TheMaleficent was the daughter of a well known sorceress and a herbalist. Her mother worked in the court of the north empire. She served under the emperor himself. For many years the emperor fell madly in love with her and demanded Maleficent's mother's hand. But the emperor was a selfish man. So when her mother heard his offer she refused him.
"I am sorry sire but I could never love a man who only loves himself", her mother said as she left.
THE emperor could not believe that someone had refused but it only got worse when he found out that she was already with another man. The emperor overcame with jealousy he ordered Maleficent's father to be killed and her mother. But when he found out that she was pregnant he decided to throw her prison instead. After nine months she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl but her mother did not survive the ordeal. Since the emperor had no love for the baby who did not even have a name he sent the child to an orphanage.
THE nameless baby lived in the orphanage for years until the orphanage came under attack by enemy soldiers during a war.
While the orphanage burned the nuns gave the nameless baby to a small orphan boy named Corvo. The nuns told Corvo to take the baby and run away. He ran all the way to the moors where they met the sacred elder tree.
The tree allowed the children to stay as the tree then endowed the nameless baby with the power of the phoneix. The tree then named the child Maleficent. The tree died shortly thereafter and said that Maleficent would be the new guardian of the moors.
As time moved on Maleficent grew into a beautiful woman she had no memory of parents or who she was. Corvo took care of her and over time he fell madly in love with her. All Corvo had of his early memories was a ring that his mother gave him years ago. She told him that the ring was meant for the woman who would be his wife. Corvo believed that woman was Maleficent herself but by that time Maleficent was in love with Stefan. After Corvo saw their kiss from afar he decided that it was time to leave. The last thing he said to Maleficent was he warned her that Stefan might not be who he says he is. But after Corvo left the moors Maleficent lost her wings to Stefan's lust for power.
She then cursed his daughter Aurora to a sleep like death. The only way to break the curse was with a true love's kiss. But in the end Maleficent grew fond of the child. But Maleficent caused her father to drive himself into darkness. So after Maleficent found a way to undo her curse her father then tried to kill Maleficent. But he failed as Maleficent killed Stefan instead. But a few years later Maleficent cursed a queen from another kingdom. In the end the empire from the north had heard the terror stories of Maleficent. The emperor then declared Maleficent an outlaw and a menace. He also posted a bounty on her head dead or alive for ten thousand pounds.
THE emperor sent his mighty and battle mages to the moors. Corvo heard the rumors and saw the wanted posters all over the lands of man. Corvo then knew he had to save the woman he loved.
Corvo fled back to the moors where he saw it engulfed in flames!
"Oh no Maleficent", Corvo said as he ran into the moors in search of Maleficent.
Maleficent tried to save the moors but the battle mages severely injured her! Corvo killed the battle mages with his sword and carried Maleficent out of the moors.
Corvo took her to the elven kingdoms. The elves healed Maleficent and agreed to shelter them from the empire. Corvo thanked them up and down.
"Thank you my friend", Corvo said to the king.
"Anything for the man who saved my son", King Derek replied.
A few months later Maleficent walked along the kingdom and the people treated her like a person for the first time.
Later that same night Maleficent saw Corvo picking red roses for Maleficent as he always told her that it was her lips who shamed the red rose.
As they both watched the sunset together that was when Corvo proposed to Maleficent.
"Corvo that's your mother's ring the one for your wife. Oh Corvo yes yes I will", Maleficent cried as Corvo put the ring on her elegant finger.
"I always loved Maleficent and I always will", Corvo said as he kissed his future bride.
