It was Christmas Eve in Paris, with snow all around, and all was peaceful as Marinette, Popplio, Manon and Alya were making their way through the snow to Marinette's bakery where Marinette's parents, along with Florges and Machamp, were inside making Christmas logs. Alya looks over to see a Christmas donation bin with cut outs of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Machamp: [wearing a Santa hat] MACHAMP!
Tom & Sabine: 🎵Merry Christmas to all!🎵
Marinette: 🎵Mom and Dad, I'll help you in the bakery. To hand the Christmas logs to all my friends you see. [Marinette passes the log to Alya but it falls. Alya catches it.] Merry Christmas Alya and your family!🎵
Alya: [boops her nose] 🎵Thanks my BFF, the same to you three!🎵
Alix, her father, and Goh arrive, as Marinette passes another log to them.
Marinette: 🎵Goh, Alix and her dad, Merry Christmas to you!🎵
Alim Kubdel: 🎵Tom, Sabine, Marinette Happy Holidays too.🎵

Rose and Juleka arrived. Marinette passed a log to them as well!

Nadja arrives, as Marinette passes Manon to her with the log.
Marinette: 🎵Manon, Merry Christmas, and Nadja! [Nino arrives. Marinette passes the log.] Merry Christmas, Nino [Sabrina arrives. Marinette passes her a log, much to her delight.] and Sabrina! Merry Christmas, Chl-🎵
Turns out Chloé came to the bakery too! Along with her father, Mayor Bourgeois!
Popplio: POP?!
Chloé: Do you want a photo?
Sabine: Marinette, it's Christmas!
Marinette sings as she gives Chloé the log.
Marinette: 🎵Merry Christmas, Chloé.🎵
Chloé: Could you repeat that? I couldn't hear you.
Then, the bluenette girl sung even louder!
Marinette: 🎵MERRY CHRISTMAS CHLOÉ!🎵
André: Chloé, it's Christmas.
Chloé sings loud towards Marinette as well!
Chloé: 🎵MERRY CHRISTMAS MARINETTE!🎵 [whispers] But I hate your guts, don't you forget!
Popplio: [sticks her tongue out at Chloé] POP!
Tom, Sabine, Marinette & André: 🎵Merry Christmas to all!🎵
Popplio: [sings] POP!
Machamp: [sings] CHAMP!
Florges: [sings] FLOR!
Chloé and her father then left! Then, Tom and Sabine kissed Marinette.
Machamp and Florges: [hoist Popplio up high] CHAMP!/GES!
Popplio: [happily waving her flippers up and down] POP POP, POPPLIO!
Marinette: [takes Popplio] Isn't this exciting, Popplio? Our first Christmas together!
Popplio: [claps excitedly] POP POP POP, POPPLIO!
Marinette: [hugs Popplio] And you get to enjoy winter for the first time too!
Tom: And don't forget, it's also Florges and Machamp's first Christmas with us too!
Sabine: Absolutely!
Marinette: Oh yeah! That too!
Popplio: [happy] POPPLIO!
Just then, Adrien's bodyguard came in! He then put change into the donation bin!
Marinette: Adrien's bodyguard. The present! I'll be right back! [runs off to her room]
Popplio: [tilts her head in confusion] POP POP?
In Marinette's room, the pigtailed girl was searching for her present to Adrien.
Marinette: I don't believe this! Where's the gift? Where did I put it? I'm so lame!
Tikki flew out and pulled the present out of hiding!
Tikki: It's right here, Marinette. See?
Marinette: [takes the present] Ah! Thanks, Tikki.
Just when Marinette came back down into the bakery with the present in her hand, Sabine was waving goodbye to Adrien's bodyguard who had just left.
Marinette: Huh? [runs out the door]
Popplio: [follows Marinette] POP POP!
The bodyguard was about to take off in his car, but Marinette managed to catch up and called out to him!
Marinette: Excuse me? Wait!
This made the bodyguard stop and look her way!
Marinette: If you don't mind, this is.. [holds up the present] this is for Adrien.
Adrien's bodyguard takes the gift.
Marinette: Can you wish him a Merry Christmas from me, that is.. I mean it could be from you too, in fact Merry Christmas to you from.. um, ah.. me, of course.. ah. [laughs]
Popplio: [tilts her head in confusion] POP POP?
The bodyguard drove off in his car as Marinette waves goodbye.
Marinette: I hope Adrien has a good Christmas. [looks at the skies and an image of Adrien appears]
Popplio: [playing in the show, making snow angels] POP POP POP POP POP!
Marinette: [giggles] Come on, Popplio! Let's go inside!
Popplio: [complying] POP POP!
Marinette: Don't want you to get too cold!
Popplio: [jumps into Marinette's arms] POP!
Marinette: [giggles] Why don't we go see Ash, huh?
Popplio: [nods] POPPLIO!
Then, they went inside! Ash was currently sitting down on the couch in the living room, but he wasn't exactly feeling a holly jolly mood himself!
Ash: [sighs sadly]
Pikachu: [sad] PIKACHU.
Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone and pulls up an image of him, Pikachu and his mom]
Just then, Marinette came into the living room!
Marinette: Hey, Ash! Merry Christmas!
Ash: Hm? Oh, hey, Marinette. Merry Christmas. [sadly sighs]
Pikachu: [sad; comforting his trainer] PIKA PI. PIKACHU.
Marinette: Ash? What's wrong? Why so glum? It's Christmas! You should be happy!
Ash: Oh, believe me, I'm happy that it's Christmas. It's just... I don't know. [glances at his Rotom Phone] I guess I'm just not feeling the holiday spirit it at this moment.
Pikachu: PIKACHU.
Marinette: [looks over] Oh, I get it. You miss your mom, huh?
Ash: [nods] Mhm.
Marinette: No wonder you're feeling so glum!
Ash: Yeah. I just wish I could see my mom, Professor Oak and everyone back in Kanto again for Christmas.
Marinette couldn't bare to see one of her best friends this sad, so she pulled him into a comforting hug!
Marinette: There there, Ash! I'm sure your friends back home miss you too! But look on the bright side! You have me and my family and all of our friends in school! Especially Juleka! She loves you so much!
Ash: I know. But it just doesn't feel the same.
Then, he got up and bundled up!
Ash: I'm gonna go out for a walk, Marinette. I'll be back soon.
Marinette: Alright, Ash. But you'll be back before Christmas dinner, right?
Ash: I'll try. [turns to Pikachu] Stay with Marinette for a bit, okay, Pikachu? [heads out the door]
Pikachu: [sad] PIKACHU.
Tikki: Poor Ash. Not being able to see his mom for Christmas. Must be hard for him.
Marinette: Well, it's mostly because of the dimensional distance between Ash's world and ours, but yes it is. I wish there was something we could do for him.
Tikki: [gets an idea] What if there was?
Marinette: What do you mean?
Pikachu: PIKACHU?
Popplio: POP?
Tikki: If Ash can't be with his friends and family in Kanto, why don't we bring his friends and family to him?
Marinette: [gasps] Of course! Why didn't I think of that?! [takes Tikki into her hands and hugs her against her cheek] Tikki, you're a genius!
Pikachu: [jumps onto Marinette's shoulder; agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Popplio: [agreeing] POP POP!
Marinette: [realizes something] But uh... How are we gonna do that?
Tikki: We should ask Arceus!
Marinette: Yeah! But first, I think a letter to his mom is an order! [gets an idea] In fact, I should write letters to Goh and Chloe's families as well! I'll bet you anything they're feeling homesick, too!
Tikki: Good idea!
With Ash, he was currently walking through the snow!
Ash: 🎵It's Christmas time again and I don't have my family or friends from Kanto to share it with on this snowy night. I just wish for once I could be able to see them all again. I'll wish with all my might! [takes out a framed photo of him and his friends and mom and Professor Oak] Because all I want for Christmas... is them...🎵 [sheds some tears] [sadly sighs]
Ash's Rotom Phone: [ringing] You have a call from Juleka! You have a call from Juleka!
Ash: [answers] Hey, Jules.
Juleka: [over the phone] Hey, babe. Merry Christmas.
Ash: [smiles a bit] Merry Christmas to you too, Jules.
Juleka: [over the phone] Everything okay?
Ash: [sighs sadly] Yeah, I'm okay, Jules. Just feeling a little homesick, that's all.
Juleka: [over the phone] Homesick?
Ash: [sadly nods] Mhm. I just wish I could spend Christmas with my family and friends here in Paris with all of you guys.
Juleka was sad to hear the love of her life so sad! Especially during the most wonderful time of the year!
Juleka: [over the phone] Oh, babe. I'm really sorry you're feeling this way.
Ash: It's not your fault, babe. [smiles a bit] At least I get to spend Christmas with the best girlfriend ever.
Juleka: [over the phone] Yeah.
Ash: Anyways, I'm just out for a walk right now to help take my mind off things! You think maybe you and I can spend Christmas Day together tomorrow?
Juleka: [over the phone] Of course.
Ash: Awesome! I'd better get going now! Merry Christmas, Jules! I love you so much!
Juleka: [over the phone] Love you too, babe.
Then, Ash hung up!
Ash: [sighs]
Goh was at home with Alix, Jalil, and their father!
Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY KEY!
Cinderace: [happy] CINDERACE!
Scorbunny: [happy] SCOR SCORBUN!
Alix: They seem happy!
Goh: They sure do!
Alix: I really am glad you're spending Christmas with us, Goh!
Goh: Me too, Alix! [to Alim] I still can't thank you enough for letting me stay here, Mr. Kubdel!
Alim: Oh, think nothing of it, son! Our home is your home! I'm very pleased to see that my daughter has found her soulmate!
Jalil: [threateningly] Just to make it clear, my sister means everything to me! So, if you do so much as break her heart, I will break your face!
Goh: [whimpers nervously] Got it.
Alix: [sternly] Jalil!
Scorbunny: [sternly; pointing] SCORBUN BUN!
Alim: Now, Jalil! No need for you to plan a murder spree! It's Christmas!
Jalil: [composes himself] Right, sorry about that. Welcome to the family, Goh.
Goh: [a bit nervous] Uh... Thanks.
Alix: Your folks are okay with you spending Christmas with us, right?
Goh: Yeah! I do miss them a little! But at least I'll be spending it [wraps his arm around Alix] with you!
Alix: [chuckles] Oh, you!
Goh: [chuckles]
Chloe was at home, spending Christmas with Alya and her family!
Alya: [bringing over two cups of hot chocolate] Hey, Chloe! My mom made us some hot chocolate!
Chloe: [smiles] Oh, I love hot chocolate!
Just then, Alya's twin sisters, Ella and Etta, came over to them!
Ella and Etta: Hi, Alya! Hi, Chloe!
Chloe: Oh! Hi, girls!
Eevee: EEVEE!
Alya: What's up?
Etta: Can you style our hair, Chloe?
Ella: We wanna have hair like yours!
Chloe: [surprised] Really? You want your hair like mine?
Etta: Yeah! Your hair is so pretty!

