p class="MsoNormal"She looked at her watch, "It's getting late," she looked at James, "We should leave." After they said their goodbyes to Sirius, Remus and Peter, they got out of the pub and started walking down the empty street./p

p class="MsoNormal""What happened?," James asked as Lily stopped to check but there was no one behind her./p

p class="MsoNormal""JAMES!" she screamed as he fell. She took out her wand but was disarmed by a person in a hooded cloak. The person threw a spell again and Lily closed her eyes waiting for the spell to hit her but it never did./p
p class="MsoNormal"She opened her eyes and saw a girl and a boy standing in her front of her. The girl had blonde hair and she was deflecting the hooded man's spells with her sword. Meanwhile the dark-haired boy kept shooting daggers made out of water at the man./p
p class="MsoNormal"Lily saw how they both worked in co-ordination until her mind went back to James. He was only unconscious so she revived him./p
p class="MsoNormal"She saw Sirius, Remus and Peter running towards her and James with their wands out. Meanwhile, the strange girl and boy had already knocked down the attacker with the hilt of the sword./p
p class="MsoNormal"They stepped towards the Marauders and Lily but were greeted with five wands raised at them./p
p class="MsoNormal""Whoa-," the dark-haired boy said, "Calm down guys. We just saved your lives, remember?"/p
p class="MsoNormal"Somehow Lily knew she could trust them. So following her instinct she lowered her wand and the others followed suit./p

p class="MsoNormal""And who is that man?" Remus asked pointing at the unconscious man./p

p class="MsoNormal""Yeah I remember something vaguely about that," Percy joked. But looking at Annabeth, he realized it was a mistake. "Okay, what's going on, Annabeth? You're scaring me now," he said, worry evident in his tone./p
p class="MsoNormal""I couldn't help but wonder what happened to them after we came back to our time. So I asked around about them through our contacts in London."/p
p class="MsoNormal""Okay and what did you find?" He asked curiously./p
p class="MsoNormal""Percy, all of them are dead," Annabeth said darkly./p

Lily and James got married and had a son but soon after they were killed by the dark wizard Voldemort. Apparently, Peter was the one who betrayed them and ratted them out. He put the blame on Sirius who went to the wizarding prison for 13 years. And two years after he escaped from the prison, he died in a duel. And Remus died a year ago."/p
p class="MsoNormal"Percy was not able to believe what he just heard, "But it doesn't make sense. Why would my dad send us on a quest to save those people if this is what their future was?"/p

p class="MsoNormal""You said Lily and James had a son, right?" Percy said doing the math in his head, "Which means he must be around our age."/p

p class="MsoNormal"A boy opened the door and Percy gasped. He was an exact copy of James Potter, except for his eyes and a lightning bolt scar on his forehead./p

p class="MsoNormal"Harry was shocked. These people were about his age, then how could they know his parents? His hand inched towards his wand in his pocket, just in case these people were death eaters who still weren't caught by the Ministry./p
p class="MsoNormal"Annabeth caught his hand movement and realized what he must be thinking, "We are not death eaters. I know it must be hard to believe since we must be babies when your parents….died. But we can explain if you let us in."/p
p class="MsoNormal"Harry was still cautious, but he decided to give them a chance. He let them in and after they were seated, Percy and Annabeth started telling their story. They told him how they were demigods and how Poseidon had sent them on a quest to protect the Marauders and Lily from the death eater who had gone to the past to try to kill them./p
p class="MsoNormal"After they were done, Harry didn't know what to do. He knew time travel was possible, having travelled in the past himself but travelling back 20 years? But his instinct told him that Percy and Annabeth were telling the truth./p

p class="MsoNormal"Annabeth took a sigh of relief "Thanks. But there's one thing we are still not sure of. Why would Poseidon send us on a quest to save your parents if they would die a couple of years later only?"/p

p class="MsoNormal"Harry nodded, "I do," he cleared his throat, "But I have their good memories as well." He told them how brave James and Lily were. How he had a good time with his godfather before he died. How Remus had a son named Teddy and how cute Teddy was. He even showed old pictures that he had of his parents and their friends./p
p class="MsoNormal"Percy held up a photo where all the Marauders were standing. Then James went out of the frame for a second and brought back Lily with him and all of them started laughing until the scene happened all over again./p
p class="MsoNormal"He wished he could again go back in past and this time warn the Marauders and Lily about their fates and save them. But he knew that was not possible. Sometimes things must happen, whether you like it or not. Sometimes you lose people, whether you want to or not./p
