The fates had Kratos trapped in their clutches. But the goddess of love had other intentions. Aphorite snatched Kratos away from the fates. She then brought him to her chambers and chained him up. It was then that Kratos finally woke up.

"Wakey Wakey you naughty boy", Aphorite laughed.

"Please no more. Oh it's you", Kratos said as he saw Aphorite standing over him.

Kratos looked around and realized that he was no longer in the fates temple.

"Have no fear Kratos. I wish to help you stop Zeus", Aphorite explained.

"But why do you want to help me", Kratos asked.

"Because Zeus has become a monster and he wishes to destroy mankind. How am I to love without any men around? We will destroy Zeus together then we will be free. But Kratos I must ask you this before I release you from your bonds", Aphorite said as Kratos just stared at her with a blank expression.

"Promise me that you will marry me when this is over. I can help you Kratos I can make the visions fade away through my love and care for you", Aphorite said as she ran her hands over Kratos' chest.

"You will lend me aid because you wish to be with me", Kratos asked with a confused look.

"Yes and because I don't wish for Mankind to die under Zeus' madness", Aphorite explained.

Kratos nodded at her in response.

"I promise", Kratos said as she released him from his chains.

They teamed up and slaughtered all of the gods who would not join them. Eventually they had no choice but to kill the titans as well. A few hours later Zeus finally fell at the hands of Kratos. Athena wanted Kratos to restore her power but Kratos thought that perhaps humanity was better off without her influence as he impaled himself and released that power to man. Athena disappeared angry at her brother for not listening to her. Aphorite carried Kratos off of mount Olympus and disappeared eventually rumors had indicated that they retired in Midgard the lands of the nords. But Odin did not take kindly to Kratos' presence. He sent Baldur to take care of him. But Kratos refused to leave. Aphorite eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Aturus. But Baldur refused to back down as he killed Aphorite and Kratos hunted him down. Eventually Baldur died at the hands of Kratos but at a price. When Thor knocked on Kratos' door.

"Who are you", Kratos asked the stranger.

"I am the father of the sons you murdered. I am Thor God of thunder and son of Odin", Thor yelled as he grabbed his hammer.

"You will die for your sins Kratos", Thor said as he charged at Kratos.

But that is another story.

To be continued in Ragnoroak.
