"Sis! Are you excited for the next Christmas party? Eeeee! I can't wait!" Ruby excitedly said as the two siblings were doing last minute Christmas shopping on what they should give their friends.
"Uh huh... Yeah, real excited for this Christmas gathering since what? The last one was merely a nothing burger since the author did it at the very last second?" Yang sarcastically said.
"C'mon Yang! The author was busy. That and It won't be so bad, and besides! You do enjoy them at the end."
"I was acting alright." Ruby rolled her eyes before the two walked into Buckler's Locker. "Listen Sis. Heading to a Christmas party is good and all but personally, i think i could manage a party at our home."
"Yang. We're spending the next fours years studying and doing missions at an academy and, though we're sisters. As a leader, just have fun." Ruby said while picking sportswear for girls.
"Fun? Listen Rubes, I'm always having fun. I'm the party girl of our team!"
"Yeah... Well you could always join the AGES Hotel Christmas party with our friends and the other students at Beacon."
"Oh that's sounds fun! That should go well with our dad." Yang said "Oh! You are going to spend the holidays with us with a drunk of an uncle and no mother figure! Here! Have Mrs. Hedgehog's cookies!" She said in a mocking snobbish british accent.

"Alright! Hey Qrow? Ready for your first Christmas with my nieces's friends?" Taiyang asked his partner/brother-in-law.
"Yeah but I'm not sure if I'm fine with having your daughter coming in later." Qrow and the others looked at Yang watching TV.
"Dad. Uncle. Don't worry about me, I'll go later. Just please, enjoy your time at Station Square.
"If you say so. Just promise us you'll come to the party, alright?"
"Okay Dad." The family left. Only leaving Yang and Zwei behind. The blonde haired hunteress continued watching TV. One show really peaked her interest.

Yang was left speechless by what she had saw.
"I have sooooo gotta watch this tomorrow!" She quickly sighed as she had a problem in her head now. "Who am i kidding... There's no way i could watch it at Sonic's mom's house..." She grabbed Zwei and rested in the couch.
"What do i do Zwei? It's really difficult to come up with an excuse not to come to a Christmas party." She then pondered. "Manic is always hogging the TV to watch his Christmas specials. If i try to take it, I'd be good as dead. Sonia will chew my ear. Uncle Qrow continues to tell stories under the influence of drinking. Then there's Dad who will shove Mrs. Hedgehog's Christmas cookies down my throat... Ewwww... I'm now sick just thinking about it..." She cringed at fhe fact that she'd be spoiled eating dessert, even after eating dinner.
DING!
"Sick? Why didn't i thought of that sooner?" That's where she had the realization where she can play sick in order skip out on the holidays. She stood up, put Zwei down to the floor, took her scroll out and proceeded to call her dad. She waited for her father to pick up the call.
Back at Station Square - Hedgehog's residence
"Hello? Yang? Are calling to let me know you're coming with us?" Taiyang said while helping Aleena and Shadow preparing for tomorrow.

"Hiiiiiii Daaaaad..." She said in feverish deep voice.
"Sweetie.. Is everything alright?"
"Daaaddy. I'm not feeling well... ACCCCHO!" She gave a convincing fake sneeze. "Bleh..."
"Yang! Honey! Do you need to me to head back home?"
"No dad. I don't want to make you sick... I wish i can come but i don't want to get everyone else affected as well... I don't think I'll make it in today nor Christmas Eve or Day... See you next year..."

The Next Day - Christmas Eve - Rose-Xiao Long residence
Twas Christmas Eve. The blonde huntress was sleeping peacefully in her bed until she woke up.
"It's time..." She got out of her bed before looking at the outside the windows. "A fantastic Christmas Eve morning." She hummed to jingle bells as she got ready for today. Brushed her teeth, cleaned her boots and going to the fridge to grab the most unhealthy junk food to last her an entire day of her watching Terror is Reality. She sat down on the couch with what she was able fo find before turning on the TV.
"Welcome to... Terror is Reality! I'm your host, Tyrone Kiiiiiiiiing! I am more than happy to be the host of this show. I am looking forward for the contestants to do better killing Grimm than that blonde chump Xiao Long and her circus team could do."
Yang was caught off guard by the comment the host made.
"Can i sue for that?"
Knock! Knock! Knock!
She went to the door to see who was knocking. It was her family and Sonic's friends and Family.
"Hi Sis!"
"Sis?! Mrs. Hedgehog?! Dad?! What are you doing here?!"
"Yang. I know you said you didn't want me to come back home for Christmas Eve but... I just can't imagine you having to spend the holidays all by yourself!"
"Sick?" She questioned before quickly coughing and played along. "Oh yeah..."
