

'Are we friends already?' A naughty thought appeared in Izuku's mind.

After all the students arrived, the first class began, Literature, taught by Cementoss, a fairly common class, in Izuku's opinion, apart from the fact that a professional hero was the teacher.

'Even if it's the hero course, we can't be dumb in the end.'

The next era of Modern Hero Art History, with Midnight, a strange class, more due to the woman's mannerisms than the class itself.

And the last class before lunch was English, with Present Mic, a standard sentence correction and communication class, very monotonous, considering the teacher.

Lunch time finally arrived, and right after it, would be the class long awaited by the greenish boy, who was sitting at a table with Ochako, Melissa and Tenya.

"Who do you think will be the teacher for the next class?" Ochako asked while eating her lunch.

"It's not known for sure, but maybe it's Aizawa-Sensei, since he's our class teacher, he can take on that role as well." Said Tenya, who was in front of her at the table.

Izuku, hearing the content of the conversation, decided to give his opinion. "I'm not sure, but when I got my letter from U.A, All Might introduced himself as a new teacher, it could be him, it would be amazing if it was true." Izuku said, noticing an exasperated look from Melissa.

"Do you think it could really be him?" The blonde asked, trying to hide her exasperation, which attracted Izuku's attention.

"All Might?! Wow, that would be really amazing, I wonder what kind of things he could teach us." Ochako spoke, almost bouncing in her seat in excitement.

"Indeed, it would be an honor to be under All Might's tutelage." Tenya said, expressing himself in a strange way, and Ochako questioned him about it.

"Iida-Kun, can I ask you something? Are you a rich boy?" The girl asked, surprising Tenya and the other two.

"Hmm, I really tried to hide it, but it seems like I wasn't able to…Yes, I'm a 'rich boy'. Do you know Turbo Hero, Ingenium?" Tenya said, intriguing the others with his question.

"Yes, he is a very popular hero, he has an agency with many helpers." Izuku replied, with the girls' agreement.

"Indeed, Ingenium is an honorable hero who saved several lives, and a great leader. He is my brother, and I am completely inspired by him to become a hero." Tenya said, his proud look and tone showed his admiration for his brother.

"No kidding, you're Ingenium's brother?! So you come from a family of heroes!" Izuku said, his fanboy side appearing once again, pulling out his notebook out of nowhere and starting to write down new information.

"Yes, the Iida family comes from a long tradition of heroism, and I intend to become the newest hero in my family." Replied the robot boy, attracting admiring looks from his friends.

"This is amazing!" Melissa said, thinking about her own goal.

After lunch time, they waited for the class time and went to the classroom.

Inside, with everyone present and a series of questions about who the teacher was, everyone heard heavy footsteps outside and followed by a booming voice.

"I AM…Entering the room like a normal person!" Shouted the number one hero as he entered the room in a ridiculous pose, he was wearing his silver age costume.

And his entrance obviously drew emotional gasps from all the students, most seeing him in person for the first time.

"Ohh, it's All Might, so he's going to be our teacher?!" Denki said, his eyes wide and shining like stars.

"This class is going to be super manly!" Eijirou said, flexing his arms, clearly excited.

"That's the silver age outfit, isn't it?" Tsuyu asked nobody in specific.

Izuku was, of course, almost having an orgasm upon seeing his idol once again.

'It's All Might, and now I can see him in his costume, that's incredible!' Thought the boy, covering his mouth with both hands to avoid the rain of mumbles.

"HAHAHAHA, well students, I'm sure you all know me, so I'll skip the presentations, I'll be your Heroic Fundamentals teacher, here we debate and simulate situations that can occur in a hero's career." Said the blonde giant, drawing all eyes to him, as expected. "In today's class, we will start with a simulation, of what? You must be wondering, I will show you!" Said the hero, raising a sign that had something written: Battle Simulation.

"Battle-" Katsuki said, smiling like a crazy person.

"Simulation." Izuku spoke, and without knowing it, he finished the statement of his warm bully.

"But! What would heroes be without their costume, right?!" Said the hero, pressing a device he took from somewhere, and behind him, on the wall, many compartments opened, numbered from one to twenty.

