The residents of the Owl house is currently walking on their way back with their palisman's out are currently buzzing excitement after Luz's witches duel with Boscha and won. Hunter had tagged along with them to see what else my happen also he wanted to see Willow. As everyone walks down the path, Luz was currently in deep through, wondering about the voice she had heard. It sounded so familiar, and yet she thought she was hearing things, but could it really be?.
"I still can't over on how you beat Boscha" Willow said, snapping Luz out of her thought.
" I know! And I'm still shaking from the adrenaline" Luz said,stumbling with every step she takes.
" Easy there warrior witch " Eda chuckles, steadied Luz "Oh, your first witch's duel. Well , a proper witches duel".
"You cheated too" Lilith points out, stepping over a log.
" Yes,but your the law abiding one. So you doing it was way worse" Eda said.
" She does have a point" Hunter said, earning a glare from Lilith.
" This reminds me of my very first witches duel in Hexside" Eda said, remembering Hello. the memories that school days.
"Oh Tell me. Tell me. Tell me!" Luz said, hopping around Eda.
" I will... tomorrow. Today is all your big win, Luz" Eda smiles, and earns a big smile from Luz as her wings shine brightly.
" I'm absolutely fascinated by the knowledge that I'm learning from your wings, Luz" Lilith said, taking out her note pad taking literal note.
" Thanks Lilith" Luz said.
Hunter moves closer to Luz to get a better look at the wings, reflecting the sunlight " Luz, from all the glyphs that you've shown me from the first day I met you, this one is something that amazes me the most" Hunter said.
" Thanks. Also I'm glad that my wing's are making a great impression" Luz said.
"Well, I love them on how they catch the sunlight" Willow said.
"And I love the colors in the feathers" Amity smiles.
" and I would like to see you kick Boscha's butt again" Gus said.
"Nobody mess with my winged sister" King said.
Luz was beaming with happiness and pride from the help of her wings had created. The group was getting closer to the homestretch until " Luz, I'm extremely curious about your wings and I was wondering, can you show us the glyph that created your wings?" Lilith asks Luz, who stop dead in her tracks making Willow and Amity bump into her.
" The glyph?" Luz asked nervously.
" Something wrong, Luz?" Eda said ,raising a eyebrow.
"I don't know if that's a good idea " Luz said, rubbing her arm" I mean, one touch and you'll sprout wings the next day and the pain is unbearable. Has anyone get the feeling when your leg or arm falls asleep?" Luz get a nod from everyone " Well, imagine that but five time stronger and feeling your bones, nerves and tendons breaking and stretching themselves''.
" I definitely heard the sound of bones snapping and moving around" Eda said, remembering each that she changed into her harpy form.
" I know the feeling" Amity agrees, but the others where still curious about the glyph.
" Luz, I gotta say, whatever pain your talking about, it's totally worth it for having wings like that" Gus said, gesturing Luz's wings.
Luz looks away for a minute, pondering if it a good idea to show them the wing glyph. I mean ,showing them the glyph that will make you grow wings with one touch?. I would love to have a pair of my own but I'm not big on pain. Luz's train of thought was broken when king came up to her and pulled on the pants leg " Please Luz?" King asks , giving her the puppy dog eyes.
" Oh ,curse those irresistible puppy dog eyes. I'll show you all when we get back to the house" Luz said, giving in.
" Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Lilith said , grabbing Luz's hand, running back to the house with the others right behind them.
" Lilith, slow down!" Luz shouts, her wings get caught by two large branches making her stop suddenly as Lilith was holding her hand, the sudden stop caused her feet to go out from underneath of her and she fell on her back, knocking the wind out of her.
" Not. One. Word. Edalyn." Lilith wheezed to Eda, who was barely holding back her laugher.
" You ok?" Hunter asks, helping Lilith up.
" Peachy" Lilith said, dusting herself off.
" That was kinda cold" Willow said.
" We didn't exactly get along back in the emperors coven" Hunter said.
" Yes, Hunter and I butted head more time then I remember " Lilith said.
" HI GUYS!" Hooty called out as he aw them approaching the house" Hey Luz, did you have do anything cool today at school?".
" Hi Hooty, And yes. I won my first witches Duel against Boscha " Luz grinned.
"Cool." Hooty said " Do you need help hiding the body?".
" What? Hooty there's no body" Luz said.
" Sure" Hooty winked at her " Hoot Hoot!".
" Should I be concerned about that?" Hunter asks.
" Nah, he's always like that" Eda shrugs.
" Well, It's a first time that Boscha lost in anything" Willow said.
" She deserves it after everything she'd put use through" Amity said.
" No kidding" Gus said.
" Totally" Hunter said as Flapjack chirps on his shoulder " No, I've never seen Boscha before, but that's not important now".
"What was that?" Willow said.
" Nothing!. So Luz ,you wanted to show us the glyph?" Hunter asks.
" Yeah" Luz said, grabs a stick a begins to draw out the wing glyph on a much larger scale "And whatever you guys do, don't touch it because one touch is enough".
" There's got to be a safe way to use it" Amity said, looking at the glyph.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!?" Hooty shouted, popping up next to her, startling her and causing her to trip over on feet. She was able to put both hands on the ground to stop herself from hitting the ground face first "Phew".
" Ah.. Amity" Gus said.
Amity's eyes widen as she realized that she was now on the glyph Luz had drawn, which immediately began to glow, then so did Amity herself.
"Amity!" Luz shouts as she rushed to her girlfriend's side bit the glow had already disappeared " Are you okay?".
" I'm fine" Amity said, Luz helping her to her feet.
"Was something supposed to happen?" Hunter asks.
" This is really bad" Luz said.
"It's okay Luz. Remember it took like a whole night before you even started feeling anything. We've got plenty of time to -GAH!" Amity gasped as a Loud SNAP! was heard. She hunched over , dropping to her knees as more bones were snapping noises were heard, making the others wince, But Luz kneeled beside her , holding her hands to comfort her.
" is this what is was like for Luz?" Willow asks.
Before anyone could answer, Amity lets out a loud scream as two large wings comes bursting out from her back, Amity pants hard, leaning on Luz for support, drained from the sudden adrenaline and magic coursing through her body as she feeling her new wings feathers brushing against her back and arms.
" Amity , are you ok?" Luz worriedly asks.
" Ow" Amity said , taking deep breaths " That was really bad , worse then breaking my leg in Grudgby" Amity raised her head to see that everyone was looking past her. Amity turned her head and gasped at the sight of her new wings. Unlike Luz's wing's, Amity's were feathered white as snow with hints of magenta and brown." Whoa... wait. They're totally different from how your's turned out, Luz." Amity paused as she looked at her girlfriend, who was looking her with sparkles in her eyes and a blush on her face.