Chloe: Uh... As long as your sister's okay with it?
Alya: Why not? It's Christmas! Go nuts!
Chloe: Well... Okay!
Ella and Etta: [jump up and down excitedly] Yay!
Chloe: Now, who should I style first?
Ella and Etta: [raising their hands] Me! Me! Me!
Alya: Easy there, you two!
Chloe: [as she begins to style Etta's hair; to Otis and Marlena] Thank you so much for letting me spend Christmas with you, Mr. and Mrs. Césaire!
Marlena: It's our pleasure, Chloe!
Otis: Absolutely! It's the least I can do, considering how big of a help Ash is at the zoo!
Chloe: Oh yeah! I was really surprised when I found out he was working there. How did he get the job?
Eevee: [as Alya was rubbing her head] EEVEE?
Otis: It was because he was able to calm down and make friends with the panther I have at the zoo! That's when I decided to give him the job as Chief Animal Tamer!
Chloe: [gasps in surprise] Chief Animal Tamer?! I did not expect that at all!
Alya: [while rubbing Eevee's head] Just goes to show that Ash really is awesome!
Otis: I agree!
Chloe: I guess!
Ella: Do you miss your mommy and daddy, Chloe?
Chloe: A little! But being here in Paris is fun too! And I get to experience the thrill of having little sisters! Reminds me of my little brother, Parker!
Alya: I'm sure he's pain in your neck, huh?
Chloe: [chuckles] Sometimes! Especially when he likes to tease me!
Alya: Well, anytime you need someone to look after your little bro, you just call me up! I'm good at dealing with kids!
Chloe: Thank you, Alya!
Etta: Can you tell us about some of the adventures you and Eevee went on together?
Ella: Yeah! We wanna hear all about the different Pokémon from where you're from!
Chloe: [smiles] Why not? Of course! I do actually have quite a few!
Meanwhile in Marinette's room, Marinette was writing the letters to Ash, Goh, and Chloe's families! And she was just about finished!
Marinette: Almost... [finishes writing] and done! That's the last one! [cups her chin] But all that's left now is finding a way to contact Arceus.
Tikki: Maybe we can make a wish?
Popplio: POP POP?
Marinette: Get real, Tikki! A wish isn't gonna bring Arceus here!
Tikki: Do you have any other ideas?
But before they could think of any, Arceus appeared in Marinette's room at medium height!
Arceus: Seasons greetings!
Marinette: [gasps in surprise] Arceus!
Arceus: It would seem you have a bit of a problem, Marinette!
Marinette: That's kinda the thing, Arceus! See, Ash is feeling pretty sad that he doesn't get to spend Christmas back home in Kanto with his friends and family this year, so me and Tikki thought of bringing everyone here so he can spend Christmas with them and us, too! We just figured we would ask you because you know the Pokémon world better than I do!
Tikki: [nods] Mhm!
Arceus: If it's to help my chosen one, then of course I'll help!
Marinette: [happily gasps; hugs against Arceus' face] Thank you, Arceus! You're a lifesaver!
Arceus: [chuckles] Of course! [as Marinette places the letters in his mouth] I'll see to it that these get delivered. I also may have a Christmas gift just for Ash.
Marinette: You do? What is it?
Arceus: You'll find out soon enough. Happy holidays, Marinette. [disappears]
Marinette: Wait a minute! Couldn't you give me a hint?
But Arceus was already gone!
Marinette: Aw, nuts!
Tikki: Arceus must be planning a special surprise Christmas present for Ash!
Marinette: You might just be right, Tikki!
Pikachu: [staring out the window; waiting for Ash] PIKACHU. PIKA PI.
Marinette: I know you're worried about Ash, Pikachu! But he'll be back soon! Count on it!
Then, she took Pikachu onto her lap and rubbed his head!
Marinette: Besides, you've also got me, Tikki and Popplio too!
Tikki: Absolutely!
Popplio: [happily claps] POP POP POP!
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Marinette: [giggles]
Meanwhile, at the Agreste Mansion, Adrien, Litten and Nathalie are decorating the Christmas tree, along with Team Rocket, who were in disguise.
Adrien: Check it out, Nathalie. [hangs another ornament] Do you think he will like all the decorations?
Meowth (disguise): I certainly do!
Litten: [hangs an ornament with its mouth] LITTEN.
Adrien: That looks good, Litten! This is our first Christmas together! Isn't this exciting?
Litten: [affirmative] LITTEN!
Adrien's bodyguard enters the house.
Adrien: He should be down here already. Did you call him?
Jessie (disguise): [sweat drops] Um, well...
Nathalie: Perhaps we should give him... a few more minutes.
James (disguise): Indeed, young master! We shouldn't rush the boss... [shakes his head] Er, I mean, your beloved father with whatever he's doing! He's probably using the restroom anyway!
However, Adrien only gained a look of disappointment.
Adrien: What's the point? He's not coming.
He was about to walk away when his bodyguard hands him Marinette's gift.
Adrien: [takes the gift] Thank you. [walks up to his room] Merry Christmas all of you.
Litten: [follows Adrien] LITTEN!
Nathalie: [sighs]
Jessie (disguise): Was it something we said?
Nathalie: [shakes her head] It's not your fault. It's the first Christmas Mr. Agreste will be spending without his wife.
James (disguise): [gains a look of sadness] The poor fellow.
In Gabriel's atelier, Gabriel was looking at the picture of his wife.
[knocking]
Gabriel: Yes?
Nathalie then entered the room.
Nathalie: I can imagine how difficult it must be for you, sir. But it's also Adrien's first Christmas without his mother. I really think, sir...
Gabriel: I know, you're right. I'll go see him. I just need a little more time.
Nathalie: Of course. [leaves the room]
In his room, Adrien is seen complaining about his father.
Adrien: [full of fury and hatred towards to his father] He's still only thinking of himself! I just want this terrible day to be over and done with! I hate Christmas!
Litten: [shocked] LITTEN?!
[Transformation Sequence]
Adrien: Plagg, claws out!
Then, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir! Little did he know Marinette's gift was still strapped to his side as Cat Noir leapt out the window of his room and into the snowy night in Paris, with Litten hanging on tight to his shoulder.
Cat Noir: 🎵It's Christmas in Paris, all is cheery and bright! But I'm all alone tonight.🎵
Marinette and her parents are seen having a Christmas dinner with Cat Noir watching from a nearby rooftop.
Cat Noir: 🎵Families are together, with their gifts by their side. Only Cat Noir's alone tonight.🎵
Chloé and her father are seen having a Christmas dinner with Cat Noir watching from the window outside!
Cat Noir: 🎵There's no warmth for me, no tenderness for me. I'm alone like a cat in the night! I'm a sad lonely kitty! won't anyone take pity? Cat Noir is alone tonight! Cat Noir is alone tonight!🎵
Litten: [concerned] LITTEN.
Cat Noir had reached Hôtel de Ville, where there was a huge Christmas tree set up.
Cat Noir: 🎵No cares about me, if I'm lost or I'm found and I'm just a cat in the night! I'll take your symbol of joy and burn it to the ground. I'm the vengeful cat of the night! I'm the vengeful cat of the night! Ca-ta-cly-sm!🎵
Black energy surrounds his hand as he was about to destroy the tree.
Litten: [telling him to stop] LITTEN!
Hearing his beloved partner's voice and an image of his mother's smiling face appearing in his mind stopped him from striking the tree down.
Cat Noir: I can't do it! I can't do it!
That's when Cat Noir used his power on a Gabriel advertisement instead as it crumbled to the ground!
Litten: [sighs in relief] LITTEN LIT...
Cat Noir: 🎵I'm cold and alone, I don't want to be in pain. All that anger was all in vain. I need to go back home to try and find a way. Tomorrow will be a brand new day.🎵
Litten: LITTEN...
Cat Noir: Let's go home now. Plagg, claws in.
Then, he transformed back! But Plagg wasn't looking so great!
Adrien: Plagg? Plagg!?
Litten: [concerned] LITTEN?!
Plagg: [completely weakened and almost dying] 🎵I wish that I can help you, to assist with your transformation. But I can't Adrien, don't you see? I'm tired and distress, I got nothing to digest, I'm weak and I'm running on empty.🎵
Litten: [concerned] LITTEN!
Adrien: Plagg? Plagg, what have I done? Wait, I'll help you!
Adrien searches for Camembert in his jacket and finds Marinette's present!
Litten: LITTEN?
Adrien unwraps it, finding that it's a hat, and puts Plagg on it to keep him warm.
Litten: [worried] LITTEN. [sees an envelope inside the hat] LIT? [picks it up with its mouth and presents it to Adrien] LITTEN.
Adrien: Hm?
Adrien opened the envelope and pulled out a letter, which was signed by Marinette!
Adrien: [reads it] "Merry Christmas". Signed Marinette. She's so awesome! We're going to fix you right up, Plagg! [puts the letter back to his shirt and picks the hat up]
[bell rings]
Litten: LIT?
Adrien: Do you hear that? It's Christmas!
Litten: LITTEN!
He then stood up and the letter fell out, unbeknownst to him.
Adrien: Merry Christmas, Plagg.
Plagg: Merry Christmas, Adrien.
Litten: [jumps onto his shoulder; saying "Merry Christmas, Adrien!"] LITTEN TEN, LITTEN!
Adrien: [strokes Litten's chin] Merry Christmas, Litten.
Litten: [smiles; purrs]
At the Agreste mansion, Gabriel was walking upstairs to Adrien's room while carrying a present, with a smile plastered on his face.
Gabriel: [knocks on the door and enters] Adrien.
But when he entered Adrien was nowhere to be seen!
Gabriel: Adrien? [notices the open window and rushes over] ADRIEN!
That's when Nathalie and Adrien's bodyguard came in!
Gabriel: [to Nathalie and the bodyguard, harshly and furiously] Go and find him immediately! Immediately!
The Gorilla grabs the car and drives off while Nathalie rushes to the phone and calls Adrien's friends.
Nathalie: Hello? Yes, Merry Christmas.
At Nino's...
Nino: No Ma'am, he's not at my house.
At Alya's...
Alya: Adrien? Isn't he at home?
Chloe: What's going on?
Eevee: VEE?
Alya: [turns to Chloe] Adrien's missing!
Chloe: Missing?! Oh no! We have to find him!
Kim: [talking with Max over the phone] He's been kidnapped? No joke.
Sabrina and her dad were currently getting into his police car!
Roger: Don't worry, Sabrina. We'll find your friend wherever he is.
Sabrina: [smiles and nods]
With Ash, he decided to head back to the bakery, but then his Rotom Phone began to ring!
Ash: Huh?
Ash's Rotom Phone: You have a call! You have a call!
Ash: [answers it] Hello?
Nathalie: Yes, Merry Christmas. Is Adrien with you?
Ash: Oh! Hi, Miss Nathalie! And um, no, Adrien isn't with me! Is something wrong?
Nathalie: I'm afraid so. Adrien is missing.
Ash: [gasps in worry] He's missing?! [a serious look appears on his face] Don't worry, Miss Nathalie! I'll find him! And Merry Christmas! [hangs up; puts his phone away and pulls out Dragonite and Gengar's PokéBalls; tosses them]
Dragonite: [appearing] BRWAR!
Gengar: [appearing] GENGAR!
Ash: Dragonite! Gengar! Form a search party! Adrien is missing and we have to find him! Take to the air and look from up in the sky!
Dragonite: [nods in compliance] BRWAR!
Gengar: [salutes] GENGAR!
Then, they took to the air in different directions!
Ash: I better provide extra air support! [pulls out a Tanooki Suit] Let's hope this new suit I found is heat insulated! [stretches it out and powers up]
[raccoon power-up sounds]
Ash powered up and was now wearing the Tanooki suit!
Ash: Perfect! And it's insulated too!
Then, he took flight! At Marinette's...
Sabine: Kidnapped? I'm sure there's another explanation.
Tom: Let's take a look around the neighborhood, just in case. The presents can wait. You wanna come, Marinette?
Marinette: I'm not feeling so great, I'll just wait here at home [runs upstairs] and if I hear anything, I'll call you right away. 'kay?
Pikachu: [following her] PIKA!
Popplio: [follows] POP!
Once they were in Marinette's room, the said girl let Tikki out.
Marinette: Quick, we've gotta find Adrien.
[Transformation Sequence]
Marinette: [unhappily] Tikki, spots on!
Then, she transformed into Ladybug!

