Night of Demon House Hunting
Eda has just arrived at the Night Market, a place where the other kinds of stuff most wouldn't be able to find in the normal marketplace in the daytime, and the Owl Lady can already tell from the looks of the stands and the kinds of people here selling the stuff.
But she didn't have time to worry about all of that when she saw the feathers on her arms.
"The curse. I need that elixir. Quick." Eda muttered to herself and looks around trying to find this Grimm Hammer guy.
"Hey, you. You know where I can find a Grimm Hammer?" Eda asked a random demon with a skull face.
The demon nodded with a grunt and a little lizard demon came out of the eye socket, the lizard pointed the way at the foreboding stand with a big skull on top and glowing eyes.
"(Better hope this late-night shopping is worth it.)" Eda thought walked over to the stand.
When she left, the skull face demon ate the little lizard demon with her tongue.
"Well, at least I won't have to worry about the Owl House in a mess with Maria being there to watch over those kids." Eda said to herself.
Oh Eda, if only you knew what was going on with everybody back at the Owl House.
(Moving Owl House)
"I can't believe how fast we are going!" Manny screamed with excitement.
Everyone is having a blast with how they are able to move the Owl House by just holding each other's hands which also controls Hooty since he is part of the house, the large legs are running and made a big jump.
"I wonder how far Hooty's legs can kick that tree away?" Frida looked at one random tree.
"Let's make sure that tree isn't occupied by any creatures." Maria stated that they don't want to be monsters, besides the literal part.
But then Willow and Zoe spotted something walking through the woods while talking on the Crow-Phone.
"Hey, isn't that…" Willow paused, trying to see if that really is her.
"Yep, that's Boscha." Zoe deadpanned with a nod.
"Yeah, the girl who made fun of us." Gus recognized her.
"And the girl Manny flirted too." Frida mentioned which made Luz feel a tiny bit jealous.
"Is she talking to a Crow, on its belly?" Manny asked, seeing that Boscha is actually treating that crow like it's a cellphone.
"That's a Crow-phone, it's used for voice communication and all that. Kinda like those metal electric devices you have, I think you called them… cell-horns?" Zoe tried to remember what it was called.
"It's cellphone." Luz corrected.
"Weird name." Willow commented.
Meanwhile, Boscha is talking to her mom on the Crow-phone.
"Ugh! Yes, Mom. I'm going to a moonlight conjuring. No, Mom. You can't come. And yes, Mom, it's sad that you're asking." Boscha said and let the Crow-phone go, caw and flies away.
But then Boscha turn around to see the Owl House though to her, it's just a random house.
"She noticed us. What do we do?" Willow asked worry.
"What else? We're going to scare her." Frida grinned, getting a juicy pranking idea.
"Mom, get ready to use your scary screech." Frida instructed much to her adopted mom's worries but will have to go along with this.
"Gus, conjure a megaphone with your Illusion magic and Luz speaks into it with a deep growling voice." Frida instructed the others.
"Oh, Luz! You can do that voice we did months ago for that podcast." Manny mentioned which got Luz interested.
"Zoe, I hope you're fast because that speed is gonna be a bonus to spook her." Frida said.
"Oh, oh, oh, this is gonna be good." Zoe smirked as she cracks her fingers and flap her wings a bit.
Everyone got into position and Luz coughs up a bit to clear her voice and began to speak with the deep-growling voice.
"Boscha! You should stop being a jerk or else you're going to suffer the consequences!" Luz scolded with an exciting grin.
"Ew. A talking house is giving me a lecture? Whatever. I'll just TP you like I did with the rest of the neighborhood." Boscha grinned as she took out a full roll of toilet paper.
"The old TP prank, huh? Give it to her." Frida said to Luz.
"Ha! You think of me as a normal house, but something much worse than you can imagine." Luz smirked.
The kids hold hands together causing the house to rise with one talon foot up and Maria let out the loudest bat screech, then Zoe flew in using the darkness as cover to get in close for a scary breeze causing Boscha to get scared and run away.
The kids started laughing together for a few seconds and Maria smiles thinking it was a little fun.
"I've never pranked anyone before. And now I have a taste for it." Gus amazed.
"Stick with me, Gus, and you'll get the full-on awesome things about pranking others." Manny grinned and leans a little onto Gus.
"We should follow her to Amity's house to show off our conjuring. That will show her who's got no talent." Willow suggested.
"Oh yeah, that will sure make Amity and those other girls see how wrong they are while scaring their bitchy panties off!" Zoe grinned a little viciously.
"I don't know, kids. The moon just started to go down and I fear we might be out here for too long." Maria looked up at the moon about to reach for the tiptop of the trees.
"Relax mom, we don't have to stay up all night for the prank and we still got plenty of time before the one hour is up." Frida checked the time on her Scroll, they still have 51 minutes left.
"Let just make sure not to tale this to the extreme." Luz said.
