Shortlyafter Ajay's mother's passing he found himself on a bus to his home country that he hardly remembered. On his mother's deathbed she asked him to take her ashes back home but she wouldn't elaborate on it any further. But the time Ajay worked up the nerve to ask her she had already passed on.
Ajay found himself on a bus to his mother's old village. Ajay was thankful to have found his long lost Uncle Darpan along the way. Ajay looked over at Darpan as his Uncle winked at him.
"Almost there Ajay", Darpan said.
"Good because I could really stretch my legs about now", Ajay laughed.
Ajay and Darpan had been cramped in that bus for a couple of days now and it was really starting to wear Ajay down a little. But suddenly the bus came to a full stop as the army surrounded the bus. Ajay started to get nervous but Darpan claimed him down. It seemed the army was looking for someone or something but Ajay had no idea what. Just when the army tried to board the bus someone had opened fire.
"Weapons free", the soldiers shouted as the shot up the bus.
Darpan grabbed Ajay and pushed him out of the emergency exit. An older man approached the bus and shouted at the soldiers to stop shooting. The army then surrounded Darpan and Ajay. The older man walked up and Ajay could tell that he was outright furious.
"I thought I told you to stop the bus not shoot the bus. I gave you very strict orders as I am very specfic with my words. Stop the bus shoot the bus. Stop SHOOT. Do those words sound alike", The man asked the soldier.
"It just got out of control", The soldier replied.
"Oh I hate it when things get out of control I really do", the man added.
"They shot at us sire", the soldier pleaded.
"I see", The man said as he came closer to the soldier.
"I gave you one fucking job and you couldn't fucking do it right", the man yelled as he repeatedly stabbed the soldier to death with a small knife.
THE man sat on the ground and looked at himself with the bloody knife in his hand.
"And now I have blood all over my fucking shoes", the man swore as he saw Ajay looking right at him.
THE man stopped and his eyes widened as he saw Ajay.
"You there, is it you for real", The man asked as if he saw a ghost.
He helped Ajay to his feet and took a closer look at him.
"I know those eyes anywhere", The man said as he hugged Ajay.
THE man took a selfie of himself and Ajay together.
"Alright take him with us. As for you Ajay we have a party waiting for you at my palace. Me and you are going to tear shit up", The man said as the soldiers took Ajay and Darpan into custody.
Ajay found himself and Darpan sitting at the stranger's dinner table.
"It is so good to see you again Ajay and I see you brought your late mother along with you", The man said as he held his mother's urn in his hands.
"Who are you", Ajay demanded.
"Fair question and I shall tell you", the man said as he started showing bank notes with pictures of his face on them to Ajay.
"That's you", Ajay said.
"I am the King around here after all. But you may call me Pegan min", Pegan said.
But suddenly Pegan stood up from his chair and stabbed Darpan in the back with a fork. Pagen snatched Darpan's cellphone that he was texting on.
"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to text at the table", Pegan said as he looked at the phone.
"Well look at this. I am here with Ajay help us", Pegan laughed as he looked at Darpan.
"You don't text for help you cry for help. Now let's do it properly", Pegan said as pulled Darpan over to the balcony.
"Go on cry for help", Pegan insisted.
"Help", Darpan cried as Pegan said it with him.
"Now we wait for an answer", Pegan said as they waited in awkward silence.
Nothing happened however.
"And nothing it seems your friends don't care about you at all", Pegan said as he handed Darpan off to a guard.
"Take him away", Pegan ordered as the guard took Darpan downstairs.
Pegan then pulled out his cellphone and looked over at Ajay.
"Don't worry I will be right back. Enjoy some of the crab Rangoon if you like", Pegan said as he stepped out of the room.
Ajay however decided it was best not to stick around asn he tried to sneak out of the palace. He found Darpan being interrogated downstairs but Ajay could do nothing for him. The guard ended up killing Darpan shortly thereafter.
Just as Ajay was about to step outside he found a gun to his face.