Ladybug then turned to Pikachu!

Then, they took off! Meanwhile, in the snowy streets of Paris, Adrien was making his way through the snow while trying to find food for his Kwami.
Adrien: Don't worry, Plagg, I'll find you something to eat. I can't promise it'll be Camembert.
Litten: [shivering] LITTEN...
Adrien: Oh, Litten! You're freezing! [trying to find his PokéBall] Let's get you back in your PokéBall!
However, he couldn't seem to find it.
Adrien: Strange. It's not here. [gasps in realization] Oh no, I must've left it back home!
Litten: [shivering] LITTEN...
Adrien: Here, Litten! Climb into my shirt!
The Fire Cat Pokémon climbed into his shirt!
Litten: [relaxed; purrs]
Adrien: That should help you at least until we get home!
He started to feel the warmth Litten was releasing!
Adrien: Wow. You feel so warm, Litten.
However, he couldn't help but think it's his fault that Litten was out with him in the cold.
Litten: LITTEN?
Adrien: I'm so sorry I dragged you into this, Litten. What was I thinking?! [sighs] I feel like the worst Trainer ever.
Litten: [smiles; turns itself over and licks Adrien's face]
Adrien: [gasps softly and smiles]
Litten: [smiles] LITTEN.
Dragonite was flying up high, but that's when it spotted Adrien down below!
Dragonite: BRWAR? [flies down] BRWAR!
Adrien: Hm?
Dragonite: [lands in front of Adrien] RWAR!
Adrien: Dragonite! You found me!
Dragonite: [hugs him] BRWAR!
Adrien: Oh! [giggles]
Gengar: [appears from a wall] GENGAR!
Adrien: Oh, Gengar! You're here too!

Ash (off-screen): [from up in the sky; calling out] Adrien? Where are you?

