The Great Twilight and Rean's been capture by Osborne and the Gnomes. Class VII, old and new, join by everyone throughout the world begin their plan to stop Osborne, and the Great Twilight. With war on the horizon that leads to the end of the world, they seek answers, and plan to rescue Rean in the progress. Will they save the world before the war or darkness consume all?

17. Need answers

Dateline August 23 1206 Wednesdays

Rean let out a groan as he slowly woke up and he rose up in bed and looked around. "Where am I?" He wondered, noticing his Pokemon were with him asleep, and then looked out the window. "Oh, right... This must be Emma's hometown." Then he heard Altina's groan as he looked down and see Altina sleeping on the bed sheet.

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Always by your side)

"Altina... Guess I've kept her pretty worried along with my Pokemon all this time." Rean let out a warm smile. "Guess they must have fallen asleep watching over me."

The door knock. "Instructor Rean?" A voice asked as the door opened, revealing to be Juna, Kurt, Musse, Venti, and Ash by the door while Ash lean his back on the door.

"Oh... Morning everyone. Sorry... Looks like I overslept a bit. And we have so much to talk about, too."

"Thank goodness!" Juna cheered as they approached him. "I was almost afraid you'd never wake up!"

"Y-You guys."

"She's not the only one. We've all been ill at ease." Kurt replied "Although it's thanks to so many that we escape with ease to make it to Eyrn, you were out for nearly an entire day."

"We've all been taking turns waiting ever faithfully by your bedside. Old and new Class VII alike." Musse added "And I for one relish the opportunity to gaze longingly at your sweet, sleeping face... like a vision into my future."

"Really, Musse? I mean, really?" Juna sighed

"Heehee. She certainly doesn't hold back." Venti chuckled

"Hah. Floozies gonna flooze." Ash replied "Anyway, stop coding him, already. The guy's a grown-ass man."

"So you say, but you were just as eager as the rest of us to stand watch." Kurt remark

"Oh yeah. I thought for sure you'd just ditch, going on and on about how much you 'don't care.' " Juna smirked

"Oh, it was just so sweet... He sat right by your side, the very picture of concern." Musse added

"Let's not forget and I quote 'Hurry up and wake up, Instructor Rean.' Venti smirked

"L-Like hell I did!" Ash exclaimed. "Quit making shit up, ya damn snitches!"

Rean let out a soft chuckle "It's good to have you back with us, Ash. I wasn't sure if you were okay, let alone if I'd ever see you again. Class VII just wouldn't be the same without you."

"Well... What can I say? Shit happens. 'Sides, I wasn't the one chained up in a workshop. Compared to you, I've had it easy."

"Haha... I suppose so. And Musse... I know this puts you in a difficult spot, but either way... Thank you for coming back. You still have your own moves to play. I understand that. But for now, I'm glad you've decided to be here with us."

"As am I." Musse smiled. "Though frankly, even I'm not quite sure how it happened. I suppose I have no choice but to stay right at your side until I found out."

"Glad to hear it."

Juna sighed "There she goes again"

"Some things never change, huh?" Venti asked with a chuckled. "But it wouldn't be the same with our little sweet devil."

"As for you three, Juna... Kurt... Venti..." Rean let out a warm smile "It seems you spared no effort coming to my aid. I can't thank you enough for that."

"Oh." Juna smiled

"Instructor..." Kurt paused

"Aww." Venti smiled

"Well, I mean, we kinda owed you, y'know?"Juna replied. "You've come to our rescue of times. It's only right we return the favor."

"If there's one thing you've taught us, it's to think and act for ourselves." Kurt added

"And having the opportunity to put those lessons into practice was an experience unlike any other." Venti wink.

"But even then, we owe the bulk of our success to the old Class VII, and everyone else had our backs."

"Still... Thank you all the same." Rean smiled

And then Altina begin to wake up.

"Allie?" Juna asked as Kurt chuckled.

"Looks who's awake." Venti smiled

"Rise and shine, sleepy bunny." Ash said

Altina rub her eyes and then she see her classmates. "Why is everyone here?" Then she turn to Rean is awake. "Oh..."

"Good morning, Altina." Rean smiled. "I can only imagine all the struggles and doubts you must've gone through... but you never stopped moving forward with everyone else. I'm proud of you. It's good to be back."

"Instructor Rean... I... I..." Altina then hug Rean

"Oh, right." Kurt said. "Seems we're all forgetting the most important part."

"Maybe it's a little unfair for us to steal the first chance, but nevertheless... Shall we?" Musse suggest.

"Yep." Venti nodded as Altina got up and stood with her classmates.

"Welcome back, Instructor Rean!" The new Class VII said.

"Really? You guys start without me?" A voice asked as they turn and see Levi pouting, folding his arm.

"Oops~ Busted." Musse giggled

"Apologize, Levi, we couldn't hold it in." Kurt said

Levi chuckled. "I can't blame you. Course, I'm not the only one." Levi turn to his left, as they see Rean's Pokemon waiting their turn. "Why don't you guys go first."

Then Goodra rush to Rean and hug him.

"Gooodraaaa!" Rean's Goodra cried with waterworks as Meowstic hop onto the bed and also hug.

"Meow, meow!" Rean's Meowstic cried as well

"Haha. Goodra, Meowstic. It's so great to see you again." Rean chuckled, letting out a warm smile as he petted their heads as he turn to Chiarzard, Greninja, and Decidueye. "Charizard, Greninja, Decidueye, I know you two aren't exactly the types who enjoy hug. But I'm so glad that you are okay. Thank you for helping me. I couldn't ask for great Pokemon partners."

"Ninja, Greninja." Rean's respond with a nod and behind it is a smile along with Decidueye, while Rean's Charizard responded with a nod with a low growl before turning around and letting out a small tears before quickly whipping it.

Goodra and Meowstic let go and then turn to Levi with a nod as he approach Rean and hug him as well.

"Welcome back, Partner." Levi said with a smile.

"Yeah. It's good to be back." Rean hug back. "I can't thank you enough for looking after our students. They have grown a lot under your care."

"Hehe. Well, I am the Class Assistant. But even if I weren't. I still look out for them. I'm so glad that we made it out okay. Even though things were unexpectedly in our favor from the beginning. Then again, we have a lot of brilliant minds."

"Haha. I can imagine." Rean chuckled as he and Levi let go of the hug.

"You must be starving. I'll go alert the others and fix you up a meal. You haven't even in a day."

"I guess I haven't thank you, Levi."

"Oh, can I help too?" Juna asked.

"I would like to help as well." Kurt said.

"Oh, but I would like to be of assistance too." Musse said.

"I should as well." Altina offered.

"Don't forget me." Venti said.

"All right, we'll all make something for Rean. After all, we want to show him how much we miss him through our cooking. A good cook filled with love is the best meal anyone could ask for." Levi smiled.

"Wait, hold up. You're not asking me to cook? Also who the hell said something that cheeky?" Ash asked.

"Oh, but you can't deny that, don't you Ash?" Kurt asked with a smug look on his face.

"After all, you did feed his Pokemon with a loving care, remember~" Musse giggled.

"And let's not forget-"

"Okay, stop with all that bullshit!" Ash yelled. "You know what, fine! I'll help out, but don't blame me for messing up the cooking!"

New Class VII begin to let out a comforting laugh.

"What's with the laugher coming here?" A voice asked as they turn and see Alisa. "Ah! Rean!" Alisa rush to him. "You're awake! You're finally awake!"

"Hey, Alisa." Rean smiled

"Alisa, can you watch over him for us? We're going to cook a meal for him." Levi asked.

"You don't need to ask. Oh! We need to get everyone else!" Alisa rush out the door. "Guys! Rean's awake!" Then she came back with Old Class VII along with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Ryoma, Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, Ragna, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Lucina, Chrom, Robin, Yoshi, Marth, Phantom Thieves, and Roselia.

"Oh Rean, it's so-a-good to see you again!" Mario cheered.

"Oh I'm so happy you're awake! Actually, no. We're all glad you're awake." Elliot cheered.

"Hey there guys. I'm sorry that I worried you." Rean chuckled.

