A man in his early 20s walked around his academy, not minding much of his business, other than wanting to get his academic job done.

He is Suiryu Genbu, and he's nothing more than a far above average looking individual, popular around his academy not just for his looks and decently high grades, but also something else.

Something that will be explored soon enough in this chapter.

Although he has a great popularity, his fellow campus mates/students knew not to trouble him in his life since a good psyche is also required.

"Good morning, Suiryu-kun!"

"Good morning!"

Exchanging greetings to other classmates is pretty normal in his daily life now, ain't it?

His classes would go on as normal, but in the middle of it, in a sudden, a gate appeared right beside the academy!

Not long after that, several monsters exited the gate, before one massive monster/Kaiju appeared.

Looking to his side, in the midst of surprise and excitement, his classmates were also glancing at him.

This one is massive, and due to its size, it would require a powerful A Rank or S Ranked hunter to come, luckily they have one man who could go toe to toe with it!

"Teacher, you know the drill." Suiryu spoke, stretching his body for a moment as he stood up. "I'll be going to stop that gate!"

Some cheered, and a few were confused until he showed his hunter I.D. card, before leaving the room to sprint to the roof.

Why did he do that? It's natural for him and certain hunters to be excused as mandated to universal laws, and if asked why he kept on pursuing his academic path, he would just reply with:

"It's just what I want to do. Don't mind it, after all, I'm about to graduate anyways!"

Now that he is on the roof, he spent no time sprinting to the edge of it, then he jumped while taking short glances at the ground below. With a fearless smile, he crossed his arms as if to bring out a certain thing.

"Mazin Go!" He yelled out, and suddenly, he is inside the cockpit of a large, red jet named Brain Condor, piloting it while his clothing changed to a tight suit and his glasses became a helmet with a visor.

Below him was a large humanoid mechanical being that is in a standing position, immobile. It had materialized along with his jet in less than three seconds, which is enough time for someone like him.

It took him a while to line up the jet to the crown, and once he did, he immediately pushed the wheel forward.

"Fire... On!"

Under that voice command, the Brain Condor's parts shifted until it landed on the crown and became part of the robot, bringing it to life.

"Alright! Rank S Hunter with the title of Great Mecha Pilot, Suiryu Genbu, is on the stage! Let's go, Great Mazinger!"

What happened before this? What are his motives?

Oh, it all started before he was born, minutes after his death.

He met a young man in a business suit, tapping his desk while glancing at a soul with boredom.

"Suiryu, hm? I don't care about your karma or anything else, I'm just doing my job as a wish granter. Now, state only one wish. Also, you're the next soul to be transferred towards the Solo Leveling world, no questions asked." He spoke- no, demanded bluntly, and the soul began pondering.

It was once a construction worker who was a decent enjoyer of Mecha anime. Harem anime is pretty cool, but it gets pretty old fast since the idiot MC mostly gets the bitches and doesn't even make a move towards them like an NTR protagonist.

So... He had his dreams of becoming a real pilot of Mecha ever since he was a child, and the chance to make his wish had rekindled his dreams, childish or not.

Strangely enough, it doesn't matter what happens, since soon enough the Shadow Monarch would save the world anyways.

If highly possible, he wouldn't really have anything to do with the protagonist of the world since he's practically a mob character there.

But he still wanted to try.

Something as good as his dreams being manifested had excited him, and it was his decision to act accordingly.

"Alright, I suppose I wish to be able to pilot three Super Robots that I could summon in a whim, namely: Cybuster, Great Mazinger, and Soulgain from Super Robot Wars. Also make me be able to quickly learn how to use them." He stated his wish, and his supposed wish granter snapped his fingers.

"Done. Now go. I'm not in the mood to do some talking right now since I've had an unruly bastard wanting to be the Beast Monarch after a long, annoying rant. Right now, I suppose I'll be waiting for the next person to appear here."

With that, the soul vanished, only to wake up as a baby. Guess he is going to have to live a new life starting as one.

He still has a long life that would be narrated for a few chapters, so just wait for a long time I guess.

Still, having such massive robots should give a lot of attention to those robots he will soon pilot, right?

Suiryu Genbu is reborn as a boy with the same name, around March 19 1996 in Northern Kyoto, and his birth was normal.

I mean, being in constant pain being pressed down by flesh for almost an hour was painful you know?

His father, the current head of the old Genbu clan was out for personal business, and his sole child was to become the next head.

Simply put, his men were commanded to become his bodyguards and protect him by any means, and take care of him if he is alone.

The boy's growth was steady, in educational or even in personal training such as being taught the clan's martial art's basics.

There is but one problem: due to being pampered incredibly by his men and parents due to incredible riches, would he be spoiled and become arrogant?

The answer was no since he was a reincarnated individual, and due to this he had an aura of maturity around him.

For 12 years his smartness is appreciated and known throughout the clan, making the elders and many other people to have incredible expectations for him.

Well, he was still an elementary student at this time, until...
