A/N: I Just lost interest in this pretty quick. If anyone decides to use this then please remember to give credit to Gardevoir687 for the original work. The A/N after this was my original that I left in for information.
A/N: I borrowed the general premise to this story from Gardevoir687 who wrote "Pranking the Tournament." Please check it out. It's well worth the read. However, do not expect my story to look the same. While my premise for the prank is similar, I have made several changes to make this story unique and my own. It has its own path to follow. I hope you enjoy it.
Pranking the Tournament – Take Two
by Roff
ONE
Harry Potter was looking forward somewhat to his last year at Hogwarts. Of course, it was his eighth year instead of seventh due to being on the run all last year looking for the horcruxes and then finally finishing off Voldemort in June.
All summer, he helped with the repairs on the school so it would be ready by September. Gratefully, many people came to help, even from other countries, so that gave them enough workers to finish everything. Some were even very knowledgeable in that type of work. Whatever was lacked by the workers was made up for by the team of goblins that were sent to assist. It was nice to see Beauxbatons and Durmstrang show up to help as well.
Fleur Delacour and Victor Krum returned leading the charge for the two schools. They stayed all through the summer with Professors and students who joined them and helped with the repairs. It was fun seeing them again and working along beside them.
Harry turned eighteen on July 31st during the summer, but now it was September 1st and they were all sitting in the newly redecorated Great Hall waiting for the sorting of the first years to start. Harry had been named Head Boy and Hermione, ever her dream, was made Head Girl. She asked if Ginny wanted the position but the redhead promised she was not interested in the least. She felt like Neville and herself had already served in the head positions the previous year as they tried to protect everyone from the Death Eater teachers.
Harry and Ginny never got back together. She ended up falling for Neville during their harrowing time at the castle while Harry, Hermione, and Ron were on the run dealing with their own issues. Neville constantly stepped up and protected her so it was inevitable she started falling for him. He always had a soft spot for Ginny anyway. That was the reason he asked her to the Yule Ball in his fourth year which was Ginny's third year.
Harry was happy for them since he had gone through so many changes over that year. He no longer felt the same for her, realizing that he had grown up very fast and now knew that love was never part of the equation between them. Of course, he never understood love very well but had a crash course in it over the past summer.
It was on his birthday when Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Neville took him out to a club, a magical one, to celebrate. Apparently, a few of these places had sprung up after Voldemort and his Death Eaters were no longer a threat to everyone. Harry was having a fun time dancing with his friends and a few fan girls who asked him to dance. He tried to be nice and indulge them. He figured it would help them to see he was just a normal guy.
He was taking a break from the dancing and drinking a cold Butterbeer when he spotted the most beautiful girl he had ever seen across the way. She was chatting with what he assumed to be her friends. She looked to be around his same age and appeared to be quite tall for a girl. Harry was about a half inch above six foot and this girl looked to be about his height or at least she did with her shorter friends. Of course, she could have had high heels on but with all the people between them it was not possible to see her feet.
She was striking and could easily be a high class fashion model he thought to himself, but she must be a witch if she's here in the club with all the other magical people. He didn't recognize her though so assumed she must have gone to a different school instead of Hogwarts. 'In for a knut in for a galleon' he said to himself. He was Harry Potter after all, even though he hated using his fame.
Boosting his courage, he walked toward the girl to see if he could talk her into a dance or two. He didn't get all the way there before the girls with her noticed who he was. She, on the other hand, didn't appear to have the same recognition. However, her eyes did light up with recognition when her friends screamed his name.
"HARRY POTTER!" they all yelled in perfect sync over the loud din of the music, waving and acting silly as he walked over to them.
Harry smiled at them and continued his approach. Once he was there in front of them he could see that the girl was likely around five foot ten instead of six foot, quite tall for a girl. She had silky auburn hair on the darker side of that reddish-brown color and green eyes a shade or two darker than his. Harry stepped up to her.
"Hello, ladies," he said to them then looked directly at the girl he found so attractive. "Hi, I'm Harry Potter."
"I gathered that when my friends became frantic and yelled your name right in my ear," she said putting a finger in it and wiggling it around as she frowned.
"Yes, it's a burden but it only happens when I'm in the Magical world. I actually have to go to the Muggle side to get away from all the attention," he told her.
"Maggie here has to come to the Magical side to get away from her fans," one of the girls offered.