"Not at all. We're just relief you're okay. How do you feel?" Gaius asked

"More or less the same. Though I imagine my current appearance surprise some of you."

"Yeah, what's up with the new hair color? Not to meant your eyes are red like... like a rose!" Ruby said. "Oh wait. Could it have something to do with your powers?"

"Most likely yes. As the Ultimate Sacrifice, it tainted his appearance for being swallow by the curse for so long." Emma nodded.

"And his mana appears to be unstable as well." Roselia added. "Although you regain your consciousness and you are in perfect health in body and mind and spirit, I'm afraid you don't have full control of your powers as well. It will randomly overwhelm you at some point."

"I see. As expected as much." Rean sighed.

"Lucky, we already prepare something to keep it stabilized while you are asleep. But first, you need to eat. You have been out for an entire day. I'm sure you have much to discuss with the others including your students, but that will have to wait until you're fed."

"I understand. In that case, thank you for taking care of my and everyone else, Rose." Rean said with a warm smile.

After Rean is fed...

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Now, Things to do)

"Now, put on these clothes." Roselia said as she hand it over a set of black clothes with boots and gloves.

"A set of black clothes?" Rean asked.

"There's a room you can use. Now be haste. I'll gather everyone else and have Emma and Celine fetch you." Roselia said as she left the room.

"Um... Okay." Rean said as he headed to an empty room where he took off the clothes he used in bed and then began to put up the new set of clothes Roselia had him.

Rean look into the mirror with his new appearance. As it noted, he has a white set of hair with red eyes. His new clothes that Roselia are set in black, including black boots.

"Well..." Rean look at himself. "I certainly look like a black swordsman... minute the hair and eyes." He said until he heard the door knock.

"Rean? You done yet?" Emma asked on the other side of the door.

"Yeah. I'm done." Rean answered as he approach the door and opened it, letting Emma and Celine back in her catform look at his appearance along with Emma's Delphox and Espeon.

"Wow. It fits you well, Rean!" Emma clapped her hands in a smile.

"Del."

"Esp." Emma's Delphox and Espeon respond in agreement.

"Haha. Thanks." Rean smiled

"Good. Now that you got your clothes on. Follow us." Celine said as they took off to the living room.

"Morning, Rean." Levi greeted. "Nice outfit."

"Heh, thanks." Rean responded.

"The others from my village helped prepare it for you." Roselia said. "That old coat of yours was practically shredded to pieces."

"This new one even has enhancements woven into it that will help keep your mana under control." Emma added. "Grandmother, Miss Konoe, Palutena, Sothis, Miss Platiumn, Nahida, Miko, Kamek, Yen Sid, Vita, and Celine all helped out."

"Even Kamek helped out?" Rean look surprised.

"Even we were surprised. But he was asked by Vita to help along." Celine nodded. "It won't sort everything out on its own, but you might as well keep it on. I'm not sure if the design will suit your tastes, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

"Seriously, it's great. I really appreciate all the work you must have put into it." Rean replied. "I doubt I can ever thank all of you enough."

"You are most welcome." Roselia respond.

"That's going to take some getting used to, but I think it'll work." Juna replied with a nervous smile.

"Heheh, yeah, it goes better with the new hair color." Alisa nodded.

"No kidding. It's nice to have a fellow black swordsman among us. Even if his hair and eyes are a different color." Kirito nodded

"I bet it's because you feel left out with no other black swordsman out there." Asuna said.

"Still, it's a good look on you Rean." Mario nodded.

"Yeah. It has a certain charm to it." Kairi nodded.

"I like the color black too." Altina smiled.

"A little too much for my taste if you ask me." Ragna said.

"But you pull it off all the same." Chrom said.

"But that isn't what important. What is is how you wear it. And you fit right in." Robin added

"This ain't a fashion show, but you don't look half-bad." Ash complimented.

"All jokes aside, it really does suit you." Kurt smiled

"Yeah! And it look pretty durable too. It's without question it will serve you fell." Venti nodded. "Especially out on a new journey, wouldn't you agree?"

"Yeah, maybe you're right... I think I like it, too. Thanks again, everybody." Rean smiled. "I hate to put a downer on things, but there's something we need to be clear about. Although Levi's power might be capable of vanishing the curse within me completely, but I want to stay as the Sacrifice until the Great Twilight ends."

"Huh? Why?" Levi asked

"Because there is something I want to know more about this power. At some point, I may need it. Even if Levi get rid of this power... it doesn't change the destiny that I have now. All this was decided for me ever since I was little."

"Rean..." Sora look down.

"But that doesn't mean you're going to give up, does it?" Jusis asked.

"No, of course not. I'm the one who started all this, so I have to see it through." Rean replied. "I'll keep moving forward and do what I believe is right up until the bitter end. This curse, my becoming an Awakener, the Rivalries. It may feel overwhelming sometimes, but I want to see how it all plays out."

"Well said." Laura said.

"I guess we need to look into what Crow told us about." Elliot added.

"Oh yeah, he told us to meet him, Duvalie and the others at Bryonia Island, right?" Levi asked.

"Yes. The Gnomes previously used them for refining Zemurian Ore." Emma answered.

"During the civil war, several of them were spotted in the eastern regions of the Empire." Sara said.

Laura nodded. "There was even one nearby Legram."

"Our clan assisted them up until 900 years ago, right?" Celine asked.

"So I've heard. It was before my time, so I don't know as much as I would like. The Golden Wanderer on the other hand, does." Roselia replied. "One of the duties of the wandering witches has been to monitor the shrines for any irregularities. They serve as more than simple refineries for Zemurian Ore."

"I see." Elliot said

"There have been reports of strange lights and other phenomena in the surrounding areas, too." Musse said.

"Speaking of that. Rean, there is something we need to talk to you about those Spirit Shrines." Levi said.

"Yeah. Whenever we defeated the monster guarded it, Class VII and those who are your second contraction seem to received a vision of something." Juna nodded

"One was Zephyr looking at the Gravestone... and next was the Jaeger King and Alberich." Kurt said.

"The next one was some clear vision of Dreichels the Lionheart, talking to some mysterious block creepy entity... And then Lianne Sandlot and Aether were there."

"Aether?!" Rean ask in surprise.

"Yeah. We're just as shocked as you are." Levi nodded. "I was wondering that... if Aether was the Golden Wanderer from the legends."

"He does seem to fit the bill..." Celine said. "But if Aether is the Golden Wanderer... how is alive? It's possible he is an immortal like the Jarger King and the Steel Maiden."

"No. The Golden Wanderer isn't an immortal." Roselia said. "However, I cannot give you that answer either because of my promise. Until the Golden Wanderer said it is all right, or that these visions are in full detail, I cannot reveal the identity."

"I guess it can't be helped then." Levi asked. "We'll have to ask Aether in person. But he seems to disappear as well. The timing was odd... Still, we were worried about that after we set out for Bryonia Island where Crow and the others were waiting for us. In the Sol Shrine."

"Yeah, Crow's probably investigating it as we speak." Rean replied. "I want to get out there and find out what he knows as soon as possible. And speaking of what he knows. I also want you to tell us what you know about the Rivalries."

"Of course. And just so you know, we'll be coming along with you. Because like it or not, we gotta see this through to the end together, you can't say no to me and everyone else."

"Oh, I know. You're just as stubborn as I am."

"Hehe, and who fault was it considering your self-sacrifice and doing everything for yourself. Someone other than me needs to keep you under leash."

Rean sweatdrop. "H-hey, I'm well aware of how I've behaved in this kind of situation before, but..."

"Abababa!" Levi lifted his hand. "No buts. We're coming and that's final. Everyone here agrees." He said as everyone nodded.

"Ah, youth." Celine said.

"Seems like you all know Rean inside and out." Roselia added.

"Of course we do, we've known him ever since he told us so much." Alisa replied. "Rean, we're all of what Class VII is all about. Even to all our friends. We've been through countless battles up until now. You know what we're capable of."

"Even when you and the Sword of the End fell into the deepest darkness, we find a way to bring you back." Altina nodded "That place... It was so much like the darkness Millium and I were born into. After facing that, I do not fear anything."

