Chapter 4: Claris & Elliot's Dreams
That evening in the alleyway, Sylvia and her friends are talking about their sleepover plans with Elliot & Claris.
"Okay friends, here's what we're gonna do. Me and Dana are gonna visit Claris for the night, while you boys hang out with Elliot at his apartment," Sylvia explained her plan.
"About the sleepover?" Steve asks.
"Exactly! That'll way, our friends won't have to be sad anymore," Dana said.
"Right, they'll be happy again!" David said.
"Yes, so if you'll excuse for one minute!"
Sylvia pulled out her magic box from her pocket and opens it, five sleeping bags flew out of the chest and the kids grabbed it.
"Sounds like a plan," Tony said.
"Yeah, a terrific idea!" Dana said.
"Okay, you boys find Elliot's apartment while we search for Claris' home to have fun."
"Okay Sylvia!"
"Whatever you say!"
They go into different directions and began to visit their friends.
Moments later, Tony and his friends had arrived at Elliot's apartment.
"Is this the place where she told us to go there?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, but this is apart of Sylvia's plan. So follow my lead!" Tony said to them.
"Okay."
In his room, Elliot was holding his basketball while thinking about the game tomorrow, when he heard a doorbell rang.
"Elliot! Can you get the door for me?" His mother called.
"Okay, mom." Elliot said, he walks over to the door and opens it, revealing his friends at the doorway. "Mom, it's my friends at the doorway!"
"Okay, tell your friends about what you want," his mother called again.
Elliot nodded his head. "Alright. So Tony, what do you want?"
"We just wanna come visit you for the night," said Tony.
"Yeah. Because you said the we wanted to come visit you." Steve said.
"Oh, okay. They said they wanna come over to our apartment for the night!" Elliot calls out to his mother again.
"Oh, that's okay," his mother called out again.
"Elliot, we also have our sleeping bags." David said.
"So we can sleep in your living room." Steve said "Wow, that's amazing. I didn't know I could invite my friends for sleepover or stayed at my apartment for the night." Elliot said.
"Yeah, it's gonna be fun!" Tony said.
"You said it. Come on, I'll show you my room."
Elliot lets his friends inside of his apartment and walks into his room.
Meanwhile, the girls had arrived at Claris' two-story household.
"You sure we're gonna do this?" Dana asks.
"Yes, we're gonna visit our friend. Just follow my lead, okay?" Sylvia asks.
Sylvia touches the doorbell and it rang.
Claris was humming to her song when she heard a doorbell rang.
"I'll get it!" Claris said, she walks over to the door and opens it, seeing Sylvia and Dana at the doorway.
"Oh! Sylvia! Dana! Hi! I didn't know if you can visit me," said Claris.
"Well actually, me and Sylvia wanted to spend the night with you." Dana said to their friend.
"Dad! It's my friends, and they wanted to come visit me for the night! Is it okay?" Claris asks to her father.
"Oh, that's okay. They can visit us for the night. As long as you and your friends are having a sleepover. That'll be fun," her father said.
"Great! Thanks. You heard my father, he said we're gonna have a sleepover!" Claris told her friends.
"Wow, we're excited too!" Dana said.
"Come on in!" Claris said.
They walked into her household and the girls began to whisper.
"Sylvia, I think our plan worked!" Dana whispered to her.
"Yeah, I told you my plan about visiting our friend to come over will work." Sylvia whispered back.
"I know, but what about our friends? Do you think they're visiting their friend, Elliot?"
"Yeah, but I wonder what they're doing now?"
"I had no idea."
"Can I give you girls a tour of my room?" Claris asked her friends.
"Sure, we like too!" Sylvia said.
"Okay, follow me."
Sylvia & Dana followed Claris into her room and toured around.
Back at his apartment, Elliot and his friends had baloney sandwiches for supper time, for their bodies to get healthy.
At Claris' house, they had spaghetti & meatball for supper, Sylvia and Dana had troubles getting the meatball.
After supper, Elliot and the boys played games like Yahtzee, while Claris and the girls played Boggle.
After they played games, Elliot told the boys about his basketball skills, while Claris told the girls about her singing impressions.
When it's time to go to sleep, Tony and the boys changed into their nights clothes after they've brushed their teeth.
"What do you think of my new pajamas?" Steve asks, wearing his purple pajamas.
"I think it's good on you, I'm also wearing my new ones!" David said, wearing his yellow pajamas.
