TBBT in the future, Professor Sheldon Cooper meets someone from the past….

Two weeks later Sheldon joined Amy and her colleagues for a meeting to discuss the study of Sheldon's brain and his eidetic memory.

"So to conclude Professor Cooper you have the highest score recorded, compared to what we can find in the literature, on these eidetic memory tests. You are the world memory champion."

As Mr. Spock would say "Fascinating."

"Who is Mr. Spock. This should make an interesting chapter in Hannah's thesis. We certainly intend to publish this, we will not be able to reveal your name as the test subject for medical ethics reasons. However, we have no problems in putting your name on the author list.

"Thank you Professor, are you going to continue this study on more people with brains like mine?"

Hannah then spoke "Well Professor Cooper, you took the words out of my mouth. Professor Fowler wants me to repeat the study on more people like you. The same questions and the same brain scans. We will do the same study on a control group of people without strong eidetic memories."

"So more people like me and some muggles."

Then Amy spoke "Muggles? Anyway thank you Professor Cooper. You have been a great help."

"Glad to have helped, now if you will excuse me I am having lunch with The Dean. Leonard has a tiny gap on his schedule starting in 10 minutes."

"May I join you Sheldon, I am sure that The Dean would be interested to hear about this work….."

10 minutes later in the canteen

"Hello Sheldon, is that Professor Fowler with you?"

"Yes it is Leonard, she has some interesting scientific news to tell you. Tell him Amy."

For the next 20 minutes Amy, with some interruptions from Sheldon, told the story of the study of Sheldon's brain and memory as they ate their lunch."

At the end Leonard said "Well done Professors, good to know that we are still doing good Science here at Caltech."

Amy said "Thank you Professor."

"I will need to leave in a couple of minutes. Sheldon, I just heard from Raj. He is coming down from Berkeley with Amanda on Sunday in time for Penny's birthday party. He has a meeting at UCLA on Monday. Thank you again."

Leonard got up and left ready for his next meeting.

Then Sheldon spoke "Penny is Leonard's wife. Raj is Professor Rajesh Koothrappali, he used to work at Caltech but he has been at Berkeley in the astrophysics department for the last 10 years. He blackmailed me with a dirty sock 20 years ago. Amanda is Raj's wife, she is a biomedical researcher, you would like her. Would you like to come with me to the birthday party?"
