I set a lazy stare on the meek boy in front of me. We sat on two fallen logs opposite of each other, a little ways away from the main party. We're about the same age, but he's shorter, thinner, and shyer than me. His head is dead set on the dirt between us, he's refusing to meet my gaze. He's shaking. He's clothed in an oversized pink hoodie and a pair of black sweatpants. His hoodie sleeves covered his hands. His eyes, small, round, and pink, are watery and shakey. His hair was thick, long, and black. It went halfway down his back. He looks more like a girl than a guy.

I looked down, eyeing the cup of what was probably alcohol in my hand. My mind flashed back to about fifteen minutes earlier. I was standing next to Delkana and her sister. It was a few hours after Delkana announced I wasn't food. Her and Delkina were talking, chatting about one thing or another. I wasn't paying enough attention to anything to listen. I hadn't been doing much of anything other than eating what I both hope and assume is bacon and standing around Delkana, who seemed to be too captivated by talking to her sister to do anything fun. I looked around idly, surveying the party. Nothing particularly interesting caught my eye. Your typical empousa and snake ladies, a raging bonfire, the empousa playing the violin, all of it was the same as when we had arrived. I looked back to Delkina and Delkana, and was mildly surprised to see a pink-clad boy who I now know as Valen to be standing right up next to Delkina, wrapping his arms around her left arm.

"Oh! Valen!" Delkina seemed just as surprised as me, "Didn't I tell you to go eat? You're all skin and bones, you know! You need to eat to grow big and strong."

He remained quiet for a moment and looked down, "I-I'm not hungry…" he said, his voice barely a whisper.

Delkina laughed a bit, "Oh, Valen, you're never hungry. Whatever, it's fine, I suppose." She turned to me, "Veto, this is Valen. You two look about the same age, you should go spend some time together,"

She paused for a moment, looking over at Delkana, "If that's okay with you, sister."

Delkana looked at me and smiled, "She's right, I want you to have a friend here, one that's human too. Me and you are going to be spending plenty of time together, so you should socialize for now."

I looked over at Valen, who was keeping his gaze on the ground. "Well, follow me, I guess." I said, and began walking off. I didn't bother checking behind me. I heard shuffling footsteps behind me, and assumed they were his. I didn't know where I was going, but I figured it'd probably work out. I was stopped for a moment by a snake lady reaching an arm out to me, a wooden tankard in her hand. She motioned for me to take it, saying nothing. I cautiously reached out and clasped the handle in my hands. It was rather heavy. I looked down at it, a deep red liquid sitting inside. I looked back up at the snake lady, who merely winked at me and slithered off. I looked behind me, where Valen stood, looking at my cup nervously. He saw me looking and lowered his head.

I was snapped out of my memories by a loud empousa screaming about alcohol and sex in the distance. I looked up from my cup, setting my eyes on the boy in front of me once more.

"So…" I started, "Valen, right?"

He flinched slightly when I spoke, like he was afraid I'd yell at him. He didn't say anything.

"Yo." I leaned forward and waved my hand in front of his eyes, "You there, man?"

He squeezed his eyes shut and lowered his head even more. I leaned back, returning to my lazy, slouched position. He relaxed his shoulders slightly when I leaned back. An awkward silence rang out between us. What's up with this kid?

"You know, if you don't like me for some reason, you can just say that." I smiled slightly, "You don't gotta give me the silent treatment, I won't be offended."

He gasped slightly. "N-no!" His voice matched his appearance, being incredibly low and meek, "I d-don't dislike you… I-I'm sorry…"

I raised an eyebrow, still smiling. He still hadn't met my gaze. "You're sorry you don't dislike me? Weird."

He shook his head slightly. He looked flustered. "No, n-no! That's, that's not what I m-meant."

A chilly breeze blew by. I shivered slightly. It was the middle of October, so it was rather chilly.

Valen sneezed. He brought up a sleeve to cover his nose, causing it to slip slightly. I caught a glimpse of his forearm. It was thin, basically skin and bone. I noticed something peculiar. Purple tissue in the shape of a 'U', rough and splotchy, like a scar.

