Phase 43: Wifey Duties Pt 3
The two women reached the bottom of the labs to see it was a mess with outbreaks of Ooze and bioweapons spread far and wide see a bunch of Abyss Gamma 1s and 2s greeted them with them unleashing bullets and grenades to crave a path out of there.
She lobs a grenade into the big mouth of the Gamma 2 to see it explode with blood and guts across the white walls. "Outbreak spreading, Protection protocol enabled," a computer voice said as doors sealed off the hallways.
"Gee, this is going to be harder to deal with all these heavy doors," Elza said as she swept up the Gamma 1s with her carbine to tear into their bodies to lay them flat on the floor.
"We can't get further this way, I bet we can find something useful here to bust this stuff," Rachel said.
"Seems like you are the deepest parts of my complex. I can't wait to meet you firsthand Rachel. The Overseer is watching very carefully," Linda said on the loudspeaker with the buzz of the alert system talking about the ongoing outbreak of bioweapons within the labs.
"I rather not," Rachel said as they went the other way trying to find something useful to see more Abyss Gamma 1s eating the lab staff to swallow them whole in their big frog mouths.
"Time to take care of these froggers," Elza said as she fired her M8A2C to burst into the bodies of the humanoid frogs. They leap towards her to dodge their incoming attacks to get hit by a tackle wanting to swallow her whole. "Oh no you don't," Elza pulls out her FN57 to cut into its head to kill it. She switches to her carbine to fire at the bioweapons.
Rachel lobs a grenade to take out a group of Gamma 1s to flop dead on the floor. She backs away as she stabs and shoots incoming froggers with her Desert Eagle and Tanto.
She punches a Gamma 1 to send it flying across the room to crash onto a wall leaving behind a dent killing it on impact. Rachel kicks the Gamma 1 into a wall to hear its spine break on impact.
"Gee, that was nuts," Elza said as they went over to see there was a sealed-off door which has the leakage of T-Abyss in the hallways in the form of a red mist. "Oh, that is not good," she said.
"I am immune, I will go inside and see if I can find anything useful," Rachel said.
"Cool, be safe in there," Elza said as Rahcel went through the door to be hit with the red mist but it didn't affect her at all.
"Good, that woman wasn't just making crap up," Rachel went into the infected hallways to see a bunch of researchers becoming Ooze trying to reach for her to suck her blood with their long fleshy suckers. "No blood for you," she said using her M8A2 to pepper them with 6.8 mm rounds to tear holes into their rotting bodies and break their limbs apart.
She kicks an Ooze to knock it into a wall with her shooting bullets into its skull killing it swiftly.
"How is it in there?" Elza asked on the radio.
"Lots of rotting flesh and a bad fishy smell," Rachel said as she lobbed a grenade to blast apart Oozes and Pincers. She switches to a KSG-12 shotgun to shoot off the heads and limbs of nearby Oozes.
"Seems like it. Hopefully, you find something good in there," Elza said to cut off the radio. Rachel unleashes rounds to hear her gun clicking. She takes out the dual mags and replaces them with a fresh one to unload her bullets into the incoming enemies.
She tosses a Riot Grenade to emit sticky goo to slow down their movements to easily placed headshots taking them out. "Gee, they are nothing more than pawns to these people. Fits the Connections to a T," Rachel said as she felt passionate about stopping what was happening there.
She sees a door which is blocking her path. She grabs the bottom of it and lifts it with ease to see it's a storage room holding equipment and other gear. "I hope I find something useful here," she thought as an Ooze Brute slipped out of a vent to appear inside.
The bioweapon charges at Rachel as she jumps off the wall to avoid this to lob a shock grenade to give it a painful shock. She follows up with a frag round from her M320 to blast the back of the Brute.
She fires several shots at the monster and the monster grabs a crate and throws it at Rachel. She ducks under the thrown object as the bioweapon is running at Rachel. She fires several bullets into the skull of the Brute to see it flop onto the floor dying from the barrage of bullets.
"Let's see we can find something interesting in here," she said to find something very interesting. "Christmas came early. Hey Elza, I found a P.A.C. mech," she said on the radio.
"Cool, that will easily bust through those doors," Elza said as she could see the P.A.C. had two arm-mounted miniguns, a shoulder-mounted mini-missile launcher, and flamethrowers built into its feet.
