...Seen them yet? Good, because this is a prequel of episode one.

This a simple 'slice of life' chapter.

Let's get into it!

We see sunlight enter a room with black walls and a double white stripe going across the top of them.

The light fills up the room, revealing some things you wouldn't normally see in someone's bedroom.

On a desk, there's a camera, a blueprint sketchbook. some tools, pencils and pens, a green box with a white exclamation mark, and some small blue cubic pieces making up part of a hollow cube.

On the wall were two shelves, one over the other. The lower shelf had a Rubik's cube and a glass case with some kind of star inside. On the upper shelf were three trophies: one with a red mushroom, one with a winged green turtle shell of some kind, and one with three lightning bolts.

Next to it was a closet, and near it, there was a black skateboard against the wall with a white capital 'A' on the bottom.

There was a computer on a separate desk by the door out the room. Lying on the side of the desk was a backpack.

And across from the desk was a bed with the same color and stripes as the room walls and in it was an African-American boy in his teens asleep.

Suddenly, an alarm went off from the phone on it's charger on the bedside dresser.

By chance, the boy hit his phone screen from his spot in the bed with his hand and it hit the alarm.

He then sat up straight before rubbing his eyes before pulling off his blankets and getting out of bed, showing that he has on a navy blue T-shirt with a white splatter pattern, some black sweatpants, and white socks.

He picked up his pair of glasses from the dresser on his way to the closet, and went in it to change before closing the closet doors.

Having this routine before, he had gotten changed in a few seconds before opening his closet, revealing his day attire.

He now has on his glasses, a gray T-shirt, a black jacket, black jeans and some black sneakers with white laces.

Cutting to the bathroom, we see him brush his teeth and wash his face with a black hand towel, then finally put his glasses back on.

Cutting back to his room, we see him go through his backpack making sure everything's in there before hearing his mom call out, "Aaron, breakfast!"

"In a minute!" he called back.

He went over to his other desk and grabbed his camera off it before putting it in his backpack. He then put the backpack on before heading for his phone.

"Aaron!" his mom called again.

"In a minute!" he repeated, grabbing his phone and charger from the bedside dresser.

He picked up his skateboard on his way out of his room and made his way downstairs.

When he stepped into the kitchen, he saw his Mom making breakfast.

She's a woman in her late 30's. She had short hair brown hair, tan skin, and is wearing a hot pink shirt, some jeans, and grey shoes. Her name's Elsie, but the people close to her call her Kandy.

Aaron looked around the kitchen before spotting a white block [dimensions: 3x3x3 inches] with a yellow question mark on top of the fridge.

He grabbed the block and pocketed it.

"Aaron-" Elsie said, but was cut off when Aaron snatched a few eggs and bacon from the pan and scarfing them down as well as some waffles that popped up from the toaster.

"In a minute, Mom." Aaron said again.

He went back to the fridge, opened the doors and pulled out two soda bottles which he put into his backpack.

Aaron brought the block out of his pocket, tossed it in the air, and hit it as it came back down.

The block hit the floor, and it glowed white. The glowing block changed shape and grew, and when the glow went away, there was some kind of white pipe sticking out of the floor.

Before Aaron could climb on top of it, Elsie stopped him in place from behind and gave a motherly kiss on his cheek.

"Mom!"

"In a minute. *continues kissing*"

Aaron smiled, rolled his eyes, and shook his head, letting his mother continue doing what she was doing.

When she finished, Aaron stood on top of the pipe, and said, "Bye, Mom. Love you."

"Have a nice day." she said back.

Aaron then descended into the pipe. The pipe then disappeared into white sparkles.

Elsie: "*sighs* What am I gonna do with that boy?"

A pipe similar to the one that was in Aaron's house appeared from white sparkles on a pathway.

Aaron rose out of the pipe before getting off it. It turned back into a block right after.

He put the block away before walking down the path. It didn't take long before he was walking amognst others that were his age going in the same direction.

He greeted a few as he walked towards the entrance to his school.

"Morning, Samus." Aaron greeted to the left with a wave.

"Hey, Aaron." a blonde with a ponytail with blue greeted back, while ignoring a boy in a red cap who was trying to show off.

"Morning, Coach W.." Aaron greeted to the left.

"Good morning, Aaron." A grey-skinned woman in a light blue top greeted back, while training four students.

"Hey, D.P.." he greeted to the left again.

"Hm." a boy with dark hair and wings went, while leaning against a tree, watching Aaron walk by.

"Hey, Daisy. Morning, Zelda. Hey, Isabelle." he greeted to the front-left of him.

"Hey, Aaron." a brunette in yellow, a blonde with pointed ears in blue, and an anthropomorphic yellow Shih Tzu wearing green greeted back all at the same time, as he walked by them.

Aaron walked through the front doors of the school, took in a breath, then let it out.

Welcome to Nintendo High, one of the best schools in this world...I mean, there is SEGA High, but we're not here to talk about that school.

Aaron smiled seeing everyone in the building. "No place like Nintendo High."

As he walked through the halls, he was greeted by everyone he walked by.