"So pretty!" Luz squealed, scooping Amity up into a spinning hug, earning a laugh from Amity.
"This is fascinating. Absolutely fascinating!" Lilith said, immediately taking her note pad and writing it down.
" I don't get it" King said, looking between Luz's and Amity's wings " Why are Amity's wings different from Luz's?".
" Maybe the type of wings depends on who used the glyph?" Luz guessed.
"Hmm, it's possible. But the bigger question is why did Amity's wings take moments to appear when it took an entire night for Luz's to sprout?" Lilith asks, as she watches Amity checks out her wings, feeling the feathers between her fingers.
Everyone looked at each other, not sure themselves. Eda was looking hard between Luz's wings and Amity's wings, then at the to girls" Wait a minute " Eda said, walking over to the girls.
" Eda? What are you-Ow!" Luz said.
"Hey!" Amity shouted.
The Owl lady had proceeded to grab one of their ears and closely looked at them.
" Is this normal?" Hunter asked.
" No, this is new" King said.
" Got it " Eda said, as she released the girls ears, who rubs them.
"What was that for?" Amity asks.
" I solved the mystery of why Boot's wing's sprouted so quickly" Eda said.
" You did?" Willow said.
" Care to explain?" Lilith asked.
" Just look at their ears" Eda said, stepping to the side.
" Yeah, I have pointy ears and Luz has cute round ears.So what?"Amity said.
" Did you just say that I have cute ears?" Luz squeak, making Amity blush and looked away.
" That's not the only difference" Eda said, reaching into her hair and pull out a rolled up paper" Luz doesn't have one of these " Eda unrolled it revealing a picture of a witches heart and the magical bile sac attached to it.
"Actually I do" Luz pulls our her own picture " My Illusion teacher gave it to me".
" Not the picture kid" Eda rolled her eyes and point to it " What's in the picture. The magic bile sac and , Since Amity has actual magic in her body, the wing glyph was able to work right away. But for you Luz, it had to use the magic around the Boiling Isles, just like the other glyphs".
There was a collective realization from everyone.
" Oh yeah".
" That does make sense".
"Very true".
"I should've know".
" That explains a lot" Luz said as she noticed that Hunter is holding back Gus from touching the glyph" You're just dying to try it, aren't you?".
" Come on Luz, please?" Gus begs.
"I'm not sure how much power does the glyph has left" Luz said, as she and Amity crouched down to check the glyph before Luz places her hand on the glyph, she feels a gentle warmth from it and her wings start to glow and the world tones out around Luz as she hears the familiar voice again in her ear " The power of the glyph has enough power for your friends but beware ,for there's danger on the horizon ,be careful Mi hija". Luz snaps out of the strange trance, pulling away from the glyph " On second thought there's enough power for three more change , so I'm gonna have to draw another one for this one is done".
" Luz, what are trying to hide?" Amity asks, noticing the look on her girlfriend face.
" It's a long story but that's for later" Luz said , drawing another wing glyph as the first one faded away.
" That's something new with the glyph" Willow said.
" Drawing a new one was definitely the right move" Amity agreed.
" So, who wants to go first?" Luz asks, looking at Hunter, Willow and Gus.
"Me!" Gus shouts, waving his hand.
" That looked painful. Are you sure you can handle it?" Hunter asks.
Gus just smirked and jumps next to the glyph, putting his hand on it. It glowed for a few seconds and stood up with his arms crossed and smirked " Does that answer your question?" Suddenly, there's a loud SNAP! And Gus's cocky expression and gone and was replaced with a painful one and screamed "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
" Well that does" Hunter said.
Gus's body jerks around as several more snaps were heard before he hunched over and two wings burst out of Gus's back, shredding his shirt. Gus pants hard as he tries to stand gut can't just yet, feeling his wings where very heavy, so Hunter helps him up.
" I told you Gus" Hunter said ,steading Gus.
"Ok Luz,Amity you were right, that really hurt" Gus moans, and turns his head to see his new wings, gasping at them seeing that they're totally different from Luz's and Amity's for they're completely made of metal and some parts of the wing are glowing blue and as before the glyph disappears.
"Wow" Willow said, stepping closer to get a better look.
"Oh my Titan!" Gus gasps in excitement. He turns around looking at this wings. Hunter is forced to grab Willow and pulled her back out of the way of Gus's spinning wing's.
"Careful with those feathers " Hunter said, before noticing that he was still holding Willow close to him and immediately lets go of her, looking away with a blush on his face.
"Thanks Hunter" Willow smiles.
"Yeah!" Hunter didn't look at her" Don't mention it".
Will raises a eyebrow at Hunter before looking at the glyph " So, should you go first or me?" Willow asks.
" Well, I guess I will " Hunter coughs into his fist and steps forward " draw me a wing glyph" But Luz crosses her arms and Hunter sighed " Please".
" That's better" Luz smiled and began to draw out the glyph for Hunter and Willow.
"They're definitely brother and sister" Eda whispers to Lilith, who nods her head in agreement.
Hunter places his hand on the glyph and it glows as he does. When the glow fades everyone waits but nothing is happening as everyone wondering why Hunter's wings haven't appeared.
"It appears to be taking it's taking longer for you" Lilith said, raising an eyebrow.
" Wait" Hunter eyes widen " I'm feeling something".
Everyone watches in anticipation when" BUUUURRRRRPPPP!!!!" When he bleach ended Hunter blushed embarrassed, covering his mouth.
" That wasn't the the glyph " Amity said before she sniffed the air and gagged "Urgh".
"That was slated salted crusted eels" Lilith said, identifying the smell.
" Heh, excuse me" Hunter blushed.
"Hey, if you don't get a strong stretch on our breath after slated salted eels, then they weren't good quality" Eda said, waving her hand.
A few minutes later, nothing is happening for Hunter, was getting impatient, so Willow comforts him" Hunter, it's probably taking its time to figure out the right wing;s for you" Willow said, placing her hand on his shoulder.
" I don't know, maybe " Hunter was cut off by a familiar loud CRACK! From his back.
" Here we go!" King said.
Hunter's whole body jerked randomly, until he wrapped his arms around Willow, pulling her so close that her cheek was against his, surprising Willow. Then his wings burst through his shirt, as Hunter tries to catch is breath the others noticed that each time Hunter takes a breath, parts of his wings get brighter and hotter as if it's in sync and the wings appears to be made of lava with cracks throughout the wings,revealing the bright hot earth inside and embers flaking off the tips of the feathers ." Ok... I never wanna do that again" Hunter said, taking a few deep breaths.
"Ah... Hunter, you can let go of me now" Willow said.
