3rd Person (P.O.V)
Well Glenn and Amy were kissing in the kitchen, Lily was disillusioned and footsteps silently as she walked into the computer room they were taking to when they arrived. She didn't know much about technology and hope the Dr. Jenner made paper copies of the information.
Majority of the desk were emptied, but a few held many stacks of paper. She walked over to the closest desk putting a notice me not charm on the papers as she started going through the them. For the next few hours, that's how Lily's night had gone the information she had gotten through wasn't good. She made a copy of every single paper putting it into her bag.
Lily sighed rubbing her eyes tiredly, knowing she needed a little bit of rest she spent the next hour before bed rounding up any supplies she could get her hands on. She laid in bed her children close to her, before getting into bed she had went into her trunk apartment to check on Ambrose who seemed to be opening up to her just a little bit.
She closed her eyes slowly drifting off to sleep, hoping to finally be able to settle down somewhere and to help those she could especially children as without them they wouldn't be a future.
Luna knock on the room her sister had claimed for the night needing to update her on what she had seen. She knew Lily wanted to split from the other group they had potential with the right instructions to survive, if given the chance.
Lily was still a bit drowsy when she opened the door to see Luna the serious expression on her face, which immediately snapped wide awake.
"What's going on Luna?". Lily said as she moved to the side letting her sister inside before closing the door behind them.
"We shouldn't split up from the other group". Luna said quietly as she could never unsee the death and destructions her vision showed her. They were forever imprinted into her memories.
"What did you see?". Lily said standing straight.
"No matter what path we take with our magic we're able to thrive, but if we go our separate ways the other group will die, They will meet people along the way that we need to save as many of them a good. We can easily take on the people we come across as most of them will be Muggle. Also Lori Grimes is pregnant and years in the future both her children Carl and daughter will die". Luna said sadly as sometimes to her, her gift was a curse especially during the apocalypse.
"Merlin saggy ball sack". Lily swore under her breath as children were her weak spot, they were the future and needed to be protected. That's why if she finds any down the line she would take them under her wing.
Lily might not show it much, but she cared for Carl Grimes as the little boy would come to her when his mother would disappear. The few time Lori saw him attached to her. She forbid him from being near her so he would come by when she wasn't around.
"I think we should tell a few others about our magic". Luna said as Lily looked at her incredulously.
"Who is on that list?". Lily asked as she didn't know how to feel about it.
"Well, I think we should try saving Jacqui as she will choose to stay with Dr. Jenner when the CDC blows up in a few hours. It will be her choice but we could easily have her safely in your apartment as she isn't a fighter and train her safely and not have to worry about her while we're on the outside. Glenn will join as he will want to be with Amy. With Jacqui maybe we should have Dale go with her as he's older and isn't in the type of shape for this world unless he's being protected". Luna said as Lily sighed as she knew they were good people, and she had to let go of her fear of telling Muggles about magic as she wasn't that scared little girl anymore.
"Alright Luna do I need to know anything else?". Lily asked rubbing her temple at the oncoming headache.
"You should give our group those protection bracelets. I saw that Sophia will be chased by walkers sometime today. Rick tries to save her by distracting the walkers but she loses her way. You should have the bracelets either transport them to your apartment or the RV for safety. Also, read isn't in the right mindset to lead as he recently woke up from a coma and Shane psych is cracked and will try to kill Rick in the future. Also T-Dog will die in the future following Rick". Luna explains as Lily sighed knowing she will continue to follow the group.
"Alright Luna, can you go get everyone that we currently have in our group to inform them on our plans for now. Once that's done I will talk to Jacqui, Glenn, T-Dog and Dale. For right now, Rick Shane and Lori aren't to find out about magic and I will talk to Carl as I know he will want to remain with Sophia". Lily said trying to run plans through her head.
Despite being only 6:30 in the morning, thanks to her Tempest charm Lily knew the time and date. Her room was yet again filled with her group who were up early as it had become a habit during their time at the quarry.
"What's going on Lily?". Amy asked she was still a bit tired, but her body had become accustomed to getting up early despite not getting any sleep.
"I'm sorry if I had alone in a week anyone up but I wanted to let everyone know that there has been some changes in our plans from the one we discussed last night". Lily explained as she was able to speak freely as she had dobby take all the children besides Sophia into the apartment.
"What changed?". Carol asked as she set up straight.
"I'm going to have Luna explain as we are no longer separating from the other group". Lily said as she noticed as Amy shoulders sagged in relief. She couldn't help the smirk that played on her face.
Luna went on to explain majority of what she had seen. Which amazes everyone to have someone that can see the future, even though they were worn to not rely on her ability all the time. Carol held her daughter with relief at knowing Sophia will be safe and she would make sure she didn't wander off.
Carol didn't have words at how grateful she was that her daughter truly had a future even in their messed up world. She felt even more gratitude when Lily gave them wristbands that helped her family crest on it as she would be under their protection. If they ever got lost or were in danger they could easily be magically transported to her apartment, which was located within a trunk.
"The wristbands are imputed with my magic and will let me know when anyone is in my apartment. If a walker is within distance and your unaware it will magically transport you. Be worn it will make you a bit sick during the ride. Also if your lose or in danger all you would have to do is press the crest which will also take you to my apartment". Lily said as she decided to show them around her apartment.
Everyone was wide eyes with gratefulness at having met Lily as they know she told them not to always count on her magic, but she was the deciding factor for their survival as without magic. They were one day, no longer exist as they will always be on the run and will one day run out of food as they won't be able to stay in one place too long.