"In these compartments are your costumes designed by yourselves, each one has a designated class number, come here and get your costumes, get dressed and then go to the Ground Beta, see you there!" He said, rushing out the door, leaving only a trail of dust.

Anyway, everyone picked up their bags and headed to the beta ground locker room.

Already in the locker room, Izuku evaluated his suit, and he had to say, it was spectacular.

As specified by him, the costume was full body, except for the gloves, boots and mask, his suit was mainly dark green and black, the torso had a green front part, with a white spider on the chest, the back was in black, and it continued in that color along the ribs and the inside of the arms, apart from the white spider in the middle of the back, it also had a green hood, but the inside of the hood was black, the legs were also black.

The gloves and boots were also green, the mask was black, it was not a complete mask, leaving the hair, nose and mouth uncovered, with large white lenses present in the mask.

(A.N: If you're confused about understanding the makeup of the costume, imagine Spider-Man's classic suit, but with the same shade of green as Izuku's Beta Suit instead of red and black instead of blue, in addition to the other features that I described. And the mask is the same as Julia Carpenter's, Madame Web from the comics, since Izuku wants to show people his warm smile.)

And to top it off, the green parts of his costume had a black web pattern, it was beautiful.

Izuku soon put on the mask to test the function he asked for, the function of emulating his facial expressions, and also the lenses could focus, like a zoom.

He spent so much time admiring his new outfit that he almost wasted time, putting it on quickly, it was very practical to wear, and after it was on, he noticed something about the outfit. It was very tight, it wasn't uncomfortable, but it marked his body.

'I hope it doesn't mark my ass too much.' The boy thought, heading to the ground.

Arriving there, Izuku saw some of his colleagues already dressed, especially Tenya, Momo and Tooru. The robot boy wore white armor, he looked like a mix of a knight and a car. Momo wore a very revealing costume, don't blame her, apparently she needs exposed skin to use her quirk. The invisible girl was almost like that, except for the gloves and boots she was wearing, meaning she was completely naked, much to Izuku's exasperation.

Izuku could only recognize Tenya because he was without his helmet, so he decided to approach and greet him.

"Iida-Kun, your costume is amazing, it looks like this design runs in the family, huh?" Izuku said, recognizing the design of his costume, being similar to those of his family.

"Midoriya-Kun, your costume is amazing too, why did you choose the spider theme?" Tenya asked the green masked, who smiled in response.

"Haven't you noticed yet, Iida-Kun? It's because of my quirk, it gives me the abilities of a spider, so I decided to get into the topic once and for all." Izuku spoke, receiving a nod of understanding from the other.

"Iida-Kun, Midoriya-Kun, there you are!" They heard Ochako's voice behind them, turning around, they saw that Melissa was next to her.

And when looking at the girls, Izuku almost had a meltdown. Ochako wore an astronaut themed costume, pink and black, large pink boots that reached up to her knees, pink armbands also on her wrists, a typical astronaut helmet, almost, and what most caught the greenish's attention, the tight outfit of the girl, who didn't make the slightest effort to show her curves to anyone who wanted. Melissa was also in the same boat, her outfit was predominantly blue, with red shoulders, gloves and boots, there were two yellow bands on her chest that met in the middle, forming an eight-pointed star, and to top it off, a scarf around her hips, and of course, also tight to the body.

At this point, Izuku is grateful for having the idea for the mask, at least it hid some of his redness.

"G-Girls…Y-You look great…" Izuku said, barely able to speak, he was close to fainting.

"You sure? It didn't go quite the way I wanted, I forgot to ask for it not to be so tight." Ochako said, scratching the back of her head in embarrassment.

"It's fine, you too Shield-San, your costume suits you." Izuku said, sending a thumbs up, while Tenya just watched the conversation unfold.

During the conversation between the three, more students arrived, each one more interesting than the other, especially Todoroki Shoto, who seemed to be making a reference to that character from the pre-quirk era, Terminator.

After everyone was present, All Might started the class.