"Heh, unfortunately, the Merkabah isn't large enough to carry a large group. But we are going to use Meta Knight's Ship, the Halberd: as our main transportation. His ship has everything we need. We can use his Hanger for the Panzer Soldots and for the Divine Knights too."

"Woah! That's awesome." Juna said.

"That will be a big help." Kurt added.

Rean nodded. "Thank you, everyone. With you, I know I can...no. We're ALL going to push our way forward...Together!"

"Right!" Everyone agreed.

"Oh right. That reminds me. We also need to speak to "them"." Levi said

"Right... Master Xehanort and Master Eraqus." Rean said. "I'm still shocked that Xehanort would come to my rescue after his defeat. Even Aqua, Terra and Ventus's late master." Rean agreed.

"Indeed. I can't say I'm happy to have them here in the village. But Xehanort does have the information that we need. They should be somewhere around the village. I'll go look for them." Roselia said.

"Okay. Thank you, Rose." Rean smiled as he nodded

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Eryn the Hidden Village)

Rean, Levi and New Class VII grouped up as everyone else left the room.

"Now that we know what to do, I'm ready to go back to being second in command." Levi said.

"Haha, well from what I heard, you did an incredible job leading the class and getting everyone back together." Rean replied. "Sorry to drag you all into this."

Kurt chuckled. "It's a little late for apologies."

"It's only natural for us to help out, since we owe you so much already." Juna said.

"We know this place fairly well by now." Altina said. "So feel free to ask if you need any assistance."

"And there's always the fairy spring if you want to take some time out to... unwind." Musse winked

"There she goes again." Ash replied

"You couldn't hold it in, could you?" Venti sweatdrop.

"In any case, we have a few minutes to prepare before we have to leave." Levi reminded. "I assume you want to go and thank everyone who helped you?"

"Yeah, it's the least I can do for now." Rean replied. "Let's go around the village for a while before we depart."

Rean, Levi and New Class VII headed upstairs in Roselia's Aleister where they enter a room where they see Roselia, Vita, Emma, Celine, Yen Sid, Konoe, Platiumn and Mavis are all gathered together along with Vita's Hatterene, Gothitelle, Gardevoir, Espeon, and Emma's Reuniclus, Meowstic, Delphox, Espeon, Froslass.

"Well look who's here." Konoe said.

"Welcome back Rean Schwarzer." Yen Said greeted with a smile.

"Hello Miss Konoe, Master Yen Sid, Master Mavis, and... who might you be?" Rean asked Platiumn. "Wait, I feel like I've met you before."

"Ah, a pleasure to meet you, Rean Schwarzer. My name is Trinity Glassfille. I'm one of the Six Heroes. Although you probably encounter Luna and Sena back during that time with the Cross Tag Battle incident."

"Yeah, Luna was the bratty one while Sena was more... mature." Levi said.

"Ah, I remember now. She team up with Hakumen If I recall." Rean said.

"Yes. Please forgive them for attacking you." Trinity said

"No need. We were all force to engage in combat thanks to System. But it's an honor to meet you. I want to thank each of you for helping. I owe you one."

"Oh no need." Celine said.

"Heh, that new raiment of yours well becomes you, Rean." Vita said.

"Haha, Thanks, Vita." Rean scratch his cheek. "Huh? I thought Kamek would be with you for stitching this outfit."

"He was only here to help. After his job he done, he return back to King Bowser's side."

"I see. I'll be sure to remember thanking him too. But serious... Thank you for sticking with me."

"Heheh, you're welcome. I'd always wanted to get a look at the Workshop in person, anyway before Professor Kokonoe blow the whole place up. I got to say, I like her style. It was quite clever and amazing how she took off the data and turn the Workshop weapons against them and right under them, too. I like her."

"Yeah. She certainly surprise all of us." Celine said. "I'm also glad the other Six Heroes, Kagura, Hibiki, Levi's Family, Thomas and the general also agreed to help too."

"Honestly, it's quite amazing how every one of you has prepared not only your means of escape, but also use the enemy weapons against them." Roselia sighed. "But what surprises me more of how formidable Konoe is as a fellow witch."

"You're not half bad yourself." Konoe wave it off. "As the elder of the clan of witches, your magical power is a sight to behold."

"Even though you clearly have stronger then grandmother, not to mention that familiar you have." Vita said.

"Konoe is stronger than Rose?" Musse asked.

"As much as I hate to admit, she is right. Konoe's power far exceeds my own. Of course, I did split my power from I created Grianos and Celine." Roselia explained.

"Not to mention her familiar was a fire elemental being who also resemble a demon. It's even capable of restraining a Divine Knight. And pull Prince Cedirc out of his Divine Knight." Emma added

"Oh yeah, I remember that." Levi said. "Konoe is a force to be reckoned with."

"Now now, I may be an all powerful witch, but give them some credit." Konoe said

"So modest, aren't you, Konoe?" Mavis giggled. "Still, I'm glad thinks work out in the end."

"But don't go thinking you're off the hook yet." Roselia fold her arms. "If you knew what we were doing, you could have contacted us. Not to mention I'm quite angry as Palutena for not telling me the escape plan."

"Wait, didn't you get in touch right before everything went down?" Ash asked.

"Oh, that? Let's just say it was a little insurance." Musse giggled

"And it comes through the best possible moment." Vita added. "Besides, I don't want to blame Palutena since we were the ones to ask her for the surprise. Along with Hubert and many other tactician among the ranks."

"Wait a moment. I was among the people to discuss how to get into the Black Workshop and a way out." Roselia said

"Yes. But you didn't think about the sudden reinforcements that was going to happened, right?"

"Rrggh... guess not... Since clearly with that large numbers, everything would be fine."

Emma sighed. "You're just as flaky as ever. You haven't changed all that much in all the time I've known you."

"It shouldn't count as a surprise considering Vita did used to leave here." Mavis said."Not to mention Grianos and Celine too."

"She's right. Ah, that takes me back. What has it been, ten years now?" Vita wondered. "This room hasn't changed at all. You could have gotten rid of my bed, you know."

Emma shook her head. "No way. We always knew you might come back someday. We didn't want to to drop in on us and have nowhere to sleep."

"Wow, you must have been pretty desperate to see me again."

"Maybe if you called more often, we couldn't have to worry about you so much!"

"You tell her, Emma!" Roselia grinned.

"And Grandmother, you could stand to be honest about how you feel, too!"

"Uh..."

"Haha. It's quite funny how this little family guys with Emma being the most adult here." Konoe said

"Hehe. Doesn't this bring back memories, Nine?" Platumn asked.

"Hmm... How long was it before I was surrounded by friends in arguments like this." Yen Sid rub his beard. "Ah, yes. Rean, New Class VII. There is something I need to informed you."

"What is it, Master Yen Sid?" Rean asked.

"Sora was contacted from friends from Kairi's Homeworld, Radiant Garden to talk about a new training method. You may want to ask them for more details."

"New training method?" Kurt rub his chin.

"I see, Understood. We'll talk to Sora and the others." Rean said.

"I kind of wish I had more time. Being here again really takes me back." Vita sighed. "Anyway, I'll leave Crow to you guys. He should be able to tell you more about the Rivalries and the curse of the Empire with Professor Kokonoe. Considering Bowser's Ship is involved. Most likely King Bowser is involved too. And since Kokonoe took all of the Black Workshops data and detected their backup data, they should know more than I do. I'm also curious to know how they got into the Black Workshop too."

"Even I'm curious how they managed. They said they were a step ahead of us as well." Roselia said. "But what about you, Vita? Aren't you going to tell us anything from what you told us?"

"Wait, you know something about this Grandmother?" Emma glared at her.

"I'm also been informed about the Rivalry of the Seven. However, we only know little from what Vita has learned." Yen Sid said. "From what I understand. It is a ritual that involves a conflict that is connected to the Divine Knights of Zemuria. As for why. I'm afraid I do not have enough knowledge of it. Professor Kokonoe, King Bowser and your other friends may know more than we."