Hunter realized that he was still holding Willow and how close he was holding her and the two looks at each other in the eye, they blushed before hunter slowly released her and backed up " Sorry about that, Willow" Hunter apologies.
" It's alright,Hunter" Willow smiles.
"This is amazing!" Luz said.
" Yes, his wings are impressive" Lilith said,taking more notes.
"Huh?" Luz blinked"oh, right the wings".
Hunter turns to look at his new wings and his astonished by them and carefully moves them in front of his face to get a better look at the feathers, taking of one of his gloves and lightly tracing them feeling the heat but doesn't feel no pain then Hunter's palisman Flapjack, flies over from the other palisman's who where watching and lands on his arch of his wing , chirping in curiosity and worry." I'm okay, Flapjack" Hunter said, scratching underwear Flapjack's beak then Hunter looks at his new wings " Let's see that these can do" Hunter grins and takes off running to a tree, making Flapjack fly to Willow and everyone watches Hunter jump from branch to branch with impressive agility all the way to the top.
" Ah Hunter? Flying's not a easy as I made it look today!" Luz shouts.
Hunter stood on the branch and looked out with confidence"Here we go!" Hunter shouts, jumping out the tree.
Everyone gasped and Willow twirled her finger to create a soft landing for Hunter. But to everyone's surprise instead of crashing, Hunter flew through the air " YES!" He cheered as he flew around.
The others watched in awe as Hunter as Hunter flies around but Amity sees that Luz is looking jealous " It's probably cause his wings are different " Amity said.
" Yeah" Luz said, arms crossed.
"You're sill the prettiest flier around" Amity said, putting her hand on Luz's shoulder.
"Thanks" Luz smiles,blushing and she turned to Willow " Your turn" and Luz drew out the glyph once more and Willow kneels down and places her hand on it , causing it to glow.
" Brace yourself" Gus advised.
Seconds later there's a SNAP!, making Willow clutches her side and falls to her knees, Clover Willow's Palisman buzz's in worry and nuzzles under Willow's chin to comfort her. Hunter had heard the snap looked to see Willow on the ground " Oh no" And flew back around to go to her.
Soon, Willow begin the sweat bullets as she feels her wings burst out of her back, Willow concentrates on her breathing and slowly gets to get feet and brings her wings in front of her to get a better look at them and Willow is astonished by them. Willow's wings are completely different from the others for Willow's wings are entirely made of plants from a combination of leaves for feathers, roots or vines for the main parts of the wings, mainly the Radius,Ulna and Humerus and scattered around the wings are blooming flowers of different colors. As Willow is fawning over new wings, Hunter flew closer to Willow , he saw Willow spread her wings to full length, his eyes lit up and a strong blush appeared on his face " Wow" Hunter said as he flew right past her.
" Hunter, TREE!" Willow shouted, after seeing that Hunter is flying straight into a tree.
"Huh?" Hunter blinked before he looked ahead, just in time to see the tree.
BAM!!!
"OOOOHHH!!! Everyone winced as he slammed into the tree and slipped onto every branch on the way down,making sounds as he hits the branches.
" I felt that in my knees" Hooty said.
"Hooty, You don't have knees" King pointed out.
"I know" Hooty smiles, getting into King's face making him uncomfortable and he back away.
"Hunter" Willow said, running over to him " Are you ok?"
"I'm okay" Hunter held his head "Just need to work on my landings" Willow offered a hand which he accepted. He gets up,Willow's and Hunter's wings wrapped around each other,making them both blush hard.
Suddenly, there's a flash of light. They look to see Luz had just take a picture with her phone"Got i!" Luz smiles" Aw, you guys are so cute".
"Ahem" hunter looked way and coughed" I'll just-" he tried to pull away, but found that his wings had gotten tangled with Willow's "Uh oh".
The two of them awkwardly tries to untangle their wings , but only blushed brighter much to everyone's amusement. There's another sudden flash of light and they see that Luz had taken another picture.
"Perfect!" Luz crows and looked up from her phone to see that they are giving her the'Really?' Look. "I regret nothing" Luz said, narrowing her eyes. A few minutes later, Willow and Hunter managed to get themselves free with the help of the others and they were checking out their wings in astonishment now that their lives had changed in a big way.
"So...we all have wings. Now what?" Amity asks.
Everyone look at each other,trying to figure out on what to do before Luz gets an idea that makes her snap her fingers with a smile.
"welcome, everyone to the Noceda Flying Academy!" Luz shouts, hand out while gesturing to a sigh with those words on it.
"How did she make that so fast?" Hunter asks Gus , who shrugged.
"alrighty kids, get in line because flying classed are about to begin!" Eda shouts, making the kids scramble to get in line. Meanwhile Lilith, King and Hooty sat off to the sidelines in case something goes wrong.
"Aren't you two going to join them?" Hooty asks.
" No I'm gonna pass. I'm good right here on the ground" King said.
"What about you, Lulu?" Hooty asks.
"Unfortunately, now that I share the curse, it would no doubt have harmful effects if I attempted to use the glyph as they have" Lilith said.
"Don't sweat it too much,Lily" Eda said , walking over before assuming her Harpy lady form "You'll get your big girl wing's eventually" she leaded over to King and Hooty"She was always a late bloomer".
" I WAS NOT!" Lilith shouted, standing up with her face bright red.
Eda just smirks at her sister before heading back to the kids, who ready for their lessons.
" Do you have to mess with like at?" Luz asks, her mentor.
" Pretty much, Trust me if you had siblings , you get it " Eda points out.
" Sadly there's some truth to that" Amity sighs.
" Alrighty kids, lets get this party started. And Luz since you have a better experience, you can go first " Eda said.Luz and her friends were ready to start practicing their wing lessons.Luz was in the middle while Amity and Gus are on the left and Hunter and Willow on the right.
" Okay guys, watch me then do as I do" Luz said, as she gets a running head start and jumped high into the air with a mighty flap of her wings and was in the air, flying around as her friends watches from below before Luz lands feet first on the ground.
"Ok, lets do this" Gus steps toward and flaps is wings and jumps into the air " IT'S WORKING!" Gus was indeed off the ground but was for some reason was floating backwards.
"Gus , behind you!" Hunter shouts , but too late as Gus smacks himself into a tree wing' first getting himself stuck.
" you okay Porter?" Eda asks as she and the others rush to him.
"I'm fine, just gotta shake myself loose " Gus said, as he tries to wiggle his wings free but they're so stuck that he ends up lifting the rest of his body instead.
"This looks weird. And that's really saying something" Luz said.
Luz and the others grab ahold of Gus and begins to pull him free, After much difficulty, everyone manages to get him free, though his feathers had left marks in the tree.