"Well, students, I must say that you look amazing, I hope you get your hero names right too." Said the man, half joking. "Let's start this class, look, it will be a battle of teams, more specifically of pairs, you will be drawn with your pairs, so don't worry about elaborating anything, it will all be random." Said the hero, making Tenya raise his hand.

"Sensei, sorry to interrupt, but do you think the draw is the best way to do this?" The boy asked, but the one who answered was Izuku.

"It makes sense, Iida-Kun, most of the time heroes don't have a choice about their teams, they team up with whoever is in the place." He said, getting a nod from the other boy.

"I see, really insightful, from an early age school is preparing us for the real world, sorry once again for the interruption." Tenya said, bowing to All Might, who was nervous about the student's spirit.

"No problem, young Iida, now let's not waste any more time, let's start the draw!" Exclaimed the hero, pointing to a box on a table."Each of you will come here and take a letter from the box."

After the draw, Izuku picked the letter A, and his partner…Melissa Shield.

"It looks like it will be the two of us Midoriya-Kun." Said the girl, smiling at the greenish.

"Y-Yes…We will do a good job." Izuku replied, smiling nervously.

"Alright newbies, now we are going to hold another draw, this time, we will draw the teams of heroes and villains that will face each other, and the battles will take place in alphabetical order, team A will be the first and so on." Said the hero, pulling out two boxes with an H and V on each one.

After another draw, the A team of heroes, Izuku and Melissa, face the J team of villains, Eijiro and Hanta, and as All Might said, they would be first.

"Interesting…Kirishima-Kun has a very good quirk for hand-to-hand combat, and Sero-Kun has a quirk that can easily trap us. If he catches us off guard, it could be the end." Izuku mumbled, attracting an interested look from Melissa.

"That would really be a problem." The girl said, interrupting Izuku's mumbles, who looked at her in surprise.

"You…Can you understand me?" Izuku asked, cautiously.

"Of course, I used to do that too." The blonde replied, smiling friendly.

'This is dangerous, I can't think about the nonsense around her.' Izuku thought, but...

"Don't worry about it, I know what it's like." Said the girl, seeming to read his thoughts, but he actually spoke in a good tone.

'Damn...' Izuku thought, however, Tenya decided to ask All Might another question.

"Sensei, I see we are in the fake city of the entrance exam, will the battle take place throughout the city?" Tenya asked, catching the hero's attention.

"I will answer your question, young Iida, during the explanation of the simulation." At this moment, All Might pulls out a piece of paper and starts reading it, and Izuku notices that Melissa made an expression of disbelief.

"In this battle, you will not fight in the city, but in a building, why? You ask yourselves, and I answer you! You newbies may not know, as only the most eye-catching battles are broadcast to the public, all in open spaces, but it's not always like that." The hero began his explanation, attracting everyone's attention. "You see, the smartest villains don't show themselves in public, they are always the ones who hide, and therefore, sometimes, the biggest battles occur indoors, where the villains have the advantage."

"So, in this simulation, the villains will be in possession of a fake bomb, they will put it anywhere in the building."Said All Might, pointing to a building behind him.

"It's up to the heroes to recover the bomb or stop the villains to win, the villains win by defeating the heroes or when time comes to an end. Take this exercise seriously, but if I feel the need, I will intervene personally." Said the hero, leaving the threat in the air.

"Let's begin, team J, you enter now, choose a place to place the bomb, heroes you will go to the waiting room of the building, you will all have ten minutes to plan your strategies. The others will come with me to the observation room, where we can watch the battle. Good luck to you." Said All Might, heading to another building with the students following, except Ochako and Tenya, who stayed behind to talk to their friends.

"Midoriya-Kun, Shield-Chan, don't worry, I'm sure you'll do fine." Said the girl, smiling at both of them.

"Exactly, act like two heroes should and you will do an exceptional job." Tenya said, making a drop run down the back of the other three's necks.

"Thank you, both of you, we will do our best." The two said, waving to their friends and heading to the waiting room.

In the waiting room they had some chairs and a plan of the building, and that's when the planning began.

"Shield-San, what are you-" Izuku started, but the girl interrupted him.