"It's loaded and ready to go," she said as she began to turn on the mech to hear a familiar voice.
"Found you big sister," a Valkyrie Ooze pops out of a vent to greet her. "Why are you holding that gun, are you happy to see me?" she asked as Rachel lobbed a grenade to blast off her arm.
"Not really," Rachel said loading another grenade to see Rachel Ooze regrowing her lost limb with ease.
"That hurts, I going to have to show you how angry I am," the Valkyrie Ooze rushes at her with Rachel dodging her strikes to kick her into a wall.
"Gee, I found one of the Valkyrie Oozes. I need to get rid of her before I use the mech," Rachel said.
"Hurry up, I am seeing Ooze coming my way," Elza said as she used her carbine to put rapid shots into their skulls to see them melt into piles of grey goo.
"Stop moving," the Valkyrie Ooze unleashes waves of bone spikes. One of the spikes tears into her rifle making it useless to toss it to the side as she uses her Desert Eagle to hole into the monster woman but she easily heals her wounds. "You are hurting me, big sister," Valkyrie Ooze bounces off the walls to pounce on Rachel to make her drop her shotgun onto the floor.
Rachel Ooze stomps on the weapon to snap it in half with Rachel only having her pistol and magnum pistol. She grabs an acid grenade to toss it and hits the monster woman burning her body.
"Oh, it hurts so badly," the Valkyrie Ooze said as Rachel fired several shots into her head to be able to knock her out, She rushed to the PAC to unlock the back hatch to slip inside to be in a cockpit to encase the inside.
"Venting viruses from the cabin," the computer said as the cabin cleaned up the cockpit to clear it up. "Venting complete," the computer voice said as Rachel sat on the chair to see the cameras were online allowing her to see outside to see the Valkyrie Ooze get back up.
"Sister please," the Rachel Ooze gets torn apart but explosive rounds from the minigun arms turn her into a pile of gore.
"This is what I am talking about. E I got the P.A.C., I am heading back now," Rachel said.
"Good, having a mech on our side would come in handy for saving your future husband," Elza said as Rachel's PAC stomps on the corpse of the Rachel Ooze to bust through the door to see a lot of Oozes coming at her but she uses her minigun arms to tear through them like they were nothing to clear a path back to Elza.
"Goodness, this is one hell of a rush," Rachel said as Pincers, Arrowheads, and Brutes appeared trying to take her but the exploding rounds turned them into piles of flesh melting into goo. All the Oozes were destroyed to clear up a path back to her best friend.
She stomps onto the floor to unleash a wave of flames to burn all the Oozes in her path seeing them become burned goo. "Rip and tear," she said as she mowed down more Oozes to leave a wake of destruction behind her. She approaches the entrance to see Elza fighting a group of Hunters with Rachel using her miniguns to turn the Hunters into piles of gore.
"Well, we are in luck with a mech. Come on, let's save Jack," Elza said as Rachel led the way to tackle through the thick security door to bust it open to unleash hell onto her enemies.
"Watch out for those rocket turrets," Rachel said to warn her as Elza could see the turrets arming with her putting rounds into the turrets to put them down to protect Rachel's mech.
"We are on the final stretch now. Now or nothing," Elza said as Rachel contacted Jessica who was protecting the hanger from Shock Troopers and Dragonflies.
"Hey Jessica, what is your status?" Rachel asked.
"I am being treated to the red carpet treatment," Jessica said as she felt a bullet cut across her shoulder to see a few squads of Troopers equipped with ACRs and M8A2Cs. "Shit," she said as she tosses a shock grenade to disable drones while stunning soldiers to put precise shots into the skulls of the Undertakers.
She grabs a stack of C4 to toss it to airburst it to turn the Shock Troopers into mists of blood. She places several shots to take out Dragonflies to see them fall and crash. "Hold on tight, me and Elza are heading into the heart of the base," Rachel said.
"I will keep holding the line here," Jessica said as she fished off the group of Undertakers and drones. She grabs some auto-turrets to set them up in certain angles to better protect her position in the hanger. Sweepers show up in the hangar as the Hunter variants get wiped out by Jessica's hacked auto-turrets.
"Jessica seems to be holding down the fort in the hangar," Rachel said as she smashed through another security door to bust it wide open to press forward.
Elsewhere Three Valkyries are waiting around the area that is holding Jack hostage along with Shock Troopers and other units backing them up. "Seems like big sister is heading this way," the head Valkyrie said on the radio with Linda.
