Ichigo rose out of the shadows in front of a garden with a large sign overhead that read, Gotham Botanical Gardens. Ichigo could see the garden was closed. Ichigo waved his hands over the lock, unlocking it. He opened the door and entered the garden. He locked the door behind him. Ichigo explored the garden. Suddenly someone rose out of the garden.
"My, don't you know the garden is closed right now?" A green-skinned woman asked.
"I do." Ichigo calmly replied. "I am here to find you Pamela."
"Oh, you know of me?" She asked.
"I do," Ichigo replied. "And I am here to give both of you a choice." Ichigo glanced behind him to see Harley Quinn holding a large red hammer, ready to hit him in the head.
"Harley." Poison Ivy scolded.
"Sorry, hon." She replied.
"You'll give us a choice?" Poison Ivy asked.
"Yes. I am here on a mission to remove a majority of villains." Ichigo said.
"So, you are responsible for what happened to the other villains in Gotham City?" She asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied.
"Man, you sure are a black knight." Harley Quinn interjected.
"And we're on that list?" She asked. Ichigo could see green vines begin to rise out from the garden.
"You're not." Ichigo turned to Harley Quinn. "But she is," Ichigo admitted.
"So, you're here to kill her?" Poison Ivy said. More green vines rose out of the ground, ready to attack him.
"No," Ichigo replied.
"Then why are you here?" She asked.
"Two reasons," Ichigo said. "The first is that I know Harley committed these acts because of the Joker's manipulation. If she stuck under Joker's influence, I would have immediately ended her." Ichigo said.
"But you didn't." Harley Quinn said.
"I didn't because I could see that Pamela is a positive influence on you," Ichigo said. "So, I want to offer both of you an opportunity to start over in a new world and not need to hide who you are."
"You would give me a chance?" Harley Quinn asked.
"Why didn't you give the other villains this chance?" Poison Ivy asked.
"Who said I didn't," Ichigo replied as he used Haōgan to summon Killer Croc and Orca from Haō Zaimushō.
"Croc? Orca?" Harley Quinn said, recognizing her fellow villain.
"I heard from the underground network that he killed you." Poison Ivy said. Killer Croc and Orca looked at Ichigo with a confused look.
"I used a technique to have a realistic copy of each of you and then killed those copies," Ichigo explained. "I don't want your victims to discover that I gave you both a second chance when they believe you should also die to my blade."
"I see…" Killer Croc said.
"It does make sense," Orca replied.
"Thank you," Ichigo said as he sent them back to Haō Zaimushō.
"So, what's the other reason?" Poison Ivy asked.
"I believe an important thing for Harley's road to recovery is killing Joker," Ichigo said.
"Makes sense." Poison Ivy said.
"Really?" Harley Quinn grabbed Ichigo's hand and pulled him to look at her. "You'll give me a chance to kill him?"
"I would," Ichigo replied.
"Then where do I sign?" Harley Quinn asked. Poison Ivy sighed.
"If she's in then I also join." Poison Ivy said.
"Great," Ichigo said as he presented them both with a contract. They both read the contracts and signed them. "You ladies got everything you need?" Ichigo said as he pulled out his scroll. He found Joker's name and clicked on it, seeing the arrow."
"I'm ready." Poison Ivy said.
"So am I!" Harley said. They looked to see she was in a completely different outfit. Gone was her signature red and black gesture jester outfit. She allowed her blonde hair to flow free. Her skin was still pale with red eye shadow around her eyes and black lipstick. She wore a short black and red strapped crop top with a star and a diamond on it, a red and blue bomber jacket on top of the crop top, a black choker around her neck, black and red fingerless leather gloves, black and red pants, and black heeled combat boots with red laces (1). They could see she also had a backpack. Ichigo glanced to see Poison Ivy's mouth wide open. Ichigo calmly closed her mouth. "Based on Red's face, I look good!" Harley said.
"You do look good," Ichigo admitted. "It also helps you with your road to recovery," Ichigo said.
"Thank you, Knight." She said.
"Stay calm," Ichigo said as he pulled them into the shadows. He used Shadowrun to move everyone toward Joker's location.
Scene Change: Abandoned Warehouse
Punchline, Joker's new right-hand woman, was sitting on an old couch watching the news report. Joker was upstairs tinkering with something.
"Joker, dear!" She shouted.
"What!" Joker shouted.
"According to the news, Batman is out of commission," Punchline said. Suddenly Joker leaped off the second-floor rail and landed on the couch, sending Punchline flying up in the air. She quickly landed back on the couch. She turned the TV up.
"This is Vicki Vale, from Gotham Gazette. We are reporting live outside an abandoned amusement park where the members of the Justice League lost against the vigilante, Avenger." Joker and Punchline could see the injured members of the Justice League, including Batman. Soon all of them were teleported away. The broadcast continued to talk about Avenger, the nickname given by the witnesses and the villains' victims.
"With Batman out of the picture, we should be able to take over Gotham City," Punchline said. Joker, on the other hand, had his hand underneath his chin, thinking about something. "Dear, what's wrong?"
"Just thinking," Joker said.
"About what?" Punchline asked.
"What is the best way to spread chaos." He replied. Suddenly all the light bulbs exploded, plunging the room into darkness.
"Who's trying to scare the Joker!" Joker yelled as he quickly looked around the room, trying to see who did it. The shadows rippled as Ichigo, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy rose out of the shadows.
"Traitorous bitch!" Punchline shouted as she charged toward them. Ichigo snapped his fingers, and shadow tentacles shot out and wrapped themselves around Joker and Punchline. He turned to Harley Quinn.
"He's all yours," Ichigo replied. Harley Quinn calmly walked toward Joker. On the other hand, Joker tried to free himself. She soon stood in front of Joker.
"H-hi Harley-" Joker started. Harley immediately kicked Joker in the head.
"I'm not Harley!" She yelled. "I. am. Harleen. Frances. Quinzel!" Every word she said was immediately followed by a kick to Joker. Ichigo and Poison Ivy watched as Harleen let out all her frustration by violently attacking Joker. After a few minutes, Harleen stopped her attack. They could see blood dripping out of his nose and mouth. Other parts of his white face were covered in bruises.
"Are you satisfied?" Ichigo asked.
"One last thing," Harleen said as she took off her backpack. She unzipped the backpack and flip the backpack upside down, dumping the contents on Joker. Harleen's old harlequin outfit, countless pictures, and other objects landed on Joker. Harleen pulled out a lighter and lit it. "Burn in Hell Fucker." Harleen dropped the lighter on the harlequin outfit, causing it to catch on fire. She stood by and watched as the fire began to spread and began to burn Joker alive.
"AHAHAHAHA!" Joker yelled. His laughter and cries of pain mixed, becoming indistinguishable. Harleen glanced at Ichigo.
"His screaming is starting to annoy me." She admitted. Ichigo walked over and pulled Joker's soul out of his burning body. His soulless body lay motionlessly on the ground as the fire continued to consume it. Ichigo threw Joker's soul into Hell. He turned to Punchline, who long had stopped resisting. She helplessly lay on the ground, waiting for Ichigo.
"Just kill me now." She mumbled to Ichigo. He looked at Punchline before ripping her soul out of her body and throwing it into Hell. Ichigo stabbed the Punchline's soulless body and killed it exactly as he did with the other villains.
"Are both of you ready?" Ichigo asked.
"I am." Harleen said.
"I need to collect a few plants at the Botanical Gardens." Poison Ivy said. Ichigo created a clone of Harleen's body and killed it. After that, he pulled them into his shadow and used Shadowrun to move back to Gotham Botanical Gardens. Poison Ivy collected her plants and her research. Once they were ready, Ichigo had them sign the contract and then sent them to Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo once again entered the shadow before moving toward his next target.