"I think it's all settle in for the night." Tony said, wearing his light-blue pajamas.
Elliot comes out of his room, wearing his blue pajamas and walks up to them.
"We had fun, didn't we guys?" Elliot said.
"Yeah, baloney sandwiches and playing Yahtzee!" Steve said.
"And thanks for showing us your room." David said.
"You're welcome." Elliot replied.
"Hey Elliot, are you and your team are gonna challenge Roger and his teammates tomorrow?" David asks.
Elliot look down and said with a sigh. "Yeah, but what if I'm not brave enough?"
"You'll get use to it." Tony said with a smile. "Besides, we're still friends."
Steve patted him on his back. "Yeah, you and your team can do it!"
"Thanks, guys." Elliot said.
"Our pleasure. Wanna come sleep with us?" David asks him.
"Sorry. But I have to sleep in my room instead." Elliot replied, Tony and the boys looked at each other.
"Okay. If you need anything, we'll be right here." Tony said.
"Alright, goodnight boys!" Elliot said.
"Goodnight, Elliot!" They said.
Elliot went to his room and the boys got into their sleeping bags.
"I can't believe we're sleeping at his apartment." Steve said.
"Yeah, we're definitely gonna sleep." David told him.
"This is like sleeping in our tent before we take a nap!"
"Yeah, I guess our plan worked, right Tony?"
Tony looks at them, "Oh yeah, we cheered our friend up."
"Yeah, but what about Sylvia & Dana?" David asks.
"They'll be okay. But once we go to sleep, we'll have plenty of dreams."
"Mmhmm, but what can we do now?"
"Well, when you're fast asleep, you'll visit the island of dreams."
"The island of dreams?" Steve and David asks.
"Yeah, it's just like my mother used to sang that song when I was baby." Tony explained.
"Can you tell us about it?" Steve asks.
"Yes, but can you give me just a minute?"
The boys nodded as he walked over to the window and looked at the stars.
At Claris' home, Sylvia and Dana placed their sleeping bags on the floor.
"Well, the sleeping bags are now in their right places!" Dana said.
"Yeah, now it's a perfect time to get some rest." Sylvia said.
Claris came in with her pajamas on and sits down with them.
"You girls had fun?" Claris asks.
"Yes we did, we had spaghetti and played Boggle!"
"And telling us about your singing impressions!"
Claris looks down and sighed. "Yeah, but I think I can't audition tomorrow."
"Why not?" They asked.
Claris looked at them. "Because, what if they're gonna laugh at me when I was on stage?"
"Don't worry, Claris. Me and Sylvia will be there for you." Dana replied, patting her back.
"Yeah, you won't get stage fright!" Sylvia said.
"You'll get the audition for Twin Dreams, no matter what."
"Thanks, guys." Claris said to her friends.
"You can always count on me and Dana." Sylvia said, hugging her.
"Claris, are you gonna sleep with us?" Dana asks.
"No thanks, I have to go to bed and get some shuteye." Claris replied.
"Alright."
"If you need us, we'll be right here in the living room."
"Okay, goodnight friends."
"Goodnight."
Claris went upstairs to her room as Sylvia and Dana got into their sleeping bags.
"Sylvia, your plan worked!" Dana said to her.
"Yes I did!" Sylvia replied.
"Claris had been cheered all up!"
"Of course, now we can have our peaceful sleep. If we want to go to the island of my dreams."
"The island of your dreams?"
"Yeah. It's like when you go to sleep, you'll find yourself on the island of dreams."
"Can you tell me about it?"
"Sure. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna look at the stars above."
Sylvia got out of her sleeping bag and walks over to the window to see the stars in the night sky.
Sylvia:
Hush now all you children and head the cool night sounds The time is surely later than it seems Be thankful for the time You can slow your body down And take it to the island of your dreams.

At Elliot's apartment, Tony was still looking at the stars as David and Steve looks at him.
Tony:
And if you have a problem You'd just as soon pass by
Tomorrow will be soon enough to care
Sometimes that's the answer
No need to wonder why
There is peace upon your island waiting there.
Tomorrow you'll be ready
To give another try But for now, there is peace
On the island of your dreams—your dreams.
Elliot peeks out from the room to see Tony and his friends.
Back at her house, Claris overheard Sylvia's song from her room.
Dana, Steve & David:
Sleep, sleep, sleep sleep…
Claris:
And now the day is over Your body's craving rest
The sun has done its stinging for the day.