Then, Ash landed and powered down!

Ash: I was looking for you! Nathalie called me and told me you were missing, so I set out to find you! And now here we are!

Adrien: Well, I'm glad we ran into each other! [sees that Pikachu isn't with him] Hang on, where's Pikachu?
Ash: It's with Marinette. I wasn't feeling all that jolly about the holidays so I went out for a walk to clear my head. [sighs] I'm basically feeling a little homesick.
Adrien: Homesick?
Ash: [nods] Mhm. It's pretty much the first Christmas I'm not spending with my mom nor any of my friends back in my world.
Adrien: Oh. I see.
Ash: Yeah.
Adrien: Well, if it's any consolation, this is actually my first Christmas without my mom here to celebrate it with me.
Ash: [gasps softly] Oh yeah. That's right. I'm sorry, Adrien.
Adrien: It's not your fault, Ash. It's mostly my father's for not letting go of the fact that she's gone. [smiles a bit] My point is, I know how you feel.

Ash: [turns to Dragonite] Let's go, Dragonite!

Adrien: Oh yeah. I remember you telling us how Dragon-types don't do well in freezing temperatures! You should probably put it back in its PokéBall.

Gengar: [hops backwards into a snowbank; making snow angels] GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN GENGAR!
Adrien: [smiles; chuckles] Well, at least the cold doesn't bother Gengar!
Ash: That's true! Too bad we don't have a ride home.
Santa Claus: Ho, ho, ho!
Ash: [looks at the direction of who said that] Huh?
Looking over, they saw a man who seemed to be Santa Claus presenting gifts to a family.
Santa Claus: No need to grab now, children. Good old Santa Claus has a gift for everyone.
Ash: Hold on! Is that who I think it is?
Gengar: [floats up and grins widely] GENGAR!
Girl: These gifts [drops the snow globe] are so lame, and I bet this is [pulls on Santa's beard] totally fake!
Santa: Hey! Easy on the beard!
The children started throwing snowballs at Santa, knocking his hat off!
Children: [laughing]
Boy: Yeah! Totally. No way you're the real Santa Claus!
They threw another snowball at Santa, but that's when Ash caught it in his gloved hand!
Santa Claus: Hm?
Kids: Huh?
Ash: Now is that any way to treat a holiday icon?
Adrien: [walks over] Hey, what's wrong with you? [helps Santa up] Even if he's not the real one, what would Santa think of your behavior?
Ash: That's right! You two are gonna be on the naughty list for sure and get lumps of coal!
Gengar: [taunting; saying "Naughty, naughty, naughty!"] GENGAR, GENGAR, GENGAR!
Man: [coming over and places his hands on his children's shoulders; sternly] The young men are absolutely right, kids. Say sorry right now!
Kids: Sorry, Santa Claus.
Santa: [waves reassuringly] It's no big deal, children. Merry Christmas anyway.
Man: [as he and his family leave] Same to you.
Ash: Merry Christmas!
Adrien: [hands Santa back his hat] I'm sorry, Sir, are you okay?
Santa: [takes it back] Fine. Don't worry, [goes over to his sleigh] I'm a tough old Santa.
Ash: I can totally tell!
Santa: But, what are you doing out at this time of night? Are you lost?
Ash: Uh... Sort of.
Adrien had a tough time answering when suddenly Santa put a blanket over his shoulders.
Santa: You're not exactly dressed for the cold weather. Maybe you'd like some hot chocolate, I've got some left.
Adrien: Yeah, I'd love some, Sir, doesn't get much better than that.
Ash: Could you make that three, please?
Santa: [going over to his sleigh] Oh, absolutely, my boy!
Ash: Thank you.
Plagg popped his head out of the puffball of Adrien's Christmas hat and made sure that Ash didn't see him!
Plagg: Ahem!
Adrien: Except maybe a slice of Camembert?
Santa: Oh you're in luck! I've still got some sandwich leftover. [opens his sandwich and hands a piece of cheese to Adrien] This is some of the smelliest cheese I've ever come across.
Adrien: [takes it] Hmm, that smells… perfect.
Ash: Personally, I prefer mozzarella cheese! Especially if it's on a pizza!
Santa: [laughs] To each it's own.
Adrien quickly fed Plagg the slice of Camembert, as he now feels better. The three of them sat in Santa's sleigh and drank their hot chocolate together!
Ash: Mmm. That hits the spot.
Santa: Quite so. So you're not lost then, I hope.
Adrien: [frowns] It's my first Christmas without my mom, sir. And my father...
Santa: Doesn't know how to move on? I understand. But your dad must be wondering where you are, you know. He must be very worried about you. Now that you've gotten out of the house and cleared your thoughts a bit, don't you think it'd be a good idea to go home?
Ash: That was the plan. But my Dragonite can't really do well in the cold. [turns to Adrien; smiles] Whaddya say, Adrien? Time to head home?
Adrien: Yeah, you're right.
Litten: [agreeing] LITTEN!
Santa: Atta boy, that's what Christmas is all about. Families together. I'll take you there on my sleigh.
Ash: That would be most appreciated. Thank you.
Santa: My pleasure. So, why are you out here too, son?
Ash: I was just clearing my head too. I'm just feeling a little homesick because this is the first Christmas I won't be able to...
Santa: Spend it with your friends and family back where you're from?
Ash: [gasps softly] How'd you know?
Santa: Santa always knows.
Ash: [chuckles] That makes sense! Anyways, yeah.
Santa: Well, I'm sure your friends and family back where you're from miss you too. But let's not forget that you've must've made quite a number of new ones here as well! And they're all happy to call you their friend!
Ash: That's true. [smiles and blushes] And I get to be with my super awesome and beautiful girlfriend, Juleka!
Santa: [chuckles] That too! I'll bet you anything, the two of you will end up under the mistletoe for sure!
Ash: If I'm lucky enough! [side-eyeing Adrien] But there is someone who should also be under the mistletoe with a certain girl I-
Gengar: [bonks him on the head] GENGAR!
Ash: OW! What did I do?
Gengar: [telling him to shush] GAR!
Santa: [chuckles] Now then, off we go!
Santa puts on his hat only to reveal it was soaked from the snow.
Ash: Uh oh. [sweat drops and smiles awkwardly] I don't think a soggy hat is gonna keep your head warm, Santa.
Adrien: [chuckles; quitely] C'mon, Plagg.
Plagg went into Adrien's jacket as he took off his hat and presented it to Santa!
Adrien: Alright, but you put this on.
Santa: Hmm?
Adrien: The friend who gave it to me would want you to have it.
Santa: A present, for me?
Adrien: Everyone deserves a Christmas present.
Santa: [smiles warmly] Thanks a lot, son.
Ash: I wish I had a Christmas present for you, Adrien.
Adrien: [as Santa takes the hat and puts it on; smiles] Hey, don't worry about it, Ash. You at least got me Litten for my birthday. It had to be the greatest present I ever gotten. Plus, getting to spend time with you [pats his shoulder] makes me just as happy.
Ash: Thanks, Adrien!
With a snap of the horses' reins, they begin to pull the sleigh and were off!
Santa: Ho, ho, ho!
Gengar: [raising its arms up; laughs] GENGAR!
Meanwhile, as all of Adrien's friends searched the town for him, Ladybug and Pikachu arrived at the large Christmas tree Cat Noir almost destroyed.
Pikachu: [jumps off her shoulder] PIKACHU!
That's when they saw the destroyed sign, courtesy of Cat Noir's Cataclysm!
Pikachu: [sniffs it] PIKACHU, PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: [singing]

Ladybug: Huh? You mean there isn't an akumatized villain and Cat Noir was only out here venting?
Pikachu: [nods affirmatively] PIKACHU!
Ladybug: But... It's not like Cat Noir to get angry. Otherwise, he himself would get akumatized.
Pikachu: PI? [ponders] PIKA...
Ladybug: But just in case, we better find him as well as Adrien and Ash.
That's when she saw footsteps in the snow!
Ladybug: Footsteps.
Pikachu: [sniffs them]

["Who's That Pokémon?" time]

In the streets of Paris, Santa Claus was taking Adrien home in his sleigh, along with Ash! They passed Roger, who was searching for Adrien from his cop car, but he didn't notice him in the sleigh! Nor did Ash see the police officer!
Ash: [singing] Dashing through the street, I think it's pretty neat. That we scored the best Christmas ride, in no way can it be beat, yeah! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh, what fun it is to ride, in a one-horse open sleigh, hey!
Gengar: [happy] GENGAR!
Adrien: [chuckles] You came up with that just now?
Ash: [grins and nods] Yep!
Adrien: That was pretty good! Pretty catchy, too!
Ash: Thanks!
Adrien: [as they sip their hot chocolate; to Santa] How about you, sir? Where will you be celebrating Christmas?
Santa: Me? I have all of Paris. The whole world even! Ho, ho, ho!
Adrien: All by yourself, huh? [puts down his cup] Okay, here's what we're gonna do. Take me back home and have Christmas with us! I need you to bring the Christmas spirit back into our home.
Ash: Huh?
Gengar: GEN?
Ash: Uh, Adrien. You realize he has other places around the world to make, right?
Adrien: I know, and you're right, Ash, but wouldn't you want Santa Claus to lighten things up in your home if he could?
Ash: Hmmm. You got a point there! [to Santa] It's your call, Santa!
Santa: All right then. But I can't stay for too long, you do know that Santa's very busy at Christmas time.