"Don't tell him that!" she scolded her friend. "I happen to like my anonymity over here so let's keep my fame secret shall we?"
"Oh, no worries. I know exactly how you feel so your secret is safe with me. That's why I do most of my shopping and going out in the Muggle world. Less issues that way."
"I have heard of you, Harry Potter."
"I was wondering because it didn't look like you recognized my face when your friends did. You seem to come around when they said my name."
"Yes, I've heard your name enough so recognized that. I just don't read any of the magical papers so I wasn't familiar with your face. Well, I am now," she assured him with a smile.
"So you spend most of your time in the Muggle world?"
"I work there, so yes."
"Let me guess. Judging by the way you look you must be a high-class fashion model who is way out of my league."
"I think you have that backwards, Mr. Potter," she said with another smile. "You are the savior of the wizarding world so you are out of my league. But you did get close on the job. I'm actually more of a swimsuit and lingerie model."
Harry perked up at that as his eyebrows almost receded into his hairline.
"My interest is peaked then," he told her with a smile. "I would love to see some of your work," he said seriously before smiling again, as he flirted with her.
"That might could be arranged," she offered, flirting back.
"However, before we go that far," he said slowing them back down, "would you care for a dance? Would you take pity on this plain Englishmen and allow me at least one measly dance?"
"Certainly, I may even allow you two," she said demurely.
"You're just teasing me now…."
"Harry?"
"Harry?"
Harry snapped out of it and looked at his friends.
"Where did you go, Harry?" asked Hermione. "You were a thousand miles away."
"Oh, I was bored and remembered my birthday celebration at that club you guys took me to."
"You were just thinking about Maggie," Ron accused.
"Maybe," he said with a smile.
"Well, it's time to eat so you better get your head out of the clouds Harry so you don't miss the entire meal," Ginny told him.
"Oh, I suppose you're right" he realized looking around him at everyone already eating.
Harry then dug in and filled his plate. After the meal was over, Headmistress McGonagall stood and gave the announcements. What was surprising was her announcing the return of the Triwizard Tournament. It was going to be held at Hogwarts again because everyone felt there was too much interference during the last one, so they were going for a do-over.
The age was still seventeen or older to be eligible to compete, plus Durmstrang and Beauxbatons would be returning with new students as possible entrants. The tasks would be completely different and less dangerous than last time. More cooler heads have prevailed, she explained, since all the idiots that decided on the last events were no longer in office.
As it turns out, while Durmstrang and Beauxbatons were here helping over the summer, the idea was formed and agreed on. It was four years later after all which was close to the usual time frame and they felt they could get it right this time. Harry, who listened intently to all the information stood and asked to make a statement when McGonagall paused in her announcements.
"May I make an announcement, Professor?"
"Of course, Mr. Potter. You are Head Boy, after all, and it would not be remiss if you did."
"Thank you, Professor." He then turned and faced the students. "I just want to make it perfectly clear that I will not be entering my name into the Tournament. Just like four years ago when my name was entered illegally by a Death Eater and most of you refused to believe that I didn't enter myself, I still have no interest in participating. I know there will be no Voldemort waiting at the end of this one, but I'm still not interested. My Head Boy duties will keep me busy enough as I prepare for my NEWTS at the end of this year."
He paused and looked around at them all but then started to sit but changed his mind.
"One more thing. If my name does happen to come out of that goblet, rest assured I, once again, wasn't the one who put it in and confounded the goblet. Are we clear on that?" he asked.
Most of the students nodded their heads in agreement.
"Good," he said then sat back down.
"I can understand why you are not fond of the Triwizard Tournament, Mister Potter, and no one could ever blame you. Rest assured, however, not only will there be an age line drawn around the goblet but there will be a 24 hour watch on it as well. We will be aware of everyone who approached it and placed anything in it. I pledge to do my best, Mr. Potter, to keep your name out of it."
"Thank you, Professor. I've had enough excitement to last a life time."
Many people chuckled at his statement.

Classes began and after a few weeks people noticed that Harry was leaving the castle most every weekend, and even sometimes at night during the week. Given he was an adult and the Harry Potter, they supposed he could leave if he wants and when he wants.
Harry wasn't talking about it but his close friends knew where he was going. He was spending all available time with his new girlfriend. After the meeting at the club and several dances later, they were practically inseparable. They hit it off right away.
