The kisses on my collarbone were delicious. I moaned and turned to kiss Dorothy. "Time to wake up, sleepy head," Dorothy said sweetly.
I smiled. "What time is it?" I asked.
"Six." She answered and slid out of bed, she was clothed. I looked down at myself and found that I was half undressed. "You fell asleep while we were making out last night."
I sighed. "What the hell?
"Is that lesbian bed death rearing its ugly head again?" Dorothy asked curiously.
"What?" I asked shocked. "NO way, I want you, we can go right now." I pulled her to me and began to kiss her neck.
"Nope, we have to meet the others for a hike," Dorothy said and stepped off my lap.
"Noooo!" I said as she pulled me up by the hand.
"Go get ready," she said and slapped my tush as she pushed me into the bathroom.
I quickly showered and dressed, and soon we were out in the lobby. "Oh my god, why am I out of bed right now, why did you wake me up?"
I asked Dottie as we walked hand in hand through the Lobby.
"Because, Grandma, I signed us up for the all-day adventure tour," Dorothy said excitedly. "Hiking through the rainforest, kayaking down the river, swimming under a waterfall."
I looked at her with a smirk, "Swimming or skinny dipping?"
"I vote swimming," Emma spoke as we passed her. She was standing next to the kids and Ruby with a coffee in her hand, looking not too happy to be this awake either. "We don't need the twins coming out to play today."
"I don't mind getting to see the twins," Ruby piped up.
"Right, they are coming too…" I mutter, "This is going to be fun."
It was fun; we started with a good hike. "Is this where the blue avatar people live?" Henry said looking around.
"So pretty, mommy?" Hope stated from her mother's arms.
I reached for the little girl as we reached a sheer wall. There was no way. I saw a trail that went around the wall, and I watched as Dorothy began to climb at the wall. "I'll just walk around, I have Katy," I said, and I watched as Emma shrugged and pulled off her flannel to tie it around her waist. My jaw dropped as her biceps appeared. Ruby and I gawked as the two younger women climbed the wall with the boy.
"Damn," Ruby said looking at them.
"Where did Emma get those arms?" I mumbled. And descended with the toddler.
The six of us crossed a rope bridge, Emma's strides as sure as Dorothy. I was shocked because for someone that only took the stairs, her energy was phenomenal.
Dorothy walked with me as we climbed a steep hill. She took my hand, and I just couldn't talk… I was just trying to breathe and keep up with her. "Isn't this awesome?" she said leaning in close.
I nodded, "Yeah, uh-huh…" I took a deep breath, hoping to get enough oxygen to get my sentence out. "You know, maybe I should hang back behind the kids to make sure everyone is safe."
Dorothy smiled and nodded. "That's a great idea," and kept looking up ahead. I stopped and waited for Ruby and Henry to go ahead of me. And as soon as Dorothy was out of earshot, I bent forward and let all of my protein bars out of my body. As I wretched, I heard a snicker, "Mama Gee, that's nasty," Hope said as Emma handed me a bottle of water and some gum.
I took them. "Thanks."
"Don't hurt yourself, Grandma," Emma stated and kept moving forward.
Soon we got to a lazy river, with some canoes. We paired off. Emma, Ruby, and Hope in one, Dorothy, Henry, and I in the other. As we all put on our life vests, Emma came up to me. "Regina, just tell her you need a break, she'll understand."
"Yes, she'd understand I'm too old for her." I muttered.
Henry looked at me thoughtfully then back at the fastener for his life vest. "If she was worth dying for, she wouldn't want you killing yourself over her."
Emma smiled lovingly at her son and ruffled his hair. He was right. I scoffed. "Thanks for the advice, Grandpa," I answered. "Listen, she only has to see me have fun with you guys, and if I don't die, there is gonna be a little extra for you."
Henry's eyebrow shot up. "Deal."
Emma sighed and shook her head as she walked to her boat.
As we paddled along, Henry smirked and turned his head to look at me behind him. "Hey Mama Gee?" He said. When I looked at him questioningly, I saw his intention to splash me with his oar. But before I could say a word, Splash.
I gasped, and his laughter rang through me. My heart squeezed in my chest. That sound… "How dare you…" I ask and do the same with my paddle.
Dorothy laughed so hard as the ensuing splash battle had us all laughing and soaked. Until Emma put a stop to everything.