Litten: [happy] LITTEN!
Soon, they arrived at the Agreste mansion!

Then, the security camera popped out and zoomed in on Adrien!

Santa: Isn't it obvious? I'm Santa Claus!
Gabriel: Really now? That would make me the Easter Bunny. You're here for money, I suppose? I'll get my bodyguard to deal with you!
Ash: [gasps] No, Mr. Agreste! Wait!
Adrien: No, you're wrong, father!
Ladybug: [confronts them, angrily] No, he's not. Your father's got [takes out her yo-yo and swings it around] the right idea. He's a supervillain under Hawk Moth's control.
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Gengar: GEN?!
Adrien: What?!
Litten: LITTEN?!
Ash: Ladybug, are you out of your mind?!
Santa: [runs to his sleigh] You're all totally crazy!
Ash: Santa, wait! This is a misunderstanding!
Ladybug stopped Santa by tripping him with her yo-yo!
Adrien: No, Ladybug stop! That man hasn't been akumatized!
Ash: That's right!
Ladybug: I know when I'm looking at an Akuma victim, trust me.
Pikachu: [tugging on Ladybug's leg, trying to get her to stop] PIKA KA PIKA! [goes in front of Ladybug] PIKA. [trying to tell Ladybug there's a misunderstanding] PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!
Santa: C'mon! [races off on his sleigh]
Ash: Santa, wait! Come back!
Ladybug: You're safe now. Go on home. [swings after Santa on her yo-yo]
Adrien: No wait!
Ash: I'll handle this, Adrien! [pulls out the Sky Plate] Sky Plate, [places it on his chest] activate!
Then, his clothes donned a light blue color scheme, an air symbol appeared on his cap, and he gained wings!
Pikachu: [jumps onto his shoulder] PIKA!
Then, Ash took flight!
Gengar: [floats after them] GENGAR!
Adrien: [about to let Plagg out to transform] Plagg-
However, he was stopped midway as Nathalie and his bodyguard walked out.
Nathalie: Adrien.
Litten: [saying "Miss Nathalie"!] LITTEN! [turns to Adrien; saying "We're in trouble, aren't we?"] LITTEN LITTEN, TEN LIT?
Adrien: I think so, little buddy.
Litten: [groans] LIT...
Meanwhile, Santa was racing through the streets of Paris on his sleigh, trying to escape from Ladybug!
Santa: C'mon ponies, giddy up!
Ash: [flying in behind Ladybug] Ladybug, stop! He's not a supervillain! He's Santa Claus!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Then, everything happened at once when Ladybug swung her yo-yo and it was about to hit Santa!
Ash: [gasps; flies super fast to get in front of the incoming yo-yo] NO! [gets hit by the yo-yo instead, right in the gut] GUH!
Pikachu: [horrified] PIKA PI!
Gengar: [eyes bulge in shock] GEN!
Ladybug: [gasps in shock]
Santa: [gasps in shock]
Santa stopped his sleigh and hopped out, rushing over to Ash!
Santa: Ash! Are you okay?
Ash: [grunts] I'm fine, Santa. Nothing I can't handle.
Santa: [helps him up] I've got you, my boy. [turns to Ladybug angrily] Are you out of your mind? You could've hurt him really bad!
In Hawk Moth's lair, the said villain sensed Santa's anger!
Hawk Moth: [as his window opens up] Ahh. Without even knowing it, you're giving me the best Christmas gift ever, Ladybug. An innocent man wrongly accused, seeing an innocent bystander get hurt because of you, and the spirit of Christmas is broken!
Jessie: And that bystander happens to be her sidekick!
James: Our one and only twerp!
Meowth: [does a finger wag] Dat's a big naughty-naughty for Ladybug!
Then, Hawk Moth turned a butterfly into an Akuma!
Hawk Moth: [laughs evilly; releases the Akuma] Fly away, my little akuma. You have all that you need to evilize this Santa.
Then, the Akuma flew off into the city! Back at his house, Adrien was walking upstairs to his room.
Natalie: Where are you going, Adrien?
Adrien: [still expressing anger] To my room, of course, since my father isn't celebrating Christmas.
Nathalie: Of course he is Adrien. Your father came to see earlier, but you'd gone out.
Litten: LITTEN?
Nathalie: I'll tell him that you're waiting for him. Just making sure you'll stay in your room this time.
Adrien's bodyguard walked up to him and began to take him to his room.
Adrien: Yeah, okay.
Litten: [follows] LITTEN.
Back Ladybug, Ash, his Pokémon, and Santa, Ladybug realized she's made a terrible mistake!
Ladybug: You… So you're not a supervillain?
Santa: [brushes the snow off Ash] Of course I'm not! I think you've been reading too many comic books, young lady.
Ash: It's fine, Santa! She usually jumps to conclusions without checking the facts first!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: [glares at Ladybug] And I'm sure Ladybug is sorry for this little misunderstanding! Isn't she?!
Ladybug: I'm so sorry! [runs over] Let me help you-
Ash: I'm fine, Ladybug. No need to worry.
Santa: No thank you! I think you've helped me enough. [walks away to his sleigh]
Ash: But Santa, wait! Ladybug didn't know it was a misunderstanding!
Pikachu: [telling Ash that Santa might need some space] PIKA PI, PIKACHU.
Ash: [nods] Hm. You're right, buddy. [turns to Ladybug; frowns] You and I are having words! [takes flight with Gengar following]
Ladybug: Ash, come on! I said I was sorry! [follows after him]
Santa: [climbs into his sleigh] Nobody around here respects the spirit of Christmas anymore. [lowers his head sadly]
But then came trouble! The Akuma flew into his hat as a light mask appeared on his face!
Hawk Moth: Well, I believe in you. Santa Claws, I am Hawk Moth. They wrongly accused you of being a supervillain, so that's what you'll get to be from now on. In exchange, since I've been good enough all year round, I'm going to ask you for two gifts. Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous.
Santa: I shall deliver. Merry Christmas, Hawk Moth!
Then, he began to transform, as he was engulfed in a dark aura! Along with his horses and sleigh! With Ash and Ladybug, they landed on rooftop.
Ash: [angry] Attacking Santa, Ladybug?! What were you thinking?!
Pikachu: [angry] PIKA PIKA! PIKACHU!
Gengar: [angry] GEN GENGAR!
Ladybug: I thought he kidnapped Adrien and that he was an akumatized villain!
Ash: [angry] Well, he wasn't! And now, thanks to you, the one and only Christmas icon might get akumatized!
Ladybug just felt terrible!
Ash: Why can't you be more sensible like me and check the facts first?! You should know that you shouldn't jump to conclusions! You should walk slowly and cautiously to conclusions! I thought you of all people would understand that!
Pikachu: [angry] PIKA!
Gengar: [angry] GENGAR!
Ladybug: [annoyed] I get it, okay?! Just because you're upset about not spending Christmas with your friends and family back home doesn't mean you have to rub it in!
That hurt Ash a bit as he slightly looked away.
Ladybug: [now having a look of regret for saying] Ash, I...
Ash: No, you're right. [sighs; sits down] This isn't exactly the first Christmas here in Paris I hoped for.
Ladybug: Oh, Ash. [goes over to him and sits next to him] I'm sorry I snapped at you. I didn't really mean it.
Ash: I know, Ladybug. But you are right. I shouldn't've taken my frustration out on you. With everything happening all at once, it's a lot to take in.