"That's why Mr. Xiao Long and I decided we should spend Christmas at his house! Him telling me about the situation is how i felt with my own son being sick on Christmas!"
"Oh that's real great Mrs. Hedgehog but you really shouldn't had have to..."
"Yang. You sound awful. Let's get you to rest." Taiyang said as he took Yang inside, place her in the couch, a thermometer in her mouth and wrapped her in a blanket. He then saw the junk food she had place intended for the show she was watching. "Now Missy, there's no way you could be eating these things in the state you're in." He threw them away as he quickly heat up the soup he cooked for the party.
"Here you go sweetie. It's made with fatherly love" The soup said "I love you".
"Let's you get better soon Yang." Ruby said, patting her head as she went to the kitchen to help her dad and Sonic's mom.
"Mmmph..." Manic then hopped into the couch his friend was resting on. Making the soup fall on her lap. "MMMMMPH! MMPH!" She yelled in pain
"Woah, you got a 4K TV? That's a bigger upgrade than an HD one! Let's see what's on?"
"MMNIC NNNN! DNNT DD II DNNT CHANGE THE CHANNEL NNN NNN NNN! MMMP MPP NNN NNN!" Yang tried her best to escape the tightness of the blanket and begged Manic to not changed the channal but alas, it was too late.
"Well would you look at that? Chuckie can really drink it all down with Orange jui-"
"And now, we return to the 24 hour Ruldoph marathon.
"AHAHAHAWAAAAAA!"
"Don't worry, we'll find your magic hat and saaaaaave Christmas!"
"Mmmph..." Manic enjoys the holidays special at the expense of Yang suffering. "Mmph Mmph Mmph..."
"They're here!" Sonia said
"Whh's Here?"
"Merry Christmas!" Ryuji said.
"Come in in everybody!" Sonia let Ren and his friends and family into the Rose-Xiao Long family house. Yang, however, stared at them. Giving the look of "Don't we have enough characters already for this dumb story made to satisfy the author's love for characters needlessly shoved in for the sake of it? Why put them in the first place?"
"Ugh.." She shrugged off.
"Yang-chan? You didn't think you'd spend the Christmas without us, didn't you?"
"Aa yyu ssre-" She uncovered the blanket covering her mouth. "Are you sure you'd be willing to spend Christmas with little ol' me being sick?"
"Nonsense! We might get with a poisoning status but won't stop us from enjoying the holidays. Besides, we all have some kind of sickness. Ain't that right sis?" Futaba said as May let out a nasty cough.
"With the meal Sojiro, I and the others are preparing. You will all feel fantastic."
"I'm very much looking forward to it. I mean? This is is the first time we're having Christmas dinner outside of Japan." Makoto said. And then Mercury-
AN: During the writing of this, one section of the video this story is adapting and not shamelessly ripping off (Hi Steve.) I unfortunately came into copyright issues regarding it's music and because of it. The audio was cut completely and, while there it's still not as vague as i assume Silver introduces himself to the cast, I have no clue what dialogue Silver is saying. Even with the Wayback Machine, it still doesn't show any results. Balena Production's more recent (which you all should support because YouTube screws him over and sees animation as nothing more than babysitters because god forbid parents do their jobs be parents), as far as I'm aware, doesn't feature the full length complete audio version of the video. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience but for now, please accept Mercury, like Silver in the Christmas with Sonic videos, will be the punching bag until i decide he isn't. Mewwy Kwiggy.
"Woa- WAAA!" Mercury slipped and fell into the basement of Huntress's home.
"Hi everybody!" Weiss and Blake arrived.
"Heya you two!" Ruby rushed in to give her friends hugs.
"Weiss? Blake? I thought you two went to the AGES Hotel Christmas party?"
"It was way too crowded there. The fact some were rude! Oooh! The nerve of those brutes..."
"Originally, we were hoping to head to Mrs. Hedgehog house but Tails sent us a call regarding you being sick. So we decided to head here."
"About that guys..." The four then heard a knocking. Taiyang opened the door to reveal Dr. Eggman.
"HO! HO! HO!" It was Eggman who arrived at the Christmas party. He brought in Roman with him. Promising what i said in the first RWBY Christmas with Sonic fanfic. Finally!
"What are they doing in here!? In our own house?!"
"Oh calm now Yang. I did say Roman would be open to us if the time was right and he did."
"To be honest, I'm a bit uncomfortable having the most wanted criminal in remnant in our house but since he's Eggman's partner and If the doctor can put aside his difference. So can he. Please Roman. Make yourself open to some hors d'oeuvres."