"Hey, Valen."

He perked up slightly, "H-huh? Yeah?"

I leaned forwards once more. He tensed. His eyes remained on the dirt. "What's on your arm?" I asked. It might've been insensitive to ask someone that doesn't even know your name what the obvious scar on their arm is, but I don't really care.

"W-what? What do you mean?"

I pointed at his left arm, the one with the scar, "The scar, on your arm" I said.

He froze up. He still hadn't looked at me once. "U-uh, I-… I-it's…" his stutter got noticeably worse. I decided to press onwards. Who cares if he's awkward, I'm curious, and currently am capable of thoughts. For now.

"It's what?" I asked.

"It's, uh… D-Delkina, she… she b-bites me… sometimes." He managed to stutter out.

Bites? So it's not like Delkana's mishap last night was a once in a lifetime, unforeseen mistake?

"Bites you?" I asked, my voice carrying a mild amount of worry. He nodded. "Does she mean to?"

"S-she says she doesn't… whenever we… h-have… whenever we do…" God damn, he stutters a lot. I wonder if he actually has a condition or if he's just so nervous he can barely talk.

I decided to take a guess at what he was getting at, "Whenever you fuck, she bites you, and then says she lost herself in the moment?"

He froze. He looked up at me. I got a good look at his eyes for the first time. They were wide and watery, like he was always on the brink of crying. They carried a certain fear to them, like he could never not be afraid of one thing or another. He almost immediately looked away, whether it be from my eyes or from his own shyness, I don't know. Looking off to the side, he slowly nodded, a barely perceptible nod that could have easily been missed.

"How… h-how did you k-know?" He asked, his stutter lessening dramatically.

I grabbed my shirt collar and stretched it, revealing my shoulder. The bite scar Delkana left on me was as prevalent as this morning.

"That's how." I said, simply.

"O-oh…"

We sat in silence for a while. I used what little brain capacity I had left to think of questions to ask him. Several minutes passed before I finally came up with one.

"Oh, hey, Valen, are you a demigod?" I asked abruptly, breaking the silence.

Valen looked up at me, making brief eye contact, though he instantly looked away once more. "Y-yeah! I am. I-I guess you are too, then?"

I shrugged, "Probably. Delkana says she thinks I am, but doesn't know who my godly parent is. How about you?"

"Iris… t-that's what Delkina told me. She's the goddess of rainbows, I r-really like rainbows… o-oh! I can make mist, too!"

I raised an eyebrow, "Make mist? Like out of nowhere?"

He nodded, a small spark of passion and excitement in his eyes. "Wanna s-see?"

I shrugged, "Sure, why not?"

Valen straightened his back and held both of his hands out, which were still covered by his pink hoodie. He flexed his fingers inwards slightly. His arms gained a mild tremble, like he was straining himself. The air in front of me gained some color and texture, just like if mist had formed in it. I stuck my hand out, and was met with moisture.

"Damn, that's cool!" I exclaimed.

Valen slowly let his arms drop, and the mist remained. He flashed me a small smile.

"You really think so?" He asked cautiously, as if I were going to make fun of him. I nodded aggressively. "T-thank you!" He said.

I retracted my arm from the mist and looked at him. A smile grew on my face. "I have a trick, too." I said, leaning in slightly. His eyes widened. "You wanna see?"

He nodded, and I smiled wider. My heart throbbed. My vision gained a vignette. The world around me grew distant and dead, slowing to my desire. The bonfire in the distance crackled slowly, spitting flames into the air in slow motion. I set my cup down. I got up. Valen's eyes didn't track my movement. I began walking across the grass, moving towards him. I stepped over the log he said on. My heart throbbed once more. One second has passed. I crouched behind him. I let go of time, allowing it to flow. The weight of reality dropped, I no longer carried it. The fire crackled as normal, my vision was unclouded, and my mind was rooted in reality.

Valen jumped slightly. He saw me disappear, but has no idea where I am.

"Pretty cool, right?" I asked from behind him.

"Ah! W-what?!" He yelped. It was feminine. Man, he really is a femboy, isn't he?