"Amity's updating her Penstagram." Gus informed and showed Luz and Manny the Penstagram.
"Shout out to my fellow witches. #Humans can bite it." The humans read the comment text.
"Let's do it!" Luz decided to go with the showing off and prank.
"Those girls are going to regret the day they messed with us! THEY MUST PAY!" Manny shouted with his hands bursting into green flames.
"I fear I might not be able to reason with them." Maria sighed.
The kids move the Owl House going for Amity's house to show off what they can do with the moon conjuring.
(With Eda)
Eda still feels a little nervous about doing this, but she has to get herself some more elixir to calm down the curse.
"Hello? Uh, I seek the one they call Grimm Hammer." Eda said.
"I'm the one they call Grimm Hammer." The owner of the stand answered.
And then the curtain of the dark stand rises, and a short pig demon comes out, jumping onto the counter with oddly a friendly face.
"Welcome, welcome, welcome. I've got weaponry from the Hinterlands, curses from the Winterlands, and jellybeans." Grimm Hammer greeted and threw several jellybeans which King caught one.
Grimm Hammer appears to be a piglike biped demon with yellowish-beige skin. He has large, pointed, outward-facing ears with large lobes, a small pink snout, thin black eyebrows, and a pointed mouth with two small tusks. He has small, pupilless blue eyes with white sclerae. His cheeks and chin are large and pudgy, obscuring his neck. He has a small patch of dark hair on the very back of his head, extending from his scalp down to the middle back, which is entirely invisible from the front. He has small hands with two pointed fingers and thumbs, along with unguligrade legs and feet, the bottoms of which are slightly darkened. He has a long, curly tail with a triangular barb at the tip, which appears redder closer to the end in a gradient. He wears large round glasses with no arms and thick black rims. His clothes are consisted of an orchid vest with two pockets on either side and a single gold button on the front (as well as two on the back), over a white dress shirt with small gold cufflinks on the top hems of either sleeve. On the shirt, he wears a small blue bow, although it is partially obscured by his chin. His hair is tied back with a small blue ribbon.
"Jellybeans!" King smiled.
"They're lethally delicious." Grimm Hammer mentioned.
Hearing that causes Eda to smack the jellybean out from King's claws as he was about to eat it.
"You are Grimm Hammer?" Eda puzzled of the demon she is looking at.
"Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third. Please, call me Tibbles." Tibbles revealed his full name.
"He wants to be called that." King laughed, thinking this guy must have been picked a lot and made fun of for having a stupid name like that.
"Okay, Tibbles. I need some of this elixir." Eda handed the empty bottle to Tibbles.
"Oh. This is one wicked brew. Lucky for you, I just stocked up." Tibbles revealed a bottle of the elixir with his tail.
"Huzzam! I'll give you ten snails." Eda offered with a smile, glad to know that she's going to get some elixir for home.
"Add two more zeros and it's a deal." Tibbles said.
"A thousand snails? What kind of game are you playing?" Eda asked shock, so much for getting those elixirs the easy way.
"Capitalism. Where everyone wins, except you." Tibbles answered as he goes further into his stand.
"Hey!" Eda yelled. She has to get those elixirs, no matter what.
But then something caught her sight, a full stack of cards on the counter and immediately recognizes them to be the cards of Hexes Hold'em. This gives Eda an idea that is so foolproof and rubs her card gaming skills in his face.
"Say, you play Hexes Hold'em?" Eda asked with a smirk.
"Really? Now?" King complained, this card game is gonna be the end of them soon.
"Oh! Is that what that game is called? I was just using these as coasters." Tibbles said as he returns to the counter and picked up a few cards.
Yes, this is exactly what Eda needs for her little plan to work.
"How about we make it interesting? I win, you give me the elixir. You win, you can take something of mine." Eda offered a wager, a wager that she is going to win with those elixirs.
"Oh, what fun. You're on." Tibbles accepted the bet.
This made Eda smirk, this guy is going down.
(With the Moving Owl House)
The Owl House is walking through the neighborhood not even bothered by the screaming people seeing the house move and having giant legs, most ran for their lives and others were able to get to take shelter in their houses.
"We're definitely gonna get a lot of complaints for this." Maria worried.
"Don't worry, Maria. We'll be done soon spooking Amity and her friends, show them the kind of conjuring they could ever dream of, and be back before Eda gets home." Manny promised.
"Blight House, dead ahead!" Frida informed.
They see the large manor with the front gate having the words "BLIGHT MANOR" on it, this causes Frida to chuckle while rubbing her hands together.
"Okay Willow, are you ready to do this?" Frida asked.
"You better believe I am! This will show her and those other mean girls that I am not a half-witch." Willow determined with a slightly upset look.
"Yeah, that'll show her not to" But Zoe's words were cut off when a rope with a harpoon flew over the roof and pierced the ground getting the Owl House to stop.
"What happened?" Willow asked.
"I fear we have stumble upon something bad." Maria worried.
