Chapter 1: Goodbye Shinobi Life! Hello High School Life!

'You know now that I think about it…the past 14 years of my life, have been amazingly different than the one's I had in Konoha.' Shisui was walking back home as he wore a blue t-shirt and black shorts. Carrying his sports bag with it's strap across his chest, the teen reminisced on the past. Having grown in Tokyo in his new life, he compared the difference of the two.

'In the past, I was forced to grow quickly and take care my parents…I never had a chance to be a child and sadly I never was able to reach my goals.' He thought as his death was due to Danzo forcing him into a tight corner. 'In this new life I was able to become a child.' He looked across the street to the playground which he and his older sister played constantly.

He always felt blessed to have been given a sibling. Being an only child back when he was an Uchiha, he and Anzu seemed to get along well.

To the point where in which it was only when they were eleven, that Shisui finally moved to the guest room and out of their shared room.

'From being a shinobi destined to kill and protect the Leaf, no matter what. I traded the steel kunai's for the baseball mitt.' He added not long ago he had wrapped up baseball practice. With his sister not being the extracurricular type, he would always find her back home before him. 'If only she'd take a break from all that chocolate and video games. She'd be fitter to run away from all those critters.'

To Shisui, his older sister was so hilarious, whenever it was a big boss battle or they playing together she'd always show great strength and resilience. But when it came to bugs, she'd freak out to the point, no one was safe to all the objects she'd throw at the bugs.

Her noddle arm made their home a warzone whenever she saw them. 'The fact she hit dad with the plunger when he came to help, is the reason mom said she'd have to see it as cake.' He thought as he chuckled remembering the morning, Anzu had come out of the shower to her surprise a cockroach waited at the door frame.

His dad heard her window-shattering scream and he rushed towards the bathroom with a pillow. Why a pillow? His dad said he'd suffocate the assailant, the only problem was the cockroach had run out of the bathroom through the low door crack, and already with a plunger at hand, Anzu threw it only for his dad to open the door and receive it on his face.

The fact it was in use earlier that morning forced dad, to have three whole showers. She was a serious villain…even if she apologised.

'I really like my new life, even if my past one was robbed away…this one is less stressful.' He concluded.

When he finally got home, the place was a two story townhouse, painted white with a white picket fence. With the living room and kitchen being downstairs, all the bedrooms were upstairs. Walking up to the door, Shisui took off his shoes and opened the door. Much to his surprise Anzu stood a few feet from the door holding a bag filled with treats and reading a box that was in her right hand. "Hey, Anzu." He greeted his sister cheerfully as he put his shoes beside the door. "What'yu got there?" he asked as he stood beside his older sister who surprisingly was only taller than him by a few inches.

"EEEH! SHISUI IT'S FINALLY HERE!" she shouted out in joy as she began kissing the box much to Shisui's humour. "You do know that box isn't sanitary, right?"

"But my entire purpose in life is finally in my hands, Shisui!" she explained her reaction. "Well your purpose in life is very unhygienic Sis. For all we know that box could have germs from all corners of the globe."

Anzu hearing this stopped briefly as she shivered at the thought. "And like that…my moods dampened."

"Well what came into the mail? That new game of yours?" Anzu nodded as Shisui grinned. "Well let's go fire it up, then!" he proclaimed.

Relaxing in Anzu's room and playing on her console, Shisui ate some chocolate from his sister's new stash as she decided to try out the game first. "Kami has blessed me the most, Shisui!" she stated with joy. "What makes you say that?" they were currently sitting on the floor, with the plastic bag beside Shisui. Anzu had opened up her box and placed it infront of them as she had Momohiki, her cat resting on her crossed laps as she held the joy stick.

"I get to do all my favourite things at once!" she said as she ate a block of chocolate. "I get to play video games, with my little brother. Be with Momohiki and eat chocolate! Kami's so gracious to me that it's even Friday!" she said ecstatic. "You know what that means, right?"

"What, you want us to pull another all-nighter?" she nodded with a smile as Shisui hummed. "I don't know…I have a game on Sunday. Wouldn't want to be too tired for it."

"Oh come on, Shisui! Wouldn't you sacrifice your sleeping time to play with your onee-chan?"

"I'm kinda in a hard place, Anzu…I really want to be fresh that day."

Anzu puffed her cheeks when she heard this and as if on cue, she used herself and Momohiki to do puppy eyes. "Pretty please." She added making the situation even more adorable. The fact that even Momohiki purred made it even more tough, as Shisui loving his sister so much, also had a soft spot for cats, especially his sister's.

