Chapter 2 - Spirit Warrior in Karakura Town
Tusker has enveloped Dante in his powers, it revealed Dante was the real savior, or destroyer.
"Dante, is the true savior after all," Zico said.
"But he's suffering too much!" Roya said, looking at Dante in pain, and she ran towards him.
"Wait Roya," Zico warned her, but she didn't listen and went to him, "Dante!" But she was thrown by a shock wave. Zico holds her.
Then the Tusker finally emerged inside the spirit of Dante. And Dante goes inside the Tusker.
"Dante is the true savior. All we can do is believe in that," Zico said.
Then Tusker finally opened his wings and showed his face.
"So, this is the Tusker's true form?" Noa said, looking at the Tusker.
Tusker put his step in the ground, and he released the energy and all over the ground started breaking away in pieces, "All you spirits dormant in all the lands, come forth! The time has come to obliterate this world the humans have shaped, and create a new world for the spirits!" He commanded.
"Create a new world for the spirits?" Noa asked in shock, he thought the Tusker was the key to controlling the world, but he didn't know, the Tusker didn't follow anyone's command. Everyone follows back the Tusker's commands.
"So that was the Tusker's goal!" Zico said in a shocked voice.
"But then what will happen to Dante?" Roya asked.
Tusker released the shock wave, and all over the world Spirit were by himself they went out from the body of the Spirit Warrior. Even the Spirits dwelling in the ground drowned out.
"They're completely under the Tusker's control," Zico said, looking over at the Spirits coming in front of the Tusker.
Meanwhile Dante opened his eyes from inside of the Tusker, "Where am I? What am I doing here?" He asked.
"Your self no longer exists. You shall become a part of me." Tusker answered him.
"Who are you?" Dante asked in anger.
A black shadow, the same as Dante, appeared in front of him, "I am power." He also shows the scene when Dante was killing the other Spirit Warrior. "The power to destroy all things. I shall become one with you, and destroy everything in this world. And then I will transform it into a world for spirits."
"A world for spirits?" Dante asked back.
"You have been chosen to see that through to its end as the last living human. Your power will destroy all, and create a new world. Yes… You are Tusker," The shadow answered and then it mixed inside the Dante.
Just using a little bit of his powers Tusker destroyed the Tusk Castle, even the Roya and Zico's Spirits got into control of Tusker.
And all of the Spirits started attacking the humans. Zico was attacked while saving the Roya, when she throws out the Artificial Spirit Ex Machina, which is not under the the control of Tusker.
But Zico died in the arms of Roya. Now only Ex Machina stands in the way of Tusker to stop him. Tusker attacked the Ex Machina, but Ex Machina absorbed all of the attack easily.
"Pretty stubborn, aren't you? You're going to be worth taking down!" Tusker laughed as he jumped and came in front of the Ex Machina, and then easily destroyed it with his fist.
"Hahahahaha, Hahaha, I can feel it. I can feel absolute power flowing through me!" Tusker laughed.
Noa tried to call back Dante, "You are a nuisance," Tusker said and caught Noa in his hands, and went to kill him.
"Tusker, you can kill me if you want to! Just please give Dante back! I'll give you my life. So please, please…" Noa pleaded, and his voice made the Tusker lose focus on Dante's body.
"Shut, I've gained Absolute Power!" Tusker shouted, but then the soul of Zico came in front of the shadow possessed by Dante.
"It is time for you to snap out," He advised Dante.
"Zico, eh. What are you here for?" Tusker asked Zico.
"Dante, you must not surrender to the Tusker, you need to control yourself," Zico said, and then he showed the scene when Dante's mom died.
"That's a laugh coming from you, old man. The one who was so hot for power that he dragged my mom into this world and broke her WAS YOU, WASN'T IT?" Dante shouted at Zico, while he broke away from the Tusker's control.
"Dante, you are the one true savior. Your role is to stop the warring. This is farewell, Dante," Zico said and then he vanished away from this world forever. From the Tusker's spirit, Noa was also released, Roya caught him.
"Where are you, Amir Gaoul?" Dante shouted inside from the body of Tusker, "Lend me your power!" He shouted and Amir Gaoul broke away from the Tusker's body with Dante.