"Melissa." Said the blonde.

"Eh?" Izuku expressed his confusion.

"My friends call me Melissa, I know it goes against Japanese customs, but I want you to call me Melissa." The girl said, smiling warmly at the greenish man.

"I-I-I…..A-Alright, Sh-Melissa." Izuku replied, stuttering and smiling nervously, and mentally thanking him for the mask…Again.

"S-So, what do you think of the circumstances? I think Sero-Kun will be the one to defend the bomb, and Kirishima-Kun will come to confront us." Izuku said, looking at the blueprint of the building.

"It's a possibility, very likely too, and I think they will put the bomb on the upper floors, to make it difficult for our side." The girl added her point, receiving an understanding nod from Izuku.

"Yes, but it's not a problem, I can climb outside and find the correct floor." Izuku said, receiving a puzzled look from the girl.

"It makes me wonder, we haven't formally introduced our quirks until now, have we? Mine is called Spider, and well…I think you can figure out what it does from its name, hehe." Izuku said, trying to be funny at the end, and it was clearly horrible.

"Amazing, you can do everything a spider can?" Melissa asked, looking fascinated at her greenish friend.

"Well, not everything, I can't lay eggs, luckily, I also haven't developed a taste for insects, and my webs don't come out of...You get it, they come out of my wrists." Izuku replied, showing a small tube in his glove, for the web to have free passage.

"A very versatile quirk, without a doubt...I think it's my turn, my quirk is called, Energy Stock, it allows me to store energy in my body, and when i free it, it gives me incredible strength, but my body is not prepared enough for the maximum level I produce, so it breaks down." Melissa said thoughtfully, thinking about how she could use her power in a closed place like that.

With this new information, something clicked in Izuku's mind, the same doubt he had yesterday.

"Shie-M-Melissa, if I may ask, have you ever trained with your quirk before?" Izuku asked, and clearly noticed the girl's apprehensive look. "Don't get me wrong, in your place I would probably be scared, if every time I used my quirk it broke my limbs, I wouldn't-"

"I didn't have time…" The girl replied, she knew she shouldn't reveal too much about her situation, after all it was very suspicious, but she felt that the greenish was completely trustworthy. "I didn't…I didn't have my quirk until a week ago." The girl said, completely surprising Izuku.

"All my life I grew up thinking I didn't have a quirk, but one day, my uncle showed up and told me I had a quirk, and it was similar to his, which he also started late, and so he taught me how to bring it out, but my body needed to be ready for it…I was only able to manifest it on the day of the entrance exam." The girl told her story, and Izuku's chin was almost on the floor, his mask expressed his surprise well, right in front of him was an almost female version of him, but with different circumstances, a complete déjà-vu.

"I…I understand, Melissa…I'm-" Izuku was interrupted again.

[AND IT STARTS!]

They heard All Might's voice in their listening, starting the exercise.

"Okay, we'll talk more about this later." Izuku said, focus evident in his tone, receiving a nod from the girl.

And so the two left the room, and in the end, they didn't plan anything.

"Are you comfortable with me going looking for the bomb? As soon as I find her I will come back and help you." Izuku suggested, looking at the girl, to which she agreed.

"Okay, go ahead, if it's Kirishima, I can slow him down." The blonde replied, looking determined, and Izuku smiled back.

"Right, don't steal all the fun, heroine." Izuku said, running to a window and climbing out of it, and left the girl laughing alone.

"Leave it to me, hero." Said the blonde, heading to the stairs.

In the observation room, everyone watched the two teams talk to each other, they just watched, they couldn't hear anything, just All Might.

"So, who do you think wins?" Denki asked, looking at the class.

"Midoriya and Shield have great physical strength, and Midoriya has those things that come out of his wrist, Kirishima has an advantage in hand-to-hand combat because of his quirk, and Sero would be great to bind them with his tapes, I think here What will decide who wins is who takes down the enemies the fastest." Said the Emo Crow, Tokoyami Fumikage, covered in his black cape.

"I agree with Tokoyami, we don't know the full extent of his quirks, so this scenario is the most likely." Momo said, looking analytically at the monitors.

