Galinda took a short carriage ride to the Ozdust Outlets because she didn't want to walk in the freezing cold across campus to get there.
As soon as she got there, she takes the piece of paper out opens it.
Fiyero.
"Ooooooh! This should be interesting!" She whispers to herself making sure nobody hears.
Of course she already knew what to get for him despite him being her ex boyfriend, so she passed by the shops until she sees her favorite boutique.
That store always has the best clothes every season which is why she makes it her first choice.
There are men's clothes in that shop so she thought a blazer with matching pants are perfect for Fiyero.
She was about to go in however when she saw in the display window near the door.
A mannequin stood in the window showing off the latest outfit for the season. It's light pink strapless dress with snowflakes and layers on the bottom looking like a wedding cake.
"OOOOOOOH!" Galinda squeals as her eyes couldn't stop staring at it. Of course she knew that she couldn't waste time on looking at dresses.
Focus Galinda! Focus!
Must find a gift for Fiyero. No time to shop for dresses!
She immediately gets away from the dresses and went over to the men's section searching for something nice for Fiyero to wear when she came across something she has her eyes on.
It's a dark purple velvet button blazer with matching pants.
Galinda smiled brightly and touched it feeling the nice fabric. This is perfect for him to wear!
She was about to take it off the rack when she saw the dresses on the other side of the shop.
They all look beautiful for the wintertime. The colors are wonderful. Most are shimmering and sparkling like it's a gold mine.
The blonde desires to try them all on while she is here but doesn't want to leave the blazer alone fearing that someone might take it. Then again, she would be carrying a lot of dresses and gowns to the fitting room and it would be a struggle to carry the blazer along with everything else.
Of course not a lot of people shop for men's clothes here so she decided that she'll pick it up after she tried on all the dresses.
"Don't move, i'll be right back," she tells to it before rushing to the dresses.
An hour passes by and full of try ons and decisions later, Galinda eventually picked the best dress which is of course the one she found on the display window outside. She hands it over to the salesperson who takes it to the register while the blonde goes back to the men's section to find the blazer.
But once she made it, the blazer is already gone.
She gasped and immediately went over to the salesperson who is behind a register.
"Excuse me! I was wondering if the dark purple blazer is still there?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry but I sold the last one to a customer a few minutes ago," she replies to the blonde girl.
"Well is there another in the back?"
The salesperson shook her head sadly. "That was the only one left. I apologize miss."
Galinda's heart broke when she realized she made a huge mistake.
Dejected, she pays for her dress and walks out the store after wishing the salesperson Happy Lurlinemas.
"Stupid stupid Galinda!" She mutters to herself. She just had to try on dresses instead of buying Fiyero a present.
What will I buy for Fiyero now?
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I'm so sorry for the wait! It's been crazy busy here, baking ten different cookies, making cheese and meat boards, Secret Santa and rehearsing songs, it's all been chaotic that I haven't been writing much.