After a minute...
Ash: [starts to laugh]

However, their happy moment was about to be ruined!
Santa Claws: LADYBUG!

Looking down, Santa's skin had turned green, his beard had many pointed tips, and his horses had turned into dark-looking reindeer. He was now Santa Claws!
Reindeer: [neighing demonically]
Ash: Santa?!
Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA?!
Gengar: [shocked] GENGAR?!
He revved up his sleigh and flew up to the heroes!
Santa Claws: [singing] 🎵You think you can get away with making fun of me?🎵 [laughs evilly]

His reindeer blew their bad breath in Ash and Ladybug's faces, making them hold their noses in disgust!
Santa Claws: [laughs evilly; singing] 🎵I am Santa Claws! I'm a rebel with a cause! I'll punish and give you a fright! Have a horrible Christmas night.🎵
He threw a present into the air and a swarm of bats flew out at our heroes!
[bats shrieking]
Ladybug: Aaah!
Ash: Quick, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
This zapped the bats to a crisp! However, Santa Claws flew away on his sleigh!
Ash: Oh no, this is terrible! Santa's been akumatized! [to Ladybug] I really don't wanna say I told you so, Ladybug, but…
Ladybug: Yeah yeah! I know! You told me so! But never mind that now! We've gotta save Santa before Christmas is ruined!
Ash: You're right! And I have a hunch that the Akuma is hiding in Santa's hat!
Ladybug: Good call! Let's go!
Ash: Yeah! Let's go clean up your mess!
Ladybug: Don't push it!
Ash: Sorry. [takes flight]

Meanwhile, Adrien was in his room, playing video games, while being watched by his chauffeur.

Litten: [looking out the window; defensive growling]
Suddenly, Santa Claws arrived and phased through the windows, much to their surprise!
Santa Claws: Ho, ho, ho!
Adrien: Santa Claus?
Litten: [hisses]
Santa Claws: Not exactly! [singing] 🎵I am Santa Claws! I'm a rebel with a cause! I'll punish and give you a fright! Have a horrible Christmas night.🎵
Adrien's bodyguard stood in front of the boy to protect him, but Santa launched a present into the air and spiders came out!
Gorilla: Aaah! [runs away in fear]
Litten: [Ember move] LIT...TEN!
Some of the spiders were burnt but the others scattered away in fear!