"We can't forget that Shield breaks her bones whenever she uses her quirk, this could be an advantage for the villains." Said the rocker girl, Jiro Kyoka, poking her earphones.

What she said affected All Might, even if it was imperceptible to others.

'Young Jiro is right, I should have instructed her more.' Thought the Blonde Goliath, his heart restless in apprehension.

'Good luck, Melissa.' The hero concluded his thoughts by rooting for his niece.

Melissa was on the third floor, looking everywhere, listening for footsteps on the floors above or near her.

"Maybe it's not Kirishima, I think he would already be here." Melissa said, looking around, until...

"HA, I heard you Shield!" Eijirou's voice shouted, and the girl heard footsteps coming from the stairs, and from there the Manly Redhead jumped, ready for combat.

"Eh? Where is Midoriya, I wanted to face you two!" The redhead said, looking around, disappointed.

"He…Went the other way, looking for you." The blonde replied, trying to make an excuse.

"Ohh, I knew he wanted to face me, it will be a very manly fight! But first I will defeat you, I want to see if I can withstand your manly power!" shouted the redhead, moving forward for an attack, stiffening his arm for a punch.

As he approached, the blonde dodged and gained some distance from him, and then she brought her fingers to the communicator in her ear.

"Midoriya-Kun, Kirishima is with me." The blonde said, looking closely at the redhead, who was approaching again.

[Okay, I found the room.]

Izuku was peering through a window on the sixth floor, the room was filled with tapes, it looked like a spider's nest, and Silver-Tape was standing in the center, looking at the door.

[Midoriya-Kun, Kirishima is with me.] The boy heard his partner's voice on the wire.

"Okay, I found the room, it's on the sixth floor, I just don't know where the bomb is, Sero-Kun covered everything with tape." The boy whispered, looking around the room.

[Can you find her? Wow! Crack!] Izuku heard the girl scream and soon after a sound of something breaking, and he was obviously worried.

"Melissa, are you okay there?" Izuku whispered worriedly.

[Yes, Kirishima broke the wall with one punch. MIDORIYA, COME FIGHT WITH ME!] Izuku just sweated nervously, that redhead was a figure.

"Do you want help?" The greenish boy asked.

[No need, find the bomb.]

"Okay…" The boy whispered, entering the room silently, looking around, he realized that a fight was inevitable, Hanta wouldn't let him search the room quietly.

Deciding to embody a confident hero persona, as he had planned well before joining the course, the boy started a conversation with his opponent.

"You know…" The greenish started, making Hanta feel scared, jumping like a cat. "You did a great job here, have you ever thought about being an artist?"

"How did you get in?! I covered the door with tape!" The boy asked, preparing for combat.

"If a door closes, enter through the window." Izuku said, pointing to the window behind him.

"I know it might be too much, but can you tell me where the bomb is, so we don't waste time in a fight, how about that?" Izuku asked, smiling friendly, but was met with a tape shot, which Izuku nimbly dodged.

"I don't think so! If you want the bomb, you'll have to defeat me!" Silver-Tape responded, throwing more tapes, which were dodged again.

"Just to be clear, I tried to resolve it in dialogue!" Izuku said, shooting a web at the other boy's chest, and then pulled himself towards him, kicking him with his two feets, and consequently, Hanta rolled back, feeling the pain of the kick.

WHAM! CRACK!

"Stop dodging and fight like a man!" Eijirou shouted, moving forward for another attack, as Melissa had been dodging them all.

"I am a girl!" The blonde responded, dodging again, and when the redhead stuck her arm once again, she decided to attack.

'It's now!' Thought the blonde, pointing her hand at the redhead, and in the observation room, everyone was anxious that the blonde had decided to attack with her quirk.

"SMASH!" shouted the blonde, snapping her index finger towards the redhead, who looked at the shock wave coming towards him with wide eyes, only having time to harden his entire body for the impact. Which didn't take long to come.

BAM!

"Aargh!"

FOOSH!

The redhead felt the impact on his side, and was soon thrown away by the wind, breaking the wall he was trapped in and a few others, until he invaded a room, destroying its wall.