"I guess it can't be helped." Emma sighed.

'I might have dodged a bullet there. Oh Vita. You were once a sweet child... Where did we go wrong?' Roselia thought.

"All right then. We'll get to the truth eventually." Rean said

"Thank you, Crow. I knew I can count on you." Vita giggled as Grianos chirped.

"That reminds me Vita. How were you able to revive Grianos? I heard he was slice to his soul." Roselia asked

"I been trying to figure that out as well." Emma admit.

"Just as I told you before. I had friends who are welfare in magic, other then the clan of course." Vita smiled. "They help me find and gather Grianos' feathers and help more revive him. I owe them a debt for that."

"And who are they?" Roselia fold her arms.

"Oh, that's a secret."

As they walk around the village, they spotted Zhongli, Ei, Miko and Nahida chatting near the Storge house.

"Thank you for your assistance back in the Workshop. As well as helping imbuing enchantment to my attire." Rean smiled

"It was nothing. I thought I should give a helping hand." Nahida giggled. "I was curious about the Black Workshop. It truly is sinister. I'm glad Professor Kokonoe had to blow it off. Those Zauber Soldots are in fact evil. Though I can't say the same for Reinford Group. Even through it's not their fault, but the Chancellor with the National Moblization Law. But at least we don't have to worry about the Zauber Soldots for now. Unless they have another facility in their ranks."

"If so, then Professor Kokonoe must have at least found some to do the same. However, it doesn't change that there are more Zauber Soldots already within the Imperial Army." Zhongli said.

"That's true. What an abomination. I have every intention to break those disgusting toys." Ei grumbled.

"By the way, Rean. You're looking rather vampire-ish looking little Rean Schwarzer. It must say, it suits you in that outfit. Don't tell me, are you interested in drinking blood?" Miko asked with a grinned.

"Miko, don't tease him like that." Ei sighed. "But welcome back all the same. Are you feeling normal, despite your recent changes?"

"Yeah. I'm still the same old me." Rean nodded. "We were interrupting something just now?"

"Not really. We were just finished. Actually, your timing is impeccable." Zhongli said. "There is something we wish to discuss with Levi."

"With me? About what?" Levi asked

Some of us Fighters will be leaving Eyrn and return to the manor, but know you can count on them as well as us to save this world and many others."

Renne clapped her hands. "Let's all keep each other posted if we learn anything new."

"I wonder where Tita is now. Hopefully, she's with everyone else from the branch campus." Juna said

Altina nodded. "Agreed. We still have yet to find Instructor Towa as the Branch Campus Students are already located."

"At the very least, I find it unlikely that the government would risk harming Tita. Even if she has been captured, they'd treat her well, for the circumstances." Musse said

"Heehee. It's nice to meet a different kind of genius, other than Noel. I'll keep an eye out for Tita, too. Then, maybe when this all blows over, we can have tea together."

"I have some delicious Eastern blends I've been saving up. And others set from Izazuma. Speaking off, I should invite that Kazuha fellow. Plus, we could even play some games together from my Switch and others."

"Agreed. The Fairy Spring is also quite magical, since it love up to its name. Maybe we should consider finding such a place in Fodlan." Yuri chuckled.

"Yes. A Spring that is filled by nature... Come to think of it, did we even establish something like that since Fodlan was reborn?" Constance wondered.

"Don't know. I'm a nature girl myself so I'll check you up on that." Hapi said.

"Oh but it would be nice if it had some booze." Balthus chuckled.

"In any case." Rean sighed before turning to those in Fodlan. "Byleth... Ryoma, Edelgard, Dimitri, Brianna, Claude, Ashen Wolves." He bow in respect to them. "I want to thank you from the button of my heart for rescuing me. I know it's a big risk to come rescue me. I owe you guys one."

"Well, glad I can ask you for a favor." Yuri chuckled. "But don't worry about that. We're also returning the favor we owe you."

"That's right. You help us in our time of need. You help us defeat our greatest enemy and free the darkness that has haunted Fodlan since ancient time. It feels right that we owe you for saving us." Edelgard smiled.

"Edelgard's right, Rean. We were on the verge of defeat, if it weren't for you, your students and so many friends who help us make it happened." Dimitri smiled.

"Yeah, I mean, meeting you guys is without question was the greatest moment of our time. But above all else, we're friends. We help each other. If you're in trouble, we should act accordingly as friends to help you by any means." Claude added.

"That's right. Everyone in Fodlan agrees. You save us from our darkest times. Now it's our turn to help you and Erebonia in your darkest time." Byleth smiled. "Know that we got your back."

"You know, I think Fodlan and Erebonia have a lot in common it seems. Trouble with nobility, have a great darkness that has plague Erebonia since ancient time, and so many interesting people gather and met." Brianna said.

"But are you feeling all right? Seeing you with white hair brings back some memories of that awful disease Edelgard and I have when those Agarthans experimented on us." Lysithea said.

"Sorry that I brought back painful memories to you. But I'm okay." Rean answered

"But what cause your appearance to change? Does this have something to do with what you said back in the workshop?" Merdeces asked.

"You mention you were a Sacerfice... No the ultimate Sacerfice?" Petra asked.

"If I remember right. You also mention that Xigbar and Young Xehanort mention that was your fate too." Avery added

"Yeah. This is the result of me being the Ultimate Sacrifice. My hair and eyes won't change back anytime soon." Rean answered.

"That's definitely scary... being cursed like that..." Bernadette shivered.

"Well, we're glad that you're safe at least and got plenty of rest. With all that happened, you earn it after being prison for so long." Felix said.

"No kiddin' I can imagine some of the stuff you were forced to go through." Leonie nodded.

"Indeed. It's rather appalling. But is there a way to cure you of your suddence change? Like that... What was that object used on Lysithea?" Lorenz wondered.

"I think it was the Miracle Cure from Starlow mention." Marianne answered.

"Sounds about right. But you're still, you, right?" Ignatz asked.

"Ah it's no problem! We're friends here!" Raphael smiled

"He's right. We're just glad your safe. And we also owe you one for saving Fodlan with us too." Ingrid added.

"No. I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to you guys for coming to my rescue and helping the others to search for the singularity."

"It was no problem at all. You help us with Xehanort and we want to return the favor." Aqua smiled

"Yeah. We couldn't have defeated him with you guys and the others." Ventus smiled.

"Plus, your World is something special to us." Roxas added.

"There isn't any reason for you to thank us. We wanted to help because we feel like it." Namine added.

They'll also be helping out with Orbal related stuff since it caught their attention when the Orbal energy floated throughout the universe." Mickey explain.

"Yeah. They got the hang of the Orbal stuff. So if you need help, go talk to them." Kairi smiled

"Oh that's cute! I wanna meet these chipmucks and give them some love~" Musse cooed.

"You sure the chipmunks won't bite?" Ash asked

"Haha. No." Mickey chuckled.

"It's my homeworld. It's known as the City of Light. Alisa already been to that world before." Kairi explained

"A while back. Course. Not just her. There are others like Professor E. Gadd, and others along the way. They help bring Namine with us. Ansem the Wise, a friend of ours like to meet you guys."

"Ansem the Wise? Hold up. Isn't that the name of that Organization member?" Ash asked

"Yes but no. Ansem the Seeker of Darkness took that name to frame the real Ansem. That was Xehanort's Heartless when he took control of Terra." Mickey explain.

"Ansem the Wise is a friend of ours who been studying hearts. He wanted to protect darkness from people so he been studying the hearts with his apprentice. He along with his apprentice requested us to test their training ground." Riku said. "It's not in Zemuria. It's in Radiant Garden."

"In other words, you're asking us to come with you to Kairi's homeworld?" Musse asked.

"For real?!" Juna gasped.

"That's right. But maybe after we finish our business with Crow." Aqua said.

"Plus, Ansem the Wise seems interested in you as well Rean. One of his apprentices who was part of Xehanort's organization, was researching the Septum Veins after what happened with Dark Bowser." Riku added. "It's almost like related to your father's heart along with the curse."