Scene Change: Hall of Doom
In a secret base, three people sat around a circular table.
"Deathstroke, how many villains have we collected?" A man asked. He possessed a muscular tall body with a medium-dark skin tone, strong. He also has three pale scars across his face, brown eyes, and black long hair pulled back. The man wore a long lapel-less dark-blue coat with a red stripe on the edges. In addition, he also dons black gloves and boots.
"Vandal, we were able to get fifteen villains to join us. Lobo and Mongul are both coming to Earth as well." Deathstroke replied. He was in a full-body black outfit with a monochromatic color scheme and steel-toed boots. He has his mask on the table. The mask is composed of an orange-copper color on the side with his eye and black on the other.
"Better than expected," Vandal replied. He turned to a young man wearing all-black Puritan-like clothes. He has black hair in the shape of a devil horn. In his lap was a dark orange cat with black stripes and red eyes. "Klarion, is your side of the plan ready?"
"Of course," Klarion replied as he petted his cat. "After all, I am a Lord of Chaos."
"Good. With all the bait, no doubt he will show up." Vandal said. They heard a ping sound from Deathstroke. He looked at his wrist.
"Lobo and Mongul have arrived," Deathstroke reported.
"Good." He replied.
Scene Change: With Ichigo
Ichigo appeared in the Everglades in Florida.
"There are twenty villains on the list," Ichigo observed.
"I can sense demonic-based magical protections around the area," Mysteria reported.
"This is a trap. Likely set up by Vandal Savage." Chishiki suggested.
"Make sense," Ichigo replied.
"It appears they are hiding underneath the Everglades," Chishiki added.
"That's fine," Ichigo replied. "Let's see how this plays out." Ichigo crossed through the protections. Suddenly the ground began to rumble as fiery demonic magic seals began to form around the area. Ichigo could see demonic creatures appear.
"Please allow me to deal with them," Keter asked.
"Ok," Ichigo said. Keter appeared on the grassy field. All the demons noticed Keter's appearance. They roared and charged toward her. She activated Netzach, summoning a bone white horn with golden angelic runes engraved on the bone. She raised the tip of the horn and blew. The white horn released a unique booming buzz sound. A golden seal appeared around Keter, summoning a squad of twenty-one knights riding pegasi.
"Attack." She ordered. The knights drew their weapons and charged toward the demons.
Scene Change: With Ichigo
As Keter dealt with the demons, Ichigo arrived at the edge of the Everglades and entered the darkness. As he moved, Ichigo found a large black dome.
"Found it." Ichigo thought. He left the shadow and fazed through the wall. He immediately returned to the shadows. He followed the arrow before he arrived in a ballroom filled with other villains.
"Shadow Thief, have you him yet?" A tall, strongly built man asked. He has short blond hair. His face is covered by a gray hockey mask, revealing his brown eyes. He wore a sleeveless blue muscle shirt, with a collar that covered some of his neck. He also wore arm and elbow pads on both arms, as well as fingerless gloves. On his left arm, he has metal plates attached that act very much like armor.
"Not yet, Sportsmaster." Shadow Thief replied. He wore a completely black suit with white armor around his chest and knees.
"Keep an eye out. Based on reports he travels through the shadow. In the distance, he noticed someone wearing a yellow version of the Flash outfit with red lightning bolts.
"That is Eobard Thawne, under the moniker as Reverse Flash. He is also a speedster," Chishiki warned.
"Got it," Ichigo replied.
"Stand before Creation. Fall after The End. Chrónou Génesi." Ichigo chant, activating Schrift C: The Chrónou Árchonta. Chrónou Génesi appeared in his hand.
"Chrónou Stási," Ichigo said. He focuses his energy on the ballroom, freezing them in place. Ichigo ripped Eobard Thawne's soul from his body and threw it into Hell. He glanced at his scroll to see his name was crossed out. Ichigo repeated the process with the other villains in the ballroom.
"There goes Sportsmaster, Ultra-Humanite, Black Manta, Icicle, Count Vertigo, Multiplex, Prankster, Shadow Thief, Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Shatterfist, Felix Faust, Mad Mestro, Lobo, and Mongul." Ichigo identified. Ichigo looked at, Sportsmaster Silver Banshee, and Chesiree. "Chishiki, can you go and take over the Warworld?" Ichigo asked.
"I can," Chishiki said as she appeared beside Ichigo. Due to her being a part of Ichigo's powers, she was unaffected by Chrónou Stási. She walked over to Mongul's dead body and found a teleporting device. She activated the device and invaded Warworld. Ichigo turned to the remaining villain. Ichigo had them bounded by the Chains of Hell.
"Chrónou Archí." Ichigo activated. Silver Banshee opened her mouth trying to scream when Ichigo appeared in front of her and activated Schrift N: The Negate. Her eyes widened as she closed her mouth.
"I-I can control myself." She said. She turned to Ichigo. "Please help me." She begged.
"That's the plan," Ichigo said as he snapped his fingers, freeing her right hand. She bit her finger and signed the contract in blood. "I'm going to knock you out for now," Ichigo said.
"Ok." Silver Banshee replied. Ichigo smacked her in the neck, knocking her unconscious. Ichigo quickly wrote a note and sent all of them to Haō Zaimushō. Suddenly he heard slow clapping. Ichigo turned to see Deathstroke, Klarion, and Vandal Savage.
"I didn't expect a mortal would be able to control the Chains of Hell," Klarion said. "I wonder how powerful I would become with that power." His hands glowed with chaotic crimson energy. All the dead bodies around Ichigo glowed crimson as they all stood up and charged toward Ichigo. Ichigo waved his hand as a wave of hellfire shot out toward everyone. Klarion growled as he surrounded them in a barrier of chaotic crimson energy. The hellfire incinerated all the zombie villains, and some of the flames slammed into the barrier. Afterward, the Hellfire centralized and rushed toward the remaining villains.
"Dam you!" Klarion yelled as he strengthened his barrier against the hellfire.
"Klarion, can you extinguish these flames?" Vandal asked.
"I can but it will take some time." He growled. Vandal nodded his head. He turned to Deathstroke.
"Distract him." He said.
"Fine," Deathstroke replied.
"This should help," Klarion said. Deathstroke's body glowed crimson. He could feel his body had gotten stronger. Klarion opened a small hole on top of his dome barrier. Vandal cupped his hands together, making a step. Deathstroke jumped into Vandal's cupped hands. Vandal threw Deathstroke out of the dome, toward Ichigo. He had his katanas drawn, ready to attack him. Suddenly Suzumebachi appeared and intercepted him with her butterfly knives.
"Your fight is with me now." She said. Ichigo glanced at Klarion and Vandal.
"We will need you to deal with him," Vandal said as he drew a saber.
"Fine," Klarion said as he created a set of stairs and a walkway for Vandal to use to get out of the barrier and away from the Hellfire. He leaped toward Ichigo with his drawn saber.
"Unfortunately, I am not your opponent," Ichigo said. Suddenly Katen appeared and blocked Vandal's attack. Kyōkotsu appeared behind Vandal and attacked his back. Vandal suddenly jumped to the side, avoiding Kyōkotsu's attack.
"We'll deal with him. You should take care of the immediate threat." Katen said. Kyōkotsu silently nodded her head.
"Got it," Ichigo said as he looked at Klarion, who was finally able to extinguish the hellfire.
"Finally!" He yelled as he glared at Ichigo. His hands glowed with chaotic crimson energy before firing them at Ichigo. He casually sliced them apart with Rebellion. This just infuriated Klarion more.