"Oww…I felt that..." The redhead said, taking a while to get up, dazed, removing some debris from his back.

Melissa looked at the damage in a daze, maybe it wasn't a good idea.

[Young Shield, I ask you not to use that attack again! That was incredibly reckless, it could bring the building down on your heads!] Melissa heard All Might's voice on the wire, and he was right, that was very reckless.

[Melissa! Was that you?! Everything is fine?!] She listened to Izuku this time.

"Yes, Midoriya-Kun, it was me, I landed an attack on Kirishima, but I can't use it again, Un-All Might already warned me." The blonde replied, watching the redhead get up from the rubble, shaking his head, dazed.

"I'll have to buy time until you get the bomb." Said the blonde, preparing for another fight, barely feeling her broken finger.

[Okay, you can do it! I'm already done here!]

And true to his word, Izuku was handling the fight well, in fact, joking would be a better word.

"Oops!" The greenish one said, dodging yet another shot of tape, and jumping to the wall, sticking to it.

"Are you sure you're a villain and not a walking stationery store? I mean, next time I need to wrap a present, I know who to call, the Tape-Man!" Izuku said, making a pun on the boy.

"Stop that shit! Since when do you act like this?!" Silver-Tape replied, clearly angry, for him the greenish boy was a shy guy, he couldn't be wrong…Right?

"Don't be angry, Tape-Man." The spider boy replied, still joking. "But I feel that our fight has come to an end, I need to ease my partner's burden."

With that, the spider boy jumped off the wall and began to swing around Hanta, throwing a web line at the boy. He was spinning and trapping the boy in a cocoon of webs, and to finish, he pinned him to the wall, leaving just his head free.

"Okay, now stay here while I look for the bomb." Izuku said, leaving the stunned Hanta stuck to the wall, his mouth imitating that of a fish.

"Hang on! How do you know it's here? I could have put it in another room." Hanta tried to delay the greenish boy, but it didn't work.

"Just from your surprise at first, it was clear it was here, now be a good prisoner and tell me where it is." Izuku said, looking closely at his opponent, his lenses narrowing.

"Look for it yourself, I won't say anything." Hanta said, sulking, but still stuck to the wall.

"Tough, huh? Alright, so." Izuku said, turning to look for the bomb.

[Melissa, I arrested Sero-Kun, I'm going to look for the bomb now.] The blonde listened to her partner, and smiled confidently.

"Understood, look quickly, Kirishima is a hard faller." She barely finished her speech, and had to dodge yet another attack from the redhead.

"Wait! Midoriya defeated Sero?! I have to go!" Shouted the redhead, running away from the blonde, towards the stairs.

"Wait, no!" Melissa shouted, running after him. "Midoriya-Kun, Kirishima is coming, I'm going after him, but he's already gone ahead of me." The girl alerted her partner, and continued accelerating to catch up with the redhead.

"Damn…" Izuku cursed, and then ran to find the bomb, tearing the tapes in his path, to no avail.

That's when he heard hurried footsteps outside, and the door was suddenly ripped off its hinges.

"Midoriya!" Eijirou shouted, bursting into the room, but he didn't see anyone.

"Huh…Where is he?" The redhead wondered, looking around.

"Uhmm! Uhmmm!"

Looking in the direction of the sound, the redhead saw his partner completely trapped in what looked like webs, his mouth covered as well.

"Sero, what happened?!" Eijirou asked, going to help him, but…

"SHAZAM!" Izuku shouted, swinging from a web and kicking the redhead to the other side of the room.

"My bad, redhead, but that's just between me and him, you weren't invited." Izuku said, shooting webs at Eijirou, apparently trapping him, but didn't notice that his hand was still free.

And at that moment, Melissa entered the room, panting from the rush.

"Midoriya-Kun, did you catch him?!" The blonde asked, looking at the trapped redhead.

"I caught him off guard, now help me here, we're running out of time." And so the two started tearing up the tapes, there were only a few places left to look, and that's when Spider-Sense showed up.