"I see." Rean said. "In that case, we'll be heading off once we get Crow and get answers from him. Crow aside, there's also Xehanort and he would know about the Chancellor and the Gnome's plan. Okay, we'll be heading out to thank other people, we'll let you guys know to depart." He said as they took off and then see Thomas, Rosine, Gaius, Palutena, Viridi and Palutena.

"Whoa, is this 'Ignorant Cults'? They got 'The Kin of Vegarna,' too! All these books have been banned by the church! Pretty audacious of them just sitting on the shelves like this!" Thomas responded with cheered

"Not at all. If anything, it's thanks to Lady Palutena's help that make the possible happen. She was the one who open that gate by herself. One should expect nothingness from the Goddess of Light. Which, I might add, is an honor to meet one of the gods." Thomas smiled. "I never imagined such a thing is possible until Gaius told us about Lady Palutena, Lady Viridi, and Lady Sothis. Oh! Let's not forget Lady Roselia, the Queen of the Cosmo who restored the universe two years ago. Oh of course the Star Spirits, Arceus, and many gods have appeared in this world. Even Pokemon like Dialga and Palkia. Each governs time while the other is space. So many Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are considered gods at this point."

"There's no denying that. Pokemon are miraculous creatures." Gaius chuckled. "Everywhere in the world has Pokemon living alongside us just like the Pokemon Regions. And of course, we have our own Pokemon companions."

"Pokemon are part of our lives." Rosine nodded

"Anyway, that ship, the Merkabah... It's a ship that belongs to the Grilsritter, isn't it?" Rean asked.

"That's right. It's given to Dominions like Gaius and myself to help us in the course of our Gralsritter duties. In addition on the engine specs being a bit over the top, it even has state-of-the-art facilities and weapons included." Thomas answered

"I only just inherited it from Barkhorn, so I'm still getting used to it. But I don't think I'll be using it since we'll be riding on the Halberd."

"But I'll be more than happy to help out." Rosine smiled.

"That's great. It's comforting, knowing that we have you on our side." Rean smiled.

"Don't forget you have the other gods and Legendary and Mythical Pokemon on your side too. Truly you are a blessed Soul Rean."

"I don't know about that. But I am blessed that we have so many on our side." Rean said with a warm smile with so many people on his side. "Instructor Thomas, will you be heading back to your Merkabah?"

"Yes. I'll be covering the eastern portion of the Empire, as well as working together with the Grosritter Headquarters. Out of the twelve Merkabahs we have, four of them were supposed to join us. But the Forth and Ninth Dominions, along with their Merkabahs, are called away to respond to other threats." Thomas sighed

"I guess there are problems all over the continent... no... the world it seems."

"That seems to be the case. However, we have Hoopa who can teleport us through his rings if the situation is called for. I'll try to get hold of any useful information I can while I'm at it. Now then, I'm just glad you're back with us, Rean. It's a load off my mind. You never really stop worrying about your old students."

"Thank you, Instructor Thomas." Rean smiled as Gaius chuckled.

"It really is great to have you back with us." Rosine smiled

"Indeed." Palutena smiled.

New Class VII took off to the teleportation stone area where they encountered, Rachel, Valkenhayn, Jubei and Hakumen.

"You as well, Valkenhayn. Lady Rachel, Jubei and..." Rean paused when they see Hakumen.

"Whoa, does anyone feel the air is tense?" Juna asked.

"Yes. Almost like our principal." Kurt said.

"We meet again, Rean Schwarzer. However, fate appears to curse you by the Great Twilight as the ultimate Sacrifice." Hakumen said

"Indeed it has, Lord Hakumen." Rean said with a bow. "I wish to express my deepest gratitude for coming to my rescue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"Hehe. Well, since you come all this way, I suppose I shall accept your gratitude." Rachel said.

"There's no need to thank us. We're glad we can help. Osborne has many powerful allies at his side. But that doesn't mean you don't either." Jubei said.

"Thank you. That means much to me." Rean smiled.

"Hmph." Hakumen respond. "I have no need for your gratitude. My intention was to slay Chancellor Osborne and the Gnomes. They may have gotten away along with the demonic one, but they will soon taste my blade. However, that does not mean you are excused. As the ultimate sacrifice, you cause the Great Twilight to surface due to the loss of that child. Your anger causes the curse to have full control of you."

"I..." Rean look down.

"Hey. If you're not planning on saying anything to Rean, I suggest you shut it." Levi glared. "It wasn't Rean's fault to begin with."

"Yeah! Who do you think you are to say that to him?" Juna asked.

Rean raised his hand. "It's all right everyone."

"But Instructor..." Musse trailed off.

"I can't deny his words that I am indeed responsible for causing the Great Twilight to happen. I let my emotions get the better of me. I took everyone's emotions into my own. And the curse took advantage of that. In the end. I don't deserve to be forgiven."

"However, because of everything words. I will make things right." Rean look at Hakumen. "Even if you hate me Lord Hakumen, and you wish to strike me down, I will fight to save this world. To atone for my actions."

"Heh. Well said, Youngster." Jubei smiled. "Hakumen. Don't you think you being too harsh? Sure, causing the Great Twilight brought the end, but it ain't his fault. I mean he witnessed his friend being cut down and sacrificed right in front of him. Anyone within his position could do the same. You of all people would understand that. Besides, if he wants to make things right, then why don't you let him? After all, he's a fine young man. Surrounded by friends who love him, and always have a golden heart. You of all people should understand his resolve, right?"

"Enough Jubei." Hakumen said. "Though his actions were caused by the curse, it does not excuse him for willingly slaying the Tainted Holy Beast."

"We've encountered many dark times in this world. And even beyond that." He said as he remembered his back during The Imperial Liberation Front, his first journey to the Mushroom Kingdom, the Beanbean Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom past, Saving the universe, the Vermillion Apocalypse, Fawful and the Dark Star, Fodlan with the Agarthans, Grima, Organization XII and now with Osborne, and Salem. "But I wish to fight alongside my friends, my students, and my loved ones to find this path that will bring the light back to this world. And other worlds too. I know my actions may be unforgiving after what I have done... but I will find a way to make things right. I don't want to make Millium's sacrifice be in vain, nor the people who came to my rescue. It may be too much for me. But with everyone working together side by side. We will find this path together. That's why I will walk down this path. A path without regrets with my friends, students, and love ones by my side."

"Rean..." Levi smiled as he place his hand over his chest.

"Aww, Instructor..." Juna smiled.

"That's right. We're here with you." Kurt nodded

"Yes. No matter what happens. We're with you to the very end." Altina nodded

"Hehe. We're never let you down." Venti cheered

"Sheesh, what a cheesy as speech. Still. I'm all in as well." Ash smirked

"As am I. I just fell for you all over again." Musse giggled

"Really, Musse?" Juna groaned.

"The power to protect those you care for - is that how you define righteousness?" Hakumen asked

"Then do not fear." Hakumen said, causing Rean's attention. "It is one thing to claim determination. It is another to prove it with your blade. Do not let pride consume you, and you are sure to find your path."

Rean nodded with determination. "Yes. I will."

"I shall lend you my blade, Rean Schwarzer. Though you possess a righteous heart, I have business elsewhere in the Empire."

"Where are you going if I might ask?"

"To the east part of the Empire. That is all I have to say."

"I'll also be accompanying him. But we'll let you know if we find anything." Jubei smiled

"Thank you, Mr. Jubei. Lord Hakumen." Rean smiled.

"Madame Rachel and I will stay here in the Hexen Clan. But we wish you luck on your journey, Rean Schwarzer. You and everyone have our support." Valkenhayn smiled.

"As Valkkenhayn said, we will lend you our support. Now, do be dears and do not disappoint." Rachel said with a small grin on her face.

"Of course. I will." Rean smiled.

"Okay, there are still more people I wish to thank. Thank you for your words of wisdom." Rean said.

"But his words did help me. I owe him that much." Rean smiled as they go into Roselia's Aleister where they walk into a room and see Team Natsu with Gajeel, Lily and Levy. "Hey there everyone." Rean greeted them as they turn.