Litten: [hisses]
Adrien: No, wait!
But it was too late! His demonic reindeer pulled him away on his sleigh!
Santa Claws: This will be the Christmas of Revenge!
Litten: [worried] LITTEN!
Adrien looks to see his bodyguard had left the room and grins.
Adrien: Plagg, claws out!
At Le Grand Paris Hotel, Mayor Bourgeois had laid out a ton of presents for Chloé.
André: Santa Claus has come this year, my sweet Chloé!
Chloé: [excitedly gasps]
But the moment was ruined when Santa Claws came flying in on his sleigh, sending everyone to the floor.
Chloé: Aaah!
Santa Claws: [lands on a table] Horrible Christmas, everyone! [singing] 🎵I am Santa Claws! I'm a rebel (Chloé: [sees the demon reindeer eating her presents] Hey! My presents!) with a cause! I'll punish and give you a fright! Have a horrible Christmas night.🎵
He threw another present into the air, this time releasing multiple cockroaches as they landed all over Chloé and her presents!
Chloé: [trying to brush the roaches off her] Argh! Argh! [runs off in fear] Argh!
Santa Claws took off on his sleigh once again!
Santa Claws: Ho, ho, ho!
Ash and Ladybug were leaping across the rooftops, looking for the now rogue Santa.
Ash: If we can get Santa's hat, we can free him from Hawk Moth's spell and save Christmas!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKA PIKACHU!
Ladybug: But how?
Ash: We'll figure something out! Right now, we gotta find our rogue Saint Nick!
Santa Claws: [flying in the sky on his sleigh] Horrible Christmas, everyone!
Ash: There he is!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: After him!
Ash took flight with Pikachu on his shoulder, Gengar floating after him, and Ladybug swinging on her yo-yo as she began to run across rooftops.
Ladybug: It's just the three of us, Santa Claws!
Cat Noir: [lands next to her while running with her] The four of us, m'Lady.
Ladybug: Cat Noir? Where were you? What happened to Adrien?
Cat Noir: It's a-, long story. Cats have their little secrets too, y'know?
Ash: Never mind that! We gotta get Santa's hat so we can save both Santa and Christmas!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: Come on! Before he gets away!
Jumping and flying up, the heroes managed to land on the back of the sleigh.
Cat Noir: Who's going to deliver presents to the children now, Santa Claws?
Ash: Stop this now, Santa!
Santa Claws: There are no more presents, no more spirit of Christmas! You should've been good.
He throws Cat Noir a present which explodes and throws him off of the flying sleigh.
Cat Noir: [while falling; yelling] I've been good all year round!
Ladybug: Not enough, apparently. [dives down to save him] Hang on! [throws her yo-yo onto Santa Claw's sleigh as it ties around]
Ash: Alright, Santa! I didn't want to do this! But you left me no choice! Gengar, use Night Shade!
Gengar: [Night Shade move] GEN...GAR!
Santa Claws: [throws a present box to defend himself]
The Night Shade hit the present and it exploded in green smoke!
Ash: Hey! [gets caught in the green smoke; coughing]
Pikachu: [coughing] PI PIKACHU!
Gengar: [coughing] GEN GEN!
Santa Claws: [looks down at the dangling heroes] How 'bout a nice sleigh ride, my little, wretched elves! Ho, ho, ho, ho! Hold on! [revs up his sleigh] Here we go!
He began to drive his sleigh recklessly as the three heroes hung on for dear life!
Ladybug and Cat Noir: [screaming]
Ash: [feeling the air current try to push him off] Gotta... Hold... On!
Pikachu: [hanging onto his partner's shoulder] PIKA PIKA!
Ash: Can't... Hold... On... Much... LONGER!
Cat Noir: [hanging onto Ladybug] Don't you have to have a license to drive one of these things?!
Ash: Apparently his has expired!
Cat Noir: Clearly!
Ash: [feels his fingers start to slip] Oh no! I'm starting to lose my grip!
Pikachu: [gasps] PIKA!
Ash: I can't hold on much longer!
Ladybug: Ash, you do realize you can fly, you know!
Ash: [realizes] Oh right. I forgot.
Pikachu: [facepalms] PIKACHU.
Then, Ash let go and started to chase after the sleigh!
Santa Claws: [holding gifts] It's time to open your gifts, kiddies!
Ash: Not this time! Pikachu, use Electroweb!
Pikachu: [Electroweb move] PIKA...PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA...CHU-PIKA!
Then, the Electroweb was aimed at the presents and they were trapped within the web of electricity!
Ash: Sorry, Santa! But leave joke presents to little blue guys in white clothing!
Santa Claws: Oh, [pulls out more] there's plenty more where that came from, my boy!
Then, began throwing them at Ladybug and Cat Noir!
Ash: Uh oh! Look out, Ladybug and Cat Noir!
They were hit by some of the gifts, but that didn't stop them!
Ladybug: I'm gonna try to stop the sleigh. You deal with Santa Claws!
Ladybug threw Cat Noir upwards and onto the sleigh, as he draw out and spun his staff.
Ash: Gengar, you help Cat Noir and I'll help Ladybug!
Gengar: [grins] GENGAR!
Then, they went into action!
Cat Noir charged in with his staff, but Santa made a present appear, which ended up being a sword and used it to block Cat Noir's attack and send him flying backwards towards the seat.
Gengar: [coming in with an Ice Punch] GEN...GAR!
Santa Claws blocked it with his sword, but that ended up freezing it within a block of ice!
Santa Claws: Oh!
Gengar: [laughing] GEN GENGAR!
Santa Claws: You'll pay for that, ghost! You're going on the naughty list for sure!
Gengar: [angry] GEN! [Shadow Ball move] GENGAR!
Santa Claws: [hit] UGH!
Gengar: [tauntingly; saying "Ooh, I'm so naughty!"] GEN, GEN GEN GENGAR!
Santa Claws: [growls]
While Cat Noir and Gengar dealt with Santa Claws, Ash had flew down to help Ladybug!
Ash: Need a lift, Ladybug?
Ladybug: Don't mind if I do!
Ash grabbed Ladybug's hand and pulled her up, then they each landed on the backs of the demonic reindeer!
Ash: Now, to put the brakes on these bucks!
Reindeer: [neigh demonically]
They began to steer uncontrollably and tried to shake our heroes off!
Ladybug: Woah, slow down!
Ash: Woah there! I say, woah there!
Pikachu: [holding onto Ash's shoulder] PIKA PIKA!
Reindeer: [neigh demonically]
The constant, uncontrollable steering caused Santa Claws to fall off the sleigh!
Ash: Uh oh!
Gasping, Cat Noir grabbed his hand and managed to pull the corrupted Santa up.
Ash: Phew.
Pikachu: [relieved] PIKACHU.
Santa Claws: [grins wickedly] Thank you.
Gengar: [gasps; uses Ice Punch] GEN...GAR!
But Santa Claws moved to the side to dodge and threw Cat Noir overboard!
Ash: Cat Noir!
Cat Noir: Aaah! Ladybug!
Ladybug: Not again! [dives down to save him]
Ash: Ladybug! [flies down after her]
And Gengar followed! Ladybug managed to grab Cat Noir's hand before throwing her yo-yo around a lamppost. As they swing off the lamppost, the two heroes fly into the air towards an open window where Alya was holding her phone up to record the whole ordeal!
Ladybug and Cat Noir: [screaming]
Ash: Incoming!
Alya: [gasps]
Then, Ladybug and Cat Noir crashed into her apartment and landed on top of each other.
Chloe: [gasps] Ladybug? Cat Noir?
Eevee: [awed] EEVEE!
Alya: Now that's a Christmas scoop! [records them with her phone] Anything you'd like to say for the Ladyblog?
Ladybug: [sees the position they're in] Uh, it's not at all what it looks like. [giggles nervously]
Eevee: EEVEE?
Ash: [flies in] Sorry about that, you guys! Merry Christmas!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Gengar: GENGAR!
Ash: And actually, I actually this position they're in wasn't an accident at all! But a twist of fate! [smiles cheekily; as Ladybug bonks him on the head] OW! What did I do?
Chloe: What exactly is going on?
Ash: Long story short, Santa has been akumatized!
Chloe: I'm sorry he's WHAT?!
Santa Claws: [flying away on his rocket sleigh] Ho, ho, ho!
Ash: Oh no! He's gettin' away!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: Not for long, buddy! [runs outside and hops onto the railing]
Ladybug: [stops him by grabbing his tail] No, wait. This isn't gonna work.
Ash: Well, we've got to do something! If we don't stop the rogue Santa Claws and save Christmas, all of Paris... No, the whole world is gonna hate Santa and Christmas will be ruined!
Pikachu: [agreeing worriedly] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ladybug: Don't worry, Ash! Christmas won't be ruined! We will save it! [throws her yo-yo into the air; using her superpower] Lucky Charm!
The Lucky Charm she summoned for this Christmas mission appeared to be a large box.
Ash: That's how you're gonna save Christmas? With a box?
Cat Noir: I hope it's not trying to tell us to move to another city.
Ash: That's the dopiest idea I ever heard! But still, how's a box gonna help us save Christmas?
Ladybug began to look around and came up with a plan!
Ladybug: [runs to the kitchen and check through the drawers] I need packing tape, scissors and office supplies. Do you guys have those things here?
Alya: [points to the cupboard] In there.
Ash: [to Cat Noir] Now, whaddya suppose Ladybug's gonna do with that stuff?
Cat Noir: [shrugs]
Ladybug checked through the cupboard and found the packing tape and wrapping paper, as they glowed in a ladybug pattern.
Marlena: [opens the desk for her] Right here.
Eevee: [jumps onto the countertop; curious] EEVEE?
She also found scissors, sticky notes, and a pencil, which glowed in a ladybug pattern, too.
Ash: Um... Ladybug?
Etta & Ella: [holding up markers and a notepad] And here!
Chloe: Uh...
They also glowed in a ladybug pattern as she took them while writing something down.
Ash: What are you writing?
Ladybug: My Christmas list. [hands Cat Noir the list] Go to the Dupain-Cheng's bakery and grab these items. [looks at the curtains, as they glowed in her thinking vision] Then meet me and Ash back at the Eiffel Tower, I'll explain everything once we're there. [rips the curtains off]
Cat Noir: [running out] I've always dreamed of being your Santa Claus, M'Lady. [leaps away]
Ash: Uh... You gonna fill me in on this crazy plan of yours?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ladybug: You'll see!
Ash: [nods] Got it! [takes off the Sky Plate and powers down]
Chloe: Uh... Whatcha doin'?
Ash: [pulls out the Insect Plate from his backpack] You're about to find out!
[Transformation Sequence]
Ash: Insect Plate, [places it on his chest] activate!
Then, beetle wings sprouted out of his back!
Chloe: Huh?!
Eevee: [awed] VEE!
Chloe: What in the world are you?!
Ash: I'm able to gain insect features thanks to the Insect Plate!
Chloe: Uh huh?
Ash: And insect abilities, too!
Ella and Etta: [in awe] Wow!
Ladybug: [gathers all the supplies together and uses the curtains as a sack] Don't worry, Christmas will be back to normal soon enough. [to Ash] Come along, my little elf! Let's save Christmas! [swings away on her yo-yo]
Ash: At least tell me your plan! [flies after her with his beetle wings] And who you callin' an elf?!
Alya: [runs out onto the balcony] Go get 'em, Lady-Claus!
Chloe: I hope they can do it!
Eevee: [hopeful] EEVEE VEE!
Meanwhile, Santa Claws was flying near the Eiffel Tower, but something catches his eye as he began to fly to the top of the tower. A black present dangles off of it from Cat Noir's baton. Santa Claws conjures up a large mace, preparing to destroy it, but the present turns, revealing his face, drawn in a crude, yet amusing manner.
Santa Claws: It's me...
Cat Noir: [singing]
🎵Santa, you're the winner.🎵
🎵We stand down and surrender.🎵
🎵We fear you have defeated us, so we give you our Miraculous.🎵
🎵But beforehand, here is a gift for you.🎵
🎵'Cause on Christmas Eve, even you have a right to that too.🎵
Santa Claws: [smiles] A present? For me?
Hawk Moth: [through the light mask] Don't listen to him, it has to be a trap!
Jessie: Twerps never keep their word!
Cat Noir: [singing]
🎵Rebel with the cause, you give us so much fright.🎵
🎵We all have the right to a present on Christmas night.🎵
When Santa Claws grabbed the box, the wind blew against him and knocked over Ladybug, which was actually the cardboard cutout of her from the bakery! Then, the real one and Ash jumped out of it as confetti came out!
Ladybug: Merry Christmas!
Ash: And a happy New Year! [tossing a PokéBall] Lucario, Double Team!
[Lucario materializes]
Lucario: [appearing] MRAH! [Double Team move] MRAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH!
Santa Claws couldn't believe his eyes nor tell which one was real!
Ash: Gengar, use Psychic!
Gengar: [Psychic move] GENGAR!
The Shadow Pokémon's Psychic stopped Santa Claws cold and Ash shot web fluid out his fingertips, which wrapped around the corrupted Jolly Fat Man!
Ash: Look what I got! A mummified Santa Claws wrapped in a Sticky Web! [turns to Ladybug] Here, Ladybug! My gift to you is my gift to me!
Ladybug: [smirks] Oh, you shouldn't have!
Then, she wrapped her yo-yo around Santa Claws and the sleigh.
Ash: [seeing the reindeer trying to escape] Lucario, Force Palm!
Lucario and clones: [Force Palm move] MRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAH!
The demonic reindeer were bashed from both sides, making them hit each other's heads, causing them to get dizzy!
Ash: Bullseye!
Cat Noir: [using his power] Cataclysm!
His claw glows a black energy as he jumps towards the sleigh and grabs Santa's hat, making it turn black and hands it to Ladybug.
Cat Noir: Merry Christmas, milady.
Ladybug: Thanks, kitty. [blows the hat to dust]
Ash: And now comes the piece de resistance!
As he said that, the Akuma came flying out!
Ladybug: [opens her yo-yo] No more evil doing for you, little Akuma. [begins to swing her yo-yo around] Time to de-evilize! [catches the Akuma and purifies it] Gotcha! [releases it] Bye bye, little butterfly! [tosses the Lucky Charm into the air] Miraculous Ladybug!
Then, everything was put right, thanks to the magic ladybugs and Santa turned back to normal! His sleigh returned to normal as well, but it began to fall!
Ash, Ladybug, and Santa: [exclaiming]
Fortunately, the magic ladybugs brought it down to ground level gently!
Ash: Oh, phew! That was close!
Pikachu: [collapses on its belly and smiles in relief] PIKACHU.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash: [fist bump] Pound it!
Pikachu: [joins in] PIKA!
Gengar: [joins in] GENGAR!
Lucario: [joins in] MRAH!
At his unknown location, Hawk Moth was furious at another failure. Especially at this time of year.
Hawk Moth: Ladybug, Cat Noir, Ketchum. Go ahead and enjoy your Christmas this time, but we'll see who gets the best presents next Christmas.
James: But that's a whole nother year away!
Jessie: So what?! We'll wait another 365 days until we get the best Christmas present of all!
Meowth: And how!
Wobbuffet: [salutes] WOBBUFFET!
Then, the window of Hawk Moth's lair closed!
Ash: [takes off the Insect Plate and powers down] Well, it's safe to say that we've saved Christmas!
Pikachu: [holds up two fingers on its paw to make the victory sign] PI PIKACHU!
Gengar: [grins] GEN GENGAR!
Lucario: [places its paws on its hips in triumph] MRAH RAH!
Ladybug: We sure did!
Ash: But now, I think it's time we head on home!
Ladybug: Good idea!
Ash: [begins to walk away and waves goodbye to the two heroes] Merry Christmas, you guys!
Pikachu: [waves; saying "Merry Christmas!"] PIKA PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: Merry Christmas, buddy!
Ladybug: Merry Christmas, Ash!
Santa: Merry Christmas, my boy!
But as our hero left, he couldn't help but feel glum about not being able to spend it with his friends and family back home in Kanto! As our heroes and Santa took off, Ladybug couldn't help but watch Ash from a rooftop with a sad smile!
Ladybug: Oh, Ash.
But as Ash was walking, a sudden flash of white light occurred, and the Alpha Pokémon appeared before him!
Ash: Huh? Arceus?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ash: What are you doing here?
Arceus: Happy holidays, my friend. Feeling a bit homesick, are we?
Ash: A little. How'd you know?
Arceus: I'm always keeping watch over you, young one. And I have a little Christmas present for you.
Ash: [gasps excitedly] Really? A present for me? What is it?
Arceus: What if I were to tell you that there's a way for you to here and in the Pokémon World at the same time?
Ash: A way for me to be here and in the Pokémon world at the same time?
Pikachu: [tilts his head in confusion] PIKA?
Arceus: Tell me, Ash! What are your favorite places while in Paris?
Ash: [cups his chin] Hmm… there's the school, the Eiffel Tower, Place des Vosges… [sweat drops; smiles sheepishly] the list goes on and on!
Ash: Why do ask anyway?
Arceus: Well, for your Christmas present, I have given you a warp tube system at each of your favorite places! This way, whenever you want to, you can go from here to the Pokémon World and back again!
Ash: [happily gasps] You mean… I can go home?!
Arceus: Indeed! Whenever you want to! And there's something else to!
Ash: Something else?
Arceus: Indeed! But you'll have to wait and see on that one! And don't think that your mission is over.
Ash: Of course not! The fight for the safety of the Miraculous is only just beginning! Thank you so much for this gift, Arceus! I'm totally speechless right now!
Arceus: [chuckles] My pleasure, my chosen one. Use it well, use it wisely.
Ash: You know I will!
Arceus: Merry Christmas, my friend. [disappears]
Ash: Merry Christmas, Arceus! [to his Pokémon] You know what this means, guys?! We'll be able to go home!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU! PIKA PIKA!
Gengar: [happy] GEN GEN! GENGAR!
Lucario: [pleased] MRAH!
Ladybug had heard and seen everything from the rooftop she was on with a smile plastered on her face!
Ladybug: So that's what Arceus's gift to Ash was. Incredible! Now I'll have a way to bring his friends and family to our world! Although, I wonder if the letters got through? I guess there's only one way to find out! [swings away on her yo-yo]
Ash: Now, I can bring everyone from Kanto over tomorrow for Christmas Day! Oh! That reminds me! I'd better head back to the bakery! I bet Mr. and Mrs. Dupain-Cheng are worried about me!
Just as he was about to leave, his Rotom Phone rang!
Ash's Rotom Phone: [ringing] You have a call! You have a call!
Ash: Huh? Who could that be now? [answers it] Hello?
Nathalie: Hello, Ash!
Ash: Oh! Hi, Miss Nathalie! Is everything okay?
Nathalie: Yes. Everything is fine. Adrien's back home thanks to your help. Mr. Agreste would like to see you and give his thanks for bringing Adrien back home safely.
Ash: Oh! Really? Well... Okay! If that's what he wants! I'll be over in a few!
Nathalie: Wonderful. And Ash?
She couldn't help but smile over the phone!
Nathalie: Merry Christmas.
Ash: Merry Christmas to you too, Miss Nathalie!
Then, Ash hung up!
Ash: Change of plans! We're going to the Agreste mansion first!
Ash and Pokémon began to run and make their way to the Agreste manor! They soon arrived and were in Gabriel's atelier. Gabriel was talking to Adrien in front of his mother's portrait.
Gabriel: [distressingly and sadly] Adrien. You understand I can't have you disappearing like that. I couldn't bear the thought of losing you.
Adrien closes his eyes, startled by seeing how much his father really cares about him now.
Gabriel: And Ash, I want to thank you for finding Adrien and bringing him back home safely. Despite you having an escort. I'm not sure how I can ever repay you.
Ash: Aw, think nothing of it, Mr. Agreste! Adrien's my friend! And I'll do anything to help my friends!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: Besides, Adrien would've done the same for me!
Adrien: [smiles and wraps an arm around Ash] Ash, of course I would've.
Litten: LITTEN!
Gabriel couldn't help but smile a bit at their friendship!
Gabriel: Thank you, Ash. I'm pleased to know that Adrien has a trustworthy friend that he can rely on.
Ash: You're welcome, Mr. Agreste!
Suddenly, the doorbell rang!
Ash: Uh oh! Who could that be?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Nathalie picks up the phone and opens the gate.
Nathalie: I think it's for you.
They go to the foyer and open the front door, where everyone was waiting outside for them!
Ash: Guys?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Nathalie: I informed everyone that Adrien was home, safe and sound, sir. They were all worried about their friend.
Goh: Yeah! We're glad you're okay, Adrien!
Chloe: We were worried!
Grookey: GROOKEY KEY!
Eevee: EEVEE!
Marinette: And, Ash! I have a surprise for you!
Then, his mom, Mimey, Professor, Oak, Gary, Goh's parents and grandmother, Professor Cerise, his wife and son, Ren, and Chrysa came over!
Delia: Surprise!
Mr. Mime (Mimey): MIME MIME!
Ash: Mom?! Professor Oak?! Gary?!
Pikachu: [surprised] PIKA?!
Gengar: [surprised] GAR?!
Lucaruo: [surprised] MRAH?!
Goh: Mom?! Dad?! Grandma?!
Grookey: [surprised] GROOKEY?!