And since Tusker's balance was destabilized, Amir Gaoul and Dante easily broke away the Tusker and separated the Tusker body again in the five different godly spirits. Dante quickly captured it, and then with Amir Gaoul and the five godly spirits, Dante vanished from there, leaving the Spirit World on his own terms.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a different place, where he had never visited. But first of all he focused on the Godly Spirits, because it was very dangerous if it went inside someone's hands.
Then he noticed that all of the Godly Spirits had vanished, "Well it was still okay, if they were vanished, now, I didn't need to focus on them," Dante comments.
Then he found two white and bluish color wings behind him connected to his back, and these were the same wings which Amir Gaoul has.
"What has happened?" Dante questioned himself, and then thought about the wings, it was retracted, it was like it vanished from existence.
Then he thought again, and wings appeared again. "So Amir Gaoul has not vanished, but it just connected to me," Dante feels.
Amir Gaoul, the strongest member of the six Godly Key Spirits. At first, Amil Gaoul appeared as a turquoise being who could summon two feathered wings to create its powerful wind-based attacks.
After it started awakening for real, it first awakened as a Phoenix; then, when it had completely awakened, it returned to its humanoid form, this time with the addition of feathered, golden armor.
In its final form, Amil Gaoul is able to open its eyes, while showing new powers and abilities, now being able to create a spear and create even more powerful wind attacks. But now its powers were just inside the body of Dante, giving him unlimited powers.
Then he thought about the Pronimo, and his hands turned red, and now he can extend his desire, the same as the Pronimo. Pronimo has a rubber-like body capable of extending its arms and legs to deliver powerful blows of kicks and punches and also being able to twist its body to dodge attacks.
Pronimo has also shown the power to shoot powerful and destructive lasers from the Blue portion of its face capable of producing a crystal encasing like effect on its opponents, Pronimo has also displayed the power to create Blue missile like projectiles for long ranged bombardment.
Then he thinks about the Sachura Godly Spirits. And then quickly two yellow ring-like blades appeared in front of Dante. Sachura has shown the power to create ring-like blades from its shoulders, using them as a pair of guided projectiles in long/close range combat.
It can also create shining, dust-like energy bombs for sneak attacks or for wide scale bombardment. It can stop and blast in the line, and Sachura can also use its blade-like arms for close-range combat.
Then Dante thought about the Monardi, which was even stronger than Sachura and Pronimo, and swiftly a double headed spear appeared in his hand.
Monadi can detach a portion of its shoulders to create a double headed/edged spear weapon for close range combat that also doubles as a bow.
Being able to generate energy arrows for concentrated shots, Munadi also displayed the power to shoot laser beams from the middle pair of its eight eyes.
Then Dante thinks about Dynamis and quickly six extra hands appear, and just like the Dynamis, he has the power to shoot and create fireball attack from the holes in the palms of its hand. And it can balance everything in but it was weaker than the Shadin.
Then finally Dante can also control the Shadin abilities, and with it, he feels he has become incredibly powerful after controlling the Shadin.
Since Shadin has the Physical strongest of the six Godly Spirits being able to create powerful Blue colored lightning/fire attacks, and being capable of thrashing other spirits with ease thanks to his powerful brute strength.
"So, all of the Godly Spirits are mixed with my body, but I am only able to control one Godly Spirit's powers at one time. Well, whatever, first I need to found, where I am," Dante thought, then he decided to search around himself to find where he had just fallen.
He looked towards his left and right, and searched for some symbols or characters to understand his current position. He found a building, he went towards it and read the name board, 'Karakura High School' on it.
"Well, I hope someone can tell me where I landed," He goes nearer towards the school. He noticed a big monster was going towards the school. He had a skull face, but there was a big hole in his stomach.
"What is this being?" Dante asked to himself, "Well, whatever, it is a pain for eyes," He thought, and took out his spirit sword, jumped a little and then with a flash the monster was split in two, then it vanished.
"Whoa, who was he? How can he jump so high? And what's just he does now?" The students shouted, when they noticed Dante from their classroom window. Although they weren't able to see the monster, they were able to notice the jump of Dante.