"Oh hey, Rean! Looks who at last!" Natsu smirked

"How are you feeling, Rean? Feeling much better? You were out for a whole day." Wendy asked

"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. Thanks to everyone else." Rean smiled.

"That's good. We're glad to see you're safe." Lucy smiled.

"So Salamander, what the heck was that you used on Osborne?" Ash asked.

"Which one you're talking about?" Natsu asked.

"You know, that sudden power that appears out of freaken' nowhere."

"Oh. You mean Natsu's Fire Dragon King mode?" Happy asked

"Fire Dragon King? I heard the Steel Maiden call it Dragon Force." Kurt said

"Well I can't say I blame her. But it's different compared to Dragon Force." Natsu said.

"So what is Dragon Force and Fire Dragon King Mode?" Juna asked

"Dragon Force is a special ability to those of use are Dragon Slayer magic users." Wendy explain. "It awakens the true power of a dragon within us, making us more powerful. That shift you all saw Natsu was that."

"That would explain the sudden shift of presence Alban did when he faced you guys back in Pi'illo Island." Rean mused.

"Yeah. Dragon Force is literally an extremely powerful force. It can destroy anything in its path. It dramatically increases physical prowess, speed, and considerably boosts their Magic Power, which becomes visible, taking the appearance of a Dragon. Access to more advance spells and such." Lucy explained

"Whoa. You're serious?" Venti asked in surprised

"Dragons back in Fiore are known to be the most powerful creatures. Some might consider them as gods." Erza explained.

"And my Fire Dragon King Mode is just a unique ability of mine. It's like Dragon Force but in pure form." Natsu explain.

"That's incredible! And that would explain back in the Workshop." Rean said, recalling Osborne was pushed back so easily along with Arianrhod crack armor, and destroying part of the workshop.

"Not to mention cracking Scaramouche's barrier." Levi added. "Though it was fuse with the other attacks."

"But damn. That's completely badass!" Ash praised.

"How fortunate that we have Natsu and the Fairy Tail Guild with us." Musse smiled

"Oh but it isn't just them either. You can count on the Entire Guild, too." Levy smiled.

"Levy's right." Carla nodded. "Regardless of our involvement. Erebonia seeks world dominaiton. With the name Operation Jormungangr, I don't think we're safe from that either."

"No kidding. Still, if they think they can take us, we'll show them." Gajeel smirked

"It won't be just Fiore, but many other guilds as well." Lily added.

"Indeed. Sabertooth mostly wishes to take Minerva back. Her heart may be tainted by evil, but if her formal guildmates can get through to her, you don't have to worry about her."

"Well, here's hoping Sabertooth has that chance." Rean said. "Oh yeah. I still want to say thank you all for rescuing me."

They walk up to the room where they encounter, Link, Zelda, Impa, Mipha, Revali, Daruk, Investigation Team and Phantom Thieves.

"Indeed. It's a little darkish, but there isn't room for complaints, especially since you must wear them." Zelda smiled

"I know what you mean. Espcually the clothes have special properties that can help in travels."

"No. I'm all right. More importantly. I want to thank you all for coming to my rescue." Rean said with a bow.

"Hmph. Maybe for you, but I don't mind accepting his gratitude. Espcually for what we have to go through." Revali said.

"Aww come on Revali, you're more happy to help out." Daruk chuckled.

"Yeah. It's a shame we couldn't defeat Osborne and his group yet, however." Akira sighed.

"Yeah. Honestly, the thought of them makes me sick. Espcually that Alberich guy." Anna grumbled.

"Yeah. That guy has true villain writing all over him. I feel bad for Alisa though." Ryuji agreed. "I mean, what the F is wrong with that guy?!"

"I can imagine how Alisa feel." Haru frown. "I talk to her about it, and even though she was hurt by how he responded and behaved, she's still trying to stay strong."

In fact, it will only deepen her determination. To settle the score with her mother, take Sharon back, and stop her father and maybe even take him back. Not for the sake of herself. But for everyone. She wants to help build a better future for Erebonia. Something like this is bounce to help her grow not just as a person, but also show how much she will become a better leader."

Corrin, Kamui, Azure, Shigure, Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura, Xander, Camilla, Leo and Elise.

"Oh, Hello Class VII." Mario greeted. "It's-a-good to see you. Are we heading out now?" Mario asked

"Not just yet. I wanted to thank you guys for helping me. Espcually you Princess Peach. Princess Daisy." Rean said in the boy. "Espcually the rest of you. I owe you a lot for coming to my rescue. And for helping my classmates and students."

"What's with the formalities? We're all friends here." Daisy said. "Plus, there's no need to thanks us after the help you done for us. Let alone how long we know each other."

"Daisy's right. Even though things would put us in a bad spot. We're still willing to help." Peach nodded

"But your involvement would cause problems with the Mushroom Kingdom, won't it?" Rean asked.

"Under the right circumstances, yes. However. This doesn't just involve just the Mushroom Kingdom, but the entire world."

"Right. Operation Jormungandr will not stop with just Calvard or Zemuria. But the entire world." Asuna continued.

"It's just like Egret has said." Ash turn to her.

"That's right. It won't stop with just Calvard. But until the entire world will fall to Erebonia and it's curse." Musse nodded

"Indeed. Countless lives will be lost by the hands of Erebonia along with the curse." Shigure nodded. "Oh, I don't believe I introduced myself when I arrived to help."

"Come to think of it, you're right." Kurt said.

"You also look like Azura. Are you her brother?" Altina asked

"So it really doesn't matter if the Chancellor and the Gnomes seek this Rivalry when the world is on the brink of destruction." Kurt said.

"That's right. This world is really beautiful. We don't want it to get ruined by some curse." Silica nodded as Pina responded in agreement.

"That's right! And we're all in agreement to stop it. I can tell this curse is pure evil. Just like that law the Chancellor enforced." Ludmila nodded.

"Since this involves Rigbarth since the Gnomes have infiltrated it already, they messed with us. So it's our turn to mess with them." Ryker nodded. "Plus, we're also doing this to make sure everyone we know and love lives a peaceful life. Including our kid."

"Yeah. And our next children after that." Ares nodded.

"I see. It's heartwarming to see how many are on our side." Rean smile.

"It's just like with Xehanort. We'll fight with you guys to the end." Corrin smiled.

"Thanks, you guys." Rean smiled. "I should get going to find the others to give my thanks."

"In that case, good luck." Ares nodded as they took off.

As they wander around the village and enter Gandolf's shop, they see Angelica, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Naoto Kurogane, and JNPR.

"Hey there everyone." Rean greeted.

"Well, look who's here. By the way, you rock that outfit you're wearing." Angelica smiled.

"Thanks Angelica. Thanks for coming to help me."

"Ah don't worry about it. I'm just glad I can help. And to talk face-to-face with George after all that happened. I was hoping he would tell me where is Towa being held. But unfortunately, the chaos at the Workshop caught far too much discration."

"Yeah. Not to mention Eggman." Knuckles nodded. "With him around. Things won't be simple as it seems as well."

"No kidding. We were wondering why he was staying quiet. So he team up with those Gnomes guys." Amy nodded.

"Yeah. But Eggman made a deal with them. It's no doubt about his Eggman Empire." Sonic rolled his eyes.

"Not to mention Salem is there too..." Jaune said, looking down.

"Man. Things are a lot crazer as it was." Nora pouted.

"More, crazy then you?" Knuckles asked

"Exactly!"

"Nora, I don't think that was a compliment." Ren said.

"Right. I'm sure he and others with him know what to do with this Rivalrie business. That reminds me. Do you think I'll pilot the Halberd? It look like a beautiful ship. I'm guessing it's like... 240 arge or so? Or 280, maybe 300 like the Blue Typhoon?" Angelica wondered. "Speaking off, Tails, were you planning on bringing that blue beauty too?"

"I was actually. But it's being remodel for now. So Meta Knight's ship is available for the Pazner Soldots and Divine Knights to be kept. Not to mention the stables for the horses to use." Tails nodded. "Speaking off. Meta Knight said he custom-built stable ranch you guys to place your horses there with fresh grass for them to roam around and enjoy like being out in the plains."