With the world in slow motion, Izuku looked back and saw Eijirou running towards them preparing a punch, acting quickly, Izuku turned and charged to the redhead, stopping him in his tracks, but measuring his strength.

"I won't let you get the bomb!" Eijirou shouted, hardening his entire body and forcing his dispute even more.

"Melissa, find the bomb!" Izuku shouted, applying more strength and pushing the redhead against the wall, crossing it and the two falling into the corridor

Melissa, while Izuku fought Eijirou, continued her search for the bomb, even without Izuku's super strength, she was able to break through the tapes, just more slowly.

She started tearing up the tapes, and hearing the knocks in the hallway, until...

"Aaaahh!" Eijirou flew through the hole, being thrown into the hallway and many web shots followed him.

"Stay there for good!" Izuku shouted at the redhead, and ran into the room again.

"No luck?" The boy asked the blonde.

"No, I can't find it at all, it seems like they disappeared with-" She stopped when she looked at the ceiling and saw a very distinct shape wrapped in tape.

"Could it be?" The blonde asked, pointing to the ceiling, and Izuku looked too, his mouth opening in an 'O'.

"I can't believe it, it was there this whole time?!" The greenish boy said, mentally slapping himself, and then jumped on the ceiling and tore the tapes, seeing that it was in fact the bomb.

"We did it!" shouted the boy, touching the bomb, and after a while.

[The Hero Team won!]

Everyone present heard All Might's voice and an invisible weight seemed to be lifted from the heroes' shoulders.

Izuku returned to the ground, and then greeted the exhausted blonde.

"You did great, Melissa." Izuku said, placing a hand on her shoulder, smiling at her.

"No need to lie, Midoriya-Kun, I wasn't much help." Replied the blonde, looking down, but still smiling a little.

"Don't take your credit for granted, we are a team, and we win as a team." Izuku said, trying to motivate his friend, but not knowing if he was successful.

'From your experiences, I think her self-esteem is similar to mine...' Izuku thought, and when he was about to say something more, All Might interrupted.

[Everyone go back to the observation room, we will evaluate your performance.]

The two looked at each other, nodded and left, but…

"Uhmm, uhmm!"

Looking in the direction of the sound, they saw Hanta, glaring at them.

"Ah yes, sorry Sero-Kun, I forgot you were here." Izuku said, going to his colleague and breaking the webs, freeing the poor guy.

"Dude…I realized you forgot me! Let's go already!" Silver-Tape complained, quickly leaving the room. "Don't forget Kirishima too!"

Izuku just laughed nervously, his mistake after all.

Back in the observation room, everyone was grouped together, except for the two teams that participated, which were separated from others.

"You guys were great, some mistakes were made by everyone, but now we need to choose the MVP of the match, so can anyone say who it is?" Asked the hero, looking at the class.

"Sensei, I believe I know who it was." Momo said, raising her hand.

"Well then, tell me, young Yaoyorozu." The hero gave him permission to speak.

"I believe the MVP is Midoriya." The girl replied, to Izuku's shock.

"And even? Is it because?" Asked the hero, his tone giving away that he agreed.

"Because, even though he was wrong in some things, he was still the only one who acted as correctly as possible, he focused on eliminating the villains as quickly as possible, but he still took a long time with Sero for some reason, and eagerly searched for the bomb, making it his main objective." Momo said, not noticing Hanta's indignant snort and Izuku's embarrassed smile.

"Furthermore, the other person who came closest to the MVP position was Kirishima, as he always acted in favor of the team, and when he realized that Sero was in trouble he immediately went to help, what cost him this position were his thoughtless attacks and lack of spatial sense, not having checked the room properly and being caught off guard by Midoriya." The young woman continued her oratory, attracting incredulous looks from the others.

"Sero also did well, having thought of a good strategy to protect the bomb, but failed to assume that the door would be the opponents' only means of entry, they could have come from anywhere, given the feats of strength presented so far, and then it was quickly eliminated." Momo continued, making Hanta lower his shoulders, defeated.

