Summary: Riku saves Tenn from a stage accident and got in comma. Kujo refuses to pay the bills for Tenn this time. Tsukumo steps in to help the med bills. If Riku wakes up, will he love him back?

Chapter 6 Restart Point

Tsukumo Ryo have a dream more like a memory... Where Riku is sitting at his lap in his apartment condo at the sofa and followed by these words from the current top idol of all stars in the night sky, exactly Nanase Riku.

"Ryo-san, please calm me down." Visibly getting anxiety moments, Tsukumo Ryo smirks as he can feel Riku's legs onto his.

How warm.

"My~my Riku, what a spoiled brat you are." Riku made his iconic pitiful face. Demanding to be taken care of. "Mou, Ryo-san you promised me..." Riku leans closer. "That you will comfort me." With a small depressing smile.

"You said we are good friends."

Tsukumo cannot help but laugh outl oud. "Hahaha! Interesting~ interesting statement!" Cupping Riku's cheeks, the man is triumphant.

"I'll pour you with love as much as you want~ which your beloved brother nor your controller Izumi Iori cannot give you~ come to me Riku~ use me to your greatest benefit and I would also make you my idol~"

Riku closes his eyes and waited for their lips to meet.

It has been a week since they started this sinful friendship. Remember the family off? Riku only drop once at his home then went back right away to sleep with Tsukumo.

Tsukumo answers Riku's frustration and wildest. A side befitting as a monstrous succubus.

But hey, all Riku wanted is to forget about his desires to become one with Tenn while all Tsukumo wanted is to comfort Riku if he gag his eyes out of crying for being hurt and betrayed like he does.

They were the same indeed.

And nobody knows their relationship as good friends...with benefits that is.

"Ryo-san..." Tsukumo and Riku starts to nibble each others lips. Riku moans, still not used to Zool's manager teasing's. "R-Ryo-san...Mmmh..." Riku can feel his hair being grab as his ass being squeeze at the same time. Nevertheless he ignored the pulling and touching.

Or...actually he is just obsessed with Riku. An ugly monster.

However Riku starts to sob.

Nanase Riku clings to Tsukumo's clothes, wanting to fall in at his arms for comfort.

"Ryo-san..." Riku sniffs. "I'm in pain." Tears swelling so fast, seeing how emotional the succubus is. "Am such a horrible human being aren't I...?!"

Tsukumo Ryo softens his expression to show Riku that he is empathetic, although you can tell his ears are smiling. Putting the nice act and closeness he always project whenever he talks to Riku.

"Oh Riku~" wiping some of the boy's tears while mesmerizing the view how Riku's face is so cute while drowning in sadness.

"We are alike. We are both horrible human being, even so~" dropping a kiss to Riku's cheeks to silent him.

Chuu.

"Eh?"
"We deserve to be happy."

Riku cannot phantom where the hell Tsukumo get these words of affection.

Utterly confused. "...W-why do you love me so much Ryo-san?"

Getting embraced by the bigger body, Riku allowed himself to relax at Tsukumo's chest while they are both still fully clothe.

"Because Riku is the best idol than Zero~"

One sided as it seems...somehow, Riku cannot think clearly. 'Ahh...am exhausted...but...' sniffing at Tsukumo's scent. 'I like this smell...kinda comforting...' deciding to cuddle back to Tsukumo whose kinda surprised.

"R-Riku?"

Riku giggles.

"I think I get it now, what do you mean by benefits on your friends! Thank you, Ryo-san."

Is the sound of Tsukumo's heart.

He got strike again by Riku's charm.

"Waaa Rikuuu~!" Squishing Riku to a bear hug. "I'll properly take care of you~! I promise!"

Riku points at the bed. "Rather than the sofa, lets get to bed." Initiating to continue what they were not supposed to do at all!

Tsukumo felt so touch that Riku is allowing to be violated while awake.

"You sure? I'm going to mark my teeth on you~?"

Is the terrifying joke, but Riku is dumb as usual.

"Eh? Then, eat all you like?"

The two defective people entertains themselves to a play of friends with benefits.