"Oh my god, I think we need to dry out!" Emma said steering the boat toward shore.
"Yeah, I could use a swim." Dorothy stated. We came upon a glen with a waterfall at the far end. After such a workout, the cool water looked delicious. I looked at the other women. Ruby was staring at Dorothy. I followed her line of vision and noticed Dotty's bathing suit allowed the top of her ass to be seen. I glared at my friend, and she pretended to be distracted.
"This is paradise," Dorothy says looking around as she steps out of the canoe.
"It really is," Emma stated looking around in awe. "It doesn't seem real." A tear came to her eye, and she blinked it quickly away.
"Are you okay?" Dorothy asked concerned.
'Yeah, I just never got to see amazing things like these the last time I was here." She said absently.
"You've been to Maui before?" Dorothy asked glancing at me.
"Yeah on my honeymoon." She answered. Not even thinking about who it was that she was supposed to be talking about. "It was just that he… Sheeee was really preoccupied with work, taking calls all the time. I spent a lot of time alone."
"On your honeymoon?' I stated not thinking either. "What a bitch."
Then all eyes turned to me.
Well, shit.
"I mean I don't get why you didn't divorce me then and there." I amended.
This actually made Emma emotional, and she turned away. "I should have; all the signs were there."
I reached for her shoulder and pulled her close. "I'm sorry." I stated.
Emma looked at me and smiled. "If I'd left then, we wouldn't have the kids. That's the best thing to come out of it."
I smiled, "Now you have the kids and your freedom it's a win-win."
She smiled back at me. "Thank you," She put her head down on my shoulder. "You're nicer now."
I squeezed her a little tighter and caught a glimpse of Ruby, whose wide eyes darted between us and Dorothy, and I remembered myself. "Uh oh.. the two of you aren't going to get back together are you?" Dorothy stated.
The both of us let go of each other as if on fire. "Ew…" she stated.
"No," I commented.
Dorothy turned uncomfortably and climbed to the top of the waterfall. "I don't know about You, but I'm ready to cool off."
As Dorothy walked up, I heard Emma mutter to Ruby. "Does she ever wear anything but that bikini?"
"I'm hoping for a g-string and a pirate hat." Ruby answers. But all eyes are on the young body that dives from the top of the waterfall into the clear pool below.
I turned to Henry and got down to his eye level. "Now you go and scream I love you mama Gee on the way down."
He looked at me and rolled his eyes. "That's super corny and it isn't going to happen." He said pulling his shirt of and towing off his shoes. He climbed up to the top and shouted. "Look, Momma Gee!"
I look up and smile at him as he flips off the top of the waterfall. I gasped in surprise. " He's in the swim team at the Y," Emma stated.
"Solid." Ruby stated. And I smiled proudly at him.
"Okay Munchkin, you gonna jump in?" I asked. Katy Screamed at the top of her lungs. "Oh my god, what's wrong with her?"
"Regina, She can't swim." Emma stated holding the little girl close.
"What?" I stated. "Why are we here?'
"Because Henry wanted to be here." Emma stated. "She's four regina."
"Do you want to learn?" I asked her. The little girl shook her head. "I can teach you."
Katy looked at me wide eyed and shook her head. Just then Dorothy emerged on the other side of the pool and perched herself on a rock. "Come in you guys! The water is magical!"
Emma looked at the younger woman and rolled her eyes. She kneeled next to me and talked to Katy. "Do you mind if mommy goes in to feel the magic and you stay here with fake daddy for a bit?'
Katy nodded and Emma stood heading toward the top of the waterfall shedding clothing as she went. And my god, my bikini bottoms wet a little as she shed her clothing. The itty bitty red bikini she wore making my mouth water.
I noticed Henry heading to the shore. A smirk on his face as his mother dived in. "You didn't know my mom had that smokin body huh?"
I was breathless. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"It's my mom…" he answered
"Man, I gotta start taking the stairs." I mumbled.
"Don't buy that line," Henry says, "Mom's in the gym like it's her second job."
"Hot damn, I'm going after my woman." Ruby said heading up the out crop, but she didn't have a suit, so he jumped in Naked. I startled and covered the kids eyes. Except Henry moved my hand and watched Ruby's very attractive body disappear under water.