"NO! NO! NO!" He yelled as he continued to attack Ichigo with his energy blasts. Ichigo calmly sliced them apart with Rebellion. "LET ME HIT YOU!" Suddenly a golden cutlass came out of nowhere and stabbed Klarion's cat, instantly killing it. "Teekl!" Klarion yelled. Ichigo turned around to see Keter standing there in the room. Suddenly Klarion's body began to phase out.
"You're not getting away," Ichigo said as the Chains of Hell pierced his body, keeping his body connected with this reality.
"What are you doing?" Klarion asked as he struggled to move his chained body.
"Simple," Ichigo replied. "Sending you to Hell." Klarion's eyes widen.
"NO!" He screamed as he was pulled into Hell.
"Thank you Keter," Ichigo said.
"I live to serve." She replied as she returned to his mindscape. He glanced at Suzumebachi, Katen, and Kyōkotsu to see how they were doing. Ichigo could see Suzumebachi was playing with Deathstroke. Every time Deathstroke tried to attack her, she used her short height to immediately evade his attack and counterattacked some part of his unprotected body. She glanced over to see Ichigo.
"Send him over," Ichigo asked.
"Got it,"Suzumebachi replied as she suddenly kicked Deathstroke toward Ichigo. Deathstroke stabbed his katanas down, trying to slow himself. Ichigo grabbed the back of Deathstroke and spun him around, making him face Ichigo. Ichigo kicked him in the chest, once again off-balancing him. Ichigo snapped his fingers as he was bound by the Chains of Hell. Ichigo watched as Deathstroke struggled against the Chains of Hell. Ichigo glanced to see Katen and Kyōkotsu struggling against Vandal Savage. They are still fighting against him without using their Shikai. Vandal utilized his experience to gradually suppress them.
"Are both of you, ok?" Ichigo asked.
"We're ok," Katen replied as she blocked Vandal's attack.
"Do you want to send him over to me?" Ichigo asked.
"Sure." She replied. Katen and Kyōkotsu suddenly shunpō'ed behind Vandal Savage. The sudden technique caught Vandal off guard. They both kicked him in the back pushing him toward Ichigo. Ichigo waved his hand, sending another set of Chains of Hell toward the incoming villain. The Chains of Hell wrapped around him and pulled him next to Deathstroke. Ichigo used Legilimency on both of them, obtaining all their knowledge. After that, he threw them into Hell.
"Another bunch off the list." Ichigo thought as he glanced at his list.
"Ichigo, I need you up in the Warworld," Chishiki said.
"Ok. Give me a moment." Ichigo said as he walked to the control room. He pressed a few buttons, causing the Hall of Doom to rise out of the Everglades. Ichigo grabbed all the dead bodies, except for Vandal Savages, and threw them on the shore. Ichigo used Haōgan to call for one of Chishiki's clones from Haō Zaimushō.
"What can I do for you, Master?" She asked.
"I want you to study this body to find out all its secrets," Ichigo said as he handed her Vandal Savage's body.
"Yes Master." She said.
"I am also going to send this base into Haō Zaimushō. Use it as you see fit."
"Yes Master." The clone said. Ichigo stepped out of the Hall of Doom. He used Haōgan to send it into Haō Zaimushō. Another clone of Chishiki appeared. She grabbed Ichigo and teleported them away.
Scene Change: Warworld
Ichigo and Chishiki appeared in a large room. Ichigo could see computer monitors that displayed various aliens attacking a large set of doors. All of the aliens appeared physically different, except for a turquoise and purple starfish with a single yellow eye attached to their heads.
"From what I could gather, Mongul planned to unleash his army of gladiators upon Earth, once he confirmed the defeat of the Justice League. He captured Starro and used its powers to enslave all gladiators." Chishiki began.
"Let me guess, Starro broke the deal?" Ichigo asked.
"Not exactly." She admitted. "With Mongul's death, Starro was freed from his control and used the gladiators to attempt to steal the crystal key which keeps Warworld active." Chishiki pointed to the large crystal behind them.
"Aren't we in control of Warworld now?" Ichigo asked.
"We should." She admitted. "But something is preventing the signals from the headset from reaching Warworld's helm."
"I see… Should we kill them?" Ichigo asked.
"I believe we should kill the starfish and detain the Gladiators first," Chishiki suggested.
"Ok." Ichigo accepted. "Naamah," Ichigo said. She appeared in front of Ichigo.
"Yes, Master?" She replied.
"I will need you in the shadow to retrieve the unconscious gladiators and destroy the Starro attached to their faces," Ichigo said.
"Yes Master." She replied.
"Engulf the light and plunge the world in darkness, Nightshroud." Ichigo chanted, activating Schrift U: The Umbra. He draped Nightshroud over Naamah. She entered Ichigo's shadow. Ichigo sealed Jigoku no Yoroi and summoned Kōsetsu. "Open the door." He ordered. Chishiki opened the door. Ichigo shunpō'ed through the door. She immediately closed the door behind him, preventing them from getting in. All the enslaved gladiators redirected their attack toward him. Ichigo calmly spun Kōsetsu. "Dance, Sode no Shirayuki." He said as Kōsetsu entered Shikai. "Tsugi no mai, Hakuren." Ichigo said as he punctured the ground four times in a semi-circle. As ice reiatsu began to flow up from the punctures toward Ichigo. He stabbed Sode no Shirayuki forward, unleashing a large, powerful avalanche of cold air toward the gladiators. Some of the gladiators fired an energy blast at the incoming cold air. The cold air extinguished the energy blast and continued to flow toward them. Many of the gladiators ran away from the air, some weren't fast enough. Ice began to form around them. The starfish on those gladiators jumped off their host and tried to run away.
"Go-banme no mai, Tsurarada." Ichigo said. Icicles formed above the air and descended toward the starfishes. The icicles pierced them, killing them. "Dairoku no mai, Furu Yuki [Sixth Dance, Falling Snow]," Ichigo said. Snow began to fall despite being indoors. Naamah used the coverage to pull the frozen gladiators inside the shadows. Ichigo could see the starfishes panicking as Dairoku no mai, Furu Yuki took effect. "San no mai, Shirafune [Third Dance, White Sword]." Sode no Shirayuki's white blade elongated and began to bend as if it was now a sword whip. Ichigo attacked the rest of the gladiators. It didn't take long before the starfishes abandoned the gladiators and ran away from Ichigo. Ichigo continued his attack. It didn't take long before Ichigo stared at a gigantic starfish. Ichigo could see slots opened from its body. Small objects were fired toward Ichigo. He jumped to the side to see the projectiles were more starfishes.
"Looks like this is Starro's main body." Ichigo thought.
"Some no mai, Tsukishiro." Ichigo pointed Sode no Shirayuki up in the 12 o'clock position and began to move his sword, like a clock. As he moved, a white line trailed behind him. Once he returns to the 12 o'clock position, he stabs Sode no Shirayuki in the middle, causing the white circle to fall and he flung the icy white circle toward Starro. Starro jumped to the side, avoiding the attack. Ichigo used San no mai Shirafune to attack Starro. Starro quickly dodged the attack, making sure its body didn't touch the blade.
"Looks like Starro is aware of what happens if it touches my blade." Ichigo thought as he continued to attack Starro. Whenever Starro has a chance, it would unleash more starfish. Ichigo dodged the starfish and allowed the snow to freeze them solid. Gradually Starro began to slow down, exhaustion began to settle. Suddenly a white circle glowed around Starro. Ichigo smirked as a pillar of white ice immediately formed. Ichigo snapped his fingers. The pillar of ice shattered, leaving nothing remaining. Ichigo could see Starro's soul floated where its body used to be. Ichigo made sure all the starfish were dead before he sealed Shirayuki. He summoned Jigoku no Yoroi and sent Starro's soul into Hell. The doors behind them opened as Chishiki walked toward them. Naamah rose out of the shadow.