"H-how did you… w-what?" He was genuinely perplexed.

I opened my mouth to speak, but stopped for a moment. I hadn't told Delkana about this yet. I don't plan to for a while. I like her, but some secrets are better kept for now. I trust Valen, though. He's human. He doesn't bite.

"I can move faster than your eyes can track." I told a half-truth. I can move faster than his eyes could perceive, but not in the way I was insinuating.

Valen stared at me wide-eyed, "Y-you- you can… that's amazing! That's so cool!"

I smiled and walked over the log once more, returning back to my own log. I picked up my tankard that I had yet to take a sip out of.

"Yeah, I don't know who my parent is, though. I don't really care, to be honest." I said. "Anyways… you wanna share this with me?" I motioned to my cup.

"Uhh… w-what's in it…?" He asked. I smirked.

"No fuckin' clue, but it's definitely alcohol!" I took a big gulp after that statement. I was right, it was alcohol. It tasted incredibly tart and grape-y, so I assumed it was wine. It burned slightly on the way down, in a good way. The bitter, hand sanitizer taste of alcohol flooded my mouth. It was masked well enough by the actual flavor of the wine.

"God damn!" I exclaimed after my large sip, "That shit's strong."

Valen stared at me incredulously. That was the largest amount of alcohol I had ever taken in at once. I'd snuck a sip of champagne one or two or seven times from Mother Gardelle's room, so it wasn't my first time having alcohol, but I'd never had it in that quantity. The tankard itself was rather large to begin with, so the whole thing could probably get both me and Valen drunk if we shared.

"So," I looked at Valen, "You want some?"

He looked at me- well, my body, then the cup, then back to my body, then the cup.

"I-I guess so…" he said quietly.

I smirked. Teenage curiosity for the win. I wanna see what it's like being drunk, and I bet Valen does too. Let's do this!

xXx

"Maaaan, Valen, I never-, never even told you m' name!" I slurred out, "That's fuck- fuckin' crazy! It's Veto! V-e-, somethin' somethin', I dunno."

"Ha-haaaa, what the fuuuck, like, Veto? Like, do-over? That's, that's funny!" Valen said, in between hiccups and laughs.

Me and Valen were absolutely plastered. Not only had we finished the tankard of wine, we had gotten a second one. It took us a while to finish them both, but we managed, and I soon found that Valen got a lot less shy when he was drunk. We had wandered into the main party at some point and were dancing with the monsters, not knowing what we were doing, but having fun anyways. A couple of hours had passed since we took the first sip, and the dusk was beginning to set in.

"Veto! Let me tell y' something… I'm, I'm gay, Veto! I like dudes!" Valen yelled out, his once small, fearful eyes were dilated and vibrant.

I looked at him, "Damn, man, that's- that's gay, man!"

He nodded, "Uh-huh! And the worst part is, I think I like you!"

"Dude, that's like, hella gay, man! You're gay! You're a homosexual!" I yelled.

He nodded, more aggressively than before. "Yeah! But, but the worst part is, I think I like you!"

I raised a drunken eyebrow, "Man, you- you already said that! You're wasted, man."

He took a step towards me, but stumbled, falling into me. I caught him before he could fall any further. He slumped into my arms, wrapping his own around me, laughing wildly.

"Lemme… lemme kiss ya'… j-just once! Just once." He said, his head slumped down, giggling as he spoke.

I sighed, "Man, I barely know y', but fine, but, but only once! On the cheek!"

He pushed himself up slightly, raising his head. "Yay!"

He stood on the tips of his toes, stretching his head upwards. His lips grew ever closer to my face. I could feel the heat from his small body through his hoodie. He was warm, so, so warm. His lips connected with my cheek. They were soft- feminine, even. Just like he was. He pressed against me for a moment, then leaned back, a large smile across his face.

"You- you're the best, Ve-!"

"VETO! VALEN! WHERE DID YOU TWO RUN OFF TWO?" Valen was cut off as Delkana's voice cut through the crowd, using the same magic as when she announced me as hers.

