No way out. No way out. No way out.

Those words echoed in Pomni's head as she sat on her bed that night. This was her life now. Stuck in a world with weird people and weird situations. And the fact she could literally DIE if she reaches her breaking points. She saw what happened with Kaufmo. What if that happens to her?

Pomni's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of knocking.

"Pomni? Pomni, are you there?"

Oh, it's Ragatha, what is she doing up at this hour?

Pomni turns to face the door, trying not to look like she wasn't crying just a second ago.

Pomni opens the door to Ragatha's worried face.

"I could sense that something was wrong, so I came as fast as I could" Ragatha said. "Is everything okay? Are you still freaked out about today?"

Pomni could feel herself about to cry again.

"Would you like me to come in?" Ragatha asks.

Pomni nodded. Her and Ragatha sit down on Pomni's bed.

"I wanna go home" Pomni says. "I don't belong here. I wanna leave. I want to find an exit"

"Pomni…I wish I could help you" Ragatha said. "But I don't want to lose you, not after losing Kaufmo. You're our friend"

"I just met you guys! No offense" Pomni says. "I feel like I won't fit in with everyone else. You all have your lives together, I don't!"

"We've just come to accept our fate. After all, we don't want to be abstracted" Ragatha said. "But you'll fit in perfectly. I already enjoy your presence" She smiles.

Pomni feels her heart racing at the compliment and smile combo. This wasn't normal for Pomni. She just met Ragatha, why does her heart race every time she's nice to her? It could just be a normal reaction but her feelings get more and more intense the more she's around Ragatha.

"Pomni?" Ragatha says. "Is everything okay-"

Without thinking, Pomni pulls Ragatha into a hug. There's a muffle from Pomni that sounds like sobbing.

"Aww Pomni…" Ragatha says. She wraps her arms around Pomni "Everything is gonna be okay…."

It could just be that Ragatha is a doll and is naturally soft but being in her arms makes Pomni feel relaxed. Her heart rate slows down and her sobs stop and she becomes relaxed. So relaxed in fact she started snoring, which surprised Ragatha.

"Did she fall asleep?" Ragatha said. "Well she's had a tough day. I should let her sleep. Ummm"

Problem: Pomni had fallen asleep in Ragatha's arm, which meant Ragatha legally cannot leave. Ragatha decided to stay in Pomni's room for the night. She doesn't want to go back to her room in fear of finding the centipedes Jax put in her room.

When morning, or whatever the digital equivalent is, arrived, Pomni opened her eyes to see she was still wrapped around Ragatha. She screams and pushes Ragatha away, falling off the bed in the process.

"I'm sorry!" Pomni said. "I didn't realize that I was asleep and I was just so stressed out and-"

"Pomni, it's okay," Ragatha said. "Did you rest well?"

"I..did," Pomni said. "I guess I was really tired after yesterday"

"It's gonna take a while to get used to this new world," Ragatha said. "I was just like you when I first came here, looking for an exit. Wanting to get out of here, wanting to escape. I tried as much as I could. But everyone here made me realize something: Maybe staying here isn't so bad. I've made so many friends here and lost a few, but I do enjoy my time here and I think you will too. Infact, everything's coming up Pomni"

Pomni blushed. There it is again. Pomni keeps blushing every time Ragatha says anything. Was Pomni… In love? No, that's crazy. She just met Ragatha. There was no way it was love at first sight. But don't throw that idea out just yet.

Pomni and Ragatha's moment was interrupted by the sound of loud music blaring from the hallway.

"Caine must be planning our next adventure," Ragatha said. "I bet it's another dancing contest"

Ragatha and Pomni leave the room and head to the main hall. Thankfully, they made it their first so that way no one saw them leave the same room. That would be awkward.

When Ragatha and Pomni arrive, they see Caine and Bubble assembling a giant tree while It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year plays. The other cast members soon walk in, bleary eyed.

"I was having a good dream," Jax said. "What's going on?'

"Ah, just in time," Caine says. He floats to the top of the tree holding lights and drops them on the tree, which adjusted itself perfectly to the tree.

"Do you know what day it is?" Caine asks. Everyone turns to the comically large calendar.

"It's November 9th," Zooble says.

"Well I figured since yesterday was so gloomy, I'm bringing Christmas early" Caine says. Bubble throws a snowball at Zooble, they dodge it but Gangle gets hit with it instead, breaking her comedy mask.

"Not again!" Gangle cries.

"Oh no we're not doing this again" Jax says. "Last time you brought Christmas early, we all got the flu from the sudden change in weather"

"Well I thought I would warn you ahead of time" Caine said. He snaps his fingers and suddenly everyone is wearing holiday attire: Ragatha's dress and bow is now red and white plaid colored and her button is green, Gangle's ribbon has a golden trim now and she's wearing a holiday hat, Zooble is wrapped in Christmas lights, Kinger's robe is now red, Jax is wearing a puffy red sweater to accompany his red overalls and is wearing earmuffs not on his ears and Pomni's jester outfit is now red and green instead of red and blue. She also had elf styled shoes.

"It's the most wonderful time of the yeaaar" Caine sang as he finishes up decorations. Zooble is trying to pull the lights off of them.

"I'm not doing this. Not this year" Zooble said. "I hate when people skip thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas"

"This will be Pomni's first Christmas with us" Ragatha said. "I bet she'll love our traditions"

"Fruitcake?" Kinger asks.

"Not if you're making it" Jax says. "You make the worst fruitcake. No Offense"

"I wonder what presents I should get for everyone" Gangle says.

"It's November!" Zooble said. "Let's get through thanksgiving first!"

"For your first adventure of the season," Caine says. "We'll be having an old fashioned snowball fight"

Everyone cheers. Except Zooble.

"IT'S NOVEMBER" Zooble shouts.

"I will be splitting you all into two teams. Team Kris and Team Kringle. Pomni, Ragatha and Gangle, you're on Team Kris and Jax, Kinger and Zooble-"

"Not interested," Zooble said.

"Oh come on Zooble, where is your christmas spirit?" Caine said.

"IN DECEMBER. WHERE IT F^&$KING SHOULD BE" Zooble said.

"Someone's acting like a Scrooge," Bubble says. "Which means now you gotta wear the hat of Scrooge"

Bubble places a top hat on Zooble. They sigh.

"Bah Humbug," Zooble says.

"Now then, everyone, report outside. And remember to bundle up" Caine says. He and Bubble disappear.

"Pomni, you're gonna love it" Ragatha said. "I've got a good throwing arm so we'll be in good hands"

Pomni was still confused by why they were celebrating Christmas so early. Is it because of her? Did they always do this? What was going on?