"Who are you", a man asked.
"Ajay", Ajay answered.
"Oh thank God you're okay. What about Darpan", the man said as he ushered Ajay away.
"He didn't make it", Ajay replied.
"Come with us we can help you", the man said as Ajay followed him.
THE man saved Ajay and brought him south to a friendly village.
"I am Sabal and we are the Golden path. We are a bunch of revolutionaries that were created by your late father many years ago. We are trying to overthrow Pegan our awful King in order to bring peace back to our country", Sabal explained.
"My father what was he like", Ajay asked as they drove down the road.
"He was a great leader but I never actually met him myself", Sabal admitted.
"He was murdered at his home by Pegan many years ago but his dream still lives on in a way", Sabal revealed as Ajay began to wonder if Sabal was really telling the truth.
Ajay's mother never talked about his father the whole time they lived in the states. He wondered why but he never asked her.
Ajay found himself in the village where Sabal introduced Ajay to Amita. At first Amita did not like the idea of Ajay being there but eventually she warmed up to him. Ajay asked Sabal about the place his mother spoke of. The same place where she wished to be laid to rest. Sabal told him that it must be some kind of shrine but getting there was going to be a problem.
"All shrines are to the north of our country. The north is still under Pegan's rule. It would take a whole army just to get past the bridge", Sabal unveiled.
Ajay envisioned the whole scenario in his head and made a face of unpleasantness.
"Look I am here to fulfill my mother's last wish. But could you help me", Ajay asked Sabal.
Sabal smiled and showed Ajay some basic combat drills. Sabal taught Ajay how to defend himself. Sabal taught him how to shoot and throw granades and many other things. After a while of helping the golden path take back the south, Ajay went on to take back the north. Along the way Ajay investigated into his father's murder. Sabal believed that Pegan was responsible. But Ajay seemed to think otherwise. If Pegan murdered Ajay's father then why did he not kill his mother or Ajay himself as well. Not to mention that Pagan treated Ajay like a human being like a long lost friend that seemed most dear to him. Ajay wondered why Pagan would do that but not go further. Ajay believed that was more to the story but Sabal nor Amita could seem to provide the answers that made the most sense to Ajay. They kept saying that Pagan or one of his people did the deed yet Ajay found no evidence to support their theory. Ajay decided that perhaps it was someone in the golden path or did it run deeper than that he suspected as well. Ajay found some old journal entries from his father inside their old house. There was no sign of foul play or forced entry at the house. Someone who had a key someone his father obviously trusted had to be the killer. Ajay wondered if perhaps Amita or Sabal had something to do with it. Could Darpan have killed Ajay's father he wondered to himself. But the journal painted a very different story. Darpan was the most loyal soldier to Mohan Ajay's father. The journal revealed that Mohan had dealings with the CIA. Ajay then began to wonder if the states had organized his father's murder. But as he recovered more of the journal a horror began to surface. Ajay's mother was used to seduce Pegan under Mohan's orders. Ajay was horrified when another fact was revealed. Mohan and Ajay's mother started butting heads on how the golden path should deal with Pegan. Mohan began to suspect that Ajay's mother may have been plotting against him. Ajay dropped the journal in horror as he began to wonder could his mother have been the killer.
But before he could dig up more info a call came through his radio someone had arrived at the airstrip an American and he requested Ajay's help on the radio.
Ajay began to wonder if the CIA had sent another agent out to finish the job so to speak but Ajay couldn't pass it up. He wondered if the agent to help him solve the riddle in his mind.
Ajay went to the airstrip against his better judgment. The American landed but the local army didn't seem happy to see him. Ajay helped him out of a tight spot. When the dust settled Ajay went down to meet up with the agent.
"Damn you're no older than the other kid I met during my last op", Willis said as he eyed Ajay up and down.