"You really should be more careful with those feathers,Gus" Amity said, before jumping back to avoid the wings as Gus spins around looking at the marking in the tree "What did I just say!?".
"I'm sorry!" Gus apologized,pressing his wings to his body.
"Hmm, it's ironic that out of everyone, Gus gained the most dangerous wings" Lilith said, which everyone agrees.
" I think we should create something to keep Gus's feathers from cutting anything or anyone" Willow said.
"Hmm, I got it" Luz said, snapping her fingers, moments later there were marshmallows stuck onto the pointy ends of Gus's wings as a temporarily solution.
"Wow" Gus said.
"These eyeballs look weird. Where did you get so many?" Willow asks.
Luz pulls out a massive bag of marshmallows " I always keep a bag just in case" Luz said.
" Huh, here on the Boiling Isles , eyeballs come in jars" Eda said.
"They're not-never mind" Luz said.
"Well, that'll work for right now until we can come up with a better solution in the mean time, Amity and Willow , it's your turn" Lilith said.
Amity and Willow look at each other in excitement before they got in position,ready to fly.
"Ready and...GO" Luz shouts.
The two girls get a running start and then jump into the air, flapping their wings.
"It's working!" Amity smiled.
" We're doing it!" Willow said.
The two girls were ecstatic as they passed each other then passed each other again, again.
"Huh?".
"What the?".
The two of them thought they been flying through the air, when in reality the two of them had been flying in a small circle.
"Okay, good start!" Luz encouraged " Now try branching out a little".
Amity and Willow tried to move their wing, they were able to alter their paths slightly, which leads to them crashing into each other and falling to the ground.
"Man, I'm glad I don't fly. It's nothing but crashing to things" Hooty said.
"Hootsifer,you deliberately crash yourself into the ground" Lilith point out.
"But, I always pop right back out" Hooty said.
"Yes, you do" Lilith said as they watch Luz and Hunter help up Amity and Willow.
"That could've gone better" Willow said.
"Hey, at least you didn't you hit a tree" Hunter said , before realized that he was still holding Willow's hand and quickly let's go, blushing like mad.
"Ok,we could try some practice with Lily's vine idea " Eda said, looking at her with a smirk" assuming you had a light lunch. Lilith and Hooty grimaced that the memory from this weekend.
So, for the next few hours, Luz and her friends had been practicing with their wing exercises in their own way between stretches, jumping from tree to tree in short flight, determining how strong the wings are and how hard to push them and when not too, and how to properly take care of them underneath the watchful eyes of Eda and Lilith and soon everyone went inside for break with snacks only to learn how challenging it would be to live with wings.
"Watch your wings!".
"Ouch! You stepped on my foot!".
"Whose's wing was that?".
The now five winged teenagers were having difficulty as there's not much room in the kitchen.
"Mmm" King opened his to bite into his food, but one of Hunters wing's sticks it and lift's it out of his paws "HEY!".
"What?" hunter asks with a eyebrow raised and didn't see it happen, when King suddenly jumps on him,trying to get his food back" Hey, get off!".
"Food thief" King said , jumping off Hunter with his sandwich.
"Can someone pass the salt?" Gus asks, Willow, who was getting a drink ,shifts slightly and her wing smacks the salt across the table but Gus was able to catch it "Thanks Willow".
"Hmm?" Willow , not realizing what happened , looked at Gus with a raised eyebrow.
Eda and Lilith who were in the living room, Eda was watching her show in the crystal ball while Lilith was going over her notes that she gathered from the wing glyph,with their own snacks had seen the whole thing.
"Did you see that?" Eda asks.
"It's like subconscious movement" Lilith said.
As the sister talk about the wing glyph findings, the teens managed to get into a comfortable spot in the living room with their palisman's.
"Much better" Luz said, everyone agrees that now they enough room without their wings getting in the way.
"So, what's the plan for the winged witches?" Luz asks.
"Winged witches?" Amity raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, cause we're witches, who now have wings" Luz said.
Amity, Willow, Gus and Hunter look at each other before looking back at Luz with smiles, silently agreeing with the name with smile.
Hunter wasn't so keen but figured he was outvoted and didn't say anything.he went to take a bite out of his sandwich only to find it was just bread, the contents are gone" What the?".
"HA!" Hunter looked over to see King with the missing sandwich contents in his hands "How do you like it!" With that he ran out of the room.
"Why you little!" Hunter got up to chase after King but was stopped by Luz.
"Just let him go. You don't wanna run around the Owl house if you don't know it well" Luz said , her eyes spaced out "There's things disturbing dangers everywhere".
It was then Hooty stretched out into the living room" Hey guys, look at me" Hooty had several pieces of cheese, ham and sauces along his body" I'm a Hooty with extra cheese" he proceeded to the cheese and ham and lick up the sauce.
Willow and Amity covered their mouths, Gus and Hunter look like they were trying not to throw up." Ok, maybe not that disturbing but still pretty bad" Luz winced.
"Hootisfer, don't play with your food" Lilith said.
"Or whatever you're doing" Eda said.
"Aww" Hooty slinks back into the kitchen, much appreciation for the teen.
"Is it always like this here?" Hunter asks.
"Yeah.Pretty much" Everyone said.
"So..who's ready to get back into flying practice?" Luz asks.
"Yeah!"Gus said, jumping to his feet and his wings spread out.
"Wait, where's the eyeball's Luz put on your wings,Gus?" Amity said.
Confused, Gus looked and saw the marshmallows ere missing from the feathers"Where did they go?".
Back in the kitchen, King combined the contents of Hunter's sandwich with his own food and sprinkled the marshmallows on top of it" Ah, a feast fit for a King of Demons!".
"King!" Luz shouts.
"Uh oh" King said.
Eda just laughed out at her kids antics.
"Really Edalyn?" Lilith said.
"Hey, lunch is never boring at the Owl house" Eda said.
Everyone agrees to that and finish's up lunch and prepares for another flight practice.
"Hey Luz, what kinds of food o you have in the human realm?" Willow asks.
" Just regular breakfasts, lunches,and dinners but sometimes we have special occasions where we go to nice restaurants for celebrations or having fun with family and friends" Luz said, smiling at the memories "Oh and we order pizza!".
"What's pizza?" Amity asks before she noticed Luz is looking at her wide eyes and mouth agape.
"There's no PIZZA HERE!?!" Luz shrieked.
Everyone shakes their heads,suddenly Luz falls flat on her back, her legs twitching.
"Should we do something?" Hunter asks.
"Don't worry. this has happened a couple of times. She just needs a minute" Amity said.
"I'm up!" Luz shouts, getting up startling her friends.