Everyone in Nintendo High knew Aaron; the boy from the 'real' world who wasn't phased by much in this one.

He was popular, but he lives like a normal person while trying to learn as much as can from this world when he gets the opportunity.

That's what they liked about him; he's one of those 'geeky and curious but nice and sorta cool' kids. He's also pretty dependable when it comes to certain topics.

He went over to his locker, placed his bag inside, and went through it before getting the stuff he needed for his upcoming classes: a sizeable notebook and two folders.

He closed it and made his way to class before the bell rang.

Time for a quick montage!

Aaron's schedule today consisted of four classes a day.

Due to the large size of the school building, you can estimate that there's a large quantity of classes, considering the vast variety of realms, areas, towns, and places this world has to offer.

Speaking of which, the first class was Mr. Tingle's geography class; one of the most helpful classes, in Aaron's opinion.

Although he thought the short, green-wearing, hylian teacher might've had some problems to work out, Aaron was very attentive in his class.

He's currently writing notes about sections of undiscovered regions. Just like his world; most of the world's percentage is still undiscovered.

...But, this world has the resources he could get access to unlike in his world. Maybe he could do what others have failed to try to do...

You know what they say 'There's always more to explore'. There could be so much he could find out...

Maybe...Just maybe...

We now switch to Mr. Oak's biology class. And they were going over mammals.

At the moment, everyone had a workbook and were tasked to do a worksheet based off the section they've read.

Aaron knew Mr. Oak outside and inside Nintendo High. He was a biology teacher by day, and a Pokemon researcher by night.

He respected that because, well, who didn't like Pokemon? The many types, species, powers and attacks...

Just now during class, Aaron's working on his assignment when he felt a tap and looked to the desk on his right.

A yellow Shy Guy was having a problem with his work, and he asked Aaron for a hand with it.

While pointing to certain parts at the introverted individual's classwork, he explained the work for him before he thanked Aaron.

Let's not ask how he understood what he said.

End quick montage!

We're now in the school cafeteria, and Aaron's just sitting at a table, lunch tray in hand and in the other was a bottle of soda he brought from the fridge earlier today.

It was his favorite brand from this world: Chuckola Cola.

While he opened it and drank some, at the table behind him were two girls: one was a bit shorter than the other and was in pink and looked to be part squid, and the other dark skinned, wearing black and green, and looked to be part octopus.

The from here, it seems the former pleaded something from the latter and she politely declined saying sorry.

Pearl lowered her chin onto the table before spotting Aaron.

She smiled as if she was saved, and quickly got up and went to his table.

Getting his attention by slamming her hands onto the table, she said, "Aaron! I need help! Life or death situation happening here!"

Aaron stopped drinking and said "Did you forget to do your homework again, Pearl?" with a knowing look.

"...Maybe."

"Were you up late making beats with Marina again? At least she knows when to call it a night. *smirks and raised eyebrow* You ever heard of a work-life balance?"

Pearl pleaded, "Aaron, please, you need to let to show me your math homework! This'll be the last time!"

"You said last time that it'd be the last time."

"Pretty please?!"

Aaron had a skeptical look on his face as he said, "Mmm...I don't know..."

Pearl then inhaled before putting on a very hard to resist pleading look.

Aaron has never said no to that look before...but it didn't work this time.

That usually only works when Pearl and Marina do that to him.

After not seeing Aaron budge, Pearl dropped the look before saying, "Come on!" She pleaded with her hands together, "Aaron, please! I'll do anything!"

"Pearl." Aaron sternly said, not willing to budge.

He knew that if he gave Pearl his homework, this ordeal might happen again. Someone had to be the tough one here.

Pearl then stopped pleading before looking at her friend Marina, who looked back when she noticed her looking.

Pearl then got an idea and had a smirk on her face.

Marina knew what that smirk was, had an anxious expression and crossed her arms and shook her head as if to say, 'Don't do it! Anything but that!'

Pearl turned to Aaron and slyly said, "Hey, Aaron, you want to know a secret~?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow as he ate.

She got close to his left ear.

"(whisper tone) Did you know that Marina has a cru-"

Pearl was stopped mid-sentence due to Marina covering her mouth and pulling her back.

"Sorry, Aaron," she started, "do you mind if I borrow Pearlie for a minute? I just remembered that I need to help her with her homework." "Uh, go ahead."

Marina then pulled Pearl away from Aaron's table, and you can faintly hear her say as they head back to theirs, "I thought you said you wouldn't tell him! You promised!"

Pearl just crossed her arms and mumbled an argument into Marina's hand.

Aaron shook his head and decided not to question it and continued eating his lunch.

Right as he was about to finish, P.A. came on and got his attention.

"Aaron Palmer, please report to the principal's office."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Aaron Palmer, please report to the principal's office." The P.A. repeated before turning off.

Aaron rarely got into trouble in Nintendo High, and since he was the most reliable person in school, the principal mostly called him to do tasks for the school.

"Wonder what it is this time..." Aaron pondered.

Aaron made it into the office and took a seat in front of the principal's desk.

