Two weeks came and went. Like they promised, Sheep and X Agent came back to the Farm to check on Colin and find out what he wants to do. To their surprise, Colin appeared to be excited to see the two sheep, but tried to hide it. "Hello, Colin." Sheep said. "Hi!" Colin welcomed, "Just waiting for Uncle John and Swanky..." Sheep and X Agent knew why Colin was waiting for them, but stayed quiet for the fun of it. Shortly after, the farmer and his dog finally arrived. "Greetings, you two." Farmer John introduced. "I think you came here to see Colin?" Swanky asked. "Indeed." X Agent agreed. Colin slowly looked at Farmer John, "Uncle John... You know about... That thing weeks ago?" "I hadn't forgotten one bit." Farmer John confirmed. "Same for us!" Sheep added with X Agent nodding. "Good..." Colin sighed in relief, "I had made a decision..." "What do you want to do?" Farmer John asked, "You can always change your mind." "I already made up my mind." Colin told. Then, with a small shock, Colin ran towards Sheep and X Agent and gave them a hug. "Sheep and X Agent... I'm more than happy to be your son!" Sheep and X Agent smiled at Colin before giving him a hug back. "Welcome to the Walter-Flores flock..." X Agent welcomed. Colin was confused, "Walter-Flores? What kind of a flock name is that?" Sheep chuckled, "We'll explain it sometime." "To be honest..." Farmer John added, "I'm so happy that you finally founded a family to be with... I know I tried my absolute best to take care of you, but I think Sheep and X Agent will do a better job..." "So, what are you going to do first with your new family, Colin?" Swanky asked. Colin began to think, "Oh... I hadn't thought of that... Well... What should I call my parents? They're both fathers and I don't want to confuse anyone!" "How about Father Sheep and X Agent?" X Agent suggested. "Good enough, I suppose..." Colin agreed, "But where am I going to sleep? What is the Big City like? How will my life be like now?" "Calm down, Colin." Sheep comforted, "You'll find out when you get to our apartment..." "We'll take good care of you..." X Agent soothed. "So, do you want to go to our apartment now?" Sheep asked. "Might as well..." Colin nodded, "But I'm going to miss Uncle John and Swanky..." "Don't worry, Colin!" Farmer John relaxed, "You can always go to the Farm and visit me!" "That's what Farmer John told when I moved to the Big City." Sheep whispered. Colin became more calm, knowing that his uncle-like friend and new parents will be there for him when he needed them the most. "Thank you all..." He thanked. "No problem at all, Colin!" Farmer John smiled. "So, would you like to go to see what your new home would be like?" X Agent asked. "Might as well..." Colin agreed. Before he, along with Sheep and X Agent, left, Colin looked at Farmer John and Swanky. "Well... I know I'll most definitely see you again... But this is goodbye for now... Thank you so much for taking care of me... I don't know where I'll be without you..." "Goodbye, Colin..." Farmer John replied, "And don't thank us. You owe me and Swanky nothing..." Colin smiled a little, "Well... Glad to know that, I guess..." "Now you better catch up with Sheep and X Agent!" Swanky reminded as she chuckled. Colin looked around and saw that Sheep and X Agent were slightly away from him. "Right... Don't want to keep my fathers waiting!" Colin laughed back, before he walked his way towards the two sheep. Once he was close enough, Colin began to follow his parents on the path to the Big City, with Farmer John and Swanky waving a goodbye to them.
Many hours went past, and Colin is adjusting to his new life and way of living. The Big City was, of course, a major change and shock to the small sheep as nothing he recognized from his life at Farmer John's farm was there. In addition, Colin found it odd that he'll be sleeping in a bed with a blanket and pillow tonight from now on, rather than the dry and soft grass. What didn't help was that his room wasn't ready, as Sheep and X Agent didn't fully know if he wanted to be their son, which currently only has a single bed and a light bulb to light it up. Despite all of that, Colin loved his new home. There were many windows in the apartment that he could look through and see the streets of the Big City beneath him. The apartment's temperature can be adjusted, so Colin doesn't have to worry about being too hot or cold as much any more. The food was a lot more varied and unique to him, as most of Colin's dinner was previously grass or plant-based food, but now he was trying out hand-made (or hoof-made) food and was enjoying it. Most importantly, Colin felt really happy to be with Sheep and X Agent. He began to trust them even more when asking for help with a problem going on or when he simply needed him. They would even help him and give him tips about fashion, from styling his hair in different ways to even putting on makeup. Colin was proud of himself for agreeing to be Sheep and X Agent's son and, for the first time in his life, felt like he had a family...
Chapter Ending Notes:
For those confused (just like Colin), Walter-Flores is basically the surname of Sheep and X Agent, after they got married. In summary: I headcanon Sheep and X Agent's last name to be Walter and Flores (respectively) and I decided to mix these two names together to create Walter-Flores and made it their last name after the events of Part 5, to represent their status as husbands.