Tsukumo bites Riku's back. "That hurt!" The glop are sweet kisses of wanting's. "You remind me of a shrimp. Nom, nom~!"

Riku giggles. "Kinda cute. Thank you Ryo-san."

The silly atmosphere quickly changed to much more matured set up.

"Ryo-san..."
"Riku~"

The finger playing to Riku's ass. Riku feeling feverish, Tsukumo's heart is very nervous despite being the lead. After all it feels like a dream isn't? To obtain something...or someone you want the most.

Riku fills the void in Tsukumo's heart and Riku has no idea about saving him from loneliness.

As Riku allowed his entrance to be invaded. "Ah!" He made a lewd moan. It tightens to Tsukumo's weapon. "Ooohh~ Riku, don't be such an animal. You are going to melt my dick!"

'Hold up...' the boy whose suppose to be laying in this hospital bed with no consciousness.

How come he is staring at his eyes now.

"Eh?"

Tsukumo blinks.
Rubbing his eyes.

"Eh? Eh? Eeeh?"

Holy shit.

Nanase Riku is actually staring back at him.

"Oh my goodness?! Riku you are awake finally..!" Leaping to hug Riku to his chest. "Oh Riku I have missed you~ You made me wait for so long...!"

Petting Riku's hair who still did not spoke a single word. "You do not have any idea how you made me wait for you! Once you recover I'll punish you~ just kiddin! Am glad you never betrayed me~!"

Smooching a kiss on Riku's forehead while treating his head like a good dog.

"You should have call my name earlier! You could have wake me up silly~!" The moment Tsukumo releases the boy from his hug.

There is...Silence.

"Hm?"

Nanase Riku's eyes, he just now noticed they were blank.

"Riku...?"

There are no lights in Riku's eyes, he doesn't even blink.

Nothing but void eyes that stares through Tsukumo Ryo's inner soul.

Waving a hand, still not taking the situation seriously. "Ooooiii~ Riku? Do you see me?"

Waving again.

"Ooiiii~ Mushi-moshi?"

Suddenly grocery bag crash down the floor.

CRASH!

"What the-" Kujo Tenn has entered the room with shocked eyes. Tsukumo casually looking behind him to see Riku's big brother trembling. "Hm?"

Tenn almost covered his own mouth as he couldn't contain the surprise he felt when he saw his little twin brother have finally opened up his eyes. "Riku...Riku is awake?!" Snapping back to Tsukumo whose being careless. "And why did you not call a Doctor or Nurse!?"

Glaring at Riku's proclaimed boyfriend, the man whose in 30's is still acting like a teenager whining.

"Eeehh~ I wanna solo Riku that is why~" Tenn ignores him and proceeds to shout at the hallway. The desk area is nearby that's why he can yell without disturbing anyone else.

"Anyone! Nanase Riku is finally awake!" Then Tenn run inside Riku's unit and press the red button.

To call attention of hospital staffs.

...

"How is Riku-san, Doctor?" Tsumugi Takanashi asks.

The Doctor writing notes and replies. "For now yes he is awake indeed."

Weird response.

Staring back to Riku in his hospital gown while staring blankly at the floor. Tsumugi, Tenn together with their parents and a bored Tsukumo behind them waiting for much elaborate answer.

I mean, it is strange of Riku to be called awake yet... "Then why is Riku not responding?" Said by Tenn.

The Doctor begins to perform a test. "About that," his hand taps the metal bar from Riku's bed. Upon the noise, Riku's hear twitches and his head slowly move to follow the sound. Still no recognition from his void eyes.

Riku's parents start to feel emotional. This could mean Riku hit his head badly to act like this.

The Doctor finishes. "There, you saw me tap the metal bar from his bed. He responded to the sound...however if you call out to him like this..."

Facing Riku whose staring still at the metal bar of his bed unbothered. "Nanase Riku-san, can you hear me? Do you recognize anybody at this room?"

Riku remained statue and not even blinking.

Tenn frowns in horror as he also starts to realize what is happening to his precious lil brother.

"As you can see he does not response."