"Alright…fine." He gave in much to their delight. "Hurray!" Anzu celebrated "But." Shisui spoke up getting her attention. "I'm going to take two chocolate bars." He replied as he took out two from the bag. "What?! Why?"

"I'm going to need something to give me energy." He stated "But you could drink coffee."

"I'm 14, Anzu. Take it as a sacrifice for enjoying some quality time with me." Shisui smiled as Anzu rolled her eyes. "You're such a schemer, you'd use any chance to rob me blind." She whinned as Shisui laughed. "It's not my fault the world's like this. Nothing comes for free." He shrugged his shoulder's taking another block from the opened box.

"Mhmm." Anzu replied as she got her attention taken by the loaded game.

In the game:

The game the two were playing was a romance novel. As having felt a bit bored from action and being dull for some RPG, the two felt some roasting on romance would be more entertaining. Since making fun of all the tropes and cliches constantly pointed out were much more funny.

"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" some Prince charming character told their character, a high school girl who was late for school and wasn't paying attention to the corner. "I'm fine." The girl replied as much to their surprise, soon enough the two started dating and eventually were on cloud-9.

Out of game

"You know the one's who show up outta nowhere tend to be the serial killers." Shisui commented as Anzu agreed. They'd spent a couple of hours on it that their character seemed to meet a new boy every new mission. "What the heck's with this terrible game?" she told herself "Shisui pass me it's cover." She asked for it as it laid on her bed. Shisui getting it passed it to her.

"Oh come on! This isn't even the right game!" she complained. "Like the girl doesn't even have a witch costume or it's companion." She pointed out. "Can I see?" Shisui asked as Anzu passed it to him.

" 'Select of Romance.' Yep, you were definitely snubbed." He replied as Anzu felt lifeless. "That's the last time I'm buying on eBay." She whinned as at the time while Shisui was cheering her up, the two looked up to watch as a miniature yellow wizard clay thingie jumped out of their tv.

"A fanfare, please!" Riri, the wizard demanded much to the pair's surprise as confetti came out of thin air. "You, Anzu Hoshino have been selected today as subject one! Congratulations!" he pointed at Anzu with his wand. Anzu freaked out when she saw him, while Shisui having been used to weird things from his past life, was caught off by surprise and felt intrigued by the wizard.

"And you Shisui Hoshino being the witness of this greeting, will act as a judge!" he pointed at Shisui who was interested by what it said. 'Judge? Judge of what?' he thought

"Hello! I'm Riri, the wizard who grants all your dreams." He concluded his introduction. "A wizard?" the two siblings said in unison.

"It's complicated to explain, so for the time being, please just read this carefully." He pointed to the screen as, terms and conditions popped up. "What's up with that many legal stuff in this magical-themed game?!" Anzu complained as the whole thing filled the entire screen. "Worse part it goes on forever!" she added.

"Can you just explain it in a few sentences?" Anzu asked as Riri delivered.

"To put it simply, we came all the way from the Magic World to support those with no experience with romantic relationships like you." He pointed at Anzu. "What!? Romantic relationships! What makes you say I'm the only one?"

"Well your younger brother, from what I read in our records. He doesn't seem to have a problem." Anzu hearing this turned to Shisui. "Wait, really?! Shisui! You didn't tell me you had a girl friend." She stated in shock "I don't." he replied "I'm not sure what the wizard's talking about."

"Oh that Kami. For a moment I thought I'd have to share my little brother with someone." She sighed in relief. "Well that must be because he doesn't accept all of his fangirls requests." Riri spoke up. "Fangirls?! You didn't tell me you were that famous!" Shisui shrugged "I'm also surprised and confused by what they see in me."

"It's probably the fact you're cute, athletic and are a good person, Shisui." Riri said as Shisui hearing this rubbed the back of his neck. "Really?" Riri nodded "Who would've thought. You give someone some food and they think suddenly you're husband material." He spoke to himself.

"So, Anzu when did your heart last throb for a guy? Sibling love doesn't count." Riri asked Anzu who replied with video game characters.

In the end, the two siblings' all-nighter ended before it even started as Anzu lost everything. Her chocolates, games, parents and worst of all…Momohiki!

Riri took everything from her and she couldn't do anything.

"Bye, Shi-chan. Call me everyday, alright." Shisui and Anzu's mom said as she kissed him on the forehead. Having helped them with moving their bags to the taxi that'd take them to the airport, Shisui hugged his mom tightly. "Bye mom. Bring me a souvernir from Yankee Stadium, alright?" his mom nodded. "I'll do my best." She smiled as she patted his head. With their parents finally gone, Shisui watched as the taxi went down the street and out of sight.