"Heh. Will do." He acted in the most gentleman before snapping his fingers. Neo arrived as well and looked at Yang. She gave her a smug look and held up a cartoon sign.
"Sucks that you are sick. Must be a Christmas miracle though. All offense" The sign said.
"I need an aspirin..." Weiss looked at the basement door being opened.
"Hey? Who left this basement door open?" She slammed the door shut. Not knowing Mercury was still in there.
"Uh? Hello? Somebody shut the basement door." He said before falling again.
At the bathroom
Yang opened the mirror to see if there any medicine she can to elevate to headache she's going through.
"Hey Yellow Dragon. Looking for these?" Sonic said with the medicine in his hand.
"Oh.. uh... Yeah. I am. Thanks Sonic." The hedgehog looked at her. Seeing if she was truly sick or just putting up an act.
"Yang. You can drop the act."
"Huh?"
"Yang. I know you're playing an act. Trust me, i did the exact same at the third Christmas get-together with my folks. It didn't turned out well as i hoped."
"... You are one smart Hedgehog."
"Yep. Considering that I'm getting a sense of deja vú, I assume bad family memories made you that way?"
"Yeah... It all started with my mom. Before leaving and before Ruby was born, my mom was, for better or for worse, the rain cloud of my life. I did everything i can so her, dad and i would become a family. Especially on Christmas. I could just hear her now."
Flashback to 12 Years early - Christmas Day - Years before Ruby's birth and the day Yang's holiday cheer was stripped away
"Welcome to the marathon that will drive your parents crazy-"
A more younger Yang watched the 24 hour Rudolph marathon. A door was heard open, revealing a disgruntled Raven carrying the Christmas tree.
"To think these trees used to be free.."
"Mommy!" Raven's daighter went up to hug her.
"What is it child? Is it the tree i got you?"
"Yes! I wanna put presents under the tree!"
"Presents? When i was your age, Qrow and i didn't give each other gifts. Only the patience of power and headaches." Raven went outside. Taiyang, Summer and Yang looked at the black haired women with her weapon on her side.
"Where are you going honey?" Taiyang asked his wife.
"Somewhere in training." It was one of the last things she said before leaving her husband, friend and daughter behind.
The Present
"-and she never came back..."
"Jeez... and I thought my dad's a deadbeat.."
"So for dad to have one of his own daughters not be with him for Christmas voluntarily? That would be horrible!" Yang sighed, looking at her dad helping out with Aleena, Sojiro, Shadow and Ren on cooking. Yang then felt someone hugging her from behind.
"I always knew you had a heart." Ruby said. Understandably getting to know why her sister doesn't like Christmas as much as she is.
"Yeah, well I'm choking on it. Just play along and we'll get through this."
Main room
"Let's see... there's the fine cheese but... the ham looks delectable here.. why not both?" Roman thought.
"Hey dude? Y'know, despite both Vector and Eggman also wesring the suit, I was supposed to be Santa in this shindig, right?"
"Well that's nice and all but I don't think I'd let some kid take over."
"Ha! You could try and be the crook but my santa gig. No way."
"Y'know? Santa was supposed to be round. I don't see that anywhere from you." Roman talked back.
"Round? Look at yourself?! I'm jolly as eff! Something that's crucial for the holidays! I know you're gonna end up in the naughty list for sure!"
"Ohho! So that's how it's gonna be huh? Well, how'd you like to be part of my special list?"
"You can threaten me all you want but I'm santa!" Ryuji said.
"No, I'm Santa." Roman said.
"No, I'm Santa!" Mecury said. Being fruity as ever before Ryuji and Roman kicked him into the basement once more.

"Everyone! Dinner is served. Please, enjoy the spread." Shadow said.
"Aw yeah." Max said as everyone got into the dinner table.
"I'm so gonna enjoy everything! I'm gonna have turkey, stuffing, cranberries, ham, biscuits, curry!" Yang wanted to eat all of the diverse food choice.
"Oh, no no no! You won't be able to eat those while you're sick. How about a nice bowl of chicken noodle soup." Aleena took her food away and replace it with soup. Yang made the biggest regret playing sick as she had
"Oh.. So good!".
"It all looks so better than what we saw outside, plus more..." Rene and Alex said. Being happy they dragged their friends being a part of festivities as a family.
"Oh my gosh, Shadow-San, Ren-Kun, Sojiro-San! You've outdid yourselves with this!" Ann said.
"Thank you! Even with Mr. Xiao Long's limited kitchen, we all managed to come up with something." Shadow said.
"Come on Shadow-San. Y'still know this is a kitchen? Lay them off for a bit, even if the quality isn't as good compared our foods.