As it turns out, Maggie was a squib from the Rosier family that died out during the first wizarding war. Well, it was considered that they all died out but the truth was, only the magical ones of the family in Britain died out. There was a male squib born that was shunned by the dark family, so he left and made his fortune in the Muggle world, siring his own family of squibs, with a witch and a wizard coming along from a couple of his daughters so they had different last names and were assumed to be Muggleborn when they attended Hogwarts. No one corrected that assumption either since they didn't want the stigma of the Rosier name causing any issues. This offshoot of the Rosier family completely abandoned all the pureblood beliefs and lived peacefully with their Muggle friends.
The shunned squib was Maggie's grandfather and she was christened with the name of Margaret Elise Rosier. Her father was the youngest brother to his two older sisters.
Margaret, who's professional working name in the fashion business was Maggie Rose, was born a squib but had a younger sister who was a witch. That was why she still had close contact with the magical world. Her sister attended Beauxbatons instead of Hogwarts though, since the Rosier name was tainted as a dark family in Britain.
Maggie was eighteen years of age, just like Harry, and had been modeling for a few years. She started as a teenage model and climbed the ranks quickly. Once she became an adult her career skyrocketed, especially since she could now model lingerie and not just swimsuits. She still got the occasional runway gig where she showed off expensive gowns and outfits. She had even appeared in a few commercials which really boosted her career.
The couple did not take long to get to know each other, just a couple of dates, before their relationship became very physical. When Harry left in the evening it was usually because Maggie had a show and went to support her. However, every weekend he would go stay with her in her flat and attend any events with her if needed. Most of the time he left right after classes ended on Friday afternoon and did not return until breakfast in the Great Hall on Monday morning.
They actually spent most of their time in bed together over the weekends if she didn't have to work.
Harry was wondering how he got so lucky to have such a gorgeous woman for a girlfriend. He couldn't believe how beautiful she was and was not afraid to tell her that. She insisted right back that he was too hot for words, especially since he had his eyes fixed with laser surgery and no longer wore glasses. Those bright green eyes of his just popped and she could get lost in them forever. While she had green eyes as well, hers were not near as bright as Harry's. She wished her eyes were as bright as his, thinking how much they would help her in her career.
The two were definitely falling in love quickly.

October 30th arrived before he knew it so they were greeting the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang contingents. They both came by the same methods as last time, Beauxbatons in their large powder-blue carriage, drawn by large flying Abraxan palominos, and Durmstrang in their old sailing ship that could miraculously submerge like a submarine.
They were introduced like last time and Hogwarts got a show like last time as well, although the choreography was different this time. Karkaroff was dead so was no longer the Headmaster of Durmstrang but Madam Olympe Maxim was still the head of Beauxbatons. Durmstrang's new headmaster was named Mordecai Petrovich, their former professor of Alchemy.
It was after everyone was seated that McGonagall made all the announcements and welcomed the guests. They brought out the Goblet of Fire when she mentioned it and Harry glared at it as it was brought down the aisle by two Ministry workers to the front of the Great Hall.
"The rules for the tournament have been changed and improved over the summer, along with an update to the goblet to make sure it follows the new rules. Just be aware that it's still a magical contract if you are chosen. The new magical contract and goblet will reject anyone not of age. In addition, a twenty-four hour watch will be placed on the goblet to make sure no cheating is attempted. So, don't try anything," she warned. "Also, while the tasks are not as dangerous as last time, there will still be an element of danger on an adult level, which is why only adults will be allowed to enter the tournament. If you enter the tournament and are chosen, then you will fall under that magical contract and must compete or lose your magic. Do not enter your name if you are not serious about this and are ready to face the challenges of the tournament. You have been warned!"
After they were dismissed and the goblet was moved to its location so people could enter their names, Harry left to go work on his homework. He had no intention of even going near that goblet. If there was indeed a twenty-four hour watch then they will know that he was never there so couldn't have put his name in.
The next night was Halloween night and they were all at dinner, crowded around all the tables with the extra students from the visiting schools, plus the extra headmasters, dignitaries, and Ministry officials sitting at the extended head table. It was time for the goblet to choose the three champions so they were all waiting anxiously to hear who was going to be the ones to represent the three schools. That is everyone but Harry. He was not interested in the least but at the same time was a little worried about what was going to happen. He had experienced far too many Halloweens where something always bad happens to him to not be concerned.