"She is impressing by the minute. I wish you were as capable as Rachel was," Linda said as she prepared to confront Rachel by holding onto a refined T-Abyss vial. "I will be the final line of defense for my complex," Linda said.
Back with Rachel and Elza who are in a long hallway with filled crates and platforms filled with bioweapons filling up the area.
"Time to sweep them up and tear them down," Rachel said as she stomped onto the floor to emit waves of flames to burn away enemies while shooting a hail of hot lead to chew up the crowds of bioweapons reducing them into piles of gore.
She locks onto several targets on the screen to fire the shoulder launcher to unleash loads of mini-missiles to pepper away the groupings of bioweapons. Elza is not too far away from the mech to give support to Rachel in putting down targets she missed.
"Oh no, Grenadiers with RPGs. Please take them out," Rachel said as Elza looked through the sights of her M8A2C to put accurate rounds into the RPG users. Despite the carbine's short barrel, it gives good precision allowing her to pick off the Undertakers with the RPGs in hand.
The lumbering mech is punching through the defenses to use all her weapons to great effect blowing their way deeper into the labs. She barely dodges a flying rocket as Elza picks off the grenadier. She launches waves of mini-missiles to destroy groups of grenadiers and bioweapons.
They find another security door to smash right through it as they see more rockets heading for Rachel all of them miss except for one hitting the shoulder launcher and destroying it. "Well, that sucks," she said as the launcher is disabled.
Elza is placing rounds onto the Grenadiers to drop them from sight as Rachel stomps onto the floor to unleash waves of flames to burn out all the bioweapons in their way. Another rocket hits the PAC to crack the pod with the screen going red showing it has been breached.
"This isn't going to last much longer," Rachel said as they approached the final security door to wipe out the remaining forces and busted through the door to see a huge area where Jack was held.
"So big sister is here. Your boyfriend is here but you have to go through us and our Shock Troopers," the lead Valkyrie said on the radio as Rachel got out of the hatch in the back. Her mech gets blown up by a rocket to see it reduced to bits.
"Well, it was fun while it lasted," Rachel said as she and Elza got behind cover to see Jack inside a cell in the middle of the vast room. "Oh baby, he is right there. I need to get him," Rachel said as she looked down at the ring he gave him to be there for him.
"Well time to knock down those rows of creeps," Elza grabs an M8A2 LSW to hand it over to Rachel. The machine gun has a Hybrid Scope, bipod grip, and a special suppressor along with a default 150-round double drum magazine inside.
"Time to drop them down like ducks at a shooting range," Rachel pops out of cover to begin laying down fire to begin picking off the Shock Troopers with two or three shots each. The Valkyries were impressed that their big sister was killing off the Undertakers at a rapid pace.
"She is amazing," one of the Rachel clones said as her precision and rapid reflexes were cutting down their squads of Undertakers.
"Time to take her in," the Valkyrie said as the trio split up with one of the Valkyrie who is a Tech Trooper to use her hacking gadget to control one of the drones to attack the duo.
"Hey, that does look good," Elza said as they spotted a four-legged heavily armored bipedal drone that stands 7 feet tall called a Land Assault Walker or L.A.W.
"More big stuff to deal with," Rachel said as the drone is equipped with a 50 caliber machine turret along with an automatic grenade launcher. "We are going to need an explosive to take it out," Rachel said as they spilled it up to not get hit by the grenades peppering their position.
"You will keep them busy; I will grab an RPG from one of the dead soldiers," Elza said as she moved away with two Valkyries that appeared equipped with ACRs.
"You are not getting near him," Valkyrie said.
"That is my line, I am going to marry that man and you will not stop me," Rachel said as she tosses an acid grenade to get one of the Valkyrie to hear her scream in plain for the burning goo to weaken her battle suit. She lines up her machine gun to let out tons of rounds into the Valkyrie's body until she drops from too much lead tearing up her body into red paste.
"Shit," the other Valkyrie takes covers to toss a shock grenade with Rachel avoiding the toss. "Get here and cover me," the Valkyrie ordered the Tech Troopers to command the LAW to open fire on Rachel. She begins to run away from the barrages of bullets and grenades destroying sections of the area.