Luna also told them how the CDC would no longer exist in a matter of hours and how unfortunately everyone was infected and would one day become a walker if not put down immediately after Sophia had been sent outside to look after the other children.
It was an hour later after breakfast, when a very confused Glenn, T dog, Jacqui and Dale were asked to come into Lily's room with Carol, Amy, Merle, Daryl, and George at her side as Luna had decided to stay with the children
"Alright I know you must be confused and wondering why Rick,Lori or Shane aren't here and why I invited you here to talk". Lily said as the supposedly other group slowly nodded as she noticed Amy and Glenn looking at each other. "Let me ask a question first. If it meant your survival and safety in this new world would you believe in magic?". Lily asked getting a confused expression for 2 out of the 4 people, she noticed Dale and Glenn looked interested.
"Your from the magical world aren't you?". Dale asked as he had been born into an American magical family, but when he didn't show signs of magic, he was sent to the mundane world and barely kept up with anything that was happening in that world.
"Magic isn't real". Jacqui said moving closer to T-Dog a little afraid as she had a gut feeling it was. Her group was currently trying to survive zombies that was supposed to be fantasy
"Magic is 100% real for 1000 years it hidden society has hit under your noses. My people were afraid of persecution as long ago they were hunted and burned at the stake. Our society is supposed to remain a secret, but just as your world fell to the walkers, so did mine and secrecy is something of the past". Lily explained as she and George both took out their wands sparks flying from the end of the tip.
"How would magic help us survive if your world fell as well?? Why aren't the others here??". Jacqui asked cautiously, wondering if it was even possible to be safe.
"I'll be honest I want to help as many good people survive as I can, but I can't put my family in danger and I won't be taking advantage of our magic. Myself and my siblings can easily thrive on our own and not be found. My original plan was to leave with my group, but with Rick and Shane not being mentally stable for leadership no one is going to survive under them. My sister Luna is able to see the future unfortunately no matter what she would have tried to do. The world was unfortunately meant to end but we are able to help those we can to survive". Lily explained as the four relieved but also incredulous mainly T-Dog and Jacqui.
"Was it because of the witch trials and not knowing how people would react that you didn't tell us back at the quarry?". T-Dog asked curiously.
"Yes and because I don't have good experience when people learn about magic people fear what they don't understand. I also refuse to let Marco be used. If I'm going to offer help it's going to be on my terms. It's going to be a while before we can settle down properly but I do have a small safe Haven that I'm able to take anywhere". Lily said as she expanded her trunk, opening it to the compartment that held her apartment.
The small group of four watch with wide eyes as George was the first one to enter the trunk followed by Carol, Merle, Daryl and finally Amy who had dragged Glenn by the hand.
T-Dog was the first to approach the trunk and saw a pair of staircases. He was a bit hesitant before he climbed in and slowly went down and was followed by Jacqui and Lily who helped Dale.
"For now Dale and Jacqui you are welcome to stay in my apartment. Since Dale will get older in the future and won't be able to move around it's the safest option. As for you Jacqui I will train you to protect yourself in case you need to go to the outside world. Glenn, you and T dog are welcome to travel with me in my RV that is bigger than it looks it's safe". Lily said as she led the group out of the apartment or more of a manner from the outside that led to several greenhouses and acres of land, animals could be heard in the distance.
"I wouldn't get hurt in here if your casting on the move will I?". Jacqui asked she felt a bit of hope blooming in her chest.
"No you'll be totally fine in here even if I'm on the move or running nothing will affect this dimension". Lily said relaxing slightly as for new members of her group looks slightly relaxed.
"How will you explain mine and Jacqui disappearance to Rick and Shane?". Dale asked who looks slightly relieved as he knew in the future he would be a hindrance to the group and doubted he would survive.
"Unfortunately, that's easy since the CDC will no longer exist in a couple of hours. It will easily be explained as you stay behind until it is decided to bring them into the fold. As I said before Rick and Shane are mentally unstable with Rick only recently awakening from a coma. I'm not sure about Shane but all I know is he slowly cracking from Rick's return as Lori no longer wants anything to do with him with her pregnancy soon to be discovered it will send him into downward spiral". Lily explained as the four looked in shock before Amy pulled Glenn away.
"How did you know about magic?". Amy asked curiously as Glenn looked a bit shell shocked before he snapped out of it.
"My mother was magical and she married my father who wasn't. They had me and my sister, I was non-magical and my younger sister was magical, but the three of them died a few years ago in a car accident". Glenn said taking out a small trunk from his pocket. It had been his mother's one compartment trunk that he was able to unshrink with just a touch.
He used his trunk during his supply run, getting anything he could get. It also held some of his parents and sister's things. Glenn never thought he would run into magical during the end of the world as they always have been a small population and tend to keep to themselves.
"If you had kids would they have magic?". Amy asked curiously.
"Maybe I'm not sure or it could be a future descendent if I ever have one". Glenn said shrugging his shoulders as in their new world the future was unknown. "How did you find out about magic?". Glenn asked changing the subject as him not being magical was always a bit of a sore subject as he didn't feel close to his mom growing up.
Amy smiled lightly as she began to explain what had happened back at the quarry, and how a house elf popped in turning her world upside down.
It was a few hours later the CDC has blown up. Everyone besides the Grimes and Shane were in the RV or apartment. Lily had also spoken to Carl giving him a bracelet for protection.
She made sure to tell him to keep it a secret, which he was happy to do as she had also given him a Swiss Army knife for protection but made sure to tell him to keep it hidden from his mom. Lily was a bit apprehensive of having more people rely on her, but Luna assured her everything would work out. As she had herself and George at her side, as well as a mysterious smile informing her that help would be on its way soon.