Tsukumo getting tired. "Yah, yeah~ AND What does this mean Doctor?" The Doctor ignores addressing Tsukumo but focuses to Riku's family. The Doctor reveals it finally.

"Your son, your sibling is in vegetative state. Meaning, where a person is awake but shows no signs of being aware of their surroundings or themselves. a minimally conscious state – where a person has limited awareness that comes and goes. 60% of people woke up from comma or from anesthesia goes to this state before they are fully awake."

Tsukumo being dumb sometimes, irritated. "Make it shorter." The Doctor almost rolled his eyes but stayed professional, he never liked Tsukumo always butting into the family's matter. "It means Riku-kun's body is awaken but not his consciousness it self. In short he seems to he in a state of dream on his end."

Adding a solution already, "However of course we will still run some test and exams to see if he will recover from this state...or worst case scenario he will be like this forever."

"I-is that so..." the parents starts to sob.

"Mom...Dad..." is Tenn's painful face as he sees his parents cry again and again because of Riku.

It is always Riku's fault isn't?

Tenn force a smile to Tsumugi. "Takanashi-san, I'll talk to our parents if it is hard for you to explain to them." Tenn can already tell their parents will be super depress like before. Tsumugi can feel the weight of responsibility of comforting the Nanase couples.

She wants to help. "N-no! Maybe better we talk to them together. After all you are still Riku-san's brother...regardless..." trying to be positive. "Also it may not be my place to speak in behalf. But Kujo-san, Riku-san keep saying all he wanted is for your parents to be able to see you in personal so they won't have regrets of giving you away. Is what he seems to believe..."

Tenn taken back. "...Riku said that?"

Tsumugi smiles while sweating with hope she did not cross the line. "O-of course I won't force you! But now Riku-san is awake...it be...a dream come true for him. Then maybe he will recognize us!"

Facing forward.

"For Riku-san's sake!"

Tenn heartfelt. "...Riku."

But Tsukumo poking the Doctor.. "Ne, ne Doctor."

The Doctor already annoyed yet scared of him. "Y-yes sir?"

Tsukumo made his proposal. "If Riku is going to be a Still Doll being. Can he be release here from the hospital already? I seriously think more human interaction and exposure should bring him back~"

Tenn and Tsumugi heard.

Seeing Tsukumo hot seats the Doctor. "E-ehh, well you are not in the wrong but it is too early to let him out. He just woke up-" the man shakes him while happily forcing his wishes. "Just say you want more moneeey from me sheesh. Taking Riku hostage for granted!"

Tenn vein pop, taking a step and to remain calm. "Tsukumo-san. We are thankful of you shouldering Riku's bill. However we still haven't acknowledge you are his lover or something."

Tsukumo grins devilishly. "Ohhhh what a Minnie still your brother is Riku~!"

Riku's left eye twitch, as if he heard them yet remained doll state. "P-please do not stress the patient!" The Doctor scolds them.

Tsukumo lifting his pointy finger to Tenn as he knows this fellow wants to slap his hands like a hissing cat as Tsumugi prays behind thar Tenn won't bite the man's fingers.

"See? You are troubling the Doctor. Can you shut up for once?" Is the glare. Tsukumo chuckles and seems entertained. "Sharp tongue~ this is why Riku is much, much, muuuch better than you. Riku would never say such things to me~ he is the perfect idol!"

Tenn revealing his easily hot tempered side. "I never ask for your opinion, retarded monkey-" Tsumugi covers Tenn's mouth and cuts in between then. "Aaah! Thank you for your generosity T-Tsukumo-san! I apologize in behalf of Kujo-san. Please if you are really close to Riku-san, help him recover by talking to him about happy things!"

Tsukumo crosses his arms with pretend. "Mmh! You heard her~"

Tenn grits his teeth as Tsumugi pulls his arm.

"Let us leave Kujo-san! Very well then, later Tsukumo-san!"

Waving to Tenn as pissing him off further.

"Haiii~ byebee!"

Looking back behind him the Doctor cornered.

"Now Doctor, can I get your answer please~?"

Sweatdrops. "You serious?"