"Shit! I forgot about Delkana!" I said, pushing Valen off of me and grabbing his hand. "Come on, we gotta, we gotta find her, I dunno if she's mad or not!" I pulled him along, stumbling drunkenly through the crowd towards where Delkana's voice came from. I bumped into an empousa. She hissed, her hair flaming upwards.

"Watch it!" She hissed out.

I muttered a quick 'sorry' and continued bolting through the crowd as quickly as my inebriated legs could carry me. Valen dragged me, whining about something, but I couldn't make it out. I bumped shoulders with several monsters, all of which made a snake-like hissing noise and muttered one curse or another under their breath. I didn't care. Delkana was looking for me, I needed to get to her.

I burst out of the crowd, Valen in tow. I saw Delkana and Delkina near the same spot they were in earlier, having moved to the nearby picnic table rather than standing. I raised my hand in a wave. I began walking towards them. I tried to, at least. I tripped over my own feet, sending me and Valen both into the dirt. Valen fell on top of me.

"Ah, man, shit, man, you- you good?" I asked.

Valen made a noise that I took as confirmation. His head was buried in my chest. I suppose he was too drunk to raise it. I wasn't much better. I heard either Delkina or Delkana laugh, maybe both, I couldn't tell. I pushed Valen off of me. He rolled to the side on his back, making no move to stand. He was smiling blankly into the sky, his pink eyes were half lidded and lazy. I groggily got to my feet, standing over Valen and clasping one of his hands. I pulled him to his feet, and began dragging him along like I had been earlier. The whole ordeal lasted fifteen odd seconds.

I walked up to the picnic table, gently pushing Valen into Delkina's arms, and sat down next to Delkana, directly opposite of the other two.

"You okay, Veto?" Delkana's voice filled my head. I didn't wanna respond, or think, for that matter. I wanted to sleep. "You seem… clumsy."

"Yep, I'm, I'm good! I'm peachy." I said, resting my head in my arms on the table. "Mighta had a bit, just- just a bit, too much wine."

Delkana stared at me. She opened her mouth to say something, but Delkina beat her to it.

"Well, that explains Valen." I looked over at the two. Valen was sitting in Delkina's lap, looking up at her. He was squinting his eyes, like he was trying to think of something he forgot.

"You okay, darling? Did you drink too much, hm?" Delkina asked Valen in a maternal tone. "Well, that's okay. As long as you're not hurt."

"Heyyy….." Valen spoke, his speech slurred and drawn out. "How come… how come you're always so-, so worried I'll be hurt, even though you're bitin' me all the damn time?"

Delkina didn't seem to know how to respond. I glanced over at Delkana. She wore an amused expression, and was holding back a laugh.

"I- you know I don't mean to, Valen!" Delkina sounded worried, sad, and guilty at the same time.

"Well quiddit! I don' like it one bit! I don' want y' bitin' me no more… except for when I tell ya' to! That one time was okay…" Valen looked like he wanted to say more, but couldn't find the words. He slowly closed his eyes and leaned into Delkina, drifting off into a drunken sleep. His hangover is gonna hit like a bitch, and I know mine is too. I bet being hungover isn't as bad as people make it out to be, there's no way.

"Veto, what about you? Are you okay, love?" Delkana asked. She, like Delkina, sounded worried. A little alcohol can't hurt me, I'm a big boy.

"I'm peeeerfectly fiiine, Delki! No, no need to worry." I said, completely comprehensively,

A blush flashed across Delkana's face at the pet name I came up with. She sighed, "Well, you're obviously plastered, but it looks like you're fine."

She stood up and walked around the table, coming up next to me. She held out a hand.

"C'mon, it's getting late. We should go to my tent for the night."

I clasped her hand, and she pulled me up. She waved goodbye to Delkina, who was carrying Valen bridal style. We began walking hand-in-hand away from the party, towards one of the tents further back from the others.

Once we were a decent distance away from the crowd, Delkana spoke.

"Veto, I'm sorry if I disappointed you. I saw my sister, and got so focused on catching up with her that I forgot that I promised to party with you." She sounded sad, like she let not only me, but herself down. "The next one will be better, I promise. Me and you will drink and eat together, and we'll have a good time, I swear."