Dante noticed an orange haired guy was standing here, he was wearing black monk robe, he had a big black colored sword, which looked like a knife in his hand. Dante understood, this guy was just going to fight the being.
"Hey, who are you? Can you see me?" The guy was shocked Dante was able to see him, he asked.
"I am Dante, and of course, I can see you if you are standing here," Dante replied, he thinks this guy is asking a stupid question.
"Are you really telling me the truth, are you able to see me?" Orange haired guy asked again.
"Of course. Are you an idiot, who is asking the same question?" Dante asked, as he came near the orange haired guy and flicked on his forehead, "See, you are not dreaming."
Orange haired guy came into shock, that's someone was able to see him, "I am Ichigo Kurasaki, it was really shocking, that you can see me," Ichigo introduced himself, while he was still shocked but he knew some people has spirit and they can see him, and this Dante even able to killed the Hollow, show he must be have strongest spirit.
"Why? Are you a ghost that no one is able to notice you," Dante asked, he looked at Ichigo as an idiot.
"Well, it's very difficult to explain in a few words?" Ichigo didn't know how to reply, then a red haired guy came.
"I am Renji Abarai, well it was a little bit shocking to see, someone can easily kill the Hollow. But still there were many of the weird people appearing, who can kill the Hollow," Renji said, after the appearance of Chad, Uryu and Orihime again appearing, someone new was not the weird.
Ichigo then got inside his body, Dente was shocked to see this. "What have you done now?" He asked.
"First, you come with us, we will explain everything," Renji said.
"Hey, you idiot, why have you come here, why didn't Rukia return from the Soul Society," Ichigo asked Renji.
"We will talk about it later, first I am bringing him to the Urahara Shop," Renji replied and took Dante towards the Urahara Shop.
Ichigo looked at them for a few seconds, then he returned back to his classroom.
"Ichigo, who was the guy?" Orihime asked.
"He tells his name Dante, but not more than this I knew about him, Renji brought him away at Urahara Shop," Ichigo replied.
"Uh huh," Orihime nodded with a serious expression, then she suddenly cheered by putting her fist upwards.
"What are you doing, Orihime Inoue?" The class teacher asked. Orihime started laughing, then the whole classroom started laughing.
After school, Orihime and Tatsuki were sitting together like always. "It's still, hot like the summer," Tatsuki said.
Then suddenly, Orihime started hitting her forehead, "Ow, my brain froze. But it's so refreshing… But it's painful…" She said while eating the ice cream.
"You should eat a little at a time," Tatsuki advised.
After the effects of Ice cream went away, she was relieved, "Yeah Tatsuki, you are absolutely right. How's your hand doing anyway?" She asked.
Tatsuki shows her hand to Orihime, "One hundred percent, no problem at all. Besides, the championship is next month, I'm doing great," She replied.
"Oh Tatsuki, you are really amazing… Compared to I am just…" Orihime compliments Tatsuki, then she becomes sad. It was really amazing to see, in just a few seconds, she became happy, then sad.
"Orihime?" Tatsuki said, but before Tatsuki said something more, again Orihime held her forehead, again the after effects of ice cream started.
Tatsuki asked if Orihime had some problem, to which Orihime replied, she wanted to make some contribution, but she feels, she was useless.
"Orihime, you are already good enough. It's not for you to decide if you help people or not, the only thing you can do is to be yourself. Most important thing is, you are safe, welcome home Orihime Inoue," Tatsuki answered.
"I Orihime Inoue… will always do my best!" Orihime nodded and saluted herself, then she quickly ate the ice cream, and then her hand was frozen.
"Are you all right," Tatsuki asked while laughing.
Meanwhile at the Urahara Shop, Kisuke Urahara, Tessai Tsukabishi, Jinta Hanakari, Ururu Tsumugiya, Yoruichi Shihōin and Renji Abarai all of them were looking at Dante.
"So, you are saying, you are a Spirit Warrior, and by mistake you have come here, and this place is totally new to you," Urahara asked.
"Yes, this is really a different place from my hometown, I just wanted to return home, but then I was transported here," Dante agreed.
"Then, how are you able to see the Hollow?" Urahara again asked.
"I am not the blind, so of course I am able to see it clearly, after all the Hollow was a big monster in front of my eyes. Why is it weird, if I am able to see them," Dante replied.