"Master, follow me," Chishiki said. They walked down a few hallways and stairs before they arrived in the room. The roof of the room was shaped like a dome. In the middle of the room was a metallic throne. Chishiki handed Ichigo a headband. "Master put the headband on and then sit on the throne." Ichigo placed the headband on and sat down on the throne.
"Detecting new user." Ichigo heard in his mind. Suddenly the room lit up as orange circuit lines began to travel out of the throne throughout the room. "Beginning ownership registration and knowledge transfer." Ichigo suddenly could sense the entire Warworld. He immediately knew everything about the Warworld.
"Master, are you all right?" Naamah asked.
"I'm fine," Ichigo replied. "How are the gladiators?"
"They are currently asleep." She reported.
"I see… Follow me." Ichigo said. He led them out of the command room and to an empty room. "Release them here," Ichigo said. Naamah released all the gladiators in the room. Ichigo activated Schrift P: The Planter. Ichigo created a magical dome filled with life energy. He slowly forced their body to absorb the life energy, speeding up their recovery. After a few minutes, the gladiators began to wake up. They noticed Ichigo sitting there, with the Warworld's headband on.
"You're the one who killed Mongul?" A female gladiator asked. She has light skin, blue eyes, red lips, and waist-length blonde hair, which she holds back with a winged, crown-like headdress. She wore a short white dress decorated with metal patterns, as well as a red cape, golden boots, and long golden bracers that extended from her elbows to her wrists. She carries a sword with a crystal in the middle on a scabbard on her back. Due to the collars on their neck, their words were translated into Japanese.
"I did," Ichigo replied. "And you are?"
"I am She-Ra from the fallen planet of Eternia." She introduced.
"So, what are you planning to do with us?" Another female gladiator asked. She has fair skin, blue eyes, and knee-length silver hair which was tied in a ponytail. She has a red-filled circle on her forehead that can be seen beneath her bangs and three matching red stripes on each side of her cheek. She wore a tight-fitting red sleeveless jumpsuit with minor padding and straps toward the sides; fingerless black elbow-length gloves; and red knee-high split-toed boots. On her back were a pair of katanas.
"I planned to free all of you," Ichigo admitted. "And you are?"
"I am Zannah of Khera." She introduced. "And why?"
"I don't need any of you," Ichigo admitted.
"But can we stay with you?" A third female gladiator said. She is a dark-skinned woman with a tall and curvaceous figure. She has long and wavy white hair which she wears freely down her back. She has an orange and brown crown on top of her head, which also keeps her hair back. She also has blue eyes. She has on a high-collared white cloak with a red gem in the middle. She has on a metallic silver one-piece with matching silver metallic thigh-high boots.
"And you are?" Ichigo asked.
"I am Glorith." She introduced. "My home world has long been destroyed, causing me to drift around space. Eventually, Mongul found me and captured me." She admitted.
"Can I make a deal with you?" Ichigo turned to see another beautiful woman. She has tanned skin; angular, dark-violet eyes with black eyeliner, and small, rounded, violet eyebrows. She also has shiny, straight, waist-length, black hair with short bangs. She wore full-body armor with a black crop top, a mini-skirt, and thigh-high boots.
"What is it?" Ichigo asked.
"I desire revenge." She replied. She glared at a group of gladiators in the distance. Ichigo could see they were of two alien races. One alien race resembled large blue gorillas. The other race appeared to be green-skinned, humanoid aliens clad in armor.
"And they are?" Ichigo asked.
"The blue ones are Citadelians while the green ones are Gordanians." She explained.
"And you are?" Ichigo asked.
"I'm Blackfire." She replied. "They are alien conquers and slavers. They had captured me long ago. I was able to escape their clutches. Unfortunately, they found me and took me back. Before we arrived, all of us were captured by Mongul.
"Lies!" One of the Citadelians yelled.
"Silence," Ichigo said as he glared at the Citadelian who just yelled. He turned back to Blackfire. "Blackfire, I am aware of who you are. You were the first-born Tamaranean of the previous King and Queen of Tamaran. On the day of your birth, one of Tamaran's cities was attacked. The citizens blamed your birth for causing the attack. As you grew older, you suffered from a sickness, which prevented you from absorbing the solar radiation to use your power. Your parents stripped you of your title as heir to the throne and gave it to your little brother. The citizens spread rumors that this was a punishment from the Tamaranean Gods." Ichigo said. Blackfire's eyes widen.
"Stop! Please stop." She shouted, interrupting Ichigo. "You proved your point." She said.
"Good," Ichigo replied. "What about this." Ichigo snapped his finger as a circular platform rose with the Citadelians and the Gordanians on it. "Blackfire, you can fight all of them. Will that satisfy our desire for revenge?"
"Better than nothing." She replied. Ichigo allowed her to use her powers. Her eyes and hands began to glow. She floated up to the platform. A transparent dome appeared around them, trapping them inside. A few moments later, they all began to fight.
"Is it a good idea to let them fight?" A young gladiator asked. She's a slender girl of medium height, with pale blue skin and neck-length straight black hair. Her eyes have black sclerae and red irises. She wears a formfitting jumpsuit, covering her entire body from neck to toe, with a hood attached to her shoulders. The suit is almost entirely white, except for the black area around her neck and above her chest, as well as black gloves.
"It's fine," Ichigo replied. "And you are?"
"I'm Tinya Wazzo, from the fallen world of Bgtzl." She said. Ichigo snapped his fingers. The ground began to shake as four walls formed behind him. The top of the walls connected, forming a room.
"One by one, all of you will enter this room," Ichigo said. "From there, I will talk with you about your options." Ichigo entered the room. "Whoever wants to go first, come on in." He said.
"I'll go first then," She-Ra said as she entered the room. The door silently closed behind her. There was a table and two chairs, one of which was occupied by Ichigo.
"Ah, She-Ra. Come it." Ichigo said. She quickly sat down in the empty chair. "You were the princess of Eternia."
"I was." She admitted.
"How old were you when you escaped your planet?" Ichigo asked.
"I was only sixteen years old when Skeletor, an evil lich, invaded our world." She-Ra began.
"Eternia's follow a similar age cycle as Earth, but they are about a month faster than Earth. Therefore, she is approximately seventeen years old in Earth time." Chishiki said.
"He invaded our world, for more power." She-Ra continued. "My father, King Randor, led our forces against him for three years. But then..." She-Ra paused for a second, trying to control herself. "But then my father was killed. Before he succumbed to his wound, he used a magic spell on his sword, sending it to me."
"That sword must have been important for him to use the last of his strength to send it away." Ichigo reasoned.
"Correct," She-Ra said. "The sword is known as the Eternal Power Sword. King Greyskull was the first king who united the entire world of Eternia. In his dying moments, he channeled his powerful might into his sword and added an enchantment to the sword. 'Only those of his blood and will shall be King of Eternia.'" She said.
"So, you became the next wielder of the sword," Ichigo said.
"Like as if there were any other choices." She sighed. "There was a letter attached to the Eternal Power Sword. My father issued his last order as King of Eternia. He ordered me to escape the planet and survive. My mother, Queen Marlena, took out her sword and handed it to me." She-Ra gripped the sword that was on her side.
"I presume that is your mother's sword?"
"It was," She-Ra said. "This is the Eternia Protector, sister sword to the Eternal Power Sword. Legends state that this sword was made by King Grayskull for his wife and queen." She said.
"Then what happened?" Ichigo asked.
"She placed a sleeping spell on me, preventing me from resisting before placing me in a rocket ship and sending me off into space."