"Hey, Mr. Hand," Aaron greeted, "What can I do for you?"

After taking a sip of his coffee -not sure how, considering he's a giant white hand with red necktie on-, Mr. Hand responded, "Hello, Aaron. I've just gotten word that two new students will be joining Nintendo High this semester. Two brothers, if I remember correctly."

"Okay..." Aaron said, letting him continue, yet knowing where this was going.

"I'd like for you to help them get accustomed to our school; show them what our school has to offer, and make sure they have a pleasant first day. What was the word for it?"

"Orientate them?"

"Correct."

"I can do that."

"Excellent."

The bells than rang throughout the halls.

"You're dismissed. Have a pleasant rest of your day."

"Thank you, Mr. Hand. See ya."

Aaron then left for his last two classes.

Cue a second quick montage!

Next up was the math class Aaron and Pearl mentioned before.

The teacher had to step out for a second after collecting the homework, and the students were currently working on a pop quiz.

On impulse, Aaron reached down to his right and caught an eraser, and placed it back on the desk to his right.

Aaron smiled at his desk neighbor before continuing his quiz.

The one who received the smile, who happened to be Marina, stared at Aaron with a smile of her own for a bit before continuing her quiz herself.

She noticed Pearl give her a smug grin in the corner of her eye, but she was focused on her work.

Okay, so maybe Marina had a bit of a crush on Aaron.

It's not wrong for an Octoling to have feelings for a human.

To end the day, we have P.E. with Coach Wii Trainer, who Aaron calls Coach W..

Today, everyone in the class was running on the track.

Aaron wasn't the fastest nor the slowest on the track, but he had quite the number of stamina, and he did not look tired.

At the moment, he was having a mini lap race with a girl that had blond noodle-like hair with an orange cap and mask.

"Tired yet?" She asked as they were neck and neck.

"I can go all day Min Min. Try me!" he said, starting to go a little faster.

It was fruitless in the end because they both ended in a tie.

End second quick montage!

Aaron's at his locker getting his stuff situated before grabbing his bag from the locker before shutting it.

He then went on his trek to the school doors.

On the way, he spotted a crowd surrounding one of the popular kids. He was this big draconic turtle looking guy.

All the students in the crowd were praising the guy.

"Bowser! You're the coolest!"

"Yeah, I know. I'm awesome."

"The only awesome thing about you is the fact you're carrying that twenty-ton ego on your shoulders." Aaron commented loudly.

The crowd around Bowser started to laugh and the guy in question's smile turned into a snarl as he glared at Aaron, who continued to walk by him and gave Bowser a single mock salute.

Now, you would think that someone as big and strong as Bowser over there would've punted Aaron into the ground or something.

Oh no, you'd be right, it's just that he can't.

You see, whenever someone tries to pull something on Aaron, it usually doesn't end well.

Throughout last week, Bowser's been trying to torment Aaron.

Wanna know how it resulted?

Don't ask how, but each day, Bowser ended up crashing through the door of the teacher's lounge, and would always end up with detention.

If it happened again, he'd get suspended.

Outside of school that week- How about I just show you what happened?

Flashback, last weekend, in a park...

"Where are you, Four-eyes?!"

"Over here, Koopa King!"

Bowser turned around and spotted Aaron step from behind a tree before pulling out a different block from his jacket's pocket. It was like the green box with the exclamation mark in Aaron's room but it was aquamarine instead of green.

Bowser smirked. "So, what's the matter? Scared and decided to just get it over with?"

Aaron smirked back, "Nah, I just feel bad that you're wasting your time trying to beat someone you suck at beating."

Bowser lost it and charged at Aaron, fist reared back.

Aaron calmly threw the block up in the air and hit it when it fell back down, a second before Bowser laid his fist on him.

And then,

*CLANG!*

"YOWCH!" Bowser frantically swung around his now broken hand.

What happened was that Aaron's body had turned into lead when he hit the block.

Still in pain, Bowser looked at Aaron, who smiled and waved at him.

Bowser let out an enraged yell as he tried hitting Aaron with his other fist,

*CLANG!*

"AARGH!" but was met with the same result.

"Guess it's my turn then."

Aaron then reared back his own fist, and hit Bowser in the face with a mighty *WHAM!* and made him black out.

End flashback!

Bowser's lucky that no one found out about that fight.

If word got out that he lost to someone a fraction of his size with some block he made from scratch, his reputation at Nintendo High would go down so fast.

But let's not question Aaron's knowledge on block crafting and research this chapter, save it for another time, and actually focus on the guy as he's leaving the school building.

As he went through the doors, he pulled out his skateboard and got on it before rolling down the path.

Sure, he has the Warp Pipe Block to go home, but he's in the mood to stop by somewhere to get a bite to eat first.

There's this place in Coconut Mall that sells great fast food in the food court, and he would kill for a Magma Burger right now.

As Aaron skated down the path on the way to the mall, he thought about the two new students that he'd be helping on their first day.

He wasn't gonna promise anything, but he'd be sure that whatever happens tomorrow, it would definitely make his life a bit more interesting.
