"So you're from another reality?" The girl, who said her name was Dawn and Buffy's sister, asked. Xander wondered what the green energy he could see in her was, but decided it wasn't the time for that.

"Yeah, but I have a question. You said something about a raid and Wesley said Potentials have been under attack. What's this raid about?"

"Buffy thinks the First, the thing that's been sending its minions after the Potentials, is holed up in a winery outside town. She, Faith and Spike are leading a group of Potentials on a raid on it."

"How long have these Potentials been training? What kind of weapons are they using?"

"They've been training for a few weeks and the standard swords, knives etc."

"Are you kidding me?! Potentials are young girls, no powers. She's taking barely trained kids, barely armed kids on a raid on an enemy stronghold?! What kind of brain dead plan is that?!"

"Xander, they're Potentials." Dawn explained patiently, not sure why he was upset.

"So what?"

"They have inherent abilities."

"Yes. They're a little more flexible and have slightly better reflexes then the average person. And that's it! They have no extra strength. No ability to sense vampires and demons. No enhanced reflexes. She leading them into death! What is wrong with her? Does she think they're already Slayers or something?"

"Are you sure that's all they have?" Dawn asked.

"Have you seen them display anything more then that?"

"No, Buffy seemed certain they could handle it. Faith's afraid of getting in her way and Spike'll do what she wants. He's in love with her."

"I doubt that. He's an obsessive freak and always has been. He was obsessive as a human and as a vampire."

"He went and got his soul back for her, Xander."

"And did anyone bother to check or did you just believe him like they did Angel? For all you know, he could be under another curse. And that curse of Angel's didn't break because Angel was happy, it broke because Angelus got something out of it. Where exactly is this raid happening?"

"On a vineyard outside town."

"Where exactly! Show me on a map. And why is Buffy planning a raid? Xander's the one with military knowledge in his head."

"Not anymore, he forget it all."

"Not without help he wouldn't. I'll deal with this, Cordy. You and local Cordy check these others girls. I'm seeing injuries all over the place." He gave Cordelia a kiss and shimmered away.

"Since when can Xander do Magic? Willow always said he didn't have the gift for it." Dawn asked.

"Anyone can do Magic, it's not an exclusive club. You look familiar, have we met?" Cordelia asked a girl who was glaring at her.

"I'm Anya."

"Oh, the demon girl. What are you doing here?"

"Xander and I were together. Then he left me on our wedding day."

"To be fair, he was kidnapped and tortured." Dawn pointed out.

"And he doesn't want to get back together. He says we have too many problems that can't be overcome." Anya said. "I miss all the orgasms."

"I'm sorry, but it wouldn't have worked out anyway. My Xander and I were told by a god, that we're soulmates. Which means all versions of us are."

Xander shimmered into solidity outside the only remaining building on the winery grounds. He looked the building over. He didn't like what he was seeing. It was solidly built, few windows and obviously could hide alot of people inside. Buffy's raiding party hadn't breached the outer walls. Which meant they'd just walked in. Quite possibly into a mess of enemy troops. Xander moved cautiously and checked through the door, which had been left opened after they'd entered. He could hear the sounds of metal clashing against metal. Sword fights. He advanced cautiously and followed the sounds of battle. A occasionally cry of an injured girl made him want to rush forward, but he also didn't want to make the same mistake Buffy was making and just rush in. He reached the door through which he could clearly hear the sounds of battle. Someone yelled no!

"Now miss, I do believe you have problems of your own." A southern accent said. Sound of a breaking bone. Xander peered down into the basement and saw a man grab other him.

"So your the One Who Sees everything." He pulled his arm back. "Let's see what we can't do about that." And struck toward local Xander's eye. Xander shimmered and appeared beside them. He grabbed the man's arm just before the thumb would have connected with local Xander's eye.

"I don't think so." He said. And shoved the man back. "Now, maybe you can explain something to me. Everyone seems to be acting really stupid. Buffy has done plenty of stupid things. Things that have gotten people hurt and killed before. But to walk into an obvious trap. Did nobody bother to point out to her that it was a trap?"

"I did actually." Local Xander said. "And who are you?"

"I'm you, from another reality. My Cordy and I are visiting. We brought your Cordy with. Deadboy screwed her up real bad. Got her possessed and everything. She could use your help."

"Excuse me." The guy with the southern accent said. "I was just about to destroy his eye. I'd like to get back to doing that."

"It won't destroy his powers. He'll still See."

"I don't have power." Local Xander said.

"Yes, you do. Now get these girls out of here. I'll deal with the preacher."

"I don't know who you are, but I don't think you can handle him." Buffy said.

"I already said who I am and yes I can. Get the Hell out of here! For once Buffy, use your brain. You led them straight into a trap. You had no intelligence, they're barely armed and barely trained. You blinded yourself."

"I want to see what you can do." The preacher said. "I can feel the power in you."

"I could do this quick and easy, but I feel the need to beat the crap out of you." Xander attacked.