"I need to find something," Elza said as she looked around the boxes to find a SMAW launcher. "Oh, even better," she said as she took aim and fired on the big drone. The machine detects the rocket and uses APS (Active Protection System) to use a burst of air to strike the rocket in mid-air to set it up to explode without hurting the drone.
"Well shit, it has an APS. The PAC models on this island don't have one. You need to use a shock grenade to disable it and nail it with a rocket," Rachel said as she saw the Valkyrie shooting back at her. She rolls away from the barrage of bullets with several hitting her suit to block it.
"Got it," Elza said as she tossed a shock grenade to strike the big drone to stun it and disable it. "Got you now," she reloads the launcher and fires the SMAW to destroy the four-legged machine.
"Damn it, they knocked out my LAW," the Tech Trooper said on the radio to pull out her CPW 5.7 machine pistol to defend herself. Elza can see the drone operator aiming her rocket at the woman.
"Oh no you don't," Elza launches another rocket to strike the Tech Trooper to vaporize her into red mist.
"Sister no," the last Valkyrie said to be distracted with Rachel rushing in and punching the Valkyrie in the face to knock her onto the floor. She rips off the helmet and puts a few shots from her Desert Eagle into her face instantly killing her to clear out the area.
"Baby, I am here," Rachel went over to the cage to see her boyfriend was roughed up but still alive. Her heart has a wave of relief wash over it as she rips up the door with her super strength to greet him with a big hug.
"Rachel, you came for me," Jack said to sport a big smile to this golden-haired warrior goddess.
"Of course, I need to save my future husband. Well, Elza. I need you to take him to the hangar where Jessica is holding the fort. I need to finish off Linda and destroy this place," Rachel said as she kissed Jack on the lips.
"Go get them, babe," Jack said.
"Thanks," she said as Elza led Jack away with Rachel going through the door which leads to the command center the heart of the complex.
"So, you managed to get this far. Killing all the horrors my lab can throw at you," Linda said on the loudspeaker.
"You are cornered. I got you where I want you," Rachel said as she cocks her machine gun.
"Don't be so cocky, I got a trick left to deal with you," Linda said to cut off the line. She takes the veil of T-Abyss and sticks it into her chest making her mutant into a bioweapon. "I have the genetic mark which will allow me to keep my mind. I will take what is my," Linda said as her body became twisted and changing.
Jessica is checking the Mi-24 Hind to see if everything is working well as there is a pile of bodies with a mix of Undertakers, Bioweapons, and Drones scattered onto the floor.
"Yo, is that working?" Elza asked as Jessica looked over to see the duo had come but not Jessica.
"Yes, it will be enough to take us to the US military base in Alaska," Jessica said.
"Good to know you did the right thing," Jack said.
"Yep, I am going to be an agent once we get out of here," Jessica said as she was still thinking but Rachel. "Don't die on me now blondie, still want to be friends," she thought wishing Rachel luck.
Back with Rachel to be in an aquatic testing chamber which is right before the command center. "Welcome to the aquatic testing chamber. I hope you are for a good swim," Linda emits an echoing boom from her voice to emerge from the water to let out a powerful sound blast that knocks Rachel into a wall.
Rachel can see Linda has become a mermaid-like creature with her skin becoming scales and her hair looking seaweed-like. "Goodness, what have you done to yourself?" Rachel asked.
"Just like you, I have genetic marks that allow me to take in the benefits of the viruses without becoming a mindless monster. What do you think, do I look beautiful?" Linda asked.
"Oh, you look like Ariel's demonic cousin," Rachel joked.
"I will not be mocked by your lack of vision. The Overseer has big plans to change this world and I will do what I can to help her make this a reality," Linda said as she jumped into the huge pool of water.
"Oh boy. She got sonic attacks and she can swim with a big tail. I don't think getting close would be good but if I can destroy her tail. She would be useless," she thought as she raised her M8A2 LSW to begin the battle.
Linda leaps out of the water to let out a blast of noise but Rachel rolls away from this strong sound wave. She catches her with a few shots to her chest as she goes back into the water.
She sees a bunch of crates hanging from the ceiling above the waters with Linda leaping on top of a hanging crate to leap into another crate to send it flying toward Rachel. She ducks under the flying box to smash into a wall leaving a dent behind.
"Keep up blondie, I need to keep your body in one piece," Linda leaps into the water again.
"I need to flush her out," Rachel could see a warm battery that could shock the water and force Linda out of the opening. She goes over and shoves it into the water to shoot it beginning to zap the water.
