This won't be a word for word transcription of the conversation.
Nobody knows when exactly it happened, but one day, two guilds appeared in the world, the Guild of Light and the Guild of Dark Assassins. Dark Assassins were dangerous to society and the whole world, they were all very strong and had the worst human qualities.
My real name is a secret, but I am known by my codename Anjeez. I am in the Guild of Light.
One day on patrol, I met a girl with pale pink hair in a dark robe, smiling sweetly at me. She looked pretty... interesting. Unfortunately, while contemplating about her, I made a near fatal mistake: I had let my guard down. And before I knew it, the girl came straight at me, grabbing at my neck with a sinister smile.
"Wh... What's going on?!"
The girl chuckled with a sinister smile, and started to squeeze my neck from both sides. Her smile showed a hint of cruelty. Her eyes stared straight through my soul and I could feel the blood going to my brain. I can't even move a finger, she was just too strong!
The girl's grip tightened stronger as I tried prying her off, but was unsuccessful. Her grip was as tight as it could be. I started to panic and quickly brainstormed ways to escape her deathly grip. As my life was slowly fading away, the only thing I could think about was her vibrant, yet cold, pink eyes and her smile so cold and cruel. No matter what I did, I couldn't do anything about it..
I chuckled to myself. "So... this is how it all ends... vibrantly with shining colors..." I smiled. "Heh... I don't think those can be considered the right words..."
The crazed girl's cruel and cold smile slowly turned sadistic. She laughed at my weak and futile attempts to save myself, I couldn't even resist one bit from a cold and heartless assassin like her. Your life was just about to end..
But just at the very last second, you saw someone approaching...
Screaming at the top of my lungs, I tried to get the person's attention. And thankfully, without a second thought, they intervened and kicked the girl off of you before the worst happened. When the girl saw this, she froze and with fear in her eyes she backed away from us, she looked stunned...
"Who is this girl?" I thought to myself.
The person who saved me was covered head to toe in a black robe. I saw no facial features and couldn't even tell whether they were a man or a woman. The person looked at you with concern.
Without saying a word, I began to make my escape.
Who was this mysterious figure? The person was just standing there, watching me leave. Maybe I should wait for a second and at least take a good look at them? What if this person disappears and I don't have the chance to meet them again? Will I ever see them again?
I decided to turn around, noticing the colors of the slightest hint of blue hair and green eyes shining brightly like gems in the moonlight. They had a mysterious look to them, a strange aura emanated from them. Their robe was all-black and almost completely covered their face. The person seemed to have some sort of magic. Something about them was so strange but charming that I couldn't look away.
Curiosity got the better of me and I decided to walk over to the mysterious person. The pink haired girl seemed to be gone now. As I walked closer to them, the person stared at me with no expression, they looked at me with their icy green eyes, still covered in their black robe without even the slightest bit of their face showing.
"Uh... thank you... for saving my life..."
The mysterious voice responded with a deep, monotone voice. "You're welcome."
They paused for a moment before speaking again, this time their tone was calm and smooth. "What is your name?"
"Oh... me?" I asked. Not once did I ever get asked for my name. "You can just call me Anjeez for now. Who are you?"
The person didn't answer your question and instead spoke in their calm and smooth tone, "It is nice to meet you, Anjeez."
They spoke again and even though their tone of voice was calm and smooth with nothing hidden in it, they still sounded mysterious and ominous... "I would like to ask you something."
I felt a shiver up my spine. "Sure... what is it?"
The mysterious figure paused before speaking again, "Are you a member of the Guild of Light or are you a civilian?" Despite being calm and smooth, I could detect a hint of caution.
"I'm... part of the Guild of Light..."
At my response the person's tone stayed calm, but they still seemed to be cautious, as if they knew something.. they paused for a split-second before speaking again.
"Have you noticed any strange activity in the city lately?"
I blinked. "I suppose so, but I don't think it has been stranger than usual..."
The person spoke again, there was no sign of irritation in their tone of voice but there was a hint of suspicion in it. "Are you sure?"
What was their deal? I spoke again, "Is this about the Guild of Dark Assassins?"
*At the mention about the Guild of Dark Assassins, the person's tone seemed to change to something more serious and ominous. They seemed to know something that they were not revealing. They paused for a small moment before speaking again. "Yes.. that is correct."
"I suppose that girl who attacked me is part of that guild, right?"
Not seeming to be surprised by my assumption, they instead only nodded their head. "Yes, she must be part of the Guild of Dark Assassins, she was trying to kill you.."
"I... really need to be more careful, do I?" I mused.
"Yes, you have to be more careful." the mysterious person said, "I would advise you to keep your eyes open and pay close attention to your surroundings, there are many dark assassins out there.."
As part of the Guild of Light, the Guild of Dark Assassins were on my tail. It was almost basic knowledge in the Guild of Light; the Dark Assassin's first priority is us. Which reminds me... who actually is this person?
As the mysterious person was about to leave, I spoke up. "I got one last question to ask you."
The person turned around, looking at me once again with their cold and mysterious eyes.
"Are you part of the Guild of Light too? Or are you a Dark Assassin like her?"
The person paused for a few minutes before answering. The suspense was killing me as I waited for their response. The person spoke in a calm, smooth and monotonous tone as usual.
"I am neither a member of the Guild of Light nor a Dark Assassin, I am something else."
Something else? "What do you... mean by that?" I asked.
The person paused once again, it seemed that their tone of voice was starting to become more ominous. After hearing my question they spoke in a much more ominous tone.
"I have my own separate goals from the Guild of Light and I am definitely not a Dark Assassin," the hooded figure said, "You can't categorize me as either of them since I am something else."
"Then... what are you?" I asked, "Who are you?"
Once again, the person paused for a few minutes before answering again.. Was I getting on their nerves by having all these questions? It was honestly hard to tell since they always spoke with a calm, smooth and monotonous tone. They spoke again in a more ominous and grim tone of voice.
"I cannot reveal my identity to you and I cannot tell you my goals or intentions. You will find out the answers to your questions when the time is right."
When the time is right...?
"Um... I see... uh... thanks anyways."
The person smiled slightly and spoke again with their ominous tone of voice. It was pretty hard to tell if they were smiling or even just making a facial expression. "You're welcome."
As I went home, or rather, back to headquarters, I didn't really have a home, I kept thinking about the events of today. About the pink haired assassin, and my blue-haired saviour...
Do you think is a good writing tool? It is certainly good for inspiration. Also, who wants me to continue this AU?