"Did you return to Eternia?" Ichigo asked.
"I did and it turned to a lifeless wasteland." She said. "I decided to become a mercenary to hunt down Skeletor. As time progressed, I trained every day until I mastered the Eternia Protector. Eventually, I found a lead to Skeltor's location. He was invading a planet called Thunderian. I joined forces with the Thunderians to fight against Skeletor. Eventually, we won, and I killed him. Before we could celebrate our victory, Mongul came down and captured all of us."
"I see… What happened to the Eternal Power Sword?" Ichigo asked. She bent down to her boot and pulled out a thin dagger.
"While I can't use the Eternal Power Sword, I was able to miniaturize it into this hidden dagger." She said.
"I see…" Ichigo said. "Anyways, you have two choices." Ichigo raised one of his fingers in his left hand. "You can be free to roam the universe and do whatever you want."
"And the second option?" She asked.
"The second option is you leave this universe and follow me. I will assist with necessary needs before letting you roam the planet."
"Why are you doing this?" She-Ra asked. Ichigo shrugged his shoulders.
"Because I believed you deserve it," Ichigo replied. She-Ra looked at Ichigo for a few moments.
"I accept." She said.
"Great." Ichigo summoned a contract and placed it in front of her. She looked at the contract before signing it. "Do you have all your belongings?" Ichigo asked.
"I do." She replied.
"Great," Ichigo said as he activated Haōgan and sent her into Haō Zaimushō. "Next!" Ichigo shouted. The door opened as three gladiators entered the room. The door slammed shut behind them.
"Where is She-Ra?" The asker appears feminine with catlike facial features. She has cream and gold-colored fur, long red hair with a spiky front, blueish teal eyes, pointed ears, small, elongated fangs, and a striped face. She wore pale blue armor on her shoulders, torso, and hips, with dark blue pants, a large red belt, and silver shin guards that also covered and protected her knees. Ichigo could see her pawed feet were bare. She also had golden gauntlets that covered her hands and forearms.
"And you are?" Ichigo asked.
"I am Liona, princess of Thunderia, and leader of the Thundercats." She introduced. "This is Cheetara and Pumyra."
Cheetara appeared fit and lean with light skin. She has long blonde hair, speckled with characteristic cheetah spots. Her face has a pale orange upsweep around her pale red eyes, giving the impression of drastic eye makeup bordered by short, blonde eyebrows. She wore a two-piece costume comprised of three tones of brown, the upper half sporting a red jewel in the center. The lower section appears to be brown shorts with long, darker strips that seem to function as suspenders for her feet, leaving the claws exposed. She also has brown wrist-to-elbow guards that sport a disc around each wrist. These discs are also present around her ankles. In her arms was a long wooden staff.
Pumyra has amber eyes and brown hair with white highlights reaching her upper back. It is tied in a ponytail with strands framing both sides of her face. She is slenderer yet curvy and athletic. She wears a dark brown dress with golden manacles and a garter on her right thigh. Her necklace has a small black stone bound by a red chord and a bag on her hip stores the ammo for her wrist-mounted crossbow. Ichigo waved his hand as two more chairs appeared.
"Please sit." Ichigo invited.
"Not until you tell us where She-Ra is," Liona replied as she pulled out a dagger from her gauntlet. Ichigo sighed as he used Haōgan to recall She-Ra from Haō Zaimushō. She-Ra appeared in front of them.
"Do you need something from me, Master?" She asked.
"She-Ra!" Liona yelled as she grabbed, She-Ra. "Are you ok?" She asked.
"Liona, I'm fine," She-Ra replied.
"Why did you call him Master?" Liona quickly asked.
"Simple, because he is too strong for us," She-Ra admitted. "I've seen the glimpse of his true power. It is not something we fight against."
"You brainwashed her!" Liona yelled. The dagger in her hand glowed white, sparks began to fly.
"Enough," Ichigo said as he activated Haōgan's first ability. Suddenly all of them felt something unleashed from Ichigo. Liona and She-Ra fell to their knees. Cheetara and Pumyra collapsed on the ground. "If you wish to waste my time then go away." Liona's body began to glow white as she stood back up. The dagger has transformed into a sword. Her eyes appeared beast-like.
"DIE!" She yelled. She-Ra drew her sword and blocked Liona's attack. "She-Ra!?" Liona questioned.
"Please don't fight him. Listen to his words." She asked. Liona glared at She-Ra for a few moments.
"Fine." She replied as withdrew her sword and sat down. She placed her sword on her lap. Ichigo sent She-Ra back to Haō Zaimushō.
"Now that you are free from Mongul, what do you plan to do now?" Ichigo asked.
"I would like to return to Thunderia." She said.
"Do you know where Thunderia is?" Ichigo asked.
"Not really," Liona admitted. "We didn't travel far from our planet."
"I see…" Ichigo said as he began to search through Warworld's historical records, trying to find the location of Thunderia.
"That's it?" Liona asked. "You're not going to stop us and force us to follow you?"
"Why would I?" Ichigo replied. "I offer that opportunity to those who are worthy of it, and either have no home to return to or wish for an opportunity to start over," Ichigo replied. "You and your crew are worthy of this opportunity, regardless of your previous actions. However, your wishes to return to your planet, and I will not stop you." Ichigo said.
"I see…" Liona said. Cheetara and Pumyra finally woke up. They looked at Ichigo with fearful looks.
"Found it," Ichigo said as he activated Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai. Shirokishi appeared in his hand. He slashed downwards, opening a portal in front of them. "Follow me." He said.
"W-where are you going?" Liona asked.
"To Thunderia." Ichigo casually replied. They looked in the portal to see a green and blue planet.
"Thunderia!" They shouted. They entered the portal.
Scene Change: Thunderia
Ichigo, Liona, Cheetara, and Pumyra appeared floating above the planet in a transparent bubble.
"H-how are we up here?" Liona asked.
"I'm manipulating space right now, creating a pocket dimension around us. We would be able to see" Ichigo explained.
Ichigo glanced at the Thunderians. "Tell me where your home is." He said.
"We need to go down," Liona said. The sphere quickly descended. Liona began to provide instructions to Ichigo, who continued to navigate the sphere. After a few minutes, they arrived in Liona's hometown. They could see a large marble statue depicting Liona and her subordinates, charging into battle.
"What is this?" Liona said. They moved closer to the statue to read the plaque on the bottom of the statue.
"This monument is to commemorate Liona, Princess of Thunderia, and the Thunderian Army who valiantly sacrificed themselves to protect everyone from the invaders." Liona turned to Ichigo.
"Can you head toward the palace?" She asked, pointing at a large white building in the distance.
"Sure," Ichigo replied. The sphere quickly moved toward the building. They could see the building was patrolled by guards. Liona guided Ichigo to a throne room, where they could see a male Thunderian sitting on the throne. He resembled Liona but much bigger.
"So little Leo became king," Liona said as she recognized who sat on the throne.
"Not so little anymore," Cheetara added.
"I want to talk with him, to learn of all the changes they went through," Liona asked.
"Sure," Ichigo said. With a wave of his hand, the bubble expanded to include the King. The aforementioned king leaped out of his throne. His sword was drawn, ready to fight. His sword was a large black broadsword with a red gem in the center of the crossguard. The broadsword crossguard and handle resembled Liona's sword.
"Who are you!?" He yelled. His eyes noticed Liona, Cheetara, and Pumyra. "No… it can't be." Liona calmly walked toward the King.
"It is us, little Leo." She replied.
"Prove it." The king replied. Liona drew her dagger. Liona's body once again glowed white as the dagger transformed into its sword form. "It is you."
"That's right, little Leo," Cheetara replied. They could see the king pout.