"Well, I will give you some brief details," Urahara said. "In this world, after people die, their soul will leave the body. But the souls were of two types. The first type are the whole, they are the normal spirits and good spirits. You can know them as ghosts. While the other types, we call them Hollows. Hollows attack the living and dead indiscriminately and Devourer their souls. Hollows are evil spirits," He explained.
Dante was shocked to hear the new information, he didn't know there were also good and bad spirits. So he fought today a fallen soul, or it is called Hollows.
"And the guy you have seen Ichigo or this Renji, they are called the Soul Reaper, they have the duties. First they conduct Konsi which sends the Wholes to the Soul Society. Second they vaporize the Hollows," Urahara explained about the Soul Reaper duties.
"So, there are some bad guys known as Hollows and Soul Society works to kill the Hollows, before the Hollows kill the normal human," Dante said, this all he has understood.
"Yes, that's right, you understood everything properly," Urahara nodded.
"Ok, then all of you know, how will I return back to my world, my hometown," Dante asked again.
Urahara thought for a few minutes, "I didn't know about this, because I didn't even know where you belonged from, but we will try to find out about it," Urahara answered, Dante nodded.
Yoruichi looked at Dante, she asked, "You have something special connected to your hometown. I am just asking about it, because I didn't want you to become worried or sad, if you didn't find the way to your hometown."
Dante thought about his hometown, there was a little bit of connection to his hometown, but since his mom is dead and Noa is living in the Spirit World, then there really is not any connection to his hometown.
"Well, if you all found it, it's okay, if you didn't find it, it's also okay," Dante said. Now he doesn't mind, he can leave anywhere, he can do a fresh start, since there was not any connection of him to his hometown.
"Well, till we find out the way of your hometown, why you didn't just stay with us. Meanwhile, you can also kill the Hollows to safeguard the Karakura Town," Urahara advised Dante. And Dante agreed with it.
They sit down for dinner, Renji quickly eats his portion, "Will you need more. There's no reason to hesitate, just because you're a freeloader. Here, now, how about another serving, Mr. Freeloader?" Tessai asked Renji.
Renji looked at Tessai with a strange expression, then he agreed, "Uh… In that case… Okay, sure give me."
"You're the first to get the second portion? But don't worry, you don't need to hesitate, Mr. Freeloader," Ururu said.
It makes Renji hesitate, while he goes to take a second portion.
"Well, even a freeloader would want the second portion! Eat up! Eat up!" Jinta comments.
"Quit calling him freeloader, freeloader! If you say it, how can he feel comfortable asking for the second portion? Right, Mr. Freeloader?" Urahara said.
"Why can't he take the second portion," Dente asked, because if today they are taunting Renji, they can even taunt him the next day. His whole life Dante has lived with the respect, he can't lose his respect.
"Oh, by the way, you need to clean the front of the shop tomorrow morning, right?" Jinta again taunts Renji.
Hearing it, Dante leaves the rest of the food on the table, "Thanks, I have seen your hospitality. Now, I don't need your place to live, if all of you are like this type of people, which I have never liked. Because from my childhood, I was respected," Dante said.
"Hey, what's the meaning of people like us?" Jinta asked, but before he got his answer, two white and bluish feathers appeared beside Dante, he opened the door and flew away from there.
"Thanks for your food, but I also don't need another bite," Renji said as he also leaves the place, seeing Dante, he also can't accept the disrespect.
Jinta started laughing while seeing them leaving.
"I didn't think they both were so sensitive?" Urahara said.
Dante flew away from there, but he didn't know where he could live. Then he see, two people were training, he found the blonde haired boy had hit the wall and shattered it, his one hand had some Armor like. But the Orange haired girl quickly brings him to some other place.
While one blue haired guy from far away looked towards them. Dante forgets about them, as he goes towards a near a forest, since he didn't know about the currency here, he will decide later how to adjust his living, but till now he decided to sleep on a tree.
Meanwhile at the Orihime's home, one guest has visited. "It's good to see you again, you look well," The guest said, it was none other than the Orihime's dead brother, who was nearly going to transform into Hollow. But Ichigo saved him.
