Since after the trip to Japan, the powerless cambion Annika Masson explored Paris, France for the first time. Two weeks after the wedding of Priya Desai and Zander Stark, Annika was abducted, snatched, and held in a secret cellar in an abandoned building for more than five months by a vengeful neohuman who looked like Otto Kessel when he died, killed and defeated by Rita Estevez two years ago but the real one is still alive hell-bending on humanity. Annika spent five months while uncovering the dark secrets behind his past until she escaped and reunited with the boys in time just as Jones managed to restrain him in time only to learn that he was from a parallel universe.
