Holotape R-1.02
Learned more about Remnant. Learned of its ways to defend itself. The first being Aura. "The manifestation of your soul" it was called. Some kind of force field tied to your life force. Can heal injuries and offer protection from minor attacks, much like armor. As it was explained to me, I remembered the Courier. How she seemed to recover from broken bones, gunshots, and explosions if given some time to rest. Could there be a correlation? I doubt I'll ever get the chance to ask.
Also met with Professor Peach. Combined my Old Glory with my rifle. Will take a while to learn it again, but now I don't have to worry about switching. Ran through some drills with the other Hunters. Impressed them with my combat ability. Heh, not that surprising in my opinion.
Also spoke with Oobleck. A gatherer of history. Spoke with him for hours, learning the history of the world, of humans and faunus.
Faunus, an odd combination of human and animal. Theirs was a history of discrimination and fighting for their rights. Would have carved out an empire in the Wasteland. Don't suppose it matters now though.
All the while, saw Ozpin watching, smiling like the Fox. Don't trust it, but don't have a choice.
