Chapter 8 : Lincoln's Dilemma Part 1
Alfea Dormitory...
"Lincoln has PTSD?"asked Bloom hopping she heard right.
"Yeah it happened a few years back. Lincoln feelt being overshadowed by me and my sisters, then Lincoln found out he is the duke of Loch Loud in Scotland.
He really believed now as a duke he can no longer stay in our shadow , but then a very , very bad person made Morag came and put Lincoln the rest of us in danger. But Lincoln saved us from Morag.
However Lincoln ended up being traumatized by the experince fearing that he was this close to lose us , ever since then Lincoln tried alot of therapy.
It took me and my sisters alot to make him feel a little better , but some scars are still ingrained inside his heart fearing that if something happens to one of us his PTSD comes bitting him really bad"said Lucy giving the summary of why Lincoln has PTSD.
"Poor Lincoln"said Musa feeling sorry for him just as the rest of the girls looking at his sleeping face.
"Dont worry Lucy , no matter what will always be his side and yours"said Bloom.
"Really?"asked Lucy.
"Yes , since we are all friends and friends support each other"said Layla with the rest of the girls nodding making Lucy really happy.
It was getting late and the girls went to bed to rest since tommorow is a new day.
Next day...
Everyone was in the dinning room enjoying there breakfeast , well almost everyone.
Lincoln was not here yet and the girls decided to bring him some food when they get back.
However the doors of the dinning room opened with everyone looking to see who it was and it was none other then Lincoln finally awake ready to eat and study at Alfea.
Walking the dinning room Licoln hears lots of whispers from the girls but decided to ignore them as he was heading to where his friends were sitting.
Seeing everyone present Headmistress Faragonda grabs the attention of everyone informing them of the grand fairy ball gala as some sorta welcoming for the new students and of course no classes today.
Back at the dorm the girls are sitting in lobby thinking what to wear for the fairy ball.
"I can wait to show everyone my awesome new dress"said Stella happy to the max for this ball.
"Youre the tenth person today to say that"said Roxy with a smile on her face.
But just then the door to the lobby with Lucy entering.
"Sigh"every place i go i hear the exact same thing"said Lucy making the rest of the girls curious at what she means by that.
"What happened?"asked Tecna.
"Sigh"My brother he is the talk of the school and i heard many girls planning to ask him if they wanna be there partner for the fairy ball gala"said Lucy.
The girls giggle at this understanding why Lucy looked so tired.
"Must be hard having such a popular brother ever since he found out he is the descendant of the legendary mage hero"said Flora.
"Actually my brother was popular with girls even before finding out that he is a magical creature and the descendant of the legendary mage hero"said Lucy surprising one more time the girls with this new info on Lincoln.
"Well he is really cute so you cant blame the rest of the girls?"asked Stella.
"I guess not"said Lucy.
"So does Lincoln choose a partner for the fairy ball?"asked Bloom.
"Not yet but the way things are going on out there he might end up making a decision... at least i hope so"said Lucy deciding not to go into details after what happened with her brother when another ball was taking place back home in Royal Woods a few years back.
"Well... do you girls think Lincoln will ask one of us to the ball?"asked Musa.
"I dunno , i bet we are not cool enough for him"said Layla now that she knows how popular Lincoln is with the ladies.
"Actually i spoke with Lincoln about what he thinks of each you after the announcement Headmistress Faragonda made about the fairy ball curious to hear what he said?!"said Lucy with a smile on her face.
All the girls gaved there response when she noticed how they were looking at her.
"Well... here goes he considers you all great girls , probably the best ones he eve seen and he would like to take someone as his ball partner"said Lucy.
The girls looked pretty happy that Lincoln considers them the best girls among all until...
"Sorry girls something came up so i guess i will see ya all later"said Stella leaving the lobby but there girls were not dumb enough they all know what she was up to and they wont allow her to have a head start.
Lincoln was sitting on a bench reading a book when...
"Lincoln , hey Lincoln"said a voice that gained his attention.
Turning around Lincoln noticed Stella running towards him with a big smile on her face.
"Hey Stella anything i can do for you?"asked the loud boy.
"Well... i was wondering if you got any plans for the fairy ball"said Stella.
"Not really"said Lincoln.
"Really? Then if you want wanna go with me to the fairy ball gala as my partner?"asked Stella hopping Lincoln will say yes.
Lincoln was surprised to hear the princess of Solaria ask him but he decided to give Stella a shot accepting her invite.
"Sure"said Lincoln seeing Stella looking really happy that she hugged him taking Lincoln off by surprise witha blush appearing on his face.
After Stella realized what she did , she let him go running away happy and embarassed at the same time.
"Well... that happened"said Lincoln unaware that this will be start of messy situation for him.
Later that day Lincoln was at the lobby playing a video game when...
Out of nowhere Tecna appears in the room. Seeing Lincoln playing a video game Tecna asks Lincoln if she can join him with Lincoln agreeing.
After a couple of good minutes of video gaming both Tecna and Lincoln took a break with Tecna bitting the horns of the bull asking:
"Say Lincoln if youre interested can we go to the fairy ball as partners? If you want of course"said Tecna.
"Sure"said Lincoln not realizing at that moment he made a big mistake.
Tecna smilled at Lincoln and decided to leave but looking really happy.
"Hmmm... i feel like i am forgetting something but what?"asked Lincoln.
The day went on with Lincoln as he was later on asked by Bloom , Musa , Flora , Layla and Roxy to be there partner at the fairy ball still unaware he promised to Stella and Tecna also to be there partner at the fairy ball.
But then as Lincoln was enjoying a nice snack Lincoln finally realized what just happened feeling like at total morron.
"Ohh no... i just agreed to 7 different girls to take them at the fairy ball. Dang it this is like that time when i avoided Ronnie Anne but still ended up going to the ball with 4 different girls thanks to my meddling sisters. I gotta say something to the girls before this get out of control like they already have"said Lincoln.
His wish was granted seeing all the girls entering the lobby looking all happy.
Lincoln took this oportunity and spoke:
"Uhh.. girls can we talk?"asked Lincoln.
"Sure"said Bloom with the rest of the girls next to her.
"I...i... Lincoln stopped speaking seeing how happy the girls looked and that was his downfall.
"Nevermind"said Lincoln.
The girls saw him and Bloom was about to speak again when the clock was heard and the girls realized they are late to there appointment rushing out of the room hopping that whatever Lincoln had to say it was nothing to important.
If the girls knew how wrong they were at that moment.
"Great , now what will i do?"asked Lincoln looking at the audience.