Ajay explained the situation to Willis and he agreed to help if Ajay did him a favor. But in the end it turned out to be a few favors. Willis sent Ajay to kill high ranking soldiers that the CIA wanted taken care of. As promised Willis gave Ajay some files on his father everything the agency had on him. But when Ajay opened the files they were all redacted, classified and black barred.
"What the hell is this", Ajay said as Willis pointed a gun at his head.
"Mohan was one of ours but he turned out to be a no good son of a bitch. Your father sent your mother to play whore with Pagen. But in the end she fell in love with the bastard and your father went ape shit", Willis explained vaguely.
"What are you doing here Willis", Ajay asked.
"Like I always say I never met a soldier who wasn't a no good son of a bitch. You have helped me immensely Ajay. You have done your country proud", Willis said vaguely as he started up his plane.
"What are you saying", Ajay asked.
"I am saying that your mother fell madly in love with Pagan and that made Mohan pretty pissed. Not to mention that they got into a huge fight when he found out that she was pregnant with Pagen's kid", Willis unveiled.
"What the fuck are you talking about", Ajay said.
"The men that you have been killing for me are my agents and with you around I decided that they are too much of a risk to have around with you. Thank you for doing what I couldn't do", Willis said as he shoved Ajay out of the plane.
"Good luck Ajay", Willis said as he flew off without him.
"What the hell Willis", Ajay said as Pegan's men surrounded him.
Ajay was captured by Pegan's but he didn't harm him at all. Ajay noticed that something was off though. The lock on his cell door was joke and the guards that Pegan had positioned were significantly reduced. Ajay began to wonder as he made his escape down the mountain if Pegan just simply let him go. However the cold became unbearable for Ajay as he collapsed suddenly while transversing the terrain.
Meanwhile Jack had finally made it to Asia but when he saw that Willis had returned without Ajay he started to worry. Jack quickly figured out what was really going on with Willis as Jack began to wonder why Willis was so helpful to Jason but not Ajay. But in the end it turned out that Willis was crooked and had Ajay kill his own men so that they could not burn him. Jack took matters into his own hands and killed Willis. After that Jack quickly learned the truth about what was really going on. Mohan killed Pegan's daughter when he found out she wasn't his kid. But then Ajay's mother killed Mohan and fled to the states.
"The lies we tell to the ones we love", Jack whispered to himself as he read the documents.
Jack ran off to find Ajay before it was too late. Jack found him nearly frozen to death. Jack carried Ajay to Amita who took care of him. Jack decided to gather up more Intel to see if it could help Ajay deal with Pegan. But what Jack tripped over was even bigger.
When Ajay finally got better Jack revealed the truth to him. Sabal was nothing more than a two faced bastard who was killing and rapping people without care or conscious. In other words he was just like Mohan only much worse. Amita was no different than Pegan. But Ajay did support some of her beliefs. Amita was abducting children and forcing people to fight a war they wanted no part of. In the end it was a pointless war that no one could possibly win. Ajay decided to hunt Pegan down regardless but he decided that Sabal needed to be put down first. Ajay and Jack teamed up and together they crushed Sabal's supporters as they went after him next. Sabal was unarmed and at first Ajay had trouble on what to do with him. Jack then put two rounds into Sabal's skull. Ajay thanked Jack as they then rode off to raid Pegan's palace.
After that Ajay and Jack found Pagen sitting at his dining room table with food laid out for them all. At first Ajay did not know what to do. Jack sat down to eat and Ajay more or less did the same. Pagen played a good host for them both. Pagan then explained his side of the story. Which confirmed all of what Ajay was able to uncover. Ajay chose not to kill Pagan since Pagan could have easily killed him more than once.
Pagan took Ajay outside where he saw the resting place of his half sister that he never knew existed. Ajay than laid his mother's ashes next to hers. Pagen then decided it was time for him to step down and return to China. Ajay decided to stay and he became the new king. Eventually he married Amita and they both agreed no more bloodshed and no more golden path. Jack went back to the states for his new assignment. But couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the file on his desk.
"Kill Joseph Seed", The order read.