I laughed slightly. "It's fiiiine, Delki! I had fun talking to, to Valen. And I got drunk, too! For the first time!" I quit laughing. "And besides, you're with me now, aren't ya'? As long as you still want me to be yours, I'm, I'm rocking on!"

I don't know if that sentence made sense, I don't really care. As long as Delki gets the message, it's fine.

She laughed. The mood lightened. "Thanks, Veto. I'm glad you aren't upset." She paused for a moment, "And, I'm glad you're not mad I forced you to be mine."

We stopped walking. We had arrived at the tent I assume was hers. It was a simple cabin tent made of animal fur, just like the rest. I wasn't sure how they could tell who's tent was who's, cause they all looked the same.

We walked into the tent, and to my surprise, it was much bigger on the inside than on the outside. A full sized bed sat in the corner, an end table carrying a lit candle sat beside it. A small, rectangular chest sat at the foot of the bed. A wardrobe was to the right, about as tall as I am. A large bear pelt sat in the middle of the room.

"This is my tent." Delki said, "and it's yours, too. There's only one bed, but you're smart enough to assume we'd be sharing."

She let go of my hand, and pulled off the leather top she had thrown on at some point, revealing her boobs. They were rather large. I'm no boob expert, but if I had to guess, I'd say something like; 'Damn, those boobs are pretty big.'

She walked to the bed, and motioned for me to come to her. She laid down under the covers, and held them up for me to get in. I crawled in next to her, turning my back to her, allowing her to spoon me. Her breasts pressed against my back. We were in a position almost identical to the one this morning. Damn, it's crazy to think that yesterday morning, I had a human girlfriend, had no idea what an empousa was, and didn't know the gods existed. One must ask themselves why I've adapted to all of this so quickly, and to that I have an answer. I don't overthink things. I see, I believe. I saw magic and a tall lady with fiery hair and a metal leg, and went with the flow.

Delki wrapped her arms around me tightly, pulling me into her.

"You're so warm, darling. Come on, let's do something fun~" she whispered into my ear. She moved her arm from my side slowly downwards, rubbing down my thigh. She creeped it along, moving it from my thigh to my groin, placing her hand over my crotch gently.

I didn't necessarily mind, but it felt wrong somehow. Something about a who knows how old Greek monster having sex with a drunk thirteen year old didn't feel morally correct. Of course, I didn't say that. Despite the fact that I had no other choice, which I suppose could technically make this rape, it felt good. I allowed Delki to stroke, ride, suck, and touch whatever parts of me she wanted.

We had been going at it for a while. Delki was currently pressing her head into my crotch, with me in her mouth.

"Delki…!" I exclaimed as she slowly raised her head, holding her mouth closed.

She straightened fully. She was on her knees at the foot of my body, as it was the best position to 'use her mouth', as she put it. She made a point of swallowing very loudly, making sure I saw her do it.

"Veto, you taste so good…" She crawled over me as she spoke, placing both hands next to my head on either side. She looked down at me, a predatory grin on her face."…it makes me want to taste more."

She began leaning down towards me. I felt an icy fear take hold of me, remembering the night she bit me. I remembered what Valen said, 'She says she doesn't mean to…', and I inferred the unfinished part of that sentence; 'but she always does it again'. I held up an arm. I closed my eyes and turned my head.

"Delki, please!"

She stopped.

"Please, don't…"

I felt nothing for several moments. I opened my eyes slowly. Delki was still looking down at me, still on top of me, but she wasn't smiling anymore. She looked angry. Almost furious.

She lashed out a hand, grabbing me by the neck. I couldn't breathe. My heart throbbed once. Even if I slowed time, I couldn't escape. Her grip was like a vice, pressing my windpipe closed, not allowing any air to come through.

"Listen to me, Veto. Listen closely." Her voice was still, but it carried a certain weight to it. "You are MINE. Mine to do with as I please. If want to fuck you, I'll fuck you. If I want to bite you, I'll bite you, and you WON'T tell me I can't."

