AN: Hiya, guys. Now, I WANT to write Cliva oneshots, but I haven't watched the movie yet TwT.

The oneshots I wrote are probably ooc, I know, but I had to write about Brozone!

OK, so, the thing is, I still don't know ANYTHING about Cliva, but once I watch the movie, I'll write many oneshots for them!

Thanks for making it all the way here, I appreciate y'all!

"She's just so silly, and girly, and shinny…" Tresillo muttered, his voice tinged with a hint of frustration.

Branch smirked, knowing where this is going.

"But I'm sad when she's not with me…and I feel angry when she's talking about other boys…"

Branch, looking ahead, guessed, "And you don't mind when she teases you or purposely misspells your name?"

Tresillo looked at him, surprised, and nodded. "Everytime i try to tell her…" his voice trailed off as he struggled to find the right words.

"She looks at you with that smile?" Branch guessed again with a knowing smile.

Tresillo nodded. "Yes…and suddenly I forget what I was going to say…"

"Yeah…" Branch muttered. "I feel you, man."

The reggaeton troll continued. "It's like my heart is a drum, but my mouth feels so damn dry."

Branch tilted his head sympathetically. "Like you just go from the most elegant speaker to a babbling fool."

"And I don't want to be a babbling fool," Tresillo replied. "I just want to say it. I love you. What's so hard about it?"

Branch didn't reply, silently urging his friend to continue.

"I've rehearsed a million times, but when the moment comes…"

Branch chuckled. "Your head turns into a jumbling mess."

"Exactly!" Tresillo exclaimed, feeling relieved that someone actually understood his feelings, let alone managed to put it into words. "And then I try to turn it into a normal conversation…but then she says we're-"

"-friends," they both finished in unison, then looked at each other.

Tresillo sighed. "I don't know what to do…I want to…let it out ."

"That's the thing," Branch said softly. "Don't do anything. Just say it."

"I thought you understood me for a second there," Tresillo smiled sadly.

"I do…" Branch whispered. "That's why I'm saying this. We're always planning. We want it to be perfect, we rehearse a million times…" he paused, a frown forming on his face. "But it'll never be perfect, yet we try, and try, and try…we just have to…let it be, I guess."

The other troll looked ahead, comprehending the words that have just been said. Branch was right. He hadn't really tried to let it be, had he? He hadn't. He did want it to be perfect, but apparently, things never go as planned.

"So…do you have a crush on anyone?" Tresillo asked, breaking the silence.

"Oh, it's something beyond love…" Branch said without hesitation, his voice dreamy.

"Who is it?"

"Poppy."

Tresillo's eyes widened. "You're crushing on the queen?"

Branch chuckled. "I'm dating the queen, actually."

"Huh…so you made it out of the friendzone…"

The Pop troll nodded with a small smile. "And you will too, trust me."

"I won't be sad if she said no-" Tresillo stopped when he saw Branch give him a skeptical look, then he smiled. "Alright, maybe I will be a little sad…but I'll feel good when I say it…even if I get rejected."

"You want to let her know that you love her," Branch said, waiting for his friend's response.

"Not just love her…" he said. "I..i don't know…when she sings…"

"Even though it's not my type, I can listen to it for years."

"Or when she says or does something silly…"

"I look at her and just…I want to spend the rest of my life with her."

"She's always talking about her beauty products…"

"And I wouldn't dare interrupt her."

Tresillo smiled. "You're good at this."

"Well, I've had my fair chance of being in love and being friendzoned, soo…" Branch muttered.

"When did you decide to tell her?" Tresillo asked.

"Not long ago," Branch said, scratching the back of his head. "The day we got the letter from Barb."

"And did you do it?"

Branch shook his head. "I couldn't that day…but I did tell her in the end, and here we are."

Tresillo nodded, deep in thought. "And how did it feel?"

Branch stayed silent for a few seconds, trying to describe the feeling. How did it feel? He was so focused on confessing that he didn't pay attention to how he felt at that moment. How did he feel?

"Nice…" he finally replied. "Like a burden has been lifted off my shoulder."

"That nice?"

Branch nodded. "So, who's the lucky girl?"

Tresillo's grin widened. "Wani."

Branch's brows furrowed. "Uh…which one?"

Tresillo looked confused for a second, then chuckled. "Oh, she's the blue one."

"Yeah, I had a feeling it was her."

Tresillo blushed. "Is it that obvious?"

"Well, yeah…you should've seen me when I tried to confess to Poppy, I was stuttering like a baby learning how to talk!" Branch exclaimed, trying to lighten the mood.

Tresillo laughed a little. "You should see the amount of teasing I get from Marimba and Tambora everytime I mention Wani."

"Like they feed on teasing me," Branch said, smiling sarcastically.

And with that. The two trolls sat in silence again, each thinking about the earlier conversation, what to say next, or whether they should just stay silent. It's not like they hated the silence. They enjoyed it, but when they finally found someone that understood how hard it is to be in love, someone they can actually relate to, that's one time when silence wasn't an option.

Branch cleared his throat. "Soooo…I'm going out with Poppy tonight, you know, some sort of a date. Wanna ask Wani and join?"

Tresillo looked up, considering the offer, and after a few seconds, he said, "Okay. That would be nice. Thanks, Pop troll."

Branch smirked. "You're welcome, Reggaeton."

"But, hey…no one should know about this, alright?"

"Maybe Poppy, Prince D, the snack pack-"

"I'm serious, Pop troll."

Branch chuckled. "Alright, alright, this is just between us."