"See?, told you she needed a minute?" Amity said.
Luz smiles at her girlfriend before bringing her wing pulls Amity in for a wing hug "I could definitely get used to this" Luz smiles.
Amity blushed like crazy as her magenta feathers begin to glow in a gentle way.
"So pretty~" Luz said, nuzzling her.
" So are you" Amity chuckled as she nuzzles Luz back as their wings brush against each other creating a beautiful display of colors dancing on the walls.
"Take a picture" Luz said, holding her phone to Willow. Willow managed to take picture the display and the girlfriends after Luz showed her how to use the camera.
" Oh, that's a good one" Luz said.
Everyone chuckles or rolled their eyes at the girls who are geeking out over the picture until Eda breaks the moment "So, you lovebirds ready to get back to flying?".
"Yes!. Wait, are we supposed to wait an hour after eating?. Or is that just for swimming?" Luz said.
"I believe that it's for swimming" Lilith said.
"The important thing is to remember when it comes to swimming is always remember to bring your harpoon" Eda said.
"Well, that's interesting and let's get flying!" Luz said in excitement.
The winged witches were practicing their stretches and other activates,until Amity suggests to try a racing test run around the Isles with Eda's and Lilith's supervision , which they agreed, unaware that something is on the rise, on the top of a hill stood a bandaged up Bosha , who was putting the finishing touches on her plan for her revenge on Luz.
"And a 1,and a 2 ,and a 3" Luz said as she and her friends were practicing folding and unfolding their wings.
"Do you think we can get cramps in our wings?" Gus asks.
"They're not really muscles so, I don't think so" Hunter said.
"Oh yes, you do. Your wings, have muscles tendons and nerves that are intertwined with your bones" Luz said.
" how do you know that?" Willow asks.
"Because I could feel them intertwining as my wings bursting out of my back" Luz said, with a painful expression, making it clear that she remembered how painful it was.
"Now that you mentioned it, I felt very unusual feeling in my back like a tingling sensation" Amity said.
"Maybe it was the wings that were forming inside your back and probably moving around some of your organs?" King said.
The teens shivered at the last part.
"Probably not that last one but the first one, I agree". Luz said.
"I can't wait to show my dad's my new wings when I get home" Willow smiles, and her palisman, Clover buzzes in agreement.
"You're Not the only one" Gus said.
"Just be careful with your feathers" Hunter said "And thanks for letting me stay with you" and got a smile from Gus.
"Alright kids, let's get this race started!" Eda said, already in harpy form.
"Let's get into our positions" Amity said
"Ah guys, don't you think that it's a little early for practice race" Luz asks.
"No why?" Hunter said, doing stretches.
"Well , you guys are still practicing your wing skills and I'm worried that one of us is going to get hurt" Luz said.
"We'll be fine. A little competition is good for you " Amity narrows her eyes " And winning is even better.
"Ok...I'll prep over there" Luz said, slowly backed away.
"Those two reminds me of our younger years, lily" Eda said.
"Well, thankfully there's no fire this time" Lilith thinks for a minute" Well, far less fire".
"True" Eda chuckles.
" Hey coaches , We're ready" Luz said.
"Hey Eda , are you coming to watch the race or what?" King asks, ready for some excitement.
"Yeah, come on Lulu" Hooty said, already the his portable bird house.
" We're coming" Eda said, as Luz and King walks away, Eda whispers to Lilith " get the healing potions ready".
Lilith quickly nod and runs to the house to get the potions as Eda stands in front of the teens with the palisman's while King is on her shoulder " Witch's and human's, raise your Wings!" Eda announces loudly, with Lilith, King and Hooty at the sidelines "Remember, this a friendly race and there's only one rule, that there is no rules! Except don't kill each other".
The teens steadily open their wings, without hitting anyone, getting their footing in the right spot ,ready to take off, playfully glaring at each other and their palisman's where holding on to them wanting to join in the race.
"On your marks... get set...FLY! WHOA!" Eda shouts and immediately ducks as the teens take off to the sky, eager to win.
Eda,Lilith,King and Hooty chase after the teens, Eda is flying with King while Hooty was with Lilith on her staff, right behind above the kids to see who was winning, Gus is fifth place, Willow in fourth , Hunter in third while Amity and Luz are currently neck and neck, weaving through the trees.
"Wow, good control Amity" Luz said, watching Amity flying sideways through a split tree.
"Just one of the reason your gonna lose" Amity said, in determination.
Luz blinks at Amity's determination and competitiveness.
"Sorry. I've been told that I can get a little too competitive" Amity said.
"Define too competitive?"Luz asks.
Flashback
In the Blight house, Green haired Amity was playing a game of what looked three way chess with Bosha and Skara and the pieces were white, black and red. Amity moved a black piece next to. White piece. the black piece then pulled out a n axe and proceeded to hack the opposing piece to pieces.
"Ha!" Amity smirks " Any last words?"
Suddenly the house shook as an explosion was heard, startling the girls.
"What was that?" Skara asks.
" My dad's workshop downstairs. Explosions are nothing new" Amity said be fore she suddenly gasps.
The explosion had knocked over the game board and scattered the pieces.
"Looks like the game is over" Boscha said as she and Skara stood up" Let's head into town and check out the new grudgby gear".
"No!" amity said" I was just about to win. We're finishing the game. Set it up".
"Seriously Amity?" Boscha said.
"We'd have to start a whole new game and do the same moves again" Skara said.
Amity narrowed her eyes and twirled her finger, abomination arms came up from the ground and pulled the two girls back to sitting on the floor "Set it up".
Flashback over.
Luz blinks at Amity's story.
" And I did win" Amity said, smiling.
"Okay" Luz said.
"Hey!" The girlfriends look ahead to see Hunter in front of them, looking at them while flying backwards " Keep your eyes forward!" At the moment those words left Hunter's mouth, a large branch smacks him in the head, letting a shout and loosing his spot,falling behind Willow.
"Are you alright?" Willow shouts over her shoulder.
"I've been better!" Hunter shouts back, rubbing his head, Flapjack chirping in his ear, telling him to be more careful.
The racers and coachs makes it out of the forest and into the town, as they fly over head and the bystanders seen them and watches them in astonishment as they race through the town.
"Look at that!".
I don't believe it".
"Those birds look just like children".
In the crowd of bystanders,some of the students from the school were watching the race in their amazement they see, Amity, Willow, Gus and Hunter with their own wings.
"I thought that Luz was the other one with wings?" Mary said.
"Not anymore" Moon girl said.
Some of the witches were recording the race of the winged witch's and Amity's dad and siblings were watching them in the crown.
" Is that Mittens flying without her staff?" Em said.