I felt my limbs failing me. Even if it hadn't been long since she started choking me, the pressure on my neck was making me dizzy. My legs wouldn't move. I opened my eyes, looking up at her through a veil of tears.

"Do you understand, Veto? You are mine. Do not disobey me."

I nodded as best I could, given the situation. The grip on my throat lessened dramatically, allowing me to take in air. I gasped and hacked. Though Delkana kept her hand around my throat, she did not squeeze.

"You know, I do love the way my hand feels around your throat…" she tightened her grip the slightest bit. I gasped. She giggled. "Choking you while I ride you… that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Though, that will have to wait for another night. I am so, so very hungry right now, Veto."

Her smile returned, as twisted as before.

"Let me have you. You do taste so sweet, after all. Your blood and cum in my mouth at the same time, it must taste so good!"

She knocked my arm out of the way and opened her mouth.

"Delkana, for the love of god, please!"

I squeezed my eyes shut, awaiting pain once again.

This time, the pain did come.

It was worse than last time.

Delki's teeth ripped through my clavicle, destroying bone and ripping through flesh as if it was nothing. Searing, nauseating pain shot through me, a hundred times worse than the previous bite. The last one was just a love bite, it hurt, but it was nothing serious. This one was a ravishing cleave, one meant to hurt me. Delkana wanted me to suffer.

"GOD DAMNIT! DELKANA, PLEASE, FUCKING PLEASE STOP!" I screamed. Tears were dropping now, I had no reason to hold them in. My body was being destroyed in a brutal manner.

Delkana ripped her head back, spraying blood over the sheets. Her mouth, chin, and neck were all caked thick with vermillion. She once more swallowed. She laughed, a disconnected, aloof laugh. The woman on top of me wasn't the same as the one at the party. No, that was Delki. The woman hurting me right now was Delkana.

Delkana leaned over me once more, looking at the wound on my shoulder. Silence rang out, the only sounds being my heavy breaths and her short ones.

"Aww, does it hurt, Veto? It's okay, Delki will make you feel better."

She pressed a hand against my wound. Instead of pain, like I expected, I was filled with warmth. A soft green glow emitted from her hands. The glow filled my wound, replacing and repairing the damaged bone and tissue. After a few seconds, all that was left was a deep purple scar. That, and my fear.

"There we go, good as new." She looked down at me, making eye contact. She smirked. "Are you scared of me, Veto? That's okay. You still serve your purpose, afraid or not. Now, what did I want to try? Oh, right, your blood, and your cum, at the same time."

She slowly moved down my body, dragging her taloned fingers gently across my chest, each talon acting as a reminder of the monster she was. She reached my groin once more. I wasn't excited, how could I be? All that's in my heart is fear and disbelief. But of course, she has magic. There's a spell somewhere in some god forsaken book that can give men erections, and that's exactly what she used. Of course, the pleasure returned, all the more intense because of the pain from before.

As Delkana did as she wants with me, I found myself thinking one thing. One single thing over and over again.

Do I still want to stay with Delkana?

xXx

I'm completely changing the tone of the story from now on.

My original draft of this chapter was one that was going to lead the story into a more traditional, friendlier PJO story. I deleted that draft because it felt artificial, it didn't feel like what I really wanted to write.

What I want to write is a story about trauma, and how it, mixed with supernatural powers and mythological elements, can affect the growth of a child's mind. Because that's what Veto is, a child.

The story will not be entirely fucked up, I'm not edgy enough to write a grimdark story, but there are going to be disturbing moments. This chapter will not be the norm, I don't want to write what is essentially rape porn for however many chapters.

I felt uncomfortable and sick writing this chapter, and I think that's exactly how I should feel.

I'm going to change the summary and preface of this story to better match the narrative I want to go off of from now on.

Think of this as a Christmas Curse, (or present, if you're fucked up or just really like this story) coming straight from me, personally, to you.

If you read all of this, thanks. And I'm sorry. If anyone read the first two chapters expecting a happy story of Delkana and Veto going on fun adventures and having cool, non-torturous sex, I apologize.

Darriwil, out.