"Thank you, I was not sure… On that day…" Orihime said she remembered the time her brother was purified and sends back to Soul Society.
"Yeah, I was able to go to Soul Society. It's all right now, don't worry… I won't become a Hollow again," Sora replied.
"I'm so glad! You got there safely?" Orihime said.
"Yes. You went too, didn't you, Orihime? The Soul Society," Sora asked.
"Yeah, how did you know that," Orihime asked.
"I am your elder brother. I know everything. I noticed you haven't changed at all since you were a little girl, you were always worried about me all the time. You were so cute, you remember making snow bunnies with your frostbitten hands. While waiting for me," Sora explained.
Orihime laughed hearing the childhood scene, "Yes," She nodded.
At the same time, Renji gets out from the Urahara Shop and runs towards Ichigo, "Hey Ichigo, Wake up! Hey!" He shouted and Ichigo was woken up.
"Shut up! What the hell are you doing at this hour?" Ichigo shouted at him.
"I sense a massive Spiritual pressure, come with me," Renji said.
"Why the fuck, I have to go with you? Or you are just like Rukia, you can't handle things by yourself?" Ichigo asked back.
"You try to feel it," Renji said, then Ichigo focuses and then senses it near the Orihime.
Both of them quickly got out of the house to go towards the Orihime house.
Chad in his home feels the same massive energy, as he wakes up.
Uryu also felt the same energy while he was studying.
Dante also wakes up, when he feels the massive energy. Two wings appeared beside him, as he went towards the massive Spiritual energy.
Meanwhile back at Orihime, She explained, "No, I wasn't just worried about you. I just always felt so lonely inside a big empty house. I still remember being relieved whenever you came home."
"I felt the same. When I was with you, everything was ok," Sora agreed.
Orihime asked while smiling, "It's that true?"
"Yes. Orihime, is there something troubling you? Something that makes dreams about me?" Sora asked, as he gave a villainous smile.
"I didn't understand, how do you know about my dream?" Orihime asked.
"I know that's enough. I have a good idea, why don't we get some fresh air," Sora said, at the Orihime's house window a big Hollow appeared.
"Brother, what are you doing?" Orihime asked, then it revealed there was not his brother, but that it was a trap set by intelligent Hollow, who can use the memory to disturbed and hunt.
"It's time for you to come with us," Hollow said as he opened his mouth.
Ichigo and Renji come, Chad and Uryu also come there, they were just going to fight the Hollow. But before they do it, Dante comes there by flying, the wings transformed into swords and with a clean sweep, Dante cuts the Hollow into two pieces.
Hollow even didn't get a time to scream, before he burnt completely, he vanished from there.
"Who are you? Oh, you are the morning guy, thank you for saving me," Orihime said.
"Well, it's okay, I was sleeping, but this Hollow disturbed me," Dante replied.
"Oh, I am Orihime Inoue. What about you? Where do you live?" Orihime asked.
"My name is Dante. And, about living, I am living near a forest," Dante answered.
"What? You are living in a forest? You didn't have your home?" Orihime asked, she always wanted to make everyone comfortable.
"Well, I have not a home," Dante replied, while lowering his face, he didn't know how to answer it.
"Oh," Orihime thought, while she hit her head to remember something, then her eyes lit up. "Why don't you stay in my big house? Since I am living alone here," She said.
Ichigo fell to the ground after hearing it, Chad, Uryu and Renji looked towards Dante. Renji was really impressed with Dante, since Dante was so fast, solve the Hollows in one clean sweep.
"Well, if you have no problem, then I can stay here," Dante replied.
"Of course, I have no problem," Orihime quickly brings Dante inside, she gives him her brother's room. While explaining about how she lives here with his brother, but then his brother died, and now she lives alone.
Ichigo, Renji, Chad and Uryu returned back to their home. While Orihime showed him all over the house. Dante starts smiling seeing her actions, it brings back the Roya's memories to Dante. It was also rare to see Dante smile, even Dante's didn't when the last time he smiled.
Orihime's habit, behavior and her funny actions gives the feelings of a little sister for Dante. Even unknown to himself, Dante has decided to protect Orihime's all of the time.
Dante finally accepted the new place and a fresh start, before he fell asleep.