The fly soared through the air with grins of excitement. Luz and Amity were still in the lead, fallowed by Willow, Hunter and Gus.
"Wow Amity! You're doing great!" Luz said.
"Well, I did learn from the best" Amity smiles as Luz blushed.
"Coming through!" Gunther shouts above them as he flew past them in great speed taking them by surprise taking the lead " Lose focus, you lose the race!"
"Hey!" Luz shouts.
"Why you!" Amity growls and twirled her finger,creating abomination goo gauntlet.
"Whoa there!" Luz gets in front of her, flying backwards" No magic... except the magic wings, Remember?".
"Fine" Amity sighs and the goo disappears.
"Be creative, like this!" Luz said, as she flies higher then the others, almost to the cloud line and does as a backflip and dives ahead of Hunter "Also called the Noceda dive!", opening her wings to catch herself,putting herself back in the lead. Amity fallows her girlfriend's lead and stumbles for a moments doing the dive but get's back on track, unaware of the danger that's just ahead.
"Time to clip this human's wings" Boscha growls as she grabs ahold of the leaver of the catapult, which was filled with explosive potions.
"Ah Boscha?" Skara speaks up "Are you sure this is the right move?".
"Well, we can't reach them from the ground. That's why we have the catapult. Duh!" Boscha snaps.
The girls looks at each others torn but wasn't so different from them. She's just a teenager like them an adventures spirit and eager to learn magic and thanks to her wings, she able to experience what it's like to fly. Boscha get the position right as the former bullies nods their heads at each other, they grab ahold of Boscha , throwing her way from the catapulting, standing in front of it, determined to stop Boscha.
"No Boscha, This isn't right! Luz doesn't deserve this!"
"Yeah! You can't just hurt Luz because of her wings!"
"This where we draw the line!"
"I can't believe that you're this heartless!"
Boscha snarled in rage at her former friends" What is wrong with you guys!?".
"Nothing. You're the one with the problem" Moon girl said, her arms crossed.
"We don't care how mad you are. It doesn't give u the right to hurt Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus or" Cat pauses for a moment "Whoever that last guy is".
"His name is Hunter" Skara said.
"Oh you know him?" Cat asks.
" Yeah from Flyer Derby" Shara said.
"Oh, what's he like?" Amelia asks.
"He's a little high strung, but a good guy" Skara said.
"He sounds pretty cute" Moon girl smiled.
Boscha rolls her eyes in annoyance and summons her palisman,Maya " Oh spare me of your stupid nonsense! That humans been nothing but trouble since the first day she came here! It doesn't matter if you guys are with me or against me, one way or another, that human is going down!".
Shara and the others took their stance, summoning their palisman's. The sides glaring at one another of rage, other determination. Almost immediately, Boscha spins her staff creating multiple circle spells shooting our fire balls at the girls making them dodge scatter to avoid being hit. Skara summons music notes at Boscha, who uses her potions to counter the notes causing them to explode. The smoke blinded Boscha for a moment before she's hit from the side by massive Venus fly traps courtesy of Amelia with the help of her palisman, Halo the Quetzalcoatl. Boscha growls and swings her staff only to be countered by Moon girl and Chloe ,her Peyton palisman. Boscha and Moon girl try to overpower one another until Boscha suddenly leans back catching moon girl off guard, flipping her into Shara and Amelia, sending all three them to the ground and makes a run for the catapult only to fall face first to the ground. Boscha sees that Cat had used bandages around Boscha's legs to stop her, with her palisman, Hopper the Jackalope. Boscha struggles to get free before she sees that Luz and the others getting closer, thinking fast ,she sets the wrap on fire, grabbing two large bottles of red liquid from her belt and throws them at her formers friends, which they explode in their faces making them cry out in pain as they drop their staff's except Skara as they rub their eyes, try to soothe the pain.
" I can't see!".
" It burns!".
"What was that!?".
" That was below the belt, Boscha!".
"HA!. Trinidad Moriah Scorpion pepper potions. I always make a few of these potion just in case for a quick get away from monsters or former friends" Boscha said before she went to the catapult" Now if you'll excuse me. I have some wings to clip".
Skara heard that and slowly and painfully opens her eyes seeing red from the potions but still make out Boscha's form and the catapult and Boscha's hands were on the lever, ready to launch it with a wicked grin.
Gasping, Skara gets to her feet and runs to the catapult with her staff in hand, determined to stop Boscha and fire a massive amount of musical notes at the catapult. Unfortunately, Boscha fires that catapult as Luz and the others came in range just as the notes hits and destroys that catapult, sending Boscha backward. "NO!" Skara screams as the potions get closer to Luz and her friends "LUZ! LOOK OUT!!". Luz and her friends sees the potions and they shouts as they dodge them left and right, while doing some crazy maneuvers and they counter the potions with their own spells. Skara breaths a sigh of relieve believing that they're safe... only to hear a loud glass breaking fallowed by Luz screaming at the top of her lungs in pain, the scream Luz had ripped out of her lungs had sent shivers down Skara and the others spines even more as they hear Luz scream "AMITY!" As she falls into the forest with Eda,Amity and the others dive down to safe Luz.
Skara was frozen as she could only hear Luz' screams of agony and her friends desperately trying to help. Suddenly Skara vision clears up, she feels hand on her shoulder, looking to her left she see Cat, Amelia and Moon Girl, who's eyes are back to normal thanks to Cat and gets back on her feet she and the others at Boscha in horror , who was grinning " Boscha, what have you done!?".

"LUZ!" Amity screamed before diving downwards to save her girlfriend.
Luz desperately flapped her remaining wing trying to slow her fall" Oh no. This is much worse than cardboard wings!" She turned her head to see the ground was getting closer fast "AAAAAAHHHHHHH!".
"Luz!" Willow, Gus and Hunter shouts as they already dived down after her but they weren't going fast enough to catch her in time.
Luz shut her eyes as she had almost reached the ground. Suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around her. She opened her eyes in time to see Amity expanded her wings to cause herself to suddenly stop just before her feet hit the ground , a large burst of wind surged outwards from the sudden stop. Amity hovered there for a few seconds before landing and let out a deep breath.
"Are you okay?" Amity asks.
Uh huh" Luz nods, looking at her girlfriend with twinkling eyes and a heavy blush.
"Luz!" The rest of the winged witch's fallowed by Eda, Lilith, King and Hooty "Are you ok?"
"I'm ok guys" Luz said as she tries to stand only for her to gasp in pain when her feet hit the ground, her knees buckling ,thankfully Eda catches her " OK maybe not"
"Kid ,you're hurt pretty bad" Eda said.
"Your wing!" Gus gasps, pointing at the wing.