Elliot:
Be proud you're one day older
You've stood up to the test
But now it's time for dreaming…
Claris:
…sail away
Elliot and Claris had came over to Sylvia & Tony.
Elliot & Claris:
Give your weary body A little peace and rest…
Sylvia and Tony went back into their bags as their friends cuddled in.
Elliot:
…and sail away
Claris:
To the island of your dreams—of your dreams.
Elliot & Claris:
To the island of your dreams, sail away.
Sylvia & Tony:
Sail away…
Dana, Steve & David:
Sail away…
Elliot & Claris:
To the island of your dreams, sail away.
Sylvia & Dana fell asleep as Claris looks at them and heads back into her room.
"Goodnight, fellas." Claris whispered.
Tony and the boys started to sleep as Elliot looks at him.
"Goodnight, you guys." Elliot whispered as he tiptoed back into his room.
Later, Claris went to bed and looks at the Seeds Tower.
"I hope I can get the audition for Twin Dreams," she thought.
She lays down on her bed and begins to fell sleep.
While she was sleep, Claris began to dream as she began to hum.
In her dream, she was in the park while singing in front of the tree. She looks down at her music sheets and the invitations below her feet.
"Hmm, so excited to audition at the Seeds Tower, better keep practicing!" Claris said.
As Claris was about to continue singing, the lights go out and finds herself in a darkened place.
"Huh? What happened to the lights?" she asks.
Suddenly, a spotlight shines down at her, making her winced as she covers her eyes with her hand.
"What the?" she thought.
"Oh, mrs Sinclair," a voice said.
She opened her eyes and looks at the judges and a spotlight shines down at the microphone.
Claris realized that she was on stage, she looks over to the judges.
The first judge scuffed, the second judges tapped his pencil, and the third judge was falling asleep.
"Oh, okay." Claris smiled, she closed her eyes and clutches her fists.
Just then, the first judge began to laugh and turns into a ghost-like creature.
The second and third judge also turned into darkness creatures and begins to laugh out loud.
Claris stood back in fright. "I can't do it! Get away from me!"
Claris turned and runs away from the laughing creatures.
Claris finds herself in a colorful pathway as she continued running and holds back her tears when suddenly, she looked up and notices that there was a shining light in front of her.
"Woah, what is that?" Claris thought.
She walks over to the bright-light and everything flashed.
Back at Elliot's apartment, Elliot placed his basketball onto the waistband and hops into bed, then looks at the tower from his window.
"Someday, one of these days, I'll beat Roger and his team for a champion of the world," he thought.
He lay down and begins to fall asleep.
While he was sleeping, Elliot began to dream as the basketball begins to wobble and falls out, then bounces away.
In his dream, he was playing basketball with Dylan and Jason at the basketball court. Elliot bounces the ball as he began to ran for the hoop as Jason started to block him.
"Oh no you don't!" Elliot said as he dodged him.
"Woah!" Jason said.
He jumps high and slams the ball down the hoop, then land on his feet.
"Way to go!" Dylan said.
"Nice shot!" Jason called out.
Elliot then runs off and looks at his friends "Great job, guys!" Elliot said, giving them a thumbs up.
"Yeah!" Jason said, giving him a thumbs up.
"Catch!" Dylan said, he throws the ball at Elliot.
Elliot jumps and catches the ball with his hands. Suddenly, he heard someone clearing his throat.
He looks up and saw Roger Wilkeah and his teammates, looking at him.
"What the? Roger?" Elliot asks.
"Allow me to do… this!" Roger said.
He slams the ball down from Elliot's hands, then he and his team throws the ball, one by one.
Elliot was surprised.
Roger ran towards the hoop and jumps, then slams the ball down the hoop.
Elliot looks concerned.
"How did he do that?" Elliot thought to himself.
Roger and his gang laughed as throws the ball at Elliot.
The ball hit Elliot's body and suddenly, the ball sank into the floor and the courtyard turned into darkness.
"Huh?" Elliot thought.
He turned and saw Roger's teammates turned into ghost-like creature and begins to laugh.
"WOAH!" Elliot screamed in fright, then runs off.
Elliot finds himself in a technicolor pathway as the creatures fly around him.
Elliot continues to run when suddenly, he notices that there was a bright-light in front of him.
"Hey! A shining light!" Elliot said, happily.
He began to run towards the light as he spread his arms out, then everything turns bright.