"Wow. That's convenient. I better give my thanks to Meta Knight." Levi smiled.

"It's on the same floor as the Hanger but located on the other end of the hallway. As well as a sanctuary for your Pokemon too."

"Really? Wow! The Halberd sounds like it has everything!" Juna said.

"It will be a great help, no doubt." Kurt nodded

"Hehe. Indeed. But I'm worried about it roaming around the skies however." Musse said.

"Ah, Schwarzer, good. Did you talk with everyone?" Roselia asked.

"Yeah. Just about everyone." Rean nodded

"Good. Now return to the Atelier. Xehanort and Eraqus are here, along with Aqua, Ventus, Sora, Yen Sid, Terra, of you know the Keyblade wielders. I'm going to contact certain others so make their way so make haste."

"Got it. Be right there shortly." Rean nodded as he hang up. 'Xehanort...' Rean thought. 'Even right now it feels unreal. I can still understand that everyone is still not fond of him, especially Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, Sothis, Rhea, and many others. But why is he here though... including that gentlemen too...'He refers to Eraqus. 'He appears after the final battle and manifests from Terra. No... that's putting it lightly. I think its safe to say he's been with Terra the whole time. Guess we'll find out now.'

Rean and the new Class VII begin to head to Roselia's Atelier and make their way to the conference room where he waits with them for a while until old Class VII, Palutena, Rachel, the Kingdom Hearts crew, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Rosalina, Edelgard, Sothis, Rhea, Dimitri, Byleth and Claude.

"Ah good, seems like everyone is here." Roselia said. "I'm sure many of you are despite the idea of Xehanort being among us, and I, personally, agree, however... Xehanort does hold information regarding to the Gnomes plan. Not to mention, I was asked by that gentleman who accompanied him... Eraqus, I believe he's called asked that hold your ire toward Xehanort on restrained."

"I can't say I'm happy, especially since he should stay dead." Sothis fold her arms.

"Right, right. We all hate Xehanort from the things he did. No further questions but Xehanort, giving shock to both and bad, did help us fought off against Osborne and his team. And since he did work with them when he was alive, he should know about their plan." Claude said.

"As much as I hate to admit it... Claude is right. We might we all hold in our anger... for now." Dimitri said.

"All right." Roselia turn to the door. "Come in."

The door opened, and coming in was Eraqus and Xehanort.

"Master..." Aqua said with a smile to Ventus and Terra as they both rush over and hug him.

"Aqua, Ventus, Terra. It was only just a day, but I'm glad to see how much you three have grown." Eraqus said with a warm smile as he then turn to the others. "And hello to the rest of you. You as well, Sora, King Mickey, Kairi, Lea, Roxas, Xion, and Namine. And..." He turn to Yen Sid. "Hello old friend."

"It has been nearly fifteen years since we have last seen each other before your demise, Eraqus. You surprised us all." Yen Sid said.

"Haha. I can imagine. Not that I blame you, of course." Eraqus then turn to everyone else. "This is the first time we met, but I'm sure you have heard, but my name is Eraqus. I am the Keyblade master and was Aqua, Terra and Ventus's master. But that was over eleven years ago. I think."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Master Eraqus." Rean greeted. "My name is Rean Schwarzer. And with me are my closest and best friends, and few of my are my classmates, while a few are my students."

"Right. I'm Levi Sullivan. I'm Rean's colleague and Class VII assistant, as well as his classmate back in our school life." Levi greeted with a smile

"It's a pleasure to meet you both. I sense the two of you possess some mysterious powers. One who possess a similar power to darkness, while the other... is immense power over light. How curious." Eraqus mused. "Ah, ignore my prattling. But it's a pleasure to meet you both."

"My, it's already been three weeks or so since my downfall along with my organization. Each of you has grown. A lot has change to Zemuria. Especually to one in presticualr." Xehanort turn to Rean. "As Eraqus said, seeing me along with him brings many confusion, and of course, I'm sure many of you have many desires to impale me with the blade. It's understandable, given to all the actions I've done to your world."

"Indeed. We have all thought you dead the moment you were defeated." Edelgard glared. "Even right now, I cannot help but feel so very disgusted."

"I share that agreement with Edelgard. Even right now, I cannot shake this urge to place my sword onto you. Especially the harm you have done to Fodlan." Rhea agreed.

"Perhaps so. But, you must admit that my actions have led to a better hope to you those from Fodlan. Especually, you, Edelgard." Xehanort said.

"What are you talking about?" Edelgard asked

"Were it not for my arrival and interference. You would still be Thales pawn as the Flame Emperor. What's more, you never wish to side with him, nor turn against your friends and allies."

"That's..."

Sothis sighed. "As much as I hate to admit, he's right. Having Edelgard as an enemy would be rather... heartbreaking."

"I can't deny that as well. And that things would have been different too." Byleth agreed. "Not to mention that, if it weren't for Xehanort's actions, we would have the Fodlan we have right now."

"No kidding. I rather all of us be friends like we are right now." Claude replied.

"Still, I can't help but be very pleased with your experiments on the Power Stars among everything. Especially the actions you've done to our world." Rosalina glared.

"Without questions. All of my actions and experiments I have done to your world were more than curiosity but also aided the enemy you all know today. Alberich has gotten more research, the conflict that happened in the Mushroom Kingdom and Fodlan had fueled their plans, just as we agreed." Xehanort replied

"Your agreement with Osborne, huh? But I'm curious. How and why are you here Xehanort?" Palutena asked

"I been wondering that very question myself."

"What do you mean by that?" Kairi asked.

"As we all expected after my defeat. I would have enter the afterlife with Eraqus. I'm not sure what happened later on but... I heard a mysterious voice." Xehanort look at his hand. "This voice reach out to me... "Right... Make things right"."

"Make things right?" Mickey asked.

"I'm not sure what that voice means but... I was suddenly awoken back to Zemuria. I thought I would be dreaming. But the moment I have felt a heartbeat, I feel as if I was resurrected."

"In other words, you have been resurrected through mysterious means and were ordered to make amends." Yen Sid clarified.

"Yes. However, I know not how or which in particular. I have done many actions necessary to forge the X-blade. Perhaps that is why I was brought back. To make amends for my actions to recreate the Keyblade War. Perhaps that is why I was resurrected to Zemuria. Because of my actions in aiding the Great Twilight." Xehanort said. "Perhaps there is another reason for it. But..." Xehanort close his eyes. "I know not what." He open them again. "All that I know is that perhaps all of my actions happened on Zemuria caused you all great suffering."

"I can't deny that you did cause a lot of harm to this world. But what you're saying is, we're somehow responsible for your resurrection?" Peach asked

"I'm sure not. But it is possible. All that I know is I been brought back through some mysterious power. And the voice told me to make amends. The only conclusion I can think of is the Keyblade War that the rest of you took part in. And of course, Aiding Giliath Osborne, Alberich for the Great Twilight and Operation Jormungandr. However, it would be... difficult for me given that all I've done alone. I pray so this mysterious force for some assistance. To my surprise... it answered." Xehanort turn to Eraqus. "And the result was Eraqus."

"Yes. I also heard this mysterious voice. It told me to aid Xehanort's atonement. And thus, I was brought to life." Eraqus nodded

Aqua rub her chin. "So that explains why I couldn't summon your Keyblade..."

"Yes. There are a few things we do know, however. The two of us are immortals. We're similar to that of the Jaeger King and the Steel Maiden. We can't die until Xehanort atonement is complete."

"The other is that we can use our skills and power as we did before. And for some odd reason, my body is more flexible then it once was. Such as." Xehanort suddenly change to Young Xehanort.

"Whoa!" Sora exclaimed

"I can change back to my youth." Xehanort said. "The same applies to Eraqus. But I don't have the power that I once did when I obtain Kingdom Hearts or the X-Blade. I can only used the Keyblade I onced used long ago." He said, summoning his Keyblade.

"That's not the Keyblade you normally used." Luigi remarked.

"Yeah. This one is more... good?" Mario scratch his hair.