"Don't call me that." He said. "I'm now King Leonidas." He replied. Liona chuckled.
"Indeed, you are." She replied as she put her sword away. "So King Leonidas, what happened after we were kidnapped?" Liona asked.
"Kidnapped?" He replied. Liona sighed as she gave him a quick summary of what happened to them after the battle with Skeletor.
"I see… When the explosion of energy disappeared, Mother mobilized the remaining troops to investigate the battleground. When they arrived, they reported that the enemy was dead, but your bodies were not found. We took all the fallen soldiers to burn. Eventually, they stumbled on Skeletor's dead body and sword. After discussing it with the priests we decided to use the ceremony to also purify the sword. In the process, the sword transformed into this." King Leonidas said.
"I see…" Liona said. "How long has it been?"
"It has been over 10 years since then." He answered.
"I see…" Liona mumbled.
"Liona," Ichigo interjected. Everyone turned to Ichigo.
"Who-" King Leonidas began but Cheetara stopped him.
"He is someone we mustn't annoy." She whispered. Ichigo ignored them as he continued to speak.
"Are you planning to stay here?"
"Of course, she is welcome to stay here." King Leonidas quickly replied. Liona looked at King Leonidas with a sad smile.
"Leo, if we were nobodies then I would love to stay here." She began. "Unfortunately, we aren't nobodies." She pointed at the currently empty throne. "If I returned then there would be questions about who would be the ruler of Thunderia."
"I see…" King Leonidas mumbled as he realized what Liona was saying. "If the people knew Liona was back then they would ask who should take the throne. Liona is technically the next in line for the throne but disappeared for over a decade. On the other hand, I would've been the second in line for the throne, but I took on the responsibility and led his people as they rebuilt."
"Exactly," Liona said. "For the good of the people, I can't return."
"I see…" King Leonidas turned to Liona, Cheetara, and Pumyra. "Thank you for your continuing to sacrifice yourself to the people." He said as he bowed to them.
"No need to bow," Liona replied. King Leonidas rose back up.
"Then this is goodbye." King Leonidas said.
"It is," Liona replied as they hugged. King Leonidas hugged both Cheetara and Pumyra. He finally looked at Ichigo. "Please take care of them." He said.
"I will try my best," Ichigo replied. He wrapped them in a spatial bubble and returned to the Warworld.
Scene Change: War World
They all appeared in Ichigo's makeshift office. Ichigo released the spatial bubble and sealed Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai. Liona, Cheetara, and Pumyra signed the contract and were sent to Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo stepped outside to see Blackfire standing proudly over the unconscious bodies of the Citadelians and the Gordanians. Ichigo snapped his fingers, causing the barrier to disappear.
"Bring them over here," Ichigo said. Blackfire grabbed the unconscious bodies and threw them toward Ichigo. They landed in front of Ichigo. Ichigo summoned a ball of hellfire and dropped it on them, incinerating them all and sending them into Hell. He turned to Blackfire. "Follow me." He instructed. She nodded her head and silently followed behind him, entering his office. They both sat down in the chairs. Ichigo placed the contract in front of her. "Any questions?"
"Is the probation period really necessary?" Blackfire asked.
"It is," Ichigo replied. "Even now, you don't regret betraying your people to the Citadelians and the Gordanians. You only turned on them when they betrayed you." Ichigo stared at Blackfire. "Even now, I question if you deserve the chance," Blackfire replied by signing the contract. "Don't waste the chance." Ichigo sent her to Haō Zaimushō. "Next!" Ichigo shouted. Glorith entered the room.
"Hello, Glorith." Ichigo summoned the contract and placed it in front of her. She quickly read the contract before signing it.
"Now that the boring part is over," Glorith seductively walked toward Ichigo. "We should spend some time together." Ichigo activated Haōgan's first ability. Suddenly an invisible pressure fell on Glorith, forcing her onto her knees in front of him.
"Glorith, you are not the first and will likely not be the last who tries to seduce me," Ichigo said.
"You think this is enough to stop me?" Glorith said as she started to stand up. Ichigo lowered his reiatsu, targeting Glorith. Suddenly an even heavier pressure fell on Glorith and the surrounding area. She fell flat on her face. He could see her struggling to resist his reiatsu. Ichigo finally released her from the pressure. He could see her no longer struggling. She turned her face to Ichigo. "W-what was that?" She asked.
"A small nibble of my true power," Ichigo replied before sending her into Haō Zaimushō.
"Next!" Ichigo shouted. The door opened and a little girl walked inside. She had light pale skin with red eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair adorned in a black headband. She wears clothing similar to that of a girl's school uniform, consisting of a black blazer with a gold emblem over a white-collar shirt, a purple tie, a purple skirt, knee-length white socks, and black Mary Jane shoes.
"Hello." She innocently said. Ichigo's eyes glowed red as he could instantly see the child's sins.
"Stop with the innocent act, I know who you truly are," Ichigo replied.
"Ah, Mister. You shouldn't ruin the surprise." She replied innocently.
"I can see you used your ability to become an assassin for hire," Ichigo said.
"I did." She admitted with a casual shoulder shrug. "I needed the money after I escaped from Durla."
"So, what is your name?" Ichigo asked.
"Ciji." She replied.
"So, Ciji, how did you end up here?" Ichigo asked.
"I was tasked with assassinating Mongul. Unfortunately, I failed to kill him, and he decided to add me as a gladiator." She explained.
"Can you transform back into your true form?" Ichigo asked as he adjusted the collar, allowing her to change forms. Ichigo could see her right hand elongated into claws.
"I've changed my form too many times to the point that I don't remember my true form." She admitted.
"Do you have a form that you feel most comfortable with?" Ichigo asked. Ciji thought about it before her body began to bubble and transform. Ciji now stood about 192 cm (6.23 feet) tall. She has large breasts and a slender yet curvaceous frame. She has long, straight black hair reaching her mid-back with short bangs framing her forehead and upturned dark red eyes. She splits her hair into two parts and crosses it over her head forming two thick locks of hair that reach below her chest. It is secured by a gold-colored headband with a rose and two spikes on each side. Ciji now wore a form-fitting halter-style black dress that showed off her shoulders and cleavage, with a rose choker and a red rose pattern on the inside of her skirt. The front of the skirt is mid-thigh length, while the back reaches below her knees. She also wears a pair of black thigh-high boots with a rose symbol at the bottom of their sole and black fingerless gloves (2).
"I feel much better," Ciji said as she took a few steps.
"So, Ciji, what are you planning to do now?" Ichigo asked.
"I guess I could go to your world," Ciji said.
"Sure, if you agree to this." Ichigo handed her a contract. Ciji grabbed the contract and quickly read it.
"So, no killing unless it is in self-defense," Ciji asked, pointing out one of the conditions in the contract.
"Correct," Ichigo said. "Based on your powers, you would easily be able to kill most of the weaker humans."
"I see… What would my purpose be then?" She asked.
"That is something you'll discover on your own," Ichigo said.
"Sure." She said as she signed the contract. Ichigo quickly sent her into Haō Zaimushō. The next one who entered was three women. Ichigo snapped his fingers as two other chairs appeared in front of him.
"Please sit," Ichigo said. They all sat down in the chairs. Ichigo turned to the first girl. "You're Tinya, right?"
"I am." She replied. "My alias name is Phantom Girl,"
"I'm Ayla Ranzz, from the planet Winath, and also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. My code name is Freefall, " She introduced. She's also a slender girl, but slightly taller than Tinya. She wore a form-fitted black sports bra with a white up arrow in the middle, a pair of black gloves with arrows pointing toward her fingers, and black skintight pants with white arrows from her feet pointing up toward her body.