"And Shield did the right thing by leaving the enemy's focus on himself, allowing his partner to look for the bomb with one less obstacle, but she fatally sinned by carrying out that attack in a closed place, putting everyone there at risk, as the building could collapse if hit upon in a specific location." The young woman finished, and the whole class remained silent.

"Yes…Exactly, young Yaoyorozu." Said All Might, sweating nervously at the girl's oratory. 'She said more than I thought.'

"Young Midoriya was the MVP of the match, for all the reasons that the young girl Yaoyorozu quoted." Declared the hero, making the class sweat, and Izuku gasped with emotion.

"Now, if any of you need to go to the infirmary, you can go, and if necessary, you are allowed to stay there." Said the hero, looking more specifically at Melissa, who nodded discreetly, also thinking she would need to see the old lady.

"See you later, M-Melissa, you were great there." Izuku said, receiving a wave from the girl who was leaving the room.

"Thank you Midoriya-Kun, see you later." Said the girl, smiling at him.

As the two interacted, an explosive blonde looked at the greenish boy with anger and at the girl with some apprehension.

'Damn Deku, he could only have hidden this quirk all this time, he wouldn't be so good if it wasn't. And this blonde, her quirk is strong, I don't know if she could withstand an attack like that, she destroyed all those walls just with the strength of the wind, I should be the big deal here!' Katsuki thought, boiling with anger, even more so when he listened to the praises of the nerd by others in the class.

"So your quirk allows you to do what a spider can? It's almost like mine, but with frogs instead of spiders." Tsuyu said, speaking to the greenish boy.

"You really are very flexible, aren't you? I could see it in yesterday's exam, but seeing you dodge in the air through the tapes was incredible." Said Mina, waving his arms excitedly.

"You may be shining today, but you won't be twinkling like me." Said the blonde Frenchman, Yuga, looking somewhere random.

"Alright, students, let's continue with the exercises, next teams, go!" Ordered the hero, and the next group went to the building, following the same procedure.

The match that followed was in a word, humiliating. Since Shoto froze the entire building, trapping the villains who barely left their seats.

All Might, seeing that from the observation room, even trembled a little.

"T-The heroes won." Said the hero, turning to the class. "W-We will have to use another building."

Of everyone present, the most shocked was Katsuki, who was staring at the monitor in absolutely shock.

'But…' Thought the shocked blonde.

and all the matches before yours followed, each student proving very skilled with their quirks, the creation girl, the infinity girl, the Somei bastard, even the lightning idiot.

'What the hell is happening here...This...This shouldn't happen.' Thought the blonde, looking down dazedly, thinking that maybe...Maybe...He wasn't the big deal there. The boy would remain in thought, but a voice took him out.

"Young Bakugo! It's your turn, I've been calling you for a while, go quickly." Said All Might, pointing to the door, where Tenya was waiting for him.

The blonde boy walked silently outside, attracting a look of doubt from Izuku.

After all the matches took place, it was time for All Might to say goodbye.

"Excellent students! Today you were exceptional, true heroes in training, but don't be arrogant, the next simulations will be more challenging. Now, I must go, get changed and go to your room to get your things, that's all for today, until next time!" Said the hero, running outside, leaving a trail of dust in his wake.

"Wow, he was in a rush, huh?" Denki said, waving his hand to clear away the dust.

"He must have other commitments, after all he is number one." Tenya said.

"Maybe, but today was amazing, I can't wait for the next class." Mina said excitedly, receiving nods from others.

No one noticed Katsuki leaving the room silently, except Izuku, who looked at his former friend's crestfallen appearance, even though he had won his match.

'I think…He's started to realize.' Thought the greenish boy, a slight hope bubbling up in his chest.

Notes:

Once again, good eves guys :D

Regarding Izuku's suit, I decided that the first one should be something 'simpler', since after a not-so-distant event he might redesign it, who knows?

And in case you hadn't noticed, Melissa's suit is very familiar, because it was completely based on Captain Marvel (Comics), are you going to tell me there's no resemblance? The blonde hair, the gold star on her chest, making an analogy with the stars of former OFA users, when I thought of an suit for her, only Carol of the comics came to my mind.

But that's it, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, see ya!