McGonagall rose and approached the goblet after they had all eaten their fill.
"It is time for the tournament to officially begin with the Goblet of Fire choosing from all those who entered their names. The Goblet will choose three champions to represent the three schools in attendance here tonight. If your name comes out of the goblet then I want you to join me up front and face your fellow students. We will wait until all three champions have been decided before adjourning into the antechamber to issue your first instructions. Is everyone clear on that?" McGonagall asked.
She received plenty of nods from the highly interested audience.
The goblet's blue flame suddenly started sputtering and turned red. It then did something strange that had Harry very interested. It spat out the schools and champions in the exact same order as last time. The similarities were worrisome. The only differences were the students who were chosen as champions. First, a large burly wizard from Durmstrang was chosen, then a light haired beauty from Beauxbatons was next. This was followed by a seventh year Hufflepuff Harry didn't even know. Many Gryffindors were upset they weren't chosen.
All three champions were now arrayed in front of everyone next to McGonagall and everyone was still clapping for them. Harry waited anxiously to see if the goblet did anything else. McGonagall saw his face and the worried look. She waited until the applause died down before speaking again.
"I think you are safe this time, Mr. Potter. My watchers saw no unusual activity around the goblet the whole time it was available and it wasn't active again and able to receive any entrants until all of you saw it last night. See, no more names coming out," she said gesturing to it. "I think you can relax now."
Just then she heard a gasp from the audience and some very big eyes on many of the students. They were staring at the goblet. The Headmistress turned to the goblet only to see that the fire had turned red again and it was sputtering. Before she knew it, it let out a very high spout of flame and spit out another piece of paper.
Like the other times she automatically reached out and caught the fluttering paper in the air. She unfolded it then stared at it in shock… for a good while.
"Minerva?" asked one of the Ministry officials.
McGonagall looked up from the piece of paper in her hand and her eyes rested right on Harry. She had an apologetic look on her face. Harry stood up and shook his head.
"No," he muttered.
"Harry Potter," she said confirming it.
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?" he asked very agitated and loud, throwing his hands up and ranting.
"This has to be a prank on you Mr. Potter," she said. "It clearly has your name but it says the school is Salem Witches Academy. That's an all-girls school."
Most everyone started laughing. They found it pretty funny.
"I don't find this very funny," he said seriously when they stopped laughing. "This may be a prank but I'll tell you how I feel about it. If I catch the one who put my name in that goblet then there will be consequences and they will not enjoy them. I can promise you that."
Everyone looked serious all of a sudden because Harry Potter looked very serious.
"Would you please come to the front, Mr. Potter?"
"Did you happen to put anything into the new magical contract that protects people from others submitting their name?" he asked hopefully.
"No, Mr. Potter," answered a Ministry official. "That kind of magic is beyond what we can enforce, especially with an artifact like the goblet in the mix. I'm sorry but since you are of age then you are now under the magical contract so you must participate or risk losing your magic."
"Fine, but I'll only do so under protest," he said walking up. He went straight to McGonagall, "Can I have that piece of paper please?"
She handed it to him and he immediately felt some magic on it. He quickly let his wand drop into his hand and he cast a spell on the paper. He then shook his head.
"That's not my handwriting but there was a Confundus Charm placed on this piece of paper, Professor."
"Really? Interesting way around the protections."
"Yes, very interesting."
"All the remaining students are dismissed back to their houses while we take the champions into the antechamber room for their first instructions," McGonagall told them. "Dismissed."

More than a week later, Harry was staying over the weekend with Maggie in her flat. They had just finished making love and were running around the flat in their altogether. In other words, they were naked and interested in finding a snack to eat after some extended, and sometimes rigorous, love making.
Maggie asked how it was going at Hogwarts. Harry then filled her in about what happened. He then had to tell her all about his fourth year as well. She was shocked at it all. Then as they were eating their snack, she had an idea.
"Harry, if this truly is a prank, then you need to prank back."
"How would I do that?"
"Aren't you the son of a Marauder and a partner in Weasley Wizard Wheezes?" she asked.
"Yes, but I wasn't a Marauder like my dad and his friends. Also, I'm just the investor and silent partner with the Weasley store. That makes me pretty useless with pranks."
"Well, you definitely came to the right place," she said with confidence.