"Fuck, curse you," Linda said as she leaps onto a crate with Rachel putting rounds into the twisted mermaid. "Damn it, that stings," she said as she is rolling around dodging her bullets. She leaps above to be behind a higher crate and uses her powerful tail to send the shipping container towards Rachel.
Rachels above the falling crate and fires her machine gun to hit Linda who begins to become sluggish. "Got her, only a matter of time," Rachel said as she dropped another battery to shoot it and shock the water.
"Damn it," Linda said to leap onto a crate but Rachel shoots the chain holding it and letting it fall onto the water. "You are more clever than I thought," Linda said as she was shocked by the battery. In a last-ditch effort to take out Rachel to leap towards her trying to drag her into the water to be shocked as well.
"Get off me," Rachel said as she delivered a powerful kick into the wall. She pulls out her dagger to sever the fin from the tail.
"No!" Linda screamed with blood oozing from her wounded fishtail. She fires several shots to cut into the mutant Linda to send her back into the water to be fried to a crisp until she can't move anymore.
"Finally, it's over for this place," she said to sling the machine gun on her back to go into the commander center to see the Overseer waiting for her on the screen.
"So, you managed to conquer everything within this island. You are a truly gifted person, someone worthy of being a part of my new world," the woman said as Rachel was dumbfounded by who the Overseer was.
"This is impossible. You are Alex Wesker, the true leader of the Connections," Rachel said as the woman was ginning on the screen.
"In the flesh missy. Do you like the gift you are given, it's only a taste of what kind of world I want to make. Only the gifted will survive," Alex said.
"How did you survive?" Rachel asked.
"Well through a new virus I developed I managed to copy my mind into a young girl. The old me died on that Russian island but the new me survived. Thankfully I had backup data that allowed me to know my old history to give rise to a new and improved Alex Wesker. I got big plans for my world without nations, culture, or region holding back my new humanity made in my design," Alex said.
"You will not get away with this," Rachel said as Alex laughed at this.
"Don't be so naïve. I have waiting for a decade for this moment. All my pieces are in play and all I am doing is letting it happen. We hope you enjoy the fireworks," Alex said as she remotely activated the self-destruction with the nuclear reactor becoming overloaded.
"Oh crap, there is enough power to wipe out the whole island. No evidence left before," Rachel said seeing there about an hour before everything was destroyed in a nuclear fire. Rachel makes a run for it at full speed. "Guys, warm up the copper. The place is going to explode," Rachel said as she got into an elevator with the labs beginning to fall apart.
"Yeah, we did. It is hot and ready to go. Seems like you managed to take this mission," Jessica said as she was in the pilot seat of the Hind.
"I just found out Alex Wesker is still alive," Rachel said as everyone was shocked by this.
"You got to be fucking with me. Alex Wesker is the Overseer of the Connections. This went from 10 to 100 very fast," Elza said.
"How is she alive, she was made dead over a decade ago," Jack said.
"Well, she is alive now. We need to get back and tell everyone," Rachel said as she reached the hanger to see the hind ready to take off. She hops inside to close the door. "Time to get out of here," Rachel said.
"You got it," Jessica lifts off and flies out of the hanger door to be outside to fly out of range from the blast radius. Soon enough they see a big nuclear explosion that rocked the whole area with the island turned into a wasteland killing everything around it.
"That is a big firework," Jack said as Rachel sat beside her future husband to lay her head on his shoulder. "Finally, mission complete," Jack said.
"Yep, I need a long bath when we get home in Florida," Rachel said.
"I will turn myself in and give out information to the government. Hopefully, I can join the DSO," Jessica said.
"We will put a good word with Miss Graham for you to be in the group," Rachel said as she looked out the window to be worried about Alex Wesker on the rise again. "Another Wesker, this is going to be tougher than before," Rachel said as they escaped the island of Ion to head for the Alaskan US base nearby to report their mission was a success.
Elsewhere Alex Wesker has suffered a loss from the lab complex being destroyed on Ion but it will not slow her down. "Time to shift attention to the US. The New Dawn will increase their attacks to prepare for the final stage of my plan. They are such useful idiots to keep America distracted," Alex said with a devilish smirk looking over her plans with this fight for the world is about to begin.
A/N: This is the end of the first storyline and now we are going into the second storyline.