Ash: What are you all doing here?

Delia: Well, Marinette sent us all a letter saying that you, Goh and Chloe might be feeling homesick since you won't be able to spend it with us back home! So, we decided to come here for Christmas!
Marinette: Let's just say I had help from an [winks] old friend!
Ash felt touched by this! He almost looked like he was going to cry tears of joy! However, he held them back to stay strong!
Ash: Wow! I don't know what to say!
Gary: [cheekily] How about... "Gee, thanks, Marinette! You're the greatest friend ever!" That sound like a good idea, Ashy Boy?
Ash: [chuckles] Gary, you couldn't be more right! [hugs Marinette] Marinette, thank you so much! You have to be one of the greatest friends ever!
Pikachu: [happily nuzzles against her; agreeing] PIKA PIKA PI!
Marinette: You're welcome, Ash! [hugs him back] Merry Christmas, bestie!
Ash: Merry Christmas, Marinette! [turns to Gabriel] Um, Mr. Agreste? If it's okay with you, could everyone possibly spend Christmas with us here?
Adrien loved the sound of that idea!
Adrien: Oh please, father? It's Christmas!
Gabriel: Of course. [to everyone] Come on in.
And everyone did just that!
Nino: [hugs Adrien] Aww, brother!
Ash: [gives Juleka a hug and brings her over to his mom] Mom, this is my girlfriend! Juleka Couffaine!

Rockruff: [greeting; wagging its tail] ROCKRUFF RUFF!