Luz looks at the remains of her once beautiful wing " Oh no" it was worse than she originally thought.
"How did this happen?" Willow said.
"There!" Hunter pointed to the remains of the catapult, then to Boscha and her former friends, who running down the hill to the group while Boscha was taking her time.
"You guys did this?" Luz asks Skara and the others.
"No, it wasn't us. It was all Boscha" Amelia said.
"We tries to stop her" Moon girl said.
Luz can't believe what she's hearing. Boscha destroyed one of her wings out of jealousy?! Then Boscha shows up with a satisfied grin "Seriously Boscha? All because I beat you in the witches duel?".
"Oh boo boo, your take wings are gone" Boscha scoffed Before she laughed "But hey, if you want the other side to match after you got plenty more positions".
Amity growls in rage as her feathers begin to get hotter and brighter which makes the others back away very nervously, knowing that Amity had quite a temper when someone she loves gets hurt and get in front of Luz and and Eda, ready to even the score.
"What? You want to challenge me to a duel too?" Boscha mocks.
"No duel" Amity growls, abomination goo rising around her "Just PAIN!" The goo rushes towards Boscha forming razor spikes.
"GAH!" Boscha jumps back to avoid the spikes" What the heck Amity!?".
Amity doesn't say anything, instead she flaps her wings and flies toward Boscha twirls her finger, abomination goo forming around her arms into large abomination arms that lashed out at Boscha. The three eyes which barely managed to avoid the attacks. She took out a blue potion and threw it and exploded releasing a blue mist that froze Amity's abomination arms in ice. Boscha followed by levitating a large rock and throwing it, shattering the frozen goo arms, revealing Amity's arms.
Boscha swung her staff and entered a wave of fire towards Amity, but she summoned her abomination to take the hit resulting in an explosion" Got that out of your system!?" Boscha shouts.
Suddenly, Amity kept out of them smoke wit a spiked abomination gauntlet which she attempted to bring down on Boscha, who jumped back to avoid it as Amity drove her fist into the ground, creating a crater.
"Enough!" Boscha points her staffs at Amity "You're really starting to get on my-" she was cut off hence an abomination goo burst out of the ground at her feet forming a fist that struck her with a uppercut that lifted her off the ground. Amity then sent a stream off abomination goo forward hitting boscha,making her drop her staff. Boscha hits a tree before the goo wrapped around her, pinning her to the tree.
Amity immediately getting into Boscha's face with claws of abomination wrapped around her hand" Give me one reason not to kill you!?" Amity snarled in rage.
If Boscha wasn't terrified before, she is now as she staring in the eyes of Amity Blight's pupils are now slit with rage and red as the others watches in fear amazement on how Amity loves Luz so much.
" Amity stop, she's not worth it!" Luz shouts, as she removes herself from Eda and takes a step forward, only to gasp as agonizing pain suddenly runs through her spine, making her scream and drops to her knees in unbearable pain, as the others tries to help. Amity gets distracted by Luz'screaming and Boscha takes advantage of that by twirling her finger under the goo, making it harden and crack. Bocsha breaks free and hits Amity in the gut , knocking her to the ground but she's able to catch herself and sees that Boscha is getting away. Snarling, Amity chases after her, no doubt wanting to get even with her.
"What's happing to Luz?" King said, worried and scared about his sister.
"The pain from the break of her wing is kicking in hard and the Adrenaline has worn off from the race. We have to get her to the healing ward, Now!" Lilith said.
"We can help" Skara step forward with Cat,Amelia and Moon girl " We can gather up the pieces while you guys get Luz to healing ward, we'll be right behind you".
Eda thinks about it , looking at Luz in her arms whimpering in great pain every time she moves , with a sigh" Alright make it fast girls and no funny business, Alright?" Eda said, sternly.
" Yes Owl lady".
"You got it" .
"No problems here".
"Understood".
"Then let's go" Eda said and opened her wings ready to take off.
"Wait! Hold on a minute" Gus said, looking around "Where's Amity?".
Everyone looks around for Amity but she's no where to be found.
"Where is she?" Willow said.
"Hoot hoot! I saw her ran after Boscha a little bit ago and boy, was she mad! Hoot!" Hooty said.
"And you didn't stop her?!" Hunter said.
"Yeah Hooty" King said in agreement.
"Hey! I was distracted with Luz "Hooty defended himself.
"Now, isn't time to be fighting everyone " Lilith came between them to stop the fighting " Hootsifer, do you know where Amity and Boscha are going?".
"Yeah Lulu, they were heading straight for the town and there's something you should know. Amity's eyes had rings of red and her pupils were slit like a cat" Hooty said, earning a gasp from Lilith making the others worried.
"Lily, what is it?" Eda asks her sister.
"I've only read about in the books from the library when we where younger , but I didn't think that it could really happen" Lilith said.
"What could happen, Lilith?" Skara asks.
Lilith didn't say anything for a moment as she look at the others, who where waiting a answer, so with a heavy sign Lilith admits "I've read that when a witch's love one is put in danger by another witch, the witch will hunt down the witch who harmed it's loved one and won't stop until the threat is taken down and the only way to stop the witches rage is another loved one to help settle the rage ".
Everyone gasps in shock and horror at the information that Lilith just told them and a sinking feeling settles in.
"On my titan. Amity's gonna kill Boscha" Eda said, in realization.

Boscha is currently running through the forest of Bonesborough as fast as she can from a winged fuming mad Amity Blight who is currently flying her down in the air as she fires multiple fire balls at Boscha from her staff. Boscha dodges that fire as best as she can while avoiding the rocks and trees "I can't believe that I'm running away from Amity Blight! All because her girlfriend's precious wings! GAH!" Boscha shouts to herself as a massive wall of fire appears in front of her,stopping from going any further as the magenta fire surrounds her in flaming circle. Boscha sees a shadow through the flames and steps through the fire, revealing a red eyed Amity with Ghost on her shoulder, all puffed up mad.
"You're not going anywhere" Amity snarls, baring her fangs.
"Wanna bet?" Boscha suddenly tossed a Trinidad Morguna Scorpion potion at Amity, who summoned an abomination shield to protect her and Ghost as Boscha took this distraction and summoned Maya and flew to town as fasts she can unaware that Amity is not going to give up that easily.