"Shisui, it's like I'm in rehab." Anzu complained to her little brother as they returned into the house. Yesterday they were left to hold down the fort by their parents after a surprising move occurred. "I have this urge for chocolate but that thing took it all away. Can I have some of yours?" she asked. "Sorry, but Riri said to help you I should help in rehabilitating you." He replied much to her surprise. "You're taking some random Joe's side than your onee-chan's?! How could you!" she felt betrayed.

"Can you blame me though? How long have I been telling you that you need to take a break from that stuff? Maybe with no games, you can finally play a sport, I hear the volleyball team at school has trials coming up."

"Not helping, Shisui!" Anzu whined as they went down the stairs. "Though was it necessary for mom and Dad to leave us alone?" Shisui murmured "I mean, sure we have school…but what are we going to eat?" he said as they arrived in the kitchen.

"Don't worry I'll be our chef." Anzu said proudly as Shisui groaned. "No offense, Anzu. But were not going to survive the whole month with you on the pots."

"Hey! I take offense to that."

"Even if it's true?"

"Especially because of that." She huffed as she remembered something. "Wait? Doesn't Dad work at the post office?"

"Yeah he does, why?" Shisui asked "Was a relocation to the US, even necessary?"

"From what I see, everything that'd occurred yesterday happened quick and it was after Riri left . First he made your judge, then he took everything precious to you, except me, he took mom, dad and Momohiki. So…he must have a plan that'll end up with our home being used in your dating life."

"Our house? What's that weirdo going to do with our, place?"

"Most likely going to make guys move in here out of the bloom, as a way to make the chances of you having a boyfriend, high. What I suggest is for us to be ready for anything."

"Wow, Shisui. Call me impressed." Popping out of nowhere was Riri, and when Anzu saw him, she didn't hesitate to pluck him out of the air, and throw him across the room into the wall.

"That's right you damn blob! I've got more energy I want to release on you!" she said feeling angry at the fact, Riri used the high schooler living all alone trope, of all things.

"You'll turn everything back to normal right now!" she demanded "It's not possible!" he replied much to her dismay. "Momohiki!" Anzu shouted as much to both Shisui and Riri's surprise she just stormed out of the house rushing down the street possibly to catch up with their parents' cab.

"Umm…is she always that eccentric?" Riri asked Shisui who chuckled

"You'll get used to her." He replied as he decided to run after her.

Having given up on her parents the two siblings ended up going to every shop available for some chocolate and shockingly it was never available for her. "Damn, I guess Riri put you on a prohibition list." Shisui commented as they stood in the last store they'd came upon.

Having spent surpringly their entire day searching on chocolate, Shisui felt impressed that for once Anzu did some cardio. Even if it was the wrong reason.

Having left her to go through a character breakthrough, he got them both some water from the store. "Thanks." Anzu said as she took a bottle. "Are you now, calm?" Shisui asked as she nodde.d "Yeah, I've came to a big conclusion, Shisui." She opened the bottle and took a gulp. "I won't be playing into that wannabe game developer's hands! Bring on all the cuties, I say! No one will shackle down Anzu 'The Romantic Killer' Hoshino!" she shouted out her name and title getting weary eyes from everyone in the store.

"Onee-chan, you're making a scene." Shisui whispered as Anzu being embarrassed blushed and apologised. "Come on, Shisui. Let's go home." She said as they went to the door. Following behind her, Shisui watched as Anzu opened the door and shockingly hit someone's phone out of their hand. The phone fell to the ground hard as its screen shattered.

"Aah! I'm so sorry!" Anzu apologised as the boy went up to pick up his phone. "That's a pretty good crack." The boy replied as he looked at his phone. While Anzu felt flustered when she saw the boy's face through the black cap he wore, Shisui noticed how familiar the boy looked. "I'm really sorry! I'll pay to fix it." Anzu offered as the boy waved it off.

"You don't have to pay for the repairs. I wasn't paying attention either." At that time Shisui put his finger on the guy's image. 'He goes to the same school as us.' Shisui concluded.

"Well, then thanks! Come Shisui." Anzu quickly grabbed his hand. "Thanks a lot! Sorry for bumping you. Goodbye!" she added as she surprisingly gave him a piggy back and ran away with him, full speed back home. The boy just looked speechless. 'Huh, who'd think that Shisui kid's sister was weird.' He thought to himself, as not far away Riri could be seen smirking.