"Is that a... giant crossbow?" Luz asked, seeing the giant crossbow with some hooded men.
They fired another harpoon to get another rope to keep the moving house in place.
"Demon Hunters!" Maria gasped.
One Demon Hunter jumps all the way up to the front door.
"Knock, knock." Demon Hunter 1 said.
The kids gasp, but Maria immediately responded with a kick to the face knocking the Demon Hunter down from the house.
"I'll fight off the Demon Hunters, you kids get the house back home and take any shortcut you might find!" Maria ordered the children as she brought out her Palisman.
"And Willow, I'm sorry that you won't be able to show this to Amity, but there will always be other chances to show her what a great witch you are." Maria comforted Willow, making her smile.
Maria jumps out of the house and flies on her Palisman to make her landing on the ground, she glares at the Demon Hunter leader and his comrades around her and the Owl House.
"I am only going to give this warning on time. Leave now or else you will see what happens when you make a mother angry." Maria warned with a hiss.
"Please, my mother toward me about motherly anger." Demon Hunter 1 rolled his eyes and ready himself for the fight.
"Then you have been warned." Maria said.
(Music: Rouge the Bat Theme, Sonic the Hedgehog OST)
Maria forms a magic circle about her size and using Beast Keeper magic to summon a swarm of bats flying around wildly and around Maria.
"You shall face the wrath of the Bat Witch!" Maria declared.
Maria charges forward with her bat swarm splitting into three to attack the other Demon Hunters while she goes after the leader.
"Think you can take me on?" Demon Hunter 1 asked as he pulls out his sword.
"You'll have to see it for yourself!" Maria twirled her staff and clash it against the Demon Hunter's sword.
Maria and the Demon Hunter go into close combat with both of them seem to be even but is quicker as she landed a few blows on his body and let out a loud screech that send a soundwave attack that pushes Demon Hunter 1 back.
Demon Hunter 1 uses magic to enhance his hand with green electric spark and attacks Maria again though using a protective barrier to block his strikes, then she goes in landing a couple more blows on the head and stomach though he was able to kick her away.
"You're not going to stop us from getting our big payday." Demon Hunter 1 said.
"I think I just did." Maria smiled.
The swarm of bats took care of the other Demon Hunters and cutting the ropes to free the house, this gave Manny and the others to make the Owl House run away from the hunters.
"NO!" Demon Hunter 1 screamed and glares angrily at Maria.
"You're going to pay for this!" Demon Hunter 1 said as he charges in to attack again.
"Sorry." Maria formed a big magic circle in front of her with the Demon Hunter in the middle of the view.
"But you should've known better than to try hurting those children." Maria glared, knowing the kinds of people those Demon Hunters are.
Maria took a deep breath and let out her bat scream attack only much stronger with the magic circle that sends the Demon Hunter flying and crashes through a tree.
(Music End)
Seeing her work is done here, she retreated her bats and went after the children.
(With Eda and King)
"Oof. That was painful to watch." King commented on how badly Eda just lost to Tibbles in Hexes Hold'em which he is actually good at.
"You card shark. You hustled me." Eda angered.
"Looks like you forgot about my wild card." Tibbles said with his wild card shouting "YEAH" and ripped the shirt from the other side off.
But before Tibbles could make his calm on the wager, the Owl House came in and literally step on and through Tibbles' stand with one bottle of elixir rolling up to Eda's feet.
"Sorry, mister!" Luz called out apologizing.
"Wait, what—Was that my house?" Eda asked shock.
"Eda, the elixir!" King pointed down at the bottle and she quickly drinks it to push back the curse at bay.
"No, no, no! My scam stand." Tibbles cried.
"Sorry, Tibbles, old boy. It looks like you forgot about the wild card." Eda used his words against him and threw the cards at Tibbles, then she and King leaves.
"Curse you, witch. Curse you, bone boy. I'll have my revenge. Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third will have his revenge." Tibbles declared and his stand fell right on top of him.
(With Manny and Others)
They were able to get the Owl House back in place with Hooty being back to normal.
"You feeling okay, Hooty?" Manny asked.
"Totally, I'm just glad I was included." Hooty answered, before being slammed shut by Eda and King from the other side.
"Oh, Eda, you're back. How was the night market?" Maria asked.
"Terrible, I almost got scrammed by the guy and I saw my house literally running through the streets…" Eda paused for a moment making the others feel worried.
"And it was awesome! Maria, you have got to tell me how that happened in the moon conjuring because I am so joining the next one!" Eda smiled and wrap one arm around Maria's shoulder.
"To be honest, I'm a little confused myself." Maria said but will tell Eda everything that went down.
The kids were relieved that they didn't get in trouble with Eda and promise that this would be a night they will never forget.

Manny and the others got themselves a nice moon conjuring to have the Owl House move around for some fun, and Maria fought off the Demon Hunters with her magic and skills to even beat the leader, they also saved Eda from being scammed by Tibbles as well.
