Making their way home through the state of Wyoming to get to Montana and from there, finally get back into the sanctity of Canada and hopefully without any more distractions or stupid movie references from the author that would drag the story to an annoying crawl, the pack stopped when Kate collapsed on the ground and was on the verge of passing out due to blood loss.

" Don't worry, Kate. we'll get you home in a jiffy! " Winston assured his daughter while he held her in his arms while Eve tended to her neck wounds. " How's she looking, dear? "

" I'm applying pressure to the wound to hopefully stop the bleeding." She said. " Please hang in there, Kate! "

" I'll..*wheeze * try Mom..." Kate said weakly between gasping for air. " It hurts! "

" Oh Kate..." Lilly said as she assisted Winston. " Stay strong for us, okay? "

Humphrey licked Kate's muzzle as tears ran down his cheeks. " I'm sorry Kate...I shouldn't have distracted you in the fight, it's all my fault! "

" Hump...*wheeze * hrey, don't beat yourself up, I'll be okay..." Kate said while gasping for air again. " Owww...I'm a strong Alpha...* coughs * "

" Conserve your strength, Baby.." Humphrey told her as he continued licking her in comfort. " I'm here for you, we're all here for you. "

" Thanks...guys" Kate thanked through the pain.

" Humphrey, I'm going to need you to help Winston keep applying pressure to Kate's wounds. I need to look for some herbs. " Eve calmly ordered to her son in law to do as she headed into the woods, keeping a level head despite the pain of seeing her daughter hurting like this, something a parent knows all too well. " Hang in there, Honey. ' She told Kate as she left in search for her medical herbs as tears started streaming down her cheeks despite her best efforts to stay strong in this dire situation after searching around riverbends and bushes, Eve gathered only a fraction of what she needed before making her way back to her pack, her daughter still laying there in pain as she shifted around to face her mother who was quickly mixing her herbs in a bowl.

" Hey Mom..." Kate greeted in pain. " I'm in so much pain..."

" Don't worry honey, Mommy's here and you'll be alright. " Eve said as she gifted her concoction to her daughter's mouth as it poured down her throat and Winston held her up so it could go down easier. " Easy there honey, drink it slowly and steady. "

Kate resisted the urge to spit out the concoction as she worked through her gag reflex and finally swallowed the entire medicine down her throat and her entire body shuddered as it traveled through as she started to feel drowsy and fell asleep a few moments later in Winston's arms.

" Get some rest, my baby girl. " He said as he and Eve, Lilly, Humphrey and Garth each licked her affectionately before gently and carefully picking her up and carrying her on his back as the entire pack continued on their way back into Canada and on the long trek back through Alberta and into Jasper National Park, as the East and Western packs have said their goodbyes and turned in for the night, tired from this entire ordeal as Eve and Winston placed their daughter on comfy bed that Humphrey, Lilly and Garth hastily made to help.

" Thanks for helping me, Guys...I'm going to rest now. " Kate said wearily and thankfully as she drifted off to sleep as Humphrey and her parents rested beside her to keep her company and warm for the cold winter night...which was ruined by a narcissistic nimrod wearing a Kate t-shirt as he rambled incoherently hundreds of lawful word salads that proclaimed his love for her and his voring fetish of Humphrey as the mentioned wolf stared at him with discomfort on his face as he slowly backed away from this deranged diabetic home schooled lunatic as Eve and Winston looked at each other as they both felt the need to protect their daughter from this creep as he started to try to wolfnap her when the five wolves mauled him to death in response as Kate smiled in relief as they and the rest of the pack then ate well that night.