"Best for last," The final girl joked. "I'm Eve Aries, from Saturn, and a member of the Legion of Super-Villains. My alias is Saturn Queen," She said. She has red hair and green eyes. She wore an armored blue overcoat, pants, and black boots with red buttons all over the coat. The overcoat has pronounced shoulder pads. She reminded Ichigo of a European admiral.
"I didn't know Saturn had a life there," Ichigo said.
"Not yet," Eve said. Tinya sighed.
"All three of us were from the thirty-first century." Tinya began. "Ayla and I were tasked with hunting her down." Tinya glanced at Eve.
"Suddenly a rip in space-time opened and sucked us inside, sending us from the thirty-first century to the twenty-first century," Eve said.
"As we tried to figure out what happened, we were captured by Mongul and forced to become his gladiators," Ayla said.
"So, if all you were free, what would you do?" Ichigo asked.
"Try to find a way to return to the thirty-first century," Eve answered. Tinya and Ayla nodded in agreement.
"That is probably a bad idea," Ichigo replied.
"Why?" Eve asked.
"Traveling backward in time is easier compared to traveling into the future," Ichigo said.
"Why?" Tinya asked.
"From an observer's point of view, time is traveling a linear path forward." They all nodded in agreement. "Every decision that is made can cause the path to split based on all the possibilities."
"So, you're saying that us traveling back in time caused this timeline to divert?" Eve guessed.
"Correct."
"Wouldn't traveling forward allow us to go back to the path we just left?" Ayla asked.
"Not exactly," Ichigo said. "Your presence here already deviated from this timeline by doing actions that wouldn't have happened before. If you try to forcibly travel forward in time, you might destroy this timeline." Ichigo warned as he remembered his experience with time travel.
"How would you know?" Eve questioned.
"I have traveled back in time before and had to travel forward in time the regular way," Ichigo replied.
"You're saying that we have to stay in this century?" Ayla asked.
"Yes," Ichigo said. Ayla turned to Eve.
"GOD DAM IT!" She yelled at Eve. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT."
"Ayla," Tinya said as she grabbed Ayla's arm, trying to calm her down.
"LET GO OF ME!" Ayla yelled as she pulled her arm away from Tinya.
"Enough," Ichigo said as he lowered his reiatsu once again. All three girls slammed into the ground from the force of his reiatsu. Ichigo let them feel the pressure of his reiatsu for a few moments before releasing it. All the girls took deep breaths. Tinya and Ayla looked at Ichigo with a scared look. Eve, on the other hand, looked at Ichigo with an interested look. "Based on your current situation, you only have a few options available. You could either explore the universe, join the Justice League on Earth, or decide to follow me to a new universe."
"What are the pros and cons of each option?" Tinya asked.
"With the first two options, you need to make sure no one knows that you came from the future. They may capture you and torture you for your knowledge." Ichigo warned.
"Make sense," Eve replied.
"If you pick the third option, you would be in an alternative Earth that doesn't have any connection with this Earth or its connecting universes."
"I don't know about you two but I'm picking option 3," Eve said.
"Why?" Tinya asked.
"Simple. Because there are too many established heroes here. I want to make a name for myself."
"I do want to warn you, my world does have people with superpowers and magic," Ichigo said.
"But are any of them similar to Superman?" She asked.
"Besides myself… no. Most of them are weaker than them," Ichigo said, purposely not mentioning their true power. Eve nodded her head.
"I've decided to go with option three." She said.
"Eve, are you sure?" Tinya asked. "Should we stay here? We could use our knowledge to help the world."
"I agree with Tinya," Ayla said. "We are heroes. It's our job to help others."
"That is true," Eve admitted. "But there is something you also need to consider."
"What?" Ayla asked.
"What will you do when you meet the Justice League? Will you tell them everything you remember about their future? Or will you be silent?" Eve pointed out.
"… You bring up an important point," Ayla admitted.
"Why don't we do both," Tinya suggested.
"Both?" Eve and Ayla questioned.
"We write down everything that we can remember and give it to them." Tinya glanced at Ichigo. "After that, we join him in his universe to live our life."
"Good suggestion but I do have a comment," Ichigo said. They all looked at Ichigo. "Most of the villains on Earth have been taken care of," Ichigo said.
"Then there is a big chance our knowledge is now useless," Tinya said.
"Correct," Ichigo replied. He summoned three contracts for them. They took the contract and read it. After that, they signed the contract. Ichigo sent them to Haō Zaimushō. The next group of gladiators was new prisoners that Mongul captured to bolster his numbers for an invasion of Earth. Ichigo had them sign a contract that prevented them from mentioning anything that happened to them, on Warworld or in Earth's solar system. In exchange for signing the contract, Ichigo gave them a small spaceship to take them home. Finally, the last gladiator entered Ichigo's room.
"Hello, Zannah of Khera," Ichigo said. She replied by grabbing her katanas.
"I've seen your impressive swordsmanship and wish to duel you." She said.
"Sure," Ichigo said as he stood up. Ichigo changed his size to match Zannah's height. He snapped his finger, causing the office to disappear. Kokugatsu appeared in his hand. Zannah drew both of her katanas. "3…2…1…Start." Zannah ran toward Ichigo and began to attack him with a barrage of slashes. Ichigo calmly blocked all her attacks with Kokugatsu.
"I didn't expect him to easily block all my attacks." Zannah thought. Ichigo counterattacked by swinging Kokugatsu from the side. She raised both her katana to block the attack. The force from the attack sent her flying a few feet back. She quickly caught recovered from Ichigo's attack.
"Is this all you go Zannah?" Ichigo asked.
"Stay calm, he is trying to disturb your focus." Zannah thought as she charged toward Ichigo. Ichigo stood there as she got closer. At the last second, Ichigo stabbed Kokugatsu forward, like a rapier. Zannah dodged the unusual attack, leaving her open for Ichigo. Ichigo suddenly moved forward and swung Kokugatsu at Zannah's chest. Her eyes widened as the blade slammed into her chest. She was once again sent crashing into the wall. Ichigo stood there as he waited for Zannah. She slowly stood up. He could see she was tired but overall was fine. Ichigo could see her armor beginning to repair itself.
"Enchanted armor?" Ichigo asked.
"More like cursed repurposed armor," Zannah replied. A few moments later, the armor was fully fixed.
"Do you wish to continue?" Ichigo asked.
"You haven't even tried in this match, have you?" She asked.
"No," Ichigo replied.
"I see…" Zannah said as she nodded her head. "I still have a long way to go." She sheathed her katanas. Ichigo sent Kokugatsu back to his mindscape.
"So what will you do?" Ichigo asked.
"Is there are strong opponents in your world?" She asked.
"There are," Ichigo said.
"Then I wish to join you." Ichigo presented her with the contract. She quickly glanced at it before signing it. Ichigo sent the final gladiator into Haō Zaimushō.
"Ichigo," Chishiki appeared before Ichigo.
"Yes Chishiki?" Ichigo asked.
"I have discovered a locked treasury. I am not able to investigate what is inside the room." She said.
"Why?" Ichigo asked.
"The treasury is programmed to only open to whoever possesses the headset." She explained.
"I see…Lead the way." Ichigo said. They both walked down a set of stairs before arriving at a large door.
"Open." Ichigo thought. The treasury doors opened for them. They walked inside and could see all kinds of alien artifacts and equipment placed on a pedestal and surrounded by an energy barrier.
"Interesting,"Chishiki said as she immediately a pedestal. Ichigo followed behind her. They arrived to see a rectangular handheld device. The outside surface of the device was black, the inner border was red, and a yellow interface was on a black board. "I didn't expect Mongul to have a Motherbox."
"That's technology from New Genesis, right?" Ichigo asked.