He does not have a choice.

...

Outside in the hallway of the hospital.

"Why did you cover my mouth Takanashi-san? That pedophile gets on my nerves. Do you really believe him?!"

Tsumugi feeling apologetic but firm.

"I mean, if you two want to argue make sure not in front of Riku-san. From what I can see he is under mental problems through his brain at this point...don't you think so?"

Tenn looks behind Tsumugi he sees his mother crying while his father comforting her.

"Yes...those eyes are blank."

Is there still...a future for Riku?

A day after Riku is released from the hospital.

Nanase Riku is at restarting point now that he is awake.

"Riku."

Nanase Riku with empty eyes made a head movement from the sound. Right now he is residing in Tsukumo's apartment because the man wants to be the one on healing Riku in terms of human interaction. Tenn, their parents and even Idolish7 cannot do anything about it since Tsukumo paid in full the piled up bills to release Riku and put him under his wing.

Speaking of which...

"I auction a lot of money just to obtain you Riku~" swiftly Tsukumo cups Riku's cheeks, the boy just staring like a still doll. "From now on we'll be together~"

Here's what is really going on.

Riku is in a state of sleep despite being awake. His real consciousness is sleep frozen in time, so physiologically speaking Riku is sleep walking as per the doctor. The Doctor is not yet sure if Riku retained his memories or did he had some amnesia once he is out of vegetative state.

Eventually with love and care and non stop human interaction, Riku will wake up on this state. In short once he comes to sense, that is the only time they can tell if Riku lost his memories or he is back to normal as what everyone really hopes as an outcome.

However Tsukumo is evil.

He wants Riku to only remember him, so he did not take the risks to expose Riku to his real love ones especially to Tenn.

"No one will hurt you anymore~" Tsukumo brainwashing the doll boy. "I'm your only ally, your friend~" with an evil smirk at the end of his statement. "And your soulmate."

"I made a promise to make you forget your feelings for your sibling. Now is the time I male that promise Riku~ Finally for sure you will say I love you to me!"

The truth is, Tsukumo has no romantic relationship with Riku. Sure they did some beneficial bed activities to answer Riku's lustful desires, same to Tsukumo's craving to Riku. Still Riku never onced admit nor declare that he likes Tsukumo Ryo back.

Riku is confused about him. He really cannot tell if he romantically sees Tsukumo that way the man wanted. Nevertheless he said nothing and allowed him to be delusional.

That is why Tsukumo can have a straight face to say to Riku's parents when he finally meet them face to face at the hospital episode, that he is Riku's lover.

Tenn told this gossip to Idolish7 and they were of course disgusted, shock and skeptical. Iori though was kinda buying it to reality since even though it was not obvious, Riku is similar to Tsukumo.

It is just that Riku's psychopathic behavior is not fully in play, but Iori knows for a fact that Riku is a monster by deep and idiomatically way of speaking.

At Idolish7 dorms.

"What do you mean we can't meet Riku Manager?!" Izumi Mitsuki angry already.

"Niisan calm down." His little brother Iori trying to sort out the situation.

Tamaki also upset about the news. "But Iorin! Rikkun finally woke up after almost 2 years! Why would we not be allowed to see Rikkun at all?!"

Nagi looked so serious. "Tsukumo Ryo took him didn't he?"

Tsumugi can only bow her head. "Y-yes..."

Yamato crosses his arms not liking it either. "And Riku's mama and papa agreed?"

Tsumugi says the obvious. "He was paying the bills for them...err..so.."

Sogo reacts. "That is not even an excuse! Did not Kujo say something?"

Tsumugi try to find words. "Err...Tenn-san tried but he realize he cannot pay Tsukumo to price the same of the bills for Riku...since he spend money to him."

Nagi added to help Tsumugi. "Kujoshi knows Riku's situation is alike to him. He is in debt to a man and those adults will do what they want."

Sogo hugs himself. "Horrific."

Iori still calm as ever. "But Manager, how is Nanase-san when he woke up? Did he say anything about us?" Right, that's what important.

If Riku did not missed any memories.