Boscha breaths a sigh of relief as she could she the town in a distance, before she hears a loud CRACK! and BANG! From behind her and lightning bolt grazes her arm "Ah!" Boscha holds her arm in pain, turning her head and sees Amity welding her staff, which has Lighting dancing around the top, flapping her wings hard. Boscha gasps, and floors it diving down to the town trying to loose, dodging booths and people, who where shouting in surprise or anger at Boscha, but she had bigger problems trying to escape Amity's flaming and lighting rage attack. Boscha makes a few tight turns and looks back and doesn't see Amity. Sighing in relief, she looks forward with a smile, only for her eyes to widen in fear and shock as Amity suddenly appeared in front of her and tackles her off her staff with scream and the two crashes in the heart of town,but Amity wasn't done yet as she grabs Boscha's arm, swinging and throwing her into a large cluster of stones that was being removed by builders, who moved out of the way very quickly, Boscha yells in pain having the wind knocked out of her. Boscha desperately tries to catch her breath and her ear flickers hearing light footsteps coming toward along with a loud scrapping out. Weakly, she lifts her head before gasping sees Amity stalking towards her as massive razor claws of abomination goo scraps the stone ground creating sparks as she gets closer to Boscha, was now trembling in fear of Amity. Before Amity could try anything, she hears a voice from behind her that makes her stop in her tracks.
"Amity stop!"
Amity glances behind her to see her dad and Ed with wide eyes and Em is nowhere to been seen.
"Amity ,you don't have to do this" Edric started to slowly walk towards Amity with his dad " I know that you're angry at Boscha but that doesn't mean you can harm her".
"No! she deserves to pay for she did to my Luz! Boscha destroyed one of her wings causing her great pain, now it's her turn!" Amity snarled, ready to strike down Boscha
" Amity, would Luz want any of this?" Alador said, making Amity freeze " Sweetheart, causing Boscha pain won't bring Luz justice and right now she needs you, now more than ever".
Amity's anger slowly settles along with the adrenaline as her eyes changes back and sees that razor claws of abomination goo, realizing what she was going to to Boscha, who as trying to get up but can't from the pain. Amity makes the claws disappear and backs up, almost falls to her knees, her dad catches her and holds her. Alador feels Amity shaking from the Adrenalin and hears her sniffling, tears running down her face. Alador holds his daughter close and Ed along with Ghost joins the hug trying to sooth Amity and Alador strokes Amity's feathers, it's defiantly gonna take a while for him to get used to his youngest daughter having wing's.Minutes later, Amity calms down and sniffles " Dad, where's Luz?".
"She's at the healing ward right now, with your sister. A little bit ago we seen Luz, Edalyn and some of her friends running to the healing ward and it was chaos and it was all healers of deck, Emira went to help".
"I want to see Luz" Amity sniffled.
"Ok let's go" Alador said, leading Amity away to the Healers.
"Wait, what about Boscha?" Edric said, looking back at Boscha's unconscious form.
"Let us take care of that" A voice said, making the Blights turn and see two women adults, who are Boscha's parent's, Athena and Venessa.
"Athena, Venessa, What are you doing here ?" Alador asks in surprise.
"Principle Bump had called us to let us know what was going on with Bocsha in school lately and Skara and the other's who we ran into earlier told us what happened with Luz and Boscha will be punished for she did" Athena said, as her wife picks up Boscha.
"Yes, Boscha will grounded for six months, suspended from school and no grudgby matches and we will heal Boscha ourselves " Vanessa said, coming over them and looks at Amity with a soft smile " And Amity , you've found a incredible girlfriend, cherish every moment of it". And with that the Adults leave with their daughter.
The blights stare at the witch's leaving forms " Ok that was ... interesting" Alador said " Let's get to the healing ward" and they leave to see Luz, hoping that she's ok.
When the Blight got there it was alright night as the moon rose into the sky , it was strangely quite in the healing ward with whispers scattered around as they get closer they see Lilith , Hooty and the others along with Skara and the others outside a spot waiting patiently , where Luz was taken back to be healed.
"Amity, where have you been?" Lilith said . Coming up to her along with the others.
" I ...lost myself for a while, but that doesn't matter right now, how's Luz?"
The witch's and demons look at each other nervously before Willow said" To be honest Amity ,we haven't heard anything for a while not since Eda and King went in to help".
"What do you mean?" Amity asks nervously.
"Luz was in a lot of pain. She was fighting so bad that the healers had to put her to sleep to keep her from hurting herself, when they touched her back" Gus said.
"She screamed bloody murder when the touched her shattered wing" Hunter said.
"I've never heard a scream like that before" Cat added.

"We have no idea what's going on in there" Lilith said, gesturing to the ward.
"Luz's wing shouldn't be that difficult to heal, right ?" Alador asks.
" No dad, Luz's wings very different from the rest of ours" Amity said gesturing her wings and Willow's Gus's and Hunter's wings who opened them to show Amity's point Alador" Luz's wing's are pure stain glass and one explosive potion was enough to shatter her wing and who's if her wing can be healed".
At the moment, the one of healers come out " Clawthorn?".
Everyone looks and rushes to the healer "How is she?" Amity asks, worriedly.
"We did everything we could to heal Luz's wing, we put the pieces that Skara and her friend's brought in back to there positions but ...unfortunately, Luz won't be able fly again " the healer said with heavy sigh " I'm very sorry".
The witch's and demons were devastated by the news especially Amity as the words echoed in her ears "Luz won't be able to fly again, won't be able to fly again , won't be able to fly again" Amity snaps out of her stance when the healer said "you can go see her, she wake" Amity and the other slowly walks to the spot where Luz is with Eda and King. Amity hears sniffling , and turns to curtain to see Luz hugging Eda and King but her attention is caught by Luz's shatter wing which is put back but still can see the massive cracks in the wing. Eda who changed back sees Amity and gestures her to come, which she gladly accepts and carefully hugs Luz's from behind. Eda lets go of them and leaves with King as they walk out of the ward as the girlfriend's embrace each other in heartache and comfort.
"Is she ok?" Lilith asks worriedly.
"She'll be ok" Eda sighs "And where's Boscha?".
"Grounded and taken home by her parents" Alador said.
Everyone continues to take for a while before hearing light foot steps coming out of the ward, stepping into view is Amity, who is helping Luz walk outside to the others.
"Hey guys" Luz said with her usual smile.
"I'm very sorry that this happened to you, Luz" Lilith said.
"It's okay, least I enjoyed it while it lasted" Luz said with a sad smile, which she got a smile from everyone else.
"Hey, where still the winged witch's either way broken wings or not" Hunter said.
"Yeah" Luz said.
Amity was really upset at Boscha for doing something to her light but more angry at herself. Luz leaned against her girlfriend to ease her thoughts and Amity returned the affection with a loving wing hug. Soon everyone came in a group hug around Amity and Luz. Everyone soon began to leave for home while The resident's of the Owl house begin way home, they don't say anything for it would only upset Luz. In the silence , they made a secret promise to help Luz to heal her wing and get back into the sky.