"Hmph! Barbarian." Shadow jokingly said. Yang looked around as Manic drank the gravy.
"I am the most unlucky gal in this whole house..." She said in defeat and hunger.

"Hello? Guys? Oooh! Something sure smells good. Anyone?" Mercury said as he knocked on the door.
Main Room
Everyone left impressively stuffed
"Ah... That was certainly a feast... I'm impressed i eaten that much..." Makoto said. Yang's stomach started growling.
"Guys... I need to come clean! I can't do this anymore! I'm starving!"
"If you would've done that near the end of the 2000 word count ago, you would've eaten all that food."
"Don't you dare be that smart." Yang said as her sister giggled.
The basement
"Th-Th-Th-Theres gotta be a-a-a he-heater down here!" Mercury then spotted the heater. Sprinting towards it because of how cold he is. "How do i turn this thing on?"
Main Room
"We wish a you Merry Christmas, We wish a you Merry Christmas, We wish a you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!" Yang spotted her Dad singing and humming while cleaning the dishes before building the courage to tell him the truth.
"Heya... Dad?"
"What is it my little dragon?"
"Well... uh? Mmm... To tell you the truth, I've been-" An explosion and scream was heard.
Twing!
Everyone stood far from where the hole was centered. Both Yang and Taiyang went to see what had happened.
"AH! THE HOUSE" He screamed.
"Oh my gosh!"
"Oh geez, the insurance company is gonna love this." Qrow sarcastically said. Yang turned around with red in her eyes and her body heating up before looking at the villains.
"YOU!"
"What?! What did we do?!"
"You just couldn't help yourself! Coming into our home as if nothing has happened during the adventures we had to go through and then you try to blow up us up as soon as we let our guard down!"
"You got all wrong!? We didn't do anything?! Honest!"
"LIARS! I WANT YOU OUT! OUT!" The huntress grabbed the villains and threw them out of the house. "OUT!" She slammed the door hard, it almost broke.
"Bloody Oum Eggman? What's her deal?"
"I don't know but she'll pay for this. We'll get our revenge... They won't know what we'll do next year." Eggman said as Neo held up a sign saying "Wow. What a *"
"Yang? Sweetie? Is something wrong dear?"
"Oh I don't know other than THERE'S A HOLE IN OUR HOUSE!"
"We could always stay at the motels near at Vale while the house gets repaired."
"No! I don't want to go anywhere else! That's why i played sick!"
"What do you mean?" Weiss asked.
"I faked being sick so i can be alone this Christmas and watch a dumb TV show. I didn't want to tell you i didn't feel like going because I know what Christmas means to you and i didn't become like Mom." Yang finally told the truth. She felt like she had brought shame to herself.
"I think you underestimate me Yang." Taiyang puts his hands on Yang's shoulder. "I can be very understanding. If you didn't want to come, you should've told me. Mrs. Hedgehog did told me she had this experience before with her Son."
"Wait a minute not only I could've done this in the first place but also figured it out as well."
"I'd rather have you not come and be happy, rather than be there and be unhappy like your mother." He said before giving maddening disgusted look just mentioning her. "Who shall remain nameless."
Manic snaps her fingers. "Her name is Raven." Ruby rolled her eyes.
"So pops... Do you forgive me?" Yang was given a hug.
"Of course i do but you still lied to me aaaand everyone." Yang looked at her sister, uncle and her many friends that were invited. Sonic gave her a "This could've been avoided" look
"Ehehehe..."
"You won't be grounded but your punishment will to spend Christmas with Mrs. Hedgehog's house."
"It's a deal."
"And you gotta wash the dishes."
"Without a water heater?!"
Sometime later
"Bye Mr. Xiao Long!"
"See ya guys later in the next get together!"
"Bye Bye!"
"See you nieces later."
"Goodbye guys!"
"We'll see you soon!"
"Hehe... not really?" Yang, Ruby and Taiyang waved goodbye at everyone. Sonic, Sonia, Manic, Aleena and Tails popped out a warp ring and went straight towards Station Square.
"It was such a nice Christmas... with a few hiccups here and there." Sonic said. "You'd think this will be the last time Yang pull this stunt again?"
"Of course! Like what Yang's father, she should've told him she didn't want to come."
"Eh. I bet she'll now better appreciation for the holidays." Sonia commented.
"I wonder where Raven is. I want to know if his legs were just metal or if he simply wore leg armor."
"Who's Raven?" Sonic gave a "I don't know" look at Tails' question.
This story has gone far enough as we speak even though it's the usually 4K word count I've done before. I had to sleep as little as three to four hours, just so i can finish this on time. So let's just pretend Mercury got mauled by a bear and head to the credits, shall we?