"Uhhh about that..." Tsumugi felt nervous, Mitsuki eyed her suspiciously. "What is it now?"

Tsumugi says the truth. "Riku-san is in a vegetative state..."

All raised an eyebrow.

Mitsuki furrowed."Whats that mean?"

Sogo guessed. "You mean he cannot remember anything?"

Tsumugi shakes her head. "Nno. He really is awake but his mind is asleep."

Tamaki irritated as well. "Confusing! Make it easier to understand!"

Tsumugi apologizes frantically. "Sorry! Sorry!" Then made her escape reasoning to make everyone not mad and worried anymore. "Worry not I shall ask Tsukumo-san for Idolish7 to visit Riku-san, I promise!"

Nagi volunteers though. "A lady jumping to the devil's trap. I cannot allow that!"

Tsumugi smiles. "I mean Tsukumo-san is strange but I saw he truly likes Riku-san...so I'm sure he will allow Riku-san to be happy by meeting us! I know I can convince him! Like..err..tell him if Riku-san saw you guys, he may gain his thoughts!"

Yamato nods getting convinced. "I see that is a nice plan."

Iori whose not saying anything nor any violent reaction, Mitsuki shakes him. "Iori aren't you worried about Riku?! What will the man do to him...alone!"

Iori is actually worried about something else to be honest. However he could not say it to anyone without revealing Riku's dirty lil secret of being infatuated to Tenn.

"...Niisan, Nanase-san is also an adult. I'm sure what matters the most is for us to see him. We cannot sue Tsukumo Ryo for force kidnapping or he call it custody since he did help us a lot in the piling medical bill." As he explained. "Best way to approach this psychopath is to be cooperative for now till Nanase-san gain physical recognition. By then we hope he has no amnesia once he snaps back to reality."

Saturday came...

DING DONG!

Tsumugi at Tsukumo's unit door nervously prepare herself to be respected and at least to be heard out by him.

'Worst case scenario he ignores me...!'

DING-DONG!

"U-um! It is me, Takanashi T-Tsumugi! Is Tsukumo Ryo-san inside...?"

CLICK.

'EH?'

The door opened and there is Tsukumo in a white polo shirt and random colorful paint stain at himself.

"Yaa~" is Tsukumo's greetings. "Mogo-chan you came here for Riku?" It is obvious.

Tsumugi ignored the awful nickname Tsukumo gave her, she tried to also ignore the paint stains on him. 'I need to get to his good side so we can have Riku-san meet Idolish 7 again!' Tsumugi puts her armor. "Yes! If you could be so kind to allow Idolish7 who waited a year for Riku-san to wake up. As the center-"

"As a former center." Tsukumo cuts to correct. "Let us talk inside and you'll see why it is impossible for Riku to go back~"

Tsumugi anxious but steps inside. "I will see that for myself, t-thank you."

The moment Tsumugi reaches the living room. Scattered toys at the floor. "E-eh?" You can even see the dinosaur sand kit Momo gave Tsukumo and other junk toys that apparently the Zool manager keeps.

"Riku is over there~"

Pointed, Tsumugi eyes gasps.

Nanase Riku is like a toddler at the floor playing the toys with emotionless eyes. Apparently he is playing with a paint brush with...the said stains, he was the culprit.

"R-Riku-san...?"

Tsukumo still unbothered of Riku's crazy situation. "As you can see Riku is not in the right mind to meet his friends! But am a GENEROUS MAaaaan~!" Tsumugi covers her mouth as she found pity towards Riku. "So I will let Idolish7 visit Riku! But of cooouuurseee only countableeee visits!"

Tsumugi frowns. "I don't think it is healthy for Riku-san to act like this. Why can't Riku-san go to a therap-"

Tsukumo flexes his money. "And whooosee going to pay? Me? Hmmm?"

Tsumugi does not want to push her luck to make Tsukumo annoyed so she gave up.

"Understood...this Sunday please allow Idolish7 to visit here if Riku-san is not allowed to go somewhere else."

If Riku meets the Idolish7, will his vegetative state go away if even Tenn cannot make him?