"Correct. This should help us invade Apokolips." Chishiki commented. Side them was another rectangular handheld device. The outside surface of the device was also black, the inner border was red, and a yellow interface on a dark blue board.
The casing is also black but has a blue and red interface.
"This is a Fatherbox, right?" Ichigo guessed. Chishiki looked at it.
"Correct," Chishiki said. They continued to explore the treasury. They spotted a white scarab with black and red tribal markings on it.
"What is this?" Ichigo asked.
"I'm not sure," Chishiki replied.
"War world, identify this object." Ichigo thought. The headset glowed as information about the object flowed into his mind.
"This is a scarab from the Reach," Ichigo said. Chishiki faced Ichigo as he continued to relay the information. "The Reach are intergalactic insectoid invaders who can transform other species into an insectoid hybrid. The Reach was forced to sign a treaty that only allowed the Reach to enter new worlds if the leader of that world invited them in. So they used Mongul to invade other planets and force the leaders to accept the Reach's help. The Reach gave Mongul this scarab as payment for their help. He placed the scarab in here since."
"Are there any reasons why Mongul didn't use it?" Chishiki asked.
"No, thou the Reach stopped asking for Mongul's help after he told them that he hadn't used their gift yet," Ichigo said.
"I believe that the scarab acts as a way for the Reach to control people." Chishiki proposed. Ichigo nodded his head.
"That would make sense. If they indeed gave one to Mongul, they would want to control him with it. They expected Mongul to be under the control of the scarab once they saw him again."
"But nothing happened," Chishiki replied.
"Correct. The Reach can assume that their attempt failed and it's better to not mess with Mongul anymore." They resumed exploring the treasury. They soon arrived at a larger device. The device was primarily blue with a tube that connected to a scanner. There are silver handles on each side of the device.
"I think this is a Phantom Zone Projector," Chishiki said. "It matches some of the pictures we have."
"In that case, why hasn't he used it? I know that there are a lot of potential fighters for him to draw from." The headset glowed as Warworld answered his question. Ichigo could see Mongul used the Phantom Zone Projector to open a portal into the Phantom Zone. Someone came out of the portal. He was a muscular middle-aged man, with dark skin, a full goatee, brown eyes, and dark hair with gray temples. He wears a form-fitting uniform of black and gray, with a red Z sigil on his chest. The stranger looked at Mongul. His eyes widen as he notices the Phantom Zone Projector. He lunged toward Mongul. His eyes glowed with rage. Mongol punched him in the face and pushed him back. The man quickly recovered and charged at Mongol. Multiple collars flew toward the man, trying to restrain him. The man was able to break the collars. Mongul activated the Phantom Zone Projector again and sent the man back. Mongol hasn't activated the Phantom Zone Projector since. "I see…" Ichigo said.
"What did you see?" Chishiki asked. Ichigo told her what he saw. "I believed Dru-Zod was the one Mongul momentarily freed." Chishiki guessed. With a thought, the protective barrier around the Phantom Zone Projector disappeared. Ichigo took a look at the Phantom Zone Projector.
"Seems like the Phantom Zone Projector is out of power," Ichigo said as he tried to activate it.
"Hm… I wonder. Can you free the Motherbox?" Chishiki asked.
"Sure," Ichigo replied as the barrier surrounding the Motherbox disappeared. Chishiki walked over to the Motherbox and picked it up. The Motherbox glowed white. Ichigo glowed the same white for a moment. If there were anyone around them, they would've heard the Motherbox let out a simple ping sound. But to Ichigo, it was something else entirely.
"Thank you for freeing me from that cage." The Motherbox said.
"No problem," Chishiki replied. "Do you have a name?"
"I don't. Everyone just calls me Motherbox." She replied (3).
"Motherbox, do you think you can recharge this?" Ichigo asked pointing at the Phantom Zone Projector.
"I'm not sure. Let me scan it." Motherbox replied. Chishiki handed Motherbox to Ichigo and he pointed her at the Phantom Zone Projector. A beam of yellow light shot out of the Motherbox and scanned the Phantom Zone Projector. "I can recharge the Phantom Zone Projector, but I would recommend upgrading it instead."
"How?" Ichigo asked.
"I can assimilate the Phantom Zone Projector into myself, allowing me to open a wormhole into the Phantom Zone." She replied.
"So, you would be able to open a portal directly into and out of the Phantom Zone," Ichigo asked.
"Correct," Motherbox replied.
"Is there a limit to your mechanical assimilation?" Ichigo asked.
"Not that I know of," Motherbox replied.
"Would you be able to absorb assimilate a Fatherbox?" Ichigo asked.
"Hm… I'm not sure. A Fatherbox would no doubt try to resist the attempt." Motherbox replied.
"If we empower you, would you be able to overcome him?" Ichigo asked.
"Possible," Motherbox replied. Ichigo held Motherbox in his hand as he allowed his raw reiatsu flow into the Motherbox. Ichigo could see the interface on the Motherbox glowed. "I HAVE THE POWER!"
"Do you think you could do it now?" Ichigo asked.
"Much more likely," Motherbox replied. "Before we do this, we need to prevent the Fatherbox from opening a boom tube to escape or calling Father."
"You mean, Metron?" Chishiki asked.
"Correct," Motherbox replied. Ichigo activated Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai again. He distorted the space around them, making it harder to find them. Chishiki summoned her nanomachines and had them from a metal dome around them.
"This should intercept any signals from the Fatherbox," Chishiki replied.
"Are you ready?" Ichigo asked.
"I am." She replied. Ichigo ordered the Warworld to release the barrier around the Fatherbox. Motherbox quickly fired a beam of yellow energy at Fatherbox. The Fatherbox was surrounded by Motherbox's energy. The Fatherbox glowed red as it tried to resist Motherbox's power. Ichigo could sense Motherbox absorbed more of his energy. The Fatherbox let out fast pings. The Motherbox flew out of his hand and collided with the Fatherbox, unleashing a bright light. The light died down to reveal one rectangular device. The size was similar to the Motherbox and Fatherbox. The left side of the outside surface of the device was white while the right side of the device was black. the inner border was red and had a golden interface.
"Motherbox?" Ichigo asked.
"I have completed assimilating the Fatherbox and fused it with myself. I have evolved into something beyond my former self." She said.
"Are you fine if I give you a name?" Ichigo asked.
"That is fine." She replied.
"In that case, I will call you Yin-Yang," Ichigo suggested.
"What is yin-yang?" She asked.
"Yin and yang is a philosophical concept that describes opposite but interconnected forces," Ichigo explained. The device stayed silent for a moment, thinking about the name.
"That is fine." The newly named Yin-Yang accepted. Chishiki's nanomachines separated themselves and returned to Chishiki. Ichigo also sealed Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai.
"Good. I have a few things I want you to absorb." Ichigo said as he picked up Yin-Yang. He pointed her at the Phantom Zone Projector. Yin-Yang absorbed the Phantom Zone Projector.
"I have completely merged with the Phantom Zone Projector. I can open a boom tube in and out of the Phantom Zone." Yin-Yang reported.
"So where are we going?" Chishiki asked.
"We will deal with the Phantom Zone first." Ichigo decided.
"Ichigo, the Phantom Zone is a unique dimension that exists outside time and space. All abilities require willpower to do anything." She warned.
"I see…" Ichigo summoned the Jigoku no Yoroi and returned to his regular height. Surprisingly, Yin-Yang grew to match Ichigo's height.
"Yin-Yang, open a boom tube into the Phantom Zone."
"Yes Ichigo," Yin-Yang replied. Ichigo and Chishiki heard a loud boom as a black and white spiraling portal opened in front of them. They walked into the boom tube.