"That is because the Keyblade I used back then is no longer under my control." Xehanort said.

"What do you mean, no longer?" Roxas asked.

"The Keyblade No Name is wielded by someone else. I can still be connected to that Keyblade and can sense who can wield it. You'll be surprised who it is."

"Try us. Who it is." Lea asked.

"I been carefully thinking, but I knew that it would be Xigbar." Xehanort answered

"Xigbar?!" Everyone yelled.

"But that can't be right. He killed himself back when my team and I faced him." Venti told them.

"But... he's a nobody, right? Doesn't that mean he will change back into a human?" Emma asked.

"That's true. Marluxia, Larxene, Luxord and Xigbar are nobodies. While Dark Riku and Terra were both possessed by Xehanort, their hearts traveled through time. Just like with Ansem, Young Xehanort, and Xemnas." Celine said.

"Right. Xehanort was a portal for them. They used the Replica Program to make sure they stay in the present." Mickey added.

"Which means there is a chance Xigbar is alive somewhere out there in the other worlds." Jusis grumbled.

"That can't be good. Especially if he's a Keyblade wielder now." Gaius added.

Rean close his eyes as he told. "I think I understand the situation you're in Xehanort. And why you've turned on your formal allies and sided with us. You were given a second chance to make things right for all the harm you have done. Granted, I can't promise you that you will earn our forgiveness, but I do know that you had no other choice. Had it been the other way, I'm sure whatever was responsible for bringing you back to us wouldn't allow it. Almost like you are cursed yourself."

"What?" Elliot eye widen.

"Cursed?" Fie raised an eyebrow.

Xehanort let out a small grin. "As expected you would catch on so quickly. I see that your Eight Leaves Unclouded Eye is at work. But you are correct. You can think of me as cursed like yourself. But it would be simpler to say I'm an Immortal like the other two Awakeners."

"Perhaps. In that case, you can start by telling us more about the Chancellor's goals. And the Rivalries."

"I'm sure you feel it, don't you?"

"Yeah. I can feel the tension in the air. In the world itself. I feel my heart racing, steeling itself for some inevitable clash it awaits."

"The world itself?" Machias asked

Levi gasped. "Wait, you don't mean...!"

"I see that some of you noticed. Excellent." Xehanort nodded. "The Rivalry of the Seven, or in short, the Rivalries is a ritual for Divine Knights and its Awakeners to battle each other for power. One Divine Knight is defeated, the victorious knight will absorbed the defeats knight's power and make it their own."

"You got to be joking..." Claude muttered

"..." Venti sighed.

"I knew it..." Sara grumbled.

"I saw the parallels with what Vita attempted at the Infernal Castle two years ago. Her goal was to trigger a pseudo-Rivalry, wasn't it?" Emma asked

"So that is what she was up too..." Roselia mused.

"Yes. You are correct. I believe your other Awakener friend, Crow knows what Vita is up to." Xehanort nodded. "You can ask him about that. But for the purpose of the Rivalries is for Divine Knights powers forged into one. In other words, to reforge the Great One."

"So that is what the Rivalries." Edelgard muttered.

Xehanort nodded "Yes. You can think of it that way. However, in order to commence the Rivalry, there is a requirement for the world to be on the brink of destruction. In other words, it requires the world to be ravaged by war."

"Yes. Erebonia has many hidden secrets in ancient history. Divine Knights have been battling each other back in the past of Erebonia. But those were just rehearsals. When Zemuria's Orbal technologically advanced, the coming days where humanity's weapons were powerful enough to conceivably cause the end of the world. And with that, the conditions to begin the Rivalry of the Seven will be met. That is also why the curse of the Sept-Terrion of Steel: The Great One, is the catalyst of the Great Twilight that ushers in the end of the world."

"Inconceivable..." Rosalina trailed off. "So that's why they needed war... The Sept-Terrion of Steel."

"But why would they want to reforge the Sept-Terrion of Steel?" Edelgard asked

"To eliminate the curse. That is their goal." Xehanort answered.

"But there has to be some other way to remove the curse other than to pull that off." Machias said.

"Perhaps there is, perhaps there isn't. However, it's far too late for that now. Now that the Great Twilight has begun and Operation Jormangandr has began, it's only a matter of time before the war begins." Xehanort turn to Rean. "But for you Rean, as the Ultimate Sacrifice, and as an Awakener, you know what will happen to you?"

"As the Sacrifice, I'd be forced to engage in the Rivalries. Whether I like it or not. That's all there is to it. Right?" Rean asked

"Rean..." Alisa said quietly.

"Then the curse of Erebonia will take over him..." Yu close his eyes.

"Damn... That is messed up." Yosuke grumbled.

"But there is a way is a silver lining to stop their plan." Xehanort said

"And what would that be?" Byleth asked.

"You must commence the Rivalries early. In other words, if you can commence the Rivalries before the war, you have a chance to stop the war from happening." Xehanort answered.

"Oh, I see what you mean." Venti said.

"Yeah. I think so too." Rean nodded. "Then it seems we have our objective. I can imagine that is what Crow is doing as well."

"Yeah, you're right. I bet that's why he's waiting for us." Levi nodded.

"This information is no doubt of great help Xehanort. With that said, now we know what to do."

"And if my hunch is correct, Crow will help us with that, but we can't say the same to our enemies however." Levi remark.

"Your right. It won't be easy but at least we know where to start." Palutena nodded.

"Right. With that said, now you know our circumstances." Eraqus nodded. "Many of you will not like it, but Xehanort will be joining your side for now on since this is part of the atonement. I know many of you don't like the idea of Xehanort siding with you, but he does not have a choice if he wish to atone for his actions. I, of course, will join you as well."

"Yeah. I see where you're going with this. It can't be helped." Rean said. "I wouldn't mind Xehanort joining us, but it will take time adjusting it. We also need to explain to everyone."

"Right. We'll go explain the situation. I'm sure there will be many discomfort about this, but we'll figure out how to settle them down." Mickey said

"I honestly don't like the idea. But if this is what our master wants, then we got no other choice." Aqua said.

"Yeah. But we will keep an eye on you, Xehanort." Terra said.

"So as you like. Punch me or stab all you like if that satisfies you. But tormenting me is off limits." Xehanort said.

"Hmph. I'll gladly take you off on your offer." Rhea glared. "It's a shame that you can't die, but given the circumstances, I have no choice but to accept."

"I agree with Rhea. I'll make the most of it." Sothis grinned.

"Oh joy." Xehanort rolled his eyes as Eraqus sweatdrop.

"With that said. I think you can use a break Rean. Walking and learning about this is exhausting. Why don't we head to the spings to cool you off?" Levi suggest.

"Yeah. That sounds like a good idea after all that walk." Rean nodded

"In that case, let's go~" Musse cheered.

"Haha. Can't say I blame you." Rean said as they begin to enter the Fairy Spring where Rean and Aurelia begin to enter a friendly chat.

"And there they go." Levi nervously smile.

"W-Well… Good to see they don't mind baring themselves." Juna replied.

"Hah Unlike you chicks, the Rakshasa's actually got somethin' to bare." Ash smirked

"Ahaha... You certainly... are frank, aren't you?" Aoi nervous smile.

"Hehe. You certainly are right my friend." Venti chuckled

"The principle's 'presence' certainly is… overwhelming." Altina said.

"Oh darn." Musse giggled. "I suppose I'll just have to wait until next time to stand a chance.

Renne sighed "I'm certainly no match for you or Lady Mildine over there, by any standard."

"K-KeA, shush!" Juna blushed. "Not in front of the guys!"

"I concur. I estimate the both of you still have two a two-year grace period before we can properly judge." Altina replied.

Kurt turn to his friends and Levi. 'Um... I wonder if anyone will notice if I just make out way out now.'

'Oh? What's that about?' Ash grinned. 'Come to think of you. You and wild filly are getting quite along with each other, huh?'

Wow. This was longer than expected. All that passion took just a few days. With Rean back. Now to visit Crow. I was planning on letting Crow and others tell them about the Rivalries but with Xehanort and Eraqus joining the party now, it would make sense for they to know more about it.