"Why? What did you have in mind?" he asked curiously.
"Polyjuice."
"Polyjuice?"
"Sure. Why don't you become a girl if you are supposed to be from an all-girls school? Maybe you could even wear a uniform that looks like a Salem Witches Academy uniform."
"Sounds good but for how long? I don't want to have to keep drinking the potion every hour. It would seem like I need to do this for a good long while to be truly effective and for the point to sink in."
"Haven't you heard of the new Polyjuice potion that lasts for a month?" she asked him.
"No, I've been a little busy," he said in a matter of fact way.
"Funny," she said with a straight face.
"Besides, what girl in her right mind would let me get that intimately familiar with her body and let me use it that way?"
"What about a girl's body you are already intimately familiar with?" she asked standing up in her birthday suit and twirling around.
"You're kidding!"
"No, I'm not. I trust you Harry. I'm sure you're not going to do anything while looking like me that will hurt me in any way."
"Are you sure you don't mind?" he asked sincerely.
"Harry, you've already seen everything I have and in case you haven't noticed I'm quite accustomed to showing off my body anyway."
"I might have figured that out already," he agreed with her.
"I know, let's get dressed and go to Diagon Alley. I'll show you where you can get the new Polyjuice and you'll likely need to get some new uniforms from Madam Malkin."
"I have an idea now. What if I sent some mail to the head of Salem Witches Academy explaining everything and asking for a uniform I could wear once I get my measurements from Madam Malkin? Wouldn't that be even better? I would even offer to pay for them."
"That's a great idea! Since the famous Harry Potter will be representing them in the prestigious Triwizard Tournament, I bet they will be willing to help you out."
"I don't like using my fame that way."
"I know, Harry, but sometimes it happens anyway because you just can't get away from it."
"I suppose you're right."
"So? You want to go and get this prank started?"
"Let's do it," he said with a smile.
After they were cleaned up and dressed, Harry apparated them to Diagon Alley. They first made their way to Madam Malkin's so they could get the measurements. Maggie was the one who actually got measured, then Harry collected the measurements from Madam Malkin. While Maggie was being kitted out with all new Hogwarts robes, Harry went over to the Post office so he could send his international correspondence. He wrote out the note with the measurements included and paid the attendant who turned around and sent the letter via international portkey. He then told Harry that they would owl him any response.
They had to wait on the robes to be finished, so Harry collected Maggie and they went to the apothecary shop and Harry bought the New and improved Polyjuice Potion that was guaranteed to last a month. You just needed to provide the sample from the person you will be impersonating. It was a little expensive but Harry would never be short on funds. He could easily purchase this every month for as long as he needed it. He also picked up the antidote to end it early, just in case.
The robes would be about an hour so they decided to look around for a bit. They went to the book store to see if they could find anything interesting in there. They then moved over to the trunk store. Harry ended up buying Maggie a leather satchel that was expanded on the inside. She loved it.
They then went to the movies on the Muggle side before coming back to Diagon Alley. They had just entered the Alley again when an owl flew down to Harry. He put out his arm so it would have something to land on. It landed with a note and a small package. Harry removed both so the owl could leave. He had Maggie hold the small package while he read the note.
Dear Mr. Potter,
I was so pleased to get your note and shocked that someone entered you again in that tournament against your will. Yes, we do keep up with some of the news over here, so I was aware of what happened in your fourth year. Rest assured, I am behind you 100%.
Not just myself, but when I read your note during meal time to the school, most of them were willing to send their own uniforms to help out. We all feel that what you plan on doing to prank the tournament is a wonderful idea. We are also thrilled that Harry Potter is representing us. We couldn't have asked for a better champion.
We have our own robe shop at the school so I didn't have to go too far with the measurements you provided to get you what you need. They did a rush and got them ready in about thirty minutes. I have enclosed five sets of regular SWA robes for you, plus one set of battle robes with our SWA logo proudly displayed. I hope you make good use of them.
There will be no charge for them but we do appreciate the offer.
I also noticed that your girlfriend must be something to look at with measurements like that.
Do try and win for us, will you? And don't forget to look smashing while you're at it in that new body and robes!
Ever yours,
Evelyn Rogers
Principle of Salem Witches Academy
They both read it together and smiled.
"See? What did I tell you?" she asked.
"This is going to be great!" he said excited.
